Chapter 21- Phase 2

"To all Lima's, Sierra's and Zulu's. You're clear to hot. Shot anything which hasn't an Berserk Crest and points a gun at you"

"Lima actual, copy"

"Sierra 1-1, loud and clear"

"Zulu Lead, Wilco"

Multiple landing crafts docked at the sandy shores of Berk and dozens of Tanks, APCs and IFVs got out of the gaping hulls. MI-28 Havoc Attack helicopters accompanied them. They where heading straight for the capital, where the most fighting took place. Mainly Berkian sweepers and some blind companies fought for Mildew and gave their best to defend him. All the others where wither executed or ran off and where now fighting their fights of survival against either Berkians or Berserks.

A column of Leopard 2A6, T-80 and even some T-90M tanks where rolling along side some Marder IFVs and some BTR-4's towards Berkian capital. Havoc Helos flew ahead and engaged targets with their 30mm mounted underneath their nose.

"Zulu 1-1 to all Zulu's be aware of AT mines. Our BTRs and Marders aren't really rated to withstand one"

"Roger Zulu lead, loud and clear" Came a unified answer.

A rifle barrel peeked around a corner and shot a Berkian sweeper into the chest. The hit man collapsed to the ground, struggling holding his own. Out of reflex he started running. Tho, it didn't really help cause he was laying on his side and moving his legs only ment that he would turn in circles. Another shot fell and the man was silent.

The rifle barrel diapered again and now 2 dozen figures ran towards a building which had "Important" basically written on it.

It was the presidential building where Mildew was allegedly hiding. Despite that fact it was rather unprotected. Hiccups group met 1 or two soldiers which where quickly delt with. It went smooth. A little to smooth. Not that anyone was complaining but all of them had their guards up.

They positioned themselves at the main door. Hiccup on the right, behind him Dagur and Snotlout. On the left Baker, behind him Astrid and one of Dagurs operatives. "Breaching!" Yelled Hiccup and kicked in the door.

Before the whole word even left his mouth the door was shredded by bullets. Dagur could pull Hiccup away in the lats moment. But two of Dagurs operators which where standing rather unfortunate in front of the door got the most and died on the spot.

"These bastards" Said Dagur through gritted teeth.

Extensive Gunfire expanded throughout the small corridor in the Missile silo. Charles and Mickey where dead and Adrian was severely wounded. Dagur covered him as best as he could but he couldn't do anything else.

"Adrian! Get in cover"

Adrian coughed hard and blood spurted out of his mouth.

"I'm sorry sir" Adrian replied as his arm went limb and dropped on the floor. Adrian was now dead too.

"Archangel, how far are you? I can't hold it any longer!" Viggo yelled over the heavy gunfire.

"ABC-1 hold on tight. 5 more minutes"

These are going to be the longest five minutes of Viggo's life.

He knew he wouldn't get there out alive, so he switched to full auto and sprayed led across the corridor. Viggo hit some Soldiers which collapsed on the ground. The others went in cover to shield themselves from the gunfire coming their way. Viggo used that as an opportunity and advanced forwards to the next intersection. Only 100 more meters and he would reach the control room.

An Grenade rolled to his feet. In the last second he kicked it away. The Berkians where now aiming his hiding spot again. Without a proper strategy he would fail. So he threw a smoke grenade and fell back to his previous spot. When the smoke settled he saw multiple enemy soldiers advancing towards him and he opened fire. With his last 10 rounds in his magazine he mowed the formation down, leaving only two survivors. He reloaded and peeked again around the corner he was hiding. He saw one of the survivors crawling towards his companion further behind. Viggo first shot the guy in cover. The soldier crawling stopped and turned around. A horrified look on his face. Then his head exploded in a red cloud of blood and remains of his brain.

Viggo saw no enemies left he started running towards the control room. Suddenly the distinct Thump was heard and he dolphin-dived into the next corner he saw when the 40mm exploded behind him. He lifted his head and saw a man reloading his underbarrel Grenade launcher. While he was fidgeting with the grenade, Viggo lined up his red dot sight and released a single round.

No enemies left. He ran to the control room. After breaching the door he killed some more soldiers. When everything was clear he heard all the alarms ringing out. The launch sequence was already started and there was nothing he could do about it.

By the time Hiccup and the squad cleared the hallway the enemies had intrenched themselves and where now moving into the building to clear room after room and search after the man who caused all this.

"Damnit Hiccup we can't find him in this mess" Complained Snotlout.

Suddenly the whistling of an Nightfury was heard ouside of the residence and an male voice too.

"What the?"

"Toothless?" Asked Hiccup. The Dragon growled and the mans screams got louder. Hiccup walked out the way they came. As he walked out he saw the black Dragon and in its talons a man in a suit and an case in his hands.

"Mildew?" The whole group exclaimed.

When stoick and the others joined it began to get chaotic. Stoick wanted to kill Mildew. Hiccup wanted it too but knew better than to provoke the man with an Launch case in his hands.

"Toothless get off him" said Hiccup when Mildew opened the case and held his hand over the red button.

"If you know what's good for you and the world then i would call them all back" Mildew threatened.

Hiccup just wanted to reply when Stoick lost it. He let out a mighty scream which provoked Mildew who pressed the red button. Everyone was shocked. Hiccup sighed and pulled out the handgun.

"Why should i kill you right now? You have nothing against us anymore. Plus an US bomber is coming and destroying your Nuke" Hiccup explained to Mildew.

Mildew hesitated with saying anything. When he opened his mouth to say something a shot fell. Hiccups Pistol smoked and he eyed the body. "To slow" he said and called for Archangel.

"ABC-1 here Echo-13. Leave that area right the fuck now. Massive Ordinance Penetrator (MOP) incoming"

Viggo laughed at the transmission. "Hiccup... it was an honor fighting alongside you and your squad. Despite us being enemies, i would have loved meeting you to a little coffee and chatting"

"You stupid Fuck. GET OUT OF THERE"

"This is Archangel, ETA-10 seconds"

"VIGGO!"

"Archangel, Dropping ordinance"

The Bomb flew towards its target which was pinpointed by GPS preyer on the US base. Viggo looked over to the screen and saw that the missile launched. Rocked engines roaring and then... an Thump, and Black.

The Bomb hit the ground and embedded itself into the ground several meters deep and then exploded. The whole Silo and anything around it collapsed into itself. Buildings crashed just through the sheer force of the bomb, which caused earthquakes. Even Hiccup felt them.

"ABC-1 here Echo-13, do you copy?"

"ABC-1, here is Echo-13. Do you read me?"

Hiccup looked sad.

"Station, here Echo-13, we lost Contact to ABC-1. He is most likely KIA. Over out"

"Roger Echo-13. We send an search team out"

After days of Fighting after the Silo was destroyed the Berkian sweepers gave up. Their leader was dead and most of the Regular forces teamed up with the Berserks.

After weeks if searching, Viggo and his Squad's bodies where found and given a proper burial.

Stoick was installed back as President and he immediately started strengthening the ties to the Berserks.

God fucking damnit. It's over. Finally.

i'm fucking dead lol. I'm sorry cause this ending was kinds rushed but i think it still came out pretty decent.

And i want to apologize to the inconsistency of the Chapters.

I hope i see you next time. I have something else in my head. Maybe even have to abandon "The unknown Guest for it"
