Total Drama Enchanted

Audition Tapes

Ginger, the Friendly Housekeeper

She was sweeping the floor of a long green-walled hallway with various pictures hung while she hummed a tune. In the middle of the hallway, she looks up at the camera. "Hi! I'm Ginger! And I'd be grateful if you let me be a part of the new season of Total Drama! I've seen that is a place where you can make new friends, and I love making new friends!"

The scene cuts to a dishwasher, where she was… well, washing the dishes, while a pie could be seen cooking in the oven in the background. "I'm friends with everyone in town, but Miss Shirley tells me that I need to make friends my age and broaden my horizons... or something like that. And I thought it would be fun to sign up for a reality show where I can earn money and make friends along the way!"

Now she was ironing the clothes, "I wouldn't say I'm an expert with various crazy skills. I'm just very good at cleaning, sweeping, ironing, cooking, mopping, etc. I like order and cleanliness, I'm obedient and organized, and of course, I love making new friends!"

And now she was painting a fence white, "I get along with everyone in the area! I even make a lot of money from my 37 part-time jobs. I always lend a helping hand to someone in need without judgment and say Yes to everything, because I know that if I lead by example, one day they will also lend a hand to those who need it too, thus creating a better world! As I always say: Helping is a pleasure".

And for the end, she was cleaning a shelf full of porcelain figurines with a feather duster, "In short, I'm asking you to please, please, pleaaase accept me. But if you don't, I'll totally understand. My only wish will be to fulfill Miss Shirley's wishes! I owe everything to her!"

"GINGER!" the voice of an older woman, presumably Miss Shirley, calls out to her, "AM I SMELLING SMOKE?!"

"OH MY GOD! I LEFT THE PIE IN THE OVEN!" she gasped in horror, "I have to run! You guys would make me the year if you selected me! Bye!" she breaks into a run as the camera cuts out.

Otis, the Gear Expert

"Are you recording yet, Chiara?"

"Got it, big brother!"

"Okay then" he was sitting on some tires in a repair shop. "My name is Otis."

"And I'm Chiara!" a hand waved in front of the camera, smaller with the same skin tone as him.

"Yes, they see you, sis" Otis said with amusement, before continuing: "They say that for this I have to introduce myself and explain why they should choose me. Well, as you can see I'm quite strong" he flexes one arm to show his muscles, "I have a good handle with all kinds of tools" he shows his bag full of said objects slung over his shoulder, "And the most important thing: I have my feet on the ground. I have seen that lately they include several lunatics and insane in the contest, but I won't let that get in my way. The million dollars could really come in handy. With it, Mom can finally take a break, she always comes home all exhausted."

"And what about your fear of the ocean? Isn't the contest going to be on an island?"

"I know, but I'm not going to let myself be beaten by it. I'm determined to win this contest, and if I have to swim across the ocean, then so be it."

"Well said, big bro!"

"So yeah, as you'll see, I'm the complete package. If you want a competitor that's strong, skilled, and determined to win, then I'm the best choice."

"Oh, I can't wait to see Mom and Uncle Frank's reaction when they see you on TV!"

"Don't get excited so soon, sis. We didn't even send out the audition."

"Oh oh! How about you get to meet a guy out there that you like?"

"Chiara, just because I came out doesn't mean I'm going to pursue any guy I come across. Besides, relationships in the midst of competition only bring trouble. I'll make sure to avoid them at all costs and focus my mind on the big prize."

"Aww, it would have been great to finally find someone, bro."

"Maybe someday, but not today or at the contest. You recorded everything, right?"

"I have it right here!"

"Excellent, thanks. Now I have to get back to work. I don't want to give my boss a reason to take my salary" he takes the camera and turns it off.

Clover, the Secret Agent

In a presentation room was a blank wooden board. She appears soon after and proceeds to formally introduce herself: "Agent Clover Jones, at your services! Elite member of the FPT, and the youngest ever to have risen to that position!" she presents her name card, "Master of many hand-to-hand combat techniques" she performs some fluid fighting moves, "And with many gadgets on hand for all sorts of missions" she shows off her arsenal, which includes a grappling gun, a lipstick that is actually a stun gun, her goggles with different types of vision attached, her handbag that turns into a hang glider, and two fighting sticks that can be combined into a long fighting staff.

"But enough about me! There are more important matters to attend to!" she said then, directing attention to the board. She flips it over, revealing on the other side all sorts of notes and photos tacked together and a yellow string connecting all the dots to the center where she hung a wide photo of Pahkitew Island. "I've been doing a lot of research. A lot of out of place, dare I call it, paranormal has been going on lately, and it all seems to be heading towards Pahkitew Island, the island where a new season of Total Drama will be filmed. I don't want to sound paranoid, but everything indicates that said island will become the center of a great disaster".

"That's why I'm doing this audition. If you choose me, I can take a closer look at these phenomena and make sure they can't cause any harm," she clarified, before taking a more timid attitude as she continued speaking, "That and because they told me that I need a vacation. I've been told that I need to take a breather and put conspiracy theories aside for a while. That I overthink things and am too paranoid and obsessed. I really don't know what they're talking about, I'm just very dedicated to the overall mission of our Agency. They saved me and I just return the favor."

She shakes her head, "Focus Clover! You're rambling again!" She slaps herself before continuing, "Yes, that's my plan. I'll use my vacation to complete this mission. With my abilities, I can take on anything and anyone. Once the mission is complete, I'll dedicate my efforts to win the contest and go home with a million dollars as a reward," he declared confidently.

Nigel, the Professional Scammer

"Thanks for your purchase!" he waved another guy while he was counting his money. He was at the subway station with a box full of movies to sell, watching the passersby around. "My name is Nigel. And as you can see, I'm a successful man. A master salesman that make a lot of easy money. But the truth is that I'm a master con man, a liar who will do anything for money, like cheat to the naive to buy my pirated movies".

"Excuse me, young man" calls him a lady passing by. "What did you say about pirated movies?"

"I meant I sell pirate movies too! Buy one for the price of two!- I mean, buy three and get 10% off the third!" he makes three films of the same theme. "You can get this trilogy at a nice discount!"

"Oh well, I never say no to a discount" the lady easily fell into the trap by handing over her money.

Left alone, Nigel looks at the camera with a pleased smile. "There are dumb people in the world, and that contest is no exception. Each cast has always had one or another airhead that swallows any hoax they are given. Well, I plan to take advantage of that and squeeze all the juice I can out of them until leave them dry. Lying and cheating is my thing, and it will be my weapon to survive in that contest".

"Hey, son. Don't you happen to have the Star Wars 4 movie?" asked another passerby passing by.

"Of course, sir! I have it right here!" he pulls said film out of the box, "It's 60 bucks."

"What?! Why does it cost so much?"

"I can assure you, sir, that the price is worth it. This is the extended version, of the highest quality, uncensored, and even contains deleted scenes that did not appear on the screen."

"Are you serious?"

"Sir, I don't gain anything by lying to you. Although I suggest you decide quickly, because there have already been people asking about this record."

"Mmm…okay. I'll buy it."

"Excellent decision, sir!" he smiles as he hands over the record and receives the money. "A pleasure doing business with you!" Once alone again, he continues, "See what I'm saying? I don't gain anything from lying to the guy, but I love doing it! That's why I say that competition is made for me. If you want drama, I'll get you drama. Just pick me, I assure you that you will not regret it."

"HEY!" a couple of angry cops call out to him. "WE TOLD YOU YOU COULDN'T COME BACK HERE!"

"Well, looks like my time is up! Time to go!" he takes his things and runs away. "See ya snails!"

"GET BACK HERE!"

Agatha, the Battle Beast

She was lying on the edge of an ice-covered pond, in the middle of the snow and a strong blizzard, completely naked and unfazed by the extreme cold. "I've lived here all my life, of course I have to adapt. In places like this, only the strongest survive, and I must be the strongest. My father wasn't going to raise a puny stick that falls at the first breeze."

She sinks deeper into the frozen water until only her head is out of it. "My reason for wanting to compete on Total Drama is simple: Show the whole world that I, Agatha, am the biggest and strongest. On that show I only see sticks with arms of noodles or barrels of butter, all weak and fragile, with one exception or another. It's just embarrassing! I will win that contest to honor my family, Mother Russia, but most of all, me."

She rises a bit so that her shoulders are out of the water as she crosses her arms. "I've noticed that each new roster is always stronger than the last. That gives me hope that I'll face subjects on par. And I also hope that I don't have to carry my entire team through the competition. If they can't keep up with me, that means they don't have what it takes to survive."

She snorts angrily as she climbs out of the pond, her hair long and the blizzard covering her private parts, "Really, the last straw would be for some wretch to stoop to cheating just to win me over. One thing I don't tolerate is cheaters, having to using tricks instead of developing real skills. If you can't do it on your own merits, then it's not a real victory! I promise you this, that I will win this contest, and I will win this contest with all the skills and experience I have gained in my life".

She stands in front of a rock as big as her, and gives it a powerful headbutt, smashing it to pieces, before crossing her arms painlessly.

Julien, the Scoundrel Prankster

He was drinking from a bottle as he posed on a street light pole in the middle of the night. "I'm waiting on a client, so we'll make this quick, okay? I'm Julien, and I'm a star around this area. Lots of people always stop to get a slice of me, and I get a lot of bills in return. I even get an extra guarantee for… special treatment, hehehe."

He watches some cars go by as he takes another sip. "But lately I've been losing my touch. My tank needs a vacation before I go back to fishing. Earning that million will finally give me a chance to get a break without my boss making me stand here every cold night until who knows what time." I'll also finally be able to pay the rent on my apartment, or in any case I can buy a better place to live. My neighbors are always making noise and banging the bed all night. I'd laugh about it any day, but not when it ruins my beauty sleep" he takes another sip from his bottle.

Then he smirks, "But stop thinking about the bad, let's get to the good of casting me on your show. You want ratings, I can give you that. How? Well, because I have a great personality, I'm very popular, and I better: I'm good at causing controversy and disasters. Lately people are very sensitive about what they should show on TV, and I'm very good at exasperating people. I also like to cause trouble and set things on fire, so I always carry these babies with me" he pulls dynamite out of his pants, "When I don't like something, I just blow it up. That's how I teach these idiots not to mess with me. I'm what they call a scoundrel, I'm not afraid of what people say about me. They're just whiners who can't take a miserable little joke."

A car horn sounds at the corner. "Oh, my client has arrived! I have to go. You can find my number without problems, they use it a lot around here. Let's see if they ask me, or even keep it to ask me for... other favors, hehehehe" he goes to attend the call. "Hi, baby! You took your- Huh? What is this? Oh, sorry, for ladies I charge extra."

Karen, the Enchantress

A runway was lit up with lights as music blared through the room ready for a fashion show. The reflectors point towards the curtains that part, revealing the only one who will pose in the night. She wore a long, floor-length red dress that parted from the waist and revealed a bit of her chest as she stretched out the back and sides like wings to her knees and covered her elbows like a cloak.

The music intensifies as she begins her parade. While she was walking and showing her dress, a flash covers the whole image. When it leaves, she was wearing another dress, now it was a black leather jacket with shoulder pads and a long collar, and tight gold pants with black lines, as well as gloves and black heeled boots. There was another flash and she was now wearing a chiffon dress with a snakeskin print that includes feathers at the neck and bottom. A few more flashes and other clothes to show off, until she finally lingers on her favorite sequined purple dress and white pumps.

"Yes, I know, I'm beautiful" she said as she sat down in front of the catwalk. "All those dresses that you saw, I made them with my own hands. I know you could say that I am an expert in fashion. And it's not just the dresses, it also matters who wears them and how they wear them. It doesn't matter what clothes I wear, it always I look like a supermodel. I'm a natural at it. I mean, even in prison clothes I look amazing. A lot of girls wonder if they can be as pretty as me, and what do I tell them? They never will be, but they don't lose nothing to try. The most beautiful people always receive more praise and privilege, and I never miss an opportunity."

"And that's why I'm going to sign up for Total Drama. I've seen the show and I always see how the most beautiful contestants get more advantages. I want that too" she smirks. "Of course, I don't just have my exterior. My interior also deserves recognition. Those who truly know me say that I am like a snake, I coil my victims in my constricting grip, mesmerize them with my charms, and devour them in one gulp. Well, let me tell you… you're absolutely right! I plan to use those skills to survive the contest, and I'll crush each contestant one by one until only one is left standing: Me! None of those idiots will know what bit them!"

She finishes her presentation and turns off the camera, or so she inadvertently believes that she pushed the wrong button and kept recording what she had to say next.

"Okay, here's the audition you've been asking for so much" she was speaking to someone in a corner.

"Excellent, dear! Chris is going to love this. He always had an appreciation for the more sinister types" said a familiar distorted voice that hid her true identity.

"I don't want to be on that trashy show. All my clothes are going to be ruined on that island, and I don't want to deal with the animals or whatever wacko they decide to include. All of it to fulfill your ridiculous nonsense and please some crazy psycho."

"Don't worry about those things. With the advantages they will give you, victory will be a piece of cake. Oh, and I recommend that you watch your language, I remind you again that I got you out of prison, and I can return you there anytime."

She spits in disdain as she heard a door slam, indicating that the other guy of hers had gone. "This is so ridiculous… At least I can vent to those idiot contestants. Stress and wrinkles don't do a woman any good."

Raymond, the Fearless Stuntman

"Get ready Ray! In five we hit the drop zone!"

"Thanks Oscar!" he thanked the pilot, having to shout to be heard over the noise of the plane, before looking at the camera. "This is Raymond, about to break my record from last week! My stunt today is to fall down a mountain and swing down its narrow, rocky slope until I slide down a raging river while dodging all sorts of trees, all the way to the base without damage!"

"Aren't you afraid of hurting yourself, buddy?! That all sounds like suicide! I heard there are bears around here!"

"You know me, pal! I live for action and adrenaline! My middle name is 'Danger'!" he smiled as he put on his parachute. "And that's why I want to be on that show! I always see the contestants spend every episode betting on their lives, and I've been told that the challenges are extreme braving torture! Is that true? Well, I'll be the judge of that! That's why I want to participate in Total Drama! I enjoy the risks! I make sure to live each day as if it were the last!"

"I assure you, people! We have the proof of it! Every note from all the hospitals he visited!"

"Ha-ha, very funny, dude! That's why I challenge you, the producers of the show, to give me a challenge that will test my bravery! I want to see if that show really is as devious as they always make it out to be!"

"Bravery?! More like insanity with no sense of self-preservation!"

"You keep driving this jalopy! I know what I'm doing! Just watch me!" he gets into position to jump as the door swings open letting the wind in. "It's time to jump in! If you want a competitor who is not afraid of anything and who is willing to face anything, I'm the perfect choice! Don't wish me luck, I'm an expert! I have done hundreds of times and counting! Bye!" he finally jumps up, letting out a yell of "COWABUNGA!"

Maggie, the Western Cowgirl

"Alright herd, time to go back to the pen!" she commanded, leading the flock of sheep toward said pen. Beside her, a German shepherd dog also helped guide the herd. "I'm Margaret Winchester, but to friends I'm Maggie" the dog next to her barked for attention, "And this good boy is our sheepdog Dante."

When the last sheep comes in, she closes the pen. "I have lived all my life on the farm, and I can only say that life is not easy. There is always something to do here, like milking the cows, collecting the eggs from the chickens, shearing the sheep, bathing the pigs , feed all the cattle, clean the pens, and all that just in the barn. In the house we also have to take care of all the bills and we always have to fix any leaks or broken pipes. And further towards the field we have to take care of the apple trees and ensure that they reach maturity."

"That's all in my family: Being able to do everything by themselves without having to ask anyone for help. I can handle myself around here perfectly" she explained as she walked back to her house with the dog by her side. She sits in front of the door and takes a bottle of apple juice from a box. "We also have a business, we sell this fresh apple juice for the markets, but lately they are not selling enough. That's why I want to compete in your show, to earn the money and avoid the crisis. An annoying and persistent buyer wants tear down the farm to build a spa and line his pockets with money."

"This farm has been in my family for generations, and I'm not going to let those rich guys in suits who think they own everything get away with it. If I win that million, we'll not only get rid of them forever, but that it will also serve us to help expand our business and improve our lives. I know I have what it takes to go far in that contest, and I will not let anyone or anything get in my way" she declared with determination.

Felix, the Business Tycoon

He was sitting upright behind a fancy desk with his hands folded and one leg over the other. Behind him were several shelves filled with books and valuables, as well as a display case filled with awards. "Good afternoon, producers of Total Drama. My name is Felix Killjoy, and I want to participate in your show. Or in any case, they force me to do this audition, and we will see if they choose me. My parents have told me that I spend too much time cooped up in here and that I need to get a 'social life'. That I need to go out more, interact with more people, stuff like that. At first I didn't mind it, as I don't see why I would need friends. I have everything I need here, and always I strive to be the best at everything I do."

He frowns and crosses his arms, "However, after that, I've heard all of our servants muttering about how I don't have the courage to step foot on grass that isn't artificial. That I'm too used to fancy life to ever think about sleeping in a cabin or swimming in the lake or just living out in the open. I wasn't going to stand for lies like that being spread. That motivated me to audition. That show is going to take place on an island, right? Then I'll go in there, put up with all that wildlife and the other contestants that show up, and come home with the million dollars."

He smiles as he gets up and walks to the cabinet. "I'm sure you guys think that because I'm the 'typical rich kid' I can't stand on my own and I don't have a chance to win. Well let me tell you, you're underestimating me," he points to some of the trophies and medals behind the glass, "All these awards are mine, and I won them in different sports. Fencing, swimming, archery, cycling, among many others. All this is proof of my great physical ability. And that's not it!"

He walks over to the shelf and picks up a specific book. "I already took a look at the program and I could see that it is plagued with injustices. Alteration of votes, cheating, sabotage, all of that being allowed by the host with the sole intention of generating drama. Well, I'm not going to let them take me out for some technicality. That's why I got this book, which contains all the rules of Total Drama. The funniest thing about these things is when you find a loophole to exploit. With this rulebook in hand, I have everything under control."

Suddenly there is a knock at the door, and a voice calling him, "Master Frederick, dinner is ready."

"Ugh, Sebastian! How many times have I told you to call me by my new name!?"

"My apologies, but your parents ordered me to call you by your real name. Until you legally change it, I will continue to call you Frederick."

He huffed unhappily. "I always hated that name. Everyone at school made fun of me, calling me Fred or Freddy… Anyway, I hope you consider me for your show. I'm pretty much the complete package, I have everything it takes to survive. Thanks for your attention."

Rita, the Mad Scientist

"…and at the end a couple of drops to stabilize the formula" she pours two drops from a syringe into a flask filled with bubbling formula to achieve said effect. "My mother has dedicated her entire life to experimentation and technological advancement. As her daughter, it is my duty to carry on that legacy and bring my own advancements in technology. My reason for wanting to compete in that contest is not for money at all. It's more out of curiosity than anything else."

She pours some of the mixture into a test tube and takes it to a centrifuge. "At first I had no interest in this show for hormonal teens, but in recent seasons they've introduced elements that really caught my eye, like the mutated animals and robots, that completely artificial island, the aliens, and even those creatures from legends. I want to know all of it, I want to experiment with all of it, I want to capture these mutants and dissect them, I want to open these robots and check their parts to see how advanced they are, and I want to know every last detail of this artificial island and how it works."

The centrifuge shuts off and she retrieves the test tube with the color-changed formula, as she pulls out a metal tray with a frog attached to it. "I know that this show favors those who create drama and conflict and see no reason to select me. In that case, let me tell you that my mother is a very powerful and well-connected person. With her on your side, I can promise you many benefits. I've seen Chris McLean's obvious greed and his blatant way of being so easily bribed. I'm sure he'll take me into the contest for a large sum of money."

She fills a syringe with the formula and prepares for the experiment. "Well, that would be all from me. I await your response. Until then, enjoy my most recent experiment" she proceeds to inject the formula into the frog, who after a few seconds without reaction, begins to croak in agony and convulse for a while until its eyes go black and its skin and organs melt into the tray, exposing its skeleton.

From her part, she doesn't seem upset at all. She just smiles and pulls out a blog of notes. "I was always curious as to what reaction mixing the leftovers of different rejected formulas would cause. The experiment has been a complete success!"

Hunter, the Outlaw Bounty Hunter

He was hiding in a bush in the middle of a forest, with a hunting rifle in hand and watching for his next prey. "Hunter here, in the middle of my morning hunt. A practice I do so I don't rust. My family can be considered pretty infamous, with my dad being a prison hitman, and my mom working animal control and known to show no mercy to them. Even with all that, I really love them and they taught me everything I know. I'm an expert in survival, weapons handling, hand-to-hand combat, flora and fauna."

He picks up a rock and hurls it hard into a tree, making noise and disturbing a flock of birds that fly everywhere.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Three shots and three birds fall to the ground. He smiles as he goes to retrieve them. "Hunting has always been my favorite activity. Not only do I bring lunch home and can sell this meat, but it's also good exercise. I train my eye, ears, and even my nose, as well as practice camouflage and environment."

SLASH! CRACK!

In the background a trap is heard being activated. He goes and finds a butchered rabbit in a bear trap. "It's what happens when you don't take notice of your surroundings. And it's what those Total Drama contestants get when they include me. I watched the entire series, and I can only say that it doesn't seem like much. Those 'deadly' challenges aren't scary at all, and there's nothing impressive about that robotic island. Anyway, it's a free reward. I'm at the top of the food chain, and that show is my chance to prove it. That million dollars is just a guarantee."

He reloads his rifle when he hears something moving nearby. "If you're looking for an imposing competitor who never shows mercy and will do whatever it takes to win, I'm your man. Good thing I got a business card. On my social media you can find my number, as well as photos of all my kills. And let's add one more to the collection."

BANG!

"AHH! MY LEG! MY LEEEEG!"

"Crap, not again. It's the third time in a month" he muttered in frustration, before grabbing his things and fleeing the area. "Why do they always show up to interrupt my hunt? They distract me and always get in the way. I can't receive another demand, I haven't paid the last one yet."

Erika, the Robot with a Heart

"Greetings, my assigned name is Erika Stein, and I am recording this audition to carry out a special mission assigned to me by my parental units: Adapt and learn about the exterior on my own" she said from her room that looks like a robotics laboratory, with a metal table with various mechanical arms protruding from the ceiling, a desk full of mechanical parts, various plans attached to the wall with models of the girl, among other scientific things. "They have told me that it is okay for the judges to know the truth if they want to let me participate, so I will tell them my true identity. My design number is 3R1K4, and I'm known as an android, an artificial human. I was created by my parental units, Rebecca and Herbert Stein, with the purpose of creating a machine capable of projecting human feelings and being able to have the child they cannot conceive."

"I was designed to be able to adapt and learn from my environment and to evolve with the world. I have the ability to run at 200 km/h and lift up to 100 tons. I'm always keeping everything I see in my mind, similar to what they described as 'photographic memory'. I'm completely waterproof and I have a security system ready to activate in case of an attack on my person, but personally I'm not happy with that system. I'm what they call a 'pacifist', I was taught to never inflict harm on any living being."

"Going back to the main topic, they gave me the task of learning about human behavior in an isolated environment. That's why Total Drama is a perfect opportunity. The contest will take place on an island isolated from the world, and the pressure of the contest will put all the other campers on their toes. I'll be there to watch and learn about all those points of view. And along the way I have the opportunity to win a large sum of money to help my parent units in future updates" she shifted in her seat excitedly. "That would be all. Thank you very much for your attention."

Yoshi, the Martial Arts Master

He was meditating, holding himself a few inches in the air with just his index fingers, on a rug in his Japanese-themed room. "Good afternoon, my name is Yoshio Yamamoto, but you can call me Yoshi. I have trained in many types of martial arts in different countries, all thanks to my Master Junjie, who took me to various dojos around the world. My reason for doing this audition is for my dad. He's always been a bit tightfisted and insisted that I go on the show to win the million dollars, ensuring that my skills will see me go far in the contest."

He changes his position, now he was standing on his head with his legs stretched up and still holding onto his toes. "I'm not a fan of being on TV, but my dad has always supported me in all my goals, as well as always supporting me in all tournaments. Therefore, I am willing to give this contest a try."

"That money could help me a lot too. Not only to remodel dad's restaurant, but also my master's dojo. That place is as old as he is. And although he taught me the value of minimalism and to respect ancient cultures, I feel like it wouldn't hurt to at least offer him a chance at redoing… Or in any case, the money would encourage me to buy all the stickers I need to finally complete my collection. Dad makes fun of me about it and calls me a nerd, but he just doesn't understand the value of those cards."

He chuckles a bit as he somersaults in the air to come back to his feet. "I really love him, but there were some limits on this deal. My dad wanted to force me to wear a T-shirt with the restaurant's logo in the contest for publicity, but that's too much to ask. I just hope he doesn't ask me to deal discount coupons, that would be embarrassing. He should be thankful that I'm at least doing this audition." He respectfully bows to the camera as he says, "Thank you for your attention."

Bianca, the Mess in Social Networks

"What's up, pretty people? This is Bianca, eager to compete in Total Drama for three simple reasons!" she greeted, recording from a monitor in her room with a small bed, a toy box under it, a small blackboard and diploma hanging on the wall, and a small display case with trophies and a graduation photo. "I'm not much of going out often, I usually stay at home with my social networks. Of course, one of my channels is about to reach a million subscribers! I have several channels where I usually do criticism, video reactions, gameplays, podcasts, and editing video tutorials. It's my hobby, and I make some money. All that at the cost of a social life away from home. Everyone I talk to is always online or in a chat room, never in person. That's the number one reason I want to compete so I can get out of my comfort zone and make new friends without using a screen."

Noises interrupt the video from another room, making her sigh. "Wait a second" she slams a wall hard as she yells, "Hey, turn it down! I'm recording an audition here!"

"Sorry sis, we're playing wrestling! Wanna join in?!"

"Mmm…later! I'll finish this video first!" she replied before returning to the video. "Sorry about that, that's what you get when you're the only woman in a man's house: Zero peace and quiet. I live with my five brothers, two older and three younger, and my dad. My mom is the one who goes out to work while dad stays to tend to the house. Since I'm the only girl, I have my own room while they have to share. There's the second reason, a chance to have a break from them. Don't get me wrong, I love them and so do they, but they can get really annoying and nosy. That's why every one of my channels has a different password, and also why I can't make many friends, because all the people I bring into the house, they end up scaring them away."

"And speaking of social media, my third reason is because my subscribers challenged me to do it, especially one subscriber who sent me 1000 bits asking me to give the contest a try. And hey, who am I to turn down that proposal and disappoint my followers?" she smiled as she rested her head on her hands in confidence. "If you think this will be too much for me, let me remind you that I live around smelly, loud boys all the time. If I can survive daily with them, I can get through anything."

Isaac, the Shadow Man

The camera showed an antique store in the middle of an amusement park with a sign reading Fortune Emporium. In front of the establishment, in a smoke bomb the smiling owner makes an appearance. "Welcome, welcome to a world of wonder and magic! Where fantasy rules and dreams come true! Your future awaits right here!"

The image proceeds to take a quick tour of the interior, visualizing various objects that look like fantastical relics straight out of fairy tales. Talismans and amulets of all shapes and colors with all kinds of symbols. Colorful and spooky tapestries and paintings. Many tables with all kinds of objects such as lamps, voodoo dolls, vases, crystals, letters, potions, severed hands, etc. Walls where sticks, tridents, stuffed animals and hats were accommodated, as well as various painted symbols. Large shelves with books that flew by themselves like butterflies. And in the center on the floor was drawn a symbol of a five-pointed star in a circle with a lighted candle at each point.

And at the bottom there was a circular table with a crystal ball, where the owner was waiting. "I've been called everything, like Shadow Man, Trickster Demon, and my personal favorite, He Who Must Never Be Named, but the most common one they use is The Collector. Why you ask? All the relics you can find here, I found them and hoarded them for fun. Many have questioned the existence of magic and have dedicated their lives to investigating the phenomena that span our world, but to date nothing is confirmed. Well, I can assure you that you are just wasting your time looking, because I took it all for myself! If you want magic, you must pay for it."

"I've spent much of my life searching for and collecting anything with an ounce of magic in it, and I've made many deals along the way, all of which helped me get to where I am right now. I now have great power at the tip of my fingers, and it's all at my hands" he continued, snapping his fingers to light a few candles around him. "However, I've realized that I have too many things that could be considered useless now. That's why I decided to open this emporium and sell some of my trinkets. And that's why I want to go on your junk show, to promote my products! It's like the saying goes: Someone's trash is someone else's treasure."

He places his claws on the crystal ball. "Of course, if I have time. I have a more personal reason for making this trip. Something that eats away at my curiosity. I would appreciate it if you included me in your program and I promise to put on a great show that will make your hair stand on end. It will be a pleasure to make deals with all those commoners."

Sonya, the Famous Singer

She walks into her dressing room as the noise of roaring fans is heard in the background. She exhales an exhausted sigh and sits down in front of the dresser where the camera was. "The life of a famous star is not as simple as many like to think. It's not just writing your song, going on stage, playing an epic solo and that's it. No, not at all. All of that is harder than it seems, and you also have to deal with the pressure, the crazy fans, and my personal favourite…"

She is interrupted by someone banging on the door. "Sonya! You'd better get ready! You'll be back out in ten! And why are you talking to yourself!?"

"…my infuriating and loud manager, Gustavo," she finished, before yelling to him: "I'm not talking to myself! I'm recording my Total Drama audition!"

"And why are you doing it now!? You must always be ready for the stage!"

"Because this is my only break for the day! It won't take long!"

"It better! Time is money and we both know it!"

Footsteps are heard walking away to indicate that the manager has left, leaving Sonya with her privacy again. "See what I'm saying? That's why I want to enter the contest. Because I need a break from all of this. Don't get me wrong, I love this life and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I'm just saying sometimes I need to get away from it all and to have a little time to myself, and by the way I have the opportunity to earn a lot of money. Maybe that way Gustavo will finally lower the pressure and stop blowing steam out of his ears all the time, although knowing him, that won't last long."

She takes off her visor and rubs her forehead as she sighed. "I'm sure you guys are questioning my decision to go to Total Drama, known worldwide as a camp of constant torture and humiliation. Well, I did say I want a break, but my definition of break doesn't mean going to a relaxing spa or anything boring! I want to have fun and live big! Some excitement and adventure! That's why when the contest is over and if I win the money, I'll use some of it to go on vacation with my girlfriend to the mountains like she always wanted. Of course, if I can get out of that show alive."

"Ladies and gentlemen of the audience! It's time to get on with the show! Give a round of applause to our shining star of the night: SONYA SWARAY!"

She puts her visor back on and smiles confidently, "And that's my cue! The show must go on! I await your response! See ya!" she leaves the dressing room towards the public that sang her name.

Diego, the Jungle Survivor

A boy in a ranger uniform was walking stealthily through a lush jungle with an animal trapping stick in hand. He was watching his surroundings intently, ready to catch his prey.

Suddenly, a golf ball falls and hits him on the head. As he rubs the wound he sees that said ball has a face painted on it. The ranger groans in frustration knowing what comes next.

"Not again" was all he said before a leafy shadow lunged at him, knocking him off his feet and pinning him to the ground.

"Trying to hunt me down again, Maurice?"

Instead of being scared, he just sighs tiredly. "Diego, you have to bathe at least once a week."

"And get rid of my natural camouflage? Never! Predators can track me without it!"

"We're in a zoo! There are no predators!"

"It's because you don't see them. Yesterday I saw those four penguins giving me ugly looks, especially that flat-headed one. The crocodile always running in and out of the sewers. And don't get me started on those lemurs partying every day."

"Look, I didn't come today to listen to your stories. The boss wants to talk to you about a proposal, about competing on a TV show."

"Are they going to get rid of me?" he gasped dramatically "I thought we had something special!"

"It's only temporary. The program will be in the wild, and since you're an expert at it, the boss wants to send you there to earn a lot of money."

"Is that so?" he smirked as he watched the drone camera following them, before leaping up and catching it in a blinding motion like prey. Now they recorded him directly. "Well, I happen to be a wild survival expert. I've lived in a jungle for over 10 years, learning to adapt, facing dangers and overcoming them like a champion! All without losing my sanity and with my only brother Wilbur!" he presents his ball with a face like it was a real person.

"The locals here are so cool," he smiled at him as he pulled a banana out of his pants. "The gorillas and I always share the bananas, and the elephant always has a story to tell. The octopus always puts on a show, and that flamingo keeps posing for visitors. And don't get me started on that snake, he's a chess master. Although I must say that lion does have problems, he loves to be the center of attention. And the bear thinks he owns the place, it was funny when I slapped him. Outside of them, I get along with everyone here except for killjoy Maurice, who wants to ruin my camouflage."

"You have to bathe so you don't get an infection."

"For that you will have to catch me!" he jumps back to his hideout in the trees as he laughs maniacally, leaving only the ranger who just sighs in resignation.

"I don't get paid enough for this."

Chantal, the Sky Pirate

She was walking down a long metal corridor towards a hatch as the camera followed her. "Ah, producers of Total Drama! I am Captain Chantal Celeano! And now you are being honored with a view of my airship: the Ravenous Condor! This ship has belonged to my father, and before him to my grandfather, who stole it from a military base. The largest cargo planes pale against the Ravenous Condor. At a quarter of a mile long, this is the largest ship ever built, as well as the most infamous vehicle in history, and it's all mine!"

She opens the hatch, revealing a huge hangar where several subjects, men and women of all sizes, all in pirate costumes, were standing, chatting and fighting among themselves. Seeing her captain walk in, they stop their things and stand straight in a line. "This hangar can hold up to thirty planes, and this is where most of the action happens. Admiral, report!"

One of the pirates, apparently the second in command and the only one not to get involved in the childish fights, spoke up: "Captain, we have intercepted a cargo plane near our air route. What are your orders?"

"Do you know the contents of that plane?"

"From what we received from our scout, it appears to be carrying precious relics moving to a new museum in another country."

"Oh, what a waste. They just move them to another place to keep collecting dust."

The pirates giggled, knowing what that means. "We await your orders, Captain!" said the admiral.

"Everyone to the planes! That merchandise will soon have new owners!"

"Aye-aye, Captain!"

While everyone loaded their weapons and mounted their planes, she proudly watched them work. "Yes, that's my crew. I had to earn their respect tooth and nail, and now they follow me everywhere. As the captain, I must always remain firm and aware of everything. I must be on top, with all my abilities polished to the brim. I can't afford to be knocked down by anyone. Which is why I plan to enter your contest. I never turn down a chance to win a juicy haul, and that million dollars will soon have my mark on it."

"We are ready for the assault, captain! We only wait for you!"

"I'll be there in a minute!" she yelled before looking at the camera, "I can promise you, producers of Total Drama, one player that will not back down from anything thrown in the face. I will go to that island, lead my team to glory, and overcome all the challenges until I reach the finale, or my name is not Chantal Celeano!"

She goes to ride her own plane as a huge hatch opens into the clear sky. The planes are in position and the propellers are spinning, ready to fly.

"LET'S GO!"

On command, the planes roll to the ground and plummet, then rise up and fly into the air, ready for their next assault.

Tony, the Hidden Visitor

He was trying to get the camera to work, but he was showing that he didn't know how. "Ugh, how I loathe such archaic artifacts. This world is so far behind in technology that it just…ugh." He taps the lens a few times before setting it down as he walks away and checks the instruction manual. "The green light must be on to record" he reads before checking up on the camera and confirming that he is already recording. "Well, there's a green light there, so… Hmph, that wrinkly woman in that store better have this thing work, because she made me run for quite a while while she chased me in her shoes, chancla I think she called it."

He positions the camera on a rock as he stands in front of a forest with a view of the city in the distance. "Greetings, human creatures- Uh, I mean, producers. I'll be direct, I want to participate in that game of yours, Dramarama or whatever it's called, just so I can access that island. I've already tried dozens of times to get in, but I've underestimated your security system… Heh, it's funny that that island is made up of and full of advanced technology, and here I am dealing with such a pathetic technological artifact."

"The reason for all this is to recover something that belongs to me, which unfortunately fell on your island several solar cycles ago, and I can only recover it if you let me in. Don't worry, I won't cause trouble. I'll just go in, find the device, and I'm leaving" he explained as he took out a piece of paper. "According to this, it says that for this audition I need to present my reasons for being chosen. Well, just let me clarify that if you choose me and allow me to do my job, I can convince Mother to spare your lives. Although I can't promise that, she always has the last word. Everything I do is solely to make Mother proud… Although I don't think she will be very proud when she finds out the reason for my delay."

"Meh, I've always been her favorite, she said so herself. Anyone can make a mistake, except Mother, of course" he relaxed, as he went to look for something. When he returns, he carries in his hands a half-eaten hamburger straight out of the garbage, damp, with a few hints of mold and covered in larvae. "And while I'm stranded here, I've been in for some nice surprises, like this delicacy." he gobbles down the rotten burger like he hasn't eaten in days. "The larvae are delicious on their own, but all that combination of meats and vegetables, plus that juice that moistens my tongue. As clumsy and backward as they are, I can't deny that they have the best appetizers."

He licks his fingers and decides to get this over with. "In short, it is to your advantage that you elect me, because if you don't, I will be forced to take extreme measures. Believe me when I say that you are only delaying the inevitable."

Pearl, the Prodigy Girl

"Pearl, your ballet class is in half an hour, and after that you have your cooking class, and in the afternoon you will have your fencing class and in the evening you have your piano lesson."

"Thanks Anastasia, I'm going to get ready. I'll see you in the car, okay?"

She hears the door close, leaving the girl alone to let out a sigh before sitting on her oversized bed, in a rather spacious and elegant room. "As you may have heard, I have a very busy schedule. Every day is always the same routine. I was always quite talented at many things, and my dad noticed and wanted me to hone all my skills to be as 'successful' as him. And being honest, I'm tired!"

She takes out a backpack where she keeps everything she needs for her day. "That's why I want to go on Total Drama. It's my chance to break out of this routine and finally do something new. And with the chance to win a million dollars, plus being able to go on live TV, I think I can convince my dad to at least let me have this. And if he won't let me, I'll still find a way to sneak out for a while to go to that contest."

She finishes loading her backpack and puts on a jacket. "Despite all the controversies, I've seen some good things on the show. I can get some excitement there, make new friends, and I might even meet a guy. Sure, I'm not going to get distracted by some summer romance, but it would be great to meet a lot of new people. I don't have many real friends, in any case they are just classmates and nothing more. Hopefully and in the contest I get along with everyone and I don't get expelled for some trick. That would really suck."

"Pearl! Time to go, or we'll be late!"

"I'M COMING!" she grabs her backpack and the camera to turn it off. "I'm leaving now! Pick me! Bye!"

Lucas, the Inept Slacker

He was in a small room with a sliding door that leads directly to a pool, sitting on an inflatable chair playing video games and eating chips. "In case you haven't noticed, this isn't my room. This place is practically my shed, but because of all my family's wealth, this place is a lot fancier than you think."

He grabs some chips in his fist and puts them in his mouth. While chewing, he continues talking, "My parents said that I don't do anything with my life and that I should learn to be more 'independent' and things like that, so they kicked me out of my room and sent me to live here. They even got me a counselor life and they make me do some chores around the house like taking out the trash, mowing the lawn, cleaning the pool, etc. My mom is patient with me, but my dad keeps making it clear to me that I am nothing but a loser and always preferring more to my brother Mark than to me."

He pauses his game and looks at the camera. "That's why I'm auditioning for Total Drama. I'm going to go to that island to win the million dollars and then I'll shove it in my dad's face and show him I'm good at something. That, and because I want a million dollars." bucks. Maybe they'll let me go back to my old room. This place is great, but it doesn't have air conditioning and the inflatable bed isn't as comfortable as I thought."

He resumes his game and takes another handful of chips, "I've thought about looking for other contests, but this show is one of the few that doesn't require any conditions like being very smart or athletic. All I need to compete is sign a contract that dictates that I can't sue them for any injuries or fatal fractures. If that's it, that's fine by me!"

Author's Notes

I'M ALIVE!

Ok, I really owe you guys an explanation as to why I disappeared without a trace. The reason is very simple. It is that the last chapter, which should conclude this odyssey, caused me a HORRIBLE writer's block. I had the idea of what I wanted to happen, but always every time I try to put them in order and write them, it never managed to convince me and I rewrote the chapter from scratch. I tried it several times and it was always the same, until I finally decided to give myself a break and the story suddenly went on hiatus.

Time passed and eventually I put this story into oblivion, and concentrated on things in life. It was only a few months ago that my interest in writing returned, but the chapter still caused me trouble. Therefore, I decided to write something else: the new season that I promised you, and I made great strides. The first chapters are already fully written.

However, in order not to leave you without a story any longer, I decided to write this chapter that is the auditions of all my OCs, which serve to learn a little about the personal life of each of the contestants. I still plan to write the final chapter and bring closure to this story. What I can promise is that it will be sometime this year.

Speaking of the story, during this hiatus I've also made a decision about my story, Total Drama Enchanted: I'm going to completely rewrite it, from chapter one, and publish it as a new story. The reason is that I have read this story again and I am not at all satisfied with what I have. There are so many wasted things that could be put to better use. It is understandable, since as I have already mentioned, I wrote this story on the fly and in a hurry, without time to develop the plots correctly. I plan to correct that error. Of course, the most important things like the order of elimination will stay the same, but this is to give some of my characters more relevance and personality, as well as make the challenges and interactions more fluid.

Obviously I won't do the rewrite right now, I'll wrap up this story first and give you the grand finale you've been waiting for so long. The votes have already been counted and the winner is already decided. I only need to publish the final chapter, the alternative ending (which will be a separate chapter because I will also give away more information about the future of this series), and an epilogue where you will know what to expect from the next season.

I know this is not what you expected for the return of this story, but a lot has happened. Don't worry, I'm not going to abandon this story or these characters that I've grown fond of. I have many plans for the future, I just ask you to be patient.

Well, that would be all from me. This is Fantasy Lord 77, saying goodbye until the next time we meet. Bye bye!
