The corridor turned out to be a maintenance closet, which also had Freddy's charging station: a cylindrical red tube with a lightning bolt on the door. Martin had deja vu when he saw the charging station, as it looked suspiciously like the blueprints from the Afton House, but he held his breath.

"I-it's pretty dark in there…" Gregory was worried about this place, and clung tightly to Alex.

"There is nothing to be scared of. You can do it." Freddy reassured Gregory. Martin pulled him up into the vents, followed by Alex, Clover, Sam, Marvin, and Diana trailing at the rear. "Awww! Java can't fit!" "Just wait with Freddy pal, we'll be back."

They were crawling when they heard a robotic feline voice. "Your performance was PERFECT tonight! Thank you! Your hair is beautiful! Your tail is beautiful! Everyone was watching you! Everyone loves you! Everyone wants to BE you! You are the best. Thank you. I am the best! I am the best." Martin whispered to everyone. "Someone sure is full of themselves." Alex whispered back. "She better not be related to Mandy." They saw the source of the voice: Roxanne Wolf. Now that they were not in a crowd, they got a good look at her: she was a gray colored wolf with long, gray hair with green highlights, and a skimpy red two piece and purple lipstick. The boys were diligently embarrassed, but pressed on. "Your fans are watching you right now! I know." Everyone freezes in baited breath, thinking they got caught. Thankfully, nothing happens, as it appears she was talking to herself in the mirror, proving that she has a case of vanity.

Continuing, they heard a commotion of banging, clanging, and growling. They couldn't see the room, other than green lights. It sounded like Montgomery Gator was upset about something, and decided to take it out on his own room. Judging by the sounds, Martin decided that if they come across him, they need to be careful.

Soon, they saw pink lights, and heard a ripping guitar solo! Looking in, Martin and co had to suppress grins at the sight of Chica pulling out her inner Eddie Van Halen. She was also quite feminine, and much slimmer than her old counterpart. This is accentuated by her pink leotard. She was also colored differently: white instead of yellow, and she also wore bangs.

Finally, they dropped onto the floor. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for visiting, and we hope you enjoyed the show! Freddy and co are pretty tired, but they'll be back again next week after a few days of scheduled maintenance. Please make your way to the front of the building, where we will be handing out novelty glasses, a voucher for one free soda refill, and where you will sign a legal disclaimer releasing us of all liability for anything that might have happened during your visit. Have an awesome night, and we will see you again soon!" The room was very museum-like, with old props and portraits from other Fazbear venues. Several maintenance robots were mopping floors. "This is actually pretty neat." Martin admitted. They eventually found Freddy's room, and Martin pulled out his photo pass he bought when he bought their vip and backstage passes and tickets. "Way to go superstars! I knew you could do it! I know how to get you out of here Gregory. Climb back into my chest cavity. There is still time, but we must hurry: if I am spotted, I will most certainly be taken back to my room. I will escort you to the main exit through the utility tunnels: It is the safest path." "Awesome! Haunted tunnels!" Martin and Alex were excited. "Of course you like creepy tunnels!" Diana pouted indignantly. "Okay, but you better be careful moving around. I don't wanna be crushed and twisted into a meat pretzel." He then climbed into Freddy, and the group entered into the tunnels.

As they descended down the stairs, Diana and Clover were freaked out by a robot crawling like a spider, and all the group could hear was "Meep!"

"Hello! Little boy! If you're down here, say something!" They all heard Vanessa calling for Gregory, confirming his story; for some inexplicable reason, she was looking for him specifically. "She's down here! We have to go back!" Gregory's voice was muffled through Freddy's body, but they can still hear him. "Do not worry, Gregory. Even if we are spotted you are safe with me. She would never suspect we are traveling together. However, we should still do our best to avoid her: if I am sent back to my room, we never get to the lobby before midnight." "If that happens, big guy, let us do the talking: we have the authority to assist you, and to get Gregory out of here. Besides, if anything, we can just say you are now Center property."

Entering another tunnel, Freddy suddenly paused.

"I feel you are broken." Every agent was sent on edge. "Don't worry about it. I'm fine."

"No. I feel that something is wrong. I am taking you to the first aid station." He then bolted to the nearest infirmary. "There's no time! I'm fine!"

After reaching an infirmary, Gregory then heard footsteps. Out of paranoia, he bolted into the first aid booth just in time to see Vanessa standing off against the agents, who positioned themselves between her and Freddy. "Freddy! You're supposed to be on lockdown!"

"Officer Vanessa! I do not know how I got here!"

"Well, you totally blew it tonight, you know. Your system crashed, and you ruined the show. Now Parts and Service have you on reduced power. They said it's a safety precaution." She shook her head in annoyance. "Just one more thing to deal with. Look. We're like 15 minutes from closing, and some kid is sneaking around backstage. If you see anything, notify me immediately. I already alerted the others. Now go back to your room." Martin decided to intervene. "Officer Vanessa. Rest assured, if we do see anyone that's not supposed to be here, we will let you know, but we have a job of our own: we have heard of some strange occurrences happening here in this very establishment. If that kid ends up harmed, we will hold you accountable." Vanessa was taken aback by how professional the blonde in the flame jacket was being. "You may be center agents, but I have a job as well, and that is make sure this building is clear. So you do your job, and I'll do mine. Are we understood?" "So long as it does not interfere with our job, yes. Noted." Alex noticed that Martin clearly did not like Vanessa right now. After she left, Gregory crawled out. "I told you all she was after me." "Now that we were practically touching noses, I gotta say: something about Vanessa just seems… wrong, and unnatural. I swear I even saw static when I looked her in the eyes." "Impossible. Static is electronic, not biological." "Then explain that strange aura you felt. It felt eerily similar to Afton."

Gregory looked between them, and then looked at Freddy, who shrugged. "I said nothing! I will keep you safe. Let us go." Martin and co nodded at that: one priority at a time.

The tunnels were still creepy, but also quite familiar at the same time. "Where are we?" Gregory asked.

"We now under the Pizzaplex. These utility tunnels connect all the attractions." Martin made a mental note to keep these tunnels in mind: they may connect all the attractions, but with how familiar they felt, he wondered if these tunnels were also built to hide something. 'What are you hiding, Afton?' Alex meanwhile was discussing how they can use these tunnels to their advantage in their case. Gregory however paid no mind. "We can go anywhere in the building?" "Correct! Fazerblast, Montygolf, Roxy Raceway, they are all accessible to staff. With high enough clearance of course. Guests, of course are not allowed down here, but uh, yours is a special situation." The agents however paid close attention to the mention of security clearance, realizing by looking at each other that they need to find security badges.

They started to ascend several stairs, and then Freddy suddendly stopped again, this time letting Gregory out, and was hunched over. "I'm terribly sorry. The recharge cycle had not yet completed when we found you. You must continue without me. I will guide you all from the fazwatch in case you get into any trouble." With that, he shuffled to a nearby charging pod. The others all gave him small smiles of encouragement when Gregory doubted he could do it alone, much less without Freddy in the group. Alex hoisted Gregory piggyback style, and they continued on. They were passing by a restroom, when they saw Chica rummaging through a trash bin. The fact she was filling her beak with the trash was disgusting. Martin then saw paint cans outside, and quietly knocked them over. She heard the commotion, and went to investigate.

After sneaking past Chica, the group ducked into another closet, and continued sneaking through the storage areas. They had entered into another maintenance hall, when all of a sudden, "THERE YOU ARE!" Montgomery Gator crashed through a fence: he was massive, almost seven feet tall, and covered in robot scales and muscle. He had a red Mohawk, star shaped sunglasses, purple shorts and shoulder pads, a tail, and razor sharp fangs and claws ready to kill them, and he was scarily fast for his size, as evidence by how he kept behind them when they ran.

After running up further, Chica appeared behind several crates, and was also deceptively fast even while walking. "Lost kids over here!"

The group desperately looked for a place to hide. They ran up more stairs, and finally found the perfect place: a security office! They ducked in, and closed the doors, but also noticed they had very little power, and Gator was pounding on the door, which began to show dents. Everyone was so on edge, that they jumped when Freddy's voice echoed on the Fazwatch. "Well done everyone, you found a security office! You should be quite safe there. The doors were designed to keep our highly trained security staff safe in the event of an emergency - as long as the doors stay closed, which they will, as long as there is ample power." "Freddy, you idiot! The power is only at 15%, and their pounding in the door! You call this safe?! How do we get out of where without becoming mince meat?!" "Do not panic! You should see an interface on the security desk. Hold on while I make it accessible to all of you." The desk in question had a monitor not online those from the other locations, and a small Freddy head wearing a security hat. "There! You can activate security protocols." A series of beeps. "You are all connected to the security camera system. Check the map on your watches."

Martin pulled up a holographic map of the complex, and saw a series of boxes and cones. "Those boxes on your minimap are security cameras. When movement is detected on your cameras motion sensors, you should see red alert icons." Martin and co saw a series red exclamation points. "Use the cameras to find a safe path out of the office and to the main lobby." Switching cameras, Martin pathed out a safe route for everyone.

Silently exiting, they turned a series of corners, and made it to the lobby, but also found they were too late. That was evident when the intercom boomed. "Freddy Fazbear's Megapizzaplex is now closed. Initiating nighttime protocols." Then there was the sound of the gates being slammed shut. Gregory suddenly panicked and dashed to the doors. "Gregory, wait!" "No! No! Wait! I'm still here!" When the gate finally shut, everyone was trapped. Alex pulled Gregory in for a hug. "Now what am I supposed to do?" Alex simply held him. "You have us. We'll figure it out, Greg'."

Freddy sounded again, clearly remorseful for Gregory's situation. Martin made a mental note to thank his instincts for trusting this particular animatronic. "How unfortunate Gregory. You missed you chance, but there is still hope! You should be able to escape when the security doors reopen at 6:00am." Gregory looked hopeful, but Martin, Alex and co just groaned. "Why 6:00 again?!" "Oh come on, we did it before. You can handle it like a grown man." "Says the girl who at times acts like they're 12?" Alex quipped.

"Until then, keep moving, and try not to draw attention to yourselves, and that means you Martin and Diana. Gregory, if there is another wait, I will help you find it. I promise."
