Chapter 3 the stared of the drama.

As Madeline got closer to the door, squashing any guilt or worry about being caught eavesdropping, she carefully opens the door a crack, and could hear Jake's voice more clearly and much to her surprise she could hear Sarah's voice as well.

"Jake, you need to do something about Jones, you saw that look she gave me." Sarah complains in order to get pity from him.

"What do you want me to do? I can't actually do anything to her without my sister taking the fall for my actions, I can't do that to Julie." Jake states.

Sarah scoffs and storms towards the door, causing Madeline to quickly sneak into the nearest dressing room in order to not get caught.

As she was peeking to watch and wait for the all clear, she felt a pair of hands on her shoulders, whipping around she nearly let out a shriek,

but sighs in relief when she spots an welcomed and friendly face. "Daniel! Don't scare me like that!" Madeline said pouting

as her friend chuckles at her reaction, before he quickly turns serious and states. "You were the one who snuck into my dressing room."

She blushed giving a sheepish grin to him saying. "Yeah, sorry about that." before her expression turns worried as she peeks out the door.

Danny frowns at her actions as he asked. "Is everything okay, Maddies?"

Madeline sighs heavily as she finally shuts the door fully before going over to the small couch and sits down. "No it is Sarah Cozbi." she answers.

"Cozbi? You don't mean...no...Mario would have told me, you mean me to tell me that she is his sister?!" Danny exclaimed shocked at this revelation about his long time friend.

Madeline nods, "Mario is actually her older half brother, their mother is Maria Piper and her father is the co-director of the show, but unfortunately she and I have history from before my acting days." she explains.

Danny was still shocked as he quickly came to another realization, but he kept it to himself as he reassures Madeline that he will keep an eye for Sarah and after a quick hug she leaves the dressing room.

Once the door was fully shut and Madeline was out of ear shot, Danny quickly pulls out his cell and quickly types in a number, putting it to his ear, he didn't have to wait long as it was answered.

"Hey Dan! How are you?" Mario asked pleased to hear from his friend.

"Mario, what is this I hear about your little sister Sarah being casted in a current show that both your father and mother are part of?" Danny states not beating around the bush.

"What?! Oh no, let me guess, Madeline Jones?" He guessed a pit of dread building in his stomach.

"Yes, your father is not only breaking policy about hiring family members, the only reason your Mom is not included in that was because they were not ever married." Danny said.

"Do Lois or Harry know about this? You know that he is not in favor of hiring family members without them going through the same ropes of protocol and even then it would be a slim chance, he will lose his head when he finds out, poor Mitch is going to be in for it, but then again if Sarah is anything like her old man, he is a snake in the grass." Mario said bitterly.

"Either way I am going to bring this to their attention, so brace yourself for the backlash." Danny said feeling sorry for his friend.

Mario chuckles humorlessly as he said, "Don't worry about me, see you around." without waiting he hangs up the phone, Danny just sighs heavily and leaves his dressing room and makes his way towards the office of the head directors Harry and Lois.

Knocking on the door, he waits for acceptance before opening the door and was greeted by friendly smiles, but they were quickly gone when they saw his upset expression.

"Danny what is wrong?" Lois asked as she got up from behind her desk to stand beside Harry, who's expression mirrored hers.

Danny told them about the conversation he had with Madeline and their expressions when from concern to shock and to anger.

"Thank you, Danny, we will make sure that this is looked into, you go on now." Harry said his face turning grim with anger as the door shut.

"Lois..." Harry said looking at her, she nods and goes over the intercom. "Madeline Jones, Sarah Cozbi, please come to the director's office, with your respective parents/guardians as well."

"Come along Madeline, you can see your friends afterwards, Katie stay here." Marie said following after Madeline, while Mitch and Sarah were just walking inside the office.

Julie turns to her twin brother with a disapproving glare, as he just stuffed his face without care.

"Jason, what is this I hear about you hanging out with Sarah Cozbi, she is bad news, you know how our folks are about this whole situation to began with, if they find out about you causing any trouble they will have us back home quicker then you can say, Oklahoma, if you mess this up for us, I will never ever forgive you, do I make myself clear?"

Jake grumbles, but nods.

Meanwhile Harry and Lois were ripping Mitch a new one about his unprofessional and devious behavior, Sarah was now on probation and was warning about anymore trouble she would be removed from the show and blacklisted from working in films and shows in the future.

Madeline was reassured that Sarah was kept on a tight leash.

"That's not fair! You can't do that!" Sarah whines.

Lois gives the girl a sharp look and said sternly. "Life is not fair, nor is your father allowing you to be casted without us even knowing about it, you are on very thin ice little girl, now you are dismissed."

Sarah was practically dragged out of the room by her father, whining and vowing revenge on Madeline.

while No one knew how true those vows were.
