Chapter 2: The love we have

Half an hour later. Boonchuy's Residence

The trio arrived at Boonchuy's residence. They all walked up to the front porch. Anne then knocked on the door.

They heard footsteps from inside. The door was getting unlocked from the inside. Next thing is the door had just opened. Standing behind the door is Mrs. Boonchuy. She was already prepared to see the girls again since the trio let them know after the invasion of L.A.

"It's good to see you three." Mrs. Boonchuy said.

Mrs. Boonchuy then hugged Anne and Sasha followed by Waybright's parents, Michael and Betty, as well.

"Hey mom! And Dad?!," Sasha said, "You're both here?!" Sasha went up to them and hugged her parents.

"Yes," Betty said, "we're here, sweetheart!"

"And we're glad you're here," Michael said, "safe and sound!" They then turned to Anne.

"Thanks for bringing our daughter back, Anne!", both Betty and Michael said.

"No problem, Mr. and Mrs. Waybright," said Anne.

Marcy then felt happy to see Anne and Sasha reunited with their family after being apart for seven months. Marcy then looks away and decides to leave, knowing she felt guilty for her actions. Anne looked back at Marcy as she began to walk away, knowing that Marcy is still feeling guilty after everything. Anne was about to reach Marcy when the voice came out.

"Marcy?" Unknown voices said.

She hears it like she knows the voices. She looks back at the door. Then just behind Mrs. Boonchuy, two individuals stand beside her. It was Marcy's parents, James and Kiki Wu. They were waiting for her.

Marcy looks at them in shock as if she hasn't seen them for at least a decade.

"Mom? Dad?" Marcy wondered.

Yet, she feels a mixture. On one hand, she knows she's in big trouble after running away from them. On the other hand, she was glad to see them after months.

However, Mr. and Mrs. Wu. seeing their daughter after months brought them in shock, though she was gone forever. They were so proud with their face showing their love for Marcy as like they really do care for her for years. They expanded their arms, indicating they are so happy to welcome her home.

"Marcy, our baby!", Kiki said.

"Come here!" James said as well.

Marcy then feels emotional damage after seeing their parents with so much joy that she cried and ran towards her parents. As she approached, she then tripped halfway by the rock step like a sidepad to the door. She then got up and resumed to approach her parents and hugged them so much like a real hugger.

"You're both here! I thought you left me and were mad at me," Marcy said with a tearful tone, "I'm sorry that I denied your decision to move.. I'm sorry!" She continued to cry as the parents still hugged her.

"Honey, we're not mad at you," Kiki said, "but we were scared to hear of your disappearance. We thought we lost you."

"We even searched every place like you always went," James said, "like the library, the school, even at your friend's family. However, we discovered that they were missing too. We were all worried sick for you that I have to hold my new job until I find you. We even ask the Boonchuy and Waybright to to help each other to find you. As months passed, we were about to give up the search until we received the letter, thanks to certain friend of yours and we saw the news of this invasion and the boonchuys call us in."

James and Kiki looked towards Anne, who wrote them and the Waybrights a letter during christmas. Marcy was shocked to realize that Anne still cared for her and Sasha even while she was on earth, due to her active portal back home prior to being stabbed by Andrias while back.

Marcy's heart was beating nearly doubled as she stares at Anne. James and Kiki noticed this as did Sasha, Boonchuys and Waybright.

"Hey, we'll be inside, Marcy. We just need to talk with Bee and Olm," James said. As the parents begin to walk back inside of Boonchuy's house along with Sasha, who had her back hurted from the invasion, went inside for an ice-pack, The duo stayed outside on the porch, sat on it.

"You send them the letters?" Marcy asked Anne in a concerned tone.

"Of course, Marcy," Anne replied, "You didn't think I was gonna leave you behind, did you? I spend my time here to find a way back to amphibia to save you, Sasha, return the plantiers and save their world because I care for everyone, even you."

"Even when I was trapped mentally inside of this Core?" Marcy asked.

"Yes, even that Core," Anne said, "and after everything, I want to make it up to you because I know me and Sasha ignored everything you were interested in."

"I appreciate it, Anne," Marcy said, "but it's okay you guys don't always have to listen to my interest. What I really appreciate is you and Sasha being friends with me. That's all that matters to me."

They then looked at the sky for a moment or two as they saw the night as it shines like the calamity stones bright as stars. The night was magnificent.

Marcy then felt something familiar inside of her heart as it was pulsing slowly. She got this strange feeling, something odd, like she had this feeling for a long time. It's something she wanted to ask Anne. She looked over at Anne as she still gaze at the sky where her eyes glow like pink diamonds. Marcy was stoked and blushed to see Anne like never seen before. She was nervous, yet her heart was pulsing twice the normal size. She wants to hold it in, but she wants to ask Anne. She tried to hide herself in, but she couldn't resist. So, she took a gut and began to speak.

"Anne-banana?," Marcy asked.

"Yes, Mar-mar? Anne replied.

"Did you do all this because…." Marcy said, but took a deep breath, "...you had a thing for me?"

Anne was shocked to hear what Marcy stated.

"Hehe, what an odd question, Marcy" Anne said, "did you have a thing for me?"

"To be honest, I did." Marcy replied, "It had been a long time since we first met when everyone walked away from me."

Anne instantly hears what Marcy has to say as Marcy speaks.

"It's just everytime I share my interest with someone," Marcy added as she ran into her fantasy of her confession, "they always find a way to excuse themselves from me, just going away from me. And then one day, you came to my life when I was alone. I never thought I would ever meet someone who doesn't leave me or run away. You were so nice to me, so beautiful in that suit you wore when you invited me to your parent's party and just seeing you makes me feel something that is non-stop happiness in my heart." Marcy then returned to reality mentally, and noticed that Anne heard everything, embarrassed.

"Oops, sorry," Marcy said, "I guess I went over again. Now, I just didn't think that you had the same feeling for me. I just thought you would rather date someone who isn't me, someone lovable, someone who cares about you." Anne instantly began to speak to her.

"Well, let me be honest as well," Anne said, "I have had a crush on you since we first met." Marcy was surprised, as if she was interested to hear more.

"It's just that I never had someone to look after," Anne said, "The day we met, I thought you were so cool to know all this information. You were so smart while I wasn't, but I did think about you almost everyday, during class, rescue, lunchtime, and after school. I also didn't know how you were gonna react to me when I told you this because we were little kids back then. And now after amphibia and all, I…(she was nervous to speak more, then took a breath before speaking.)...love you, like really in love with you." She blushes as she confesses to Marcy.

The moment was silent.

Marcy was shocked to hear what Anne said. Her words begin to filling her heart of joy so much that she felt something in her heart as it was pulsing fast It's like all of her hobbies and obsessions she geeked out had been squeezed to make a hole, added a new space in her heart, only it was made a special place that sparks this one thing only: the romance space. It's almost like it had been abandoned for a while like a house with spider-webs on each corner until today where it's like it was cleaned up for this moment. And inside of the space was the image as it was distorted for ages and was revived like a fire burning in reverse, only to show Marcy's main crush, Anne Boonchuy.

Marcy was so much with love and joy mixed together that she blushing bigger and she hugged Anne tight like how a mother holds their daughter with a hug.

"Thank you, Anne!" Marcy said in a more joyful tone as if she was happy for the first time, "I really like you a lot as well!" Anne was blushed as well, yet she was happy to see Marcy's joyful face and she hugged her back. Marcy was so overwhelmed that she then kissed Anne on the cheeks.

Both stare at each other, and both blushed as if they realized that their love had come true like a happy ending. Anne then smiles at her. She then leaned towards Marcy as she reached her right hand towards Marcy's cute face. She closes her eyes as her lips begin to lean toward Marcy's target area: the lips.

As she closed by, Marcy's eyes slowly expanded from small eyes to big eyes. As her head was pulled towards Anne by her hand, Anne's lip had touched Marcy's, therefore Anne shared the kiss at Marcy like two fireworks just shoot out to the sky in the shape of a heart. Marcy was shocked as she was kissed, froze, but later feeling happy that she closed her eyes as well, kissing Anne back. They each wrapped their arms around each other, holding themselves together.

The kiss was for about half a minute. They then released each other with their heads leaned on their forehead, becoming the new lovers.

"I love you, Marcy Wu" Anne said as she had been waiting for a moment like this for a while.

"I love you too, Anne Boonchuy," Marcy said back to Anne.

Suddenly, they see this flash, almost as if someone had witnessed a flash from the meteor coming from the inside of the house. They then see where it came from; it was from the window. Sasha took a picture of them together, along with the parents as well. They were standing by the window as if they knew Anne and Marcy would be happy together, feeling happy and cheerful to see them, like they have won the battle of love.

Anne and Marcy were embarrassed by this, even though they didn't care for a second.

"I guess we're dating, huh?" Marcy asked.

"Yep, and I'm glad you are my new chapter." Anne said. They both stare at the sky to look at the stars that shine bright like they just begin their new adventure; being together as one.
