Brown part 3
"Everta Statum"
The dummy that Harry aimed at slammed right into the wall opposite him. Harry vanished training dummies that he created for training. He's used to it now. Almost all his spells are now like this. He can control it and make it average but even his regular spells now contain too much power into it. Harry stopped thinking about his wand as this alternate wand working well enough for him like at least he can control the power he put into it. The same can't be said about his old Holly wand though. Still uncomfortable and uncontrollable.
Stretching his body, Harry started his run. Although the chamber is a closed space it's still huge. His head is still deep in thought. These last two weeks were different. Harry helped his friends to learn Patronus charm. Hermione as usual is the first one to learn it though not corporeal but yeah. Neville is the one who struggled the most, only after Harry gave him hints about his love for Herbology that he did succeed to create a little smoke. Three of them are already progressing fast enough for just two weeks of training.
His relationship with them is still strained as far as Harry can tell. The golden Gryffindor trio is no more and chances are slim of it happening again. He has matured. He can now see how Ron always envied him for his status. How Hermione stuck with them so that she couldn't be lonely. Harry can see it all now.
Shaking his head Harry wiped the sweat off his forehead as he stopped his exercise. Lately, he focused more of his time on his physical training than magical one. Harry looked at the time using a tempus charm as he prepared to leave the chamber of secrets. Covering himself with the invisibility cloak Harry cautiously left the second floor girl's bathroom and entered the corridor. It's past curfew already.
Harry already lent his Marauders map to Hermione and Ron. As it helps them to escape from the newly made Inquisitorial Squad consisting of Slytherins of their year and some sixth, seventh year students. Many incidents are already coming forward of them harassing junior students without any reason plenty of times. Speaking of the devils as Harry turned around the corner he came face to face with the said squad. Thanks to his cloak Harry silently sidestepped from their way as they came strolling down the corridor. Harry spotted Draco and his gang in the front. What surprised him a little was seeing Greengrass and her friends in it too. Harry always thought she didn't associate with Draco and his cronies. As he never spotted Greengrass and her friend wearing those "Potter Stinks" badges at least not in front of him. Maybe they did, maybe they aren't as neutral Slytherins as he thought them to be. Regardless Harry waited patiently in the corner as the group crossed passed him.
Before he could start walking on his way, he stopped. His eyes narrowed as Greengrass turned around towards his direction. Harry quickly grabbed his substitute wand.
"Daphne, what happened?" Davis asked the girl as Greengrass looked around the corner where he stood under his cloak. It's clear that she can't see him. Something must have slipped from the cloak and come into her view. Harry stood there silently as Daphne looked around a bit more.
"Nothing, I just felt like someone is here. I don't know." Greengrass shook her head as she turned around and followed the group. Harry watched as Davis looked around one last time before doing the same.
Harry could only sigh. Greengrass seems like having a knack for finding him in unexpected places. Harry gave the group one last look before going towards Gryffindor's common room.

Daphne tagged along with the group as they strolled around the corridors. Draco and his goons lead the group. The inquisitorial squad is nothing but a petty bullying group for now who have the support of Prof. Umbridge with them. She knew what they were doing is wrong, like terrorising younger students from different houses to unnecessarily spell fire at some, Daphne couldn't help but feel conflicted with her decision. Her sister Astoria is most vocal about this though only in front of them. Tracey and Blaise are level-headed, they know why they are here in the group. They couldn't afford to get ostracised. Instead of doing that Daphne spent most of her time studying for her OWL exam.
She's one of the top students here at Hogwarts only behind Granger and Ravenclaw Patil. Both of them are pretty good with the theory part of the magic where Daphne prides herself in her practical knowledge. She's confident in most of her subjects besides DADA. As prof. Umbridge emphasises more on the theory part, her chances of getting an 'O' seems less likely now. That's why she had to spend more time reading DADA books now than ever.
Daphne's grandmother was one of the top Unspeakable in her time. Sadly she couldn't get the chance of ever meeting her as she passed away before her birth. But stories of her inspired her the most in her childhood. Even her parents know that Daphne wants to be an Unspeakable though her father wanted her to manage their business in future. Keeping that in mind Daphne studied with passion, instead of learning theories by heart she always tried to understand the topic. Unlike what others may think Daphne isn't a blood purist nor her family. Her family traditionally grew their business threefold thanks to her Grandfather's vision. He saw potential in the muggle market and now Greengrass Ventures has the largest shares of business with muggles than any other families.
Then came 5th year and everything went wrong. From that diagon alley incident to rumours of the dark lord's return, all the optimism that she had about her future now felt iffy. In the midst of all she's here struggling to make the right decision.
Lost in her thoughts Daphne suddenly stopped in her tracks as they passed around the corner of the second floor. She felt it. She doesn't even know how to describe it clearly. Turning her head she looked around the area with her eyes. The area is empty. Daphne shook her head. Is she going nuts? The hairs in her hands stood up, almost like something attracting them with magnets.
"Daphne, what happened?" Daphne could only sigh.

"Professor Dumbledore, do you know anything about the Deathly Hallows?"
Dumbledore almost choked on his lemon drop. Instead, only a couple of coughs escaped from his mouth. He cleared his throat and looked at Harry once again.
"I certainly have read 'The Tales of Beedle the Bard', yes, a fascinating story indeed. Do you believe them to be true my boy?" Dumbledore kept his eyes focused on Harry. In his reply, he only got a nod.
"Why may I ask?"
"I believe I have one of them." he watched as Harry removed the cloak from his pocket.
Dumbledore let out a small sigh. How much should he share here? His eyes went to Sirius who was saying something to Harry with wide eyes.
"Sirius, can you please leave Me and Harry alone for some time." Sirius's head snapped at his word. He looked at both of them for a moment then he looked at Harry. Only after receiving a small nod from him, that he left the room. Dumbledore twisted his hand and silently cast a locking charm and several privacy charms.
"I can't say that the tale is a hundred percent true but I can tell you one thing Harry, many wizards and witches had met their untimely end in search of them." His voice is solemn. The face of his dear friend flashed in front of his eyes.
"There was a time when even my friend and I spent hours searching for them. We researched, and we tracked down any smallest clue we found. And in the end, we managed to track down two of them." Dumbledore lifted his wand.
"You see Harry, I found out about the cloak from your Grandfather, and by then I have abandoned my search for Hallows. But my friend didn't. He still searched for them far and wide. I kept the information about the cloak hidden from him. I tried my best to coerce him from the search but he didn't listen. In the end, He finally found this. The deathstick." He looked at Harry once again. There's a little surprise written on his face.
"Do you know who that friend of mine is?" Dumbledore asked with a low voice.
"Grindelwald" Dumbledore could only close his eyes. It seems Harry did his research.
"Yes, the two of us were best friends. Though in later years our relationship became strained due to obvious reasons."
"This wand's previous holder is indeed Gellert Grindelwald. But this wand is not absolute. Otherwise, I couldn't have defeated Gellert that day could I" A small dry chuckle escaped from his mouth. "Since then I have been the holder of this so-called Death wand."
He turned his head at Harry. His eyes were focused on his wand. But instead of asking him more about it, he simply stood there looking at his wand and him.
"Where's the ring, Professor?" Dumbledore fixed his glasses.
"That Harry is still unknown. That's the only Hallow that has a very limited record on it." Dumbledore said.
"Remember it, Harry, Power is not everything, these Hallows are not everything. They can make you powerful, yes, but they certainly do not make you invincible. It's just not worth it." His voice almost pleaded with Harry to understand.
His eyes followed Harry as the boy only nodded at his word.
Dumbledore exited from his pensieve. That day Dumbledore made a huge decision. He believed in Harry Potter. Just like he did in Gellert and Tom. Is he going to be wrong once again, only time would tell.
His eyes scanned his office. He has lost most of his authority as a headmaster now. All thanks to the minister and Lucius. They still couldn't get their hands on him…
BANG BANG
"Dumbledore," a familiar voice of Fudge shouted.
… yet.
SyZyGy
"Come in" Daphne entered the office along with all the members of the inquisitorial squad. The office is as hideous as one office can be. She could only shake her head.
These last few weeks are worse than ever. The ministry somehow managed to force Dumbledore to flee from Hogwarts. Everything went downhill afterwards. The woman in front of her took full control of everything happening at Hogwarts. They just finished their OWL exam yesterday. For the first time, Daphne struggled at any exam, all thanks to this pink woman. Regardless of what other Slytherins may say, Daphne has no respect for her. Hogwarts shouldn't be a political playground for anyone.
"Hem hem" Daphne cringed.
"We finally got rid of Dumbledore it seems." Daphne heard the words of the pink professor. "And now we can finally exercise our full power. They managed to escape from us till now but not anymore. Mr. Malfoy here will take the lead as you guys are going to catch those unruly students today at last."
The so called Dumbledore's army kept holding their meetings even after all the scrutiny. How? She has no clue. They managed to avoid getting caught till now. Not even once. Daphne mentally applauds them for that. Hearing the woman's words the inquisitorial squad cheered. Daphne clapped half enthusiastically.
She watched as Draco went to the front and gave a little speech about something that Daphne deliberately ignored. With a small sigh, she followed the group as they exited the office. At least this time it won't be a boring stroll.

"Now is the time, My friends."
Lucius Malfoy watched in silence as his lord addressed all the deatheaters present. The sky is dark. Even the moon hiding behind clouds. Truly a perfect day.
"The day has finally come. Today we will again show them fear. Today they will witness our return. Go, my friends show them no mercy."
Lucius cheered along with his peers as the words of his lord met with a thunderous response. The deatheaters bowed one final time before apparating. Lucius and the inner circle of lord Voldemort waited for their turn.
They have created two groups. The main group will attack the Ministry directly along with their lord and the other small group will attack several other places at once. Lucius watched with bated breath as lord Voldemort raised his wand high, signalling them to start their mission at last. Lucius gripped his wand tight as he apparated along with others.

"It started, Albus. We just received a message from Arthur."
Dumbledore nodded at the words of his friend Alastor. He looked at their group once again. All the members of the order of the Phoenix are here.
"We will stick to the plans, we will waste no time. Now go."
He gave them an encouraging smile as he watched in silence of them apparating away. He nodded at Alastor Moody as the seasoned veteran apparated last.
The order is trained and seasoned. They have survived the previous war. They can do it once again too. He looked at his companion.
"You know what to do." Fawkes chirped loudly before vanishing in red flames.
"Peverells," Dumbledore said in a low voice as he closed the book he was reading a moment ago. He looked at his elder wand once again.
"The time has come."
SyZyGy
"All this is his doing, my lord." His voice
The scene in front of him is unreal. Total devastation. To say all this was done by a single person is unimaginable, to say the least. His eyes scanned the area in front of him. The huge castle that once stood here is now in ruins. The towers have fallen. He could see small numbers of bodies here and there. What surprised him the most was the condition of the town surrounding the castle. Not even a single scratch is there.
It didn't take him long before he reached the gate of the castle. There's only one half of the gate remaining.
"What happened here?" He asked a soldier who looked like he just escaped from a storm.
"The king is dead. Peverell killed him." That is the answer he got.
"How? A single man killed your king despite all these defences you boast about for years."
The soldier scowled at him. "He's no ordinary human. He's a wizard. And a wizard unlike we have ever seen. Don't talk about something you clearly don't understand." The soldier ignored his calling as he went ahead on his path.
Unlike the current time, in the past magical beings and normal humans used to live together peacefully. The man furrowed his brow as entered the tattered castle deeper. The queen and princess are nowhere to be seen.
"Joan, take two of my men and collect magical memories of this incident. We need to look deeper into this later." He instructed his men.
Only after reaching the hall, that he was able to meet the queen. He bowed his head down in front of her. The queen only nodded at him.
"Richard, it's great to see you here." Richard smiled at the queen. She's a serious woman.
"I believe you have seen the work of that bastard. Waste no time, gather every single wizard and witch we have at our disposal. We'll finish him once and for all." Richard looked the queen in the eyes. Something akin to madness is there. The same madness that's seen several times in the past. Madness for revenge. He smirked.
"As you wish, Your Highness." He bowed. His hands itching, the time has come.
"We'll end Antioch Peverell." He declared.
A cold sweat went down his body as Harry woke up from his dream. The dreams are less frequent now. Getting hold of himself Harry wiped the sweat from his face. He helped himself to sit. The rather comfy bed that he transfigured feels awfully less comfy now.
Things have changed. There's no Professor Dumbledore in the castle now. Umbridge now has full control over Hogwarts. Harry managed to keep a low profile till now. Harry knows now that the OWL exams are finished, the woman will finally strike. Thanks to Dumbledore's army training, his friends did better than others in DADA. This exam is by far his best at Hogwarts. For the first time, Harry focused on his studies wholeheartedly and he can almost see the results.
Harry opened the Marauder's map. As there were no group meetings for the last two weeks because of exams, Harry kept the map with himself. What he saw on the map made him double check. Dumbledore's army is now surrounded by the Inquisitorial squad. All three paths are now blocked. There's no way the group can escape now. Standing upright the first thing Harry did is to pocket his old wand.
Time has come indeed.
SyZyGy
Hermione closed her eyes. There's no escaping now. They are now trapped. There's no way they can escape from the Inquisitorial squad today. If only Harry was with them here, he would have thought of something out of the box and get them away from the trouble safely. Sadly he's not here. Nor is their famous Gryffindor trio.
Hermione prided herself on being the brain of the group but it's Harry they would count on every time situation gets worse. But Harry is not the same anymore. He's now grown up. He's now his own man. He doesn't depend upon her anymore. He doesn't ask for her notes these days. She does miss their old days but life isn't fair. She took too much time to rethink, and time as always didn't wait for her. It went ahead. Leaving her in the shadows.
She's also partly to blame. When Harry's name came out of the Goblet, she should've been there supporting him instead she remained neutral at least in her point of view but to everyone else, it seems like she also abandoned her friend. After that incident, only Harry could have befriended them once again but whatever happened at the graveyard that night changed Harry entirely. This entire year Harry didn't spend a single full hour with them fully. Harry finally came around after the winter holiday but many things are missing. Their friendship felt something else. Harry helped them with several spells. Those were the only moments Harry spent with them. It felt more like a business meeting than a group of friends studying together.
Then came OWL exams. Hermione concentrated on her exams. Thanks to Dumbledore's army even this year she believes she did fairly well in DADA. As the exams finished they thought about holding one last meeting of Dumbledore's army before the year comes to an end. Harry lent them his marauders map previously which made it pretty easy to avoid the inquisitorial squad. Hermione tried to contact Harry for the same this time too but for some reason, Harry didn't respond to their patronus messages. Without thinking much Hermione and her friends went ahead to hold the meetings as planned earlier. And they are running away trying to escape from the squad.
"They are coming from this side too Hermione, what should we do?" Someone from their group asked as they ran down the corridor. She felt helpless just as they reached the corner of the corridor that joints three paths together. And the squad's members are coming from each.
"I don't know." She whispered as she watched with bated breath as the squad closed the distance.
"Now now, what do we have here?" The mocking voice of Malfoy. The voice echoed around the corridor. Soon all the squad members joined together before them. They are easily above 30 students in the squad and where in Dumbledore's army there are around 15 or more due to most of them leaving the meetings early and half of them are junior students. The inquisitorial squad consists of many 6th and 7th years too and they know that. If the fight had to break here they are going to lose here most probably. Even if they win, Umbridge is going to punish them harshly. She watched as Ron and Neville raised their wand, as they took several steps ahead.
"We are not going down without a fight here." Several other members of Dumbledore's army also levelled their wands at the group. To their surprise, the Inquisitorial squad laughed.
"Do you think you guys can win here against them?" Malfoy laughed as he pointed at the 6th and 7th year Slytherins. The laughter died down eventually as the squad also levelled their hands against them.
"Professor Umbridge will be here anytime now." Draco declared as took a confident step ahead. "There's no escape now. You guys are going to be expelled." Another round of laughter came.
All of a sudden a red spell hurled directly at them. Before any of them could do anything the spell rushed at them with a frightening speed.
Hermione watched with wide eyes as the spell vanished midway out of the blue. And suddenly the back of Harry Potter standing right in front of them. He literally appeared out of thin air.
"A stunner Malfoy, really." Harry mocked.
Just like them, the Inquisitorial squad is also shocked to see Harry Potter appearing out of nowhere. Malfoy gapes at the scene.
It took the squad only a minute to regroup before countless spells went flying at them. Several junior members of Dumbledore's army screamed.
"Protego Maxima" Harry whispered as a large visible shiny barrier formed in front of him. The spells bombarded the barrier. To their surprise, the shield easily held against so many spells easily without even a shimmer in it. Harry held his wand straight and turned his head around towards them.
"Go," he shouted. Hermione shook her head frantically. She can't leave her friend alone here. "Don't worry about me, fetch the teachers, go fast," Harry commanded, his bright green eyes almost glowing in the dark. Hermione still couldn't find herself leaving Harry here. Neville and Ron nodded at Harry's words.
"Let's go, Hermione, we have junior students with us. They can't fight." Before she could say anything, both of them dragged her down the corridor. She looked at Harry one last time before sprinting down the corridor. Professor McGonagall and Prof. Flitwick are surely going to help.
"This is fun" was the last word she heard before she dashed forward.
SyZyGy
Daphne looked at the scene in front of her. Several spells zoomed past her as they slammed into the barrier that Potter created. He stood there relaxed with his wand. Both of her friends also fired spell after spell but to no avail. Daphne herself fired some spells but it all looked like paper planes against a wall.
There are around 30 or more Slytherin students here. Half of them are 6th and 7th years also. That clearly shows Potter's prowess. Still, Daphne prides herself in her practical magic. No way she's going to let a single wizard downgrade her. Besides this will serve as a punishment for what Potter did to her at Hogsmeade.
Just that moment she found a slight shimmer at the right side of the barrier. Aiming at the target, Daphne poured a great power into her spell and fired a powerful shield penetration spell. The bluish-white spell bolted forward and hit the target.
Boom, a loud sound echoed around the corridor as the shield broke finally. She from the corners of her eyes saw Potter stumbling to get up from several feet away from where he stood before.
They watched in silence as Harry Potter helped himself to stand again without much effort.
"Nice spell there Greengrass. Keep it up." Their eyes met. Daphne almost coughed as all the attention shifted to her. She was barely able to maintain her blank face thanks to her occlumency training. But how Potter recognised that spell as hers?
"Nevermind, are you guys going to attack again or what. I want to test my shield spell some more."
Draco grumbled as expected. How this guy sorted into Slytherin she'd never know. And now all it took was one provocation from Potter for Draco to fire another spell at him. Others swiftly followed. Daphne can spot the smirk on Potter's face.
"Protego Maxima" Potter relaxedly cast the same shielding spell once again. Daphne frowned.
"Fianto Duri" shield strengthening spell, Daphne aimed her wand once again and fired another powerful shield breaker. This time it didn't even create a crack. Potter looked directly at her with a confident smile on his face.
The scene went along for a minute or more. The squad kept firing their spells one after another but without any visible effect.
"Stop this." Warrington, a 7th year Slytherin shouted. "Time for real combat, use your most lethal spells. Not these harmless stunners and binding spells. Use real spells. You can't let this filthy blood mock us any longer, do you?"
Several Slytherins nodded. They used mostly harmless spells till now as instructed by Prof. Umbridge. But this little speech by Warrington changed the scenario now.
"No," Every single head turned towards her.
"Harmless spells are one thing but you can't expect me to try to kill or seriously injure someone else here. I didn't sign up for this." Daphne calmly said.
"I agree, Prof. Umbridge clearly instructed us to only use non lethal spells. I won't take part in it too." Tracey supported her. Some more students also nodded at their words. Draco and his cronies sneered at them.
"Just break his shield, stun him and report him to Prof. Umbridge." Blaise chimed in.
"Enough talking, I don't care about the consequences. I will make sure to show this filth his place whether any of you helps or not."
"Bombarda." Warrington shouted as he cast the first spell. The spells rammed into the shield creating a slightly louder noise than before. That convinced others that agreed with the 7th year and soon spell after spell dashed at Potter. Daphne saw some of the really dark lethal spells in the mix. Even Potter now focused on maintaining the shield.
Potter is a powerful wizard even at this age. That's evident. No Hogwarts student, not even 7th years, can have their shields last this long against 10 students attacking it at once let alone 25 students. Not even her. But there's always a limit to power.
Suddenly a cracking sound was heard, and thunder like lights flashed. They all watched wide-eyed as the wand Potter holding cracked. Creating multiple sparks as a result. Warrington wasted no time as he continued firing powerful spells. Potter stumbled and fell to his left knee. Out of the blue, his shield shattered as one last cutting curse cracked the shield and zoomed past Potter's cheek, creating a small cut. But to their shock instead of focusing on them, Potter is looking at his wand with disappointment.
"Expulso" someone shouted as the blue spell charged forward. Potter created a shield just right at the very last moment but that was not enough. The force of the spell knocked him backwards several metres away, crashing his body into the wall opposite them with a loud sound. Daphne grimaced. Potter coughed blood as he struggled to get up.
"What happened, Potter? Did you test your shield now? How's the result?" Several Slytherins laughed as Draco mocked Potter again.
"You still lack power in your spells, Malfoy." Potter helped himself to stand as he wiped the blood out of his mouth. He pointed his wand at his cheek and cast a silent healing spell. The blood flowing from the cut stopped.
"But no I still couldn't test it fully, you see as my wand here broke." Potter held his broken wand up. There's a visible crack in the wand. "Nevermind, now that we started playing with real spells like that guy there said. I won't disappoint you guys now. Now let the real game begin." A dark smile adorned Potter's face. Daphne frowned.
Taking two steps ahead as he put his right hand inside his pocket. A brownish black wand came into their vision.
Daphne stumbled backwards. Eyes wide. Her eyes met Potter. Potter's eyes were wide as well he finally able to put the pieces together.
"Daphne" Tracey supported her shoulders as she helped her remain standing. Her legs almost gave up. "What happened?" Tracey looked at her face with concern.
"Diagon Alley"
Daphne tried to shout but no words came out of her mouth. That dreaded wand belongs to Potter. The scene of the headless man's body crashing into the wall in front of her came into her view. Her nightmare. Potter was the one who killed that man that day. It's Harry Potter.
"Still arrogant as ever Potter. What can we expect from the son of a filthy mudblo…" Draco was never able to finish his sentence as his body slammed into the roof of the corridor creating a ghastly sound. A moment later he fell to the floor unconscious. The whole corridor went silent. Daphne even in her frightened state can see the eyes of Potter glowing in the dark. It's as eerie as one thing can get. All this year Potter remained in the background. Not even once he stood up against Umbridge and her co. He outright denied associating himself with Dumbledore's army but now when his friends got themselves trapped he came forward holding his own against 30 plus students all alone.
Some of the Slytherins unconsciously took a step back. The tides are turned now. And then Potter started his assault. Holding one wand in each of his hands Potter confidently strode forward.
"Now, this is real game, don't you agree, Mr. 7th year Slytherin." Warrington took a few steps back as he created a huge magical shield in front of him.
"Wanna see more, Diffindo" The spell tore the shield like it was nothing. Further cutting a deep cut into Warrington's right shoulder. Warrington fell backwards. Potter swiftly cast a silent stunner at him before banishing his body away. All that within seconds.
The squad watching this can't believe their eyes. Warrington was arguably the best dueler here among them and Potter treated him like a bypasser. Gathering their courage others started their counterattack. Potter with a flick of his left hand holding the broken wand created a half dome like shield. Without wasting any time he also attacked as well as defending himself at the same time.
The scene in front of her was disastrous. It's like a fight between a 7th year and a 1st year. The shields created by their squad members were destroyed with simple spells and their attacks were easily blocked by their opponent's shield. Harry Potter is no ordinary wizard. Back and forth only lasted for some seconds before bodies went flying. Potter didn't use any lethal spells. He just stunned each one of his opponents and then banished their bodies out of his way. Truly a magnificent sight. Daphne couldn't help but admire the sight in front of her.
"Daphne, what should we do?" Tracey asked from her side. Daphne tried to say something but her body felt weak. She felt sick. The scene in front of her overlapped with the scene she witnessed that day in the alley. By then about 5 or 6 students are standing. Most of them are the ones who abstained from using lethal spells. She watched as Potter easily subdued both Millicent and Pansy and banished them far down the corridor. Theodore created a shield but the shield shattered as he was also struck with a stunner right at his face. His body fell with a thud on the cold stone floor. He treated Draco's goons the same way. Before they could even utter a coherent word they were stunned. Potter made sure to banish both of them close to Draco. That's the least he can do.
All that was left was her friends and two 6th year Slytherin girls. Potter looked at them for a second before in a blink of an eye stunned the last two standing 6th years. And two other spells zoomed past her. The stunner hit Tracey before she or Daphne could even raise their wand. Beside her Blaise managed to counter the spell. Potter's eyes turned to her side.
Multiple successful stunners came flying once again. Blaise deflected some of them then jumped to his right. Avoiding others, but to his shock another 3 spells rammed into his body before he could even blink.
All the while Daphne stood there motionless. The stunned bodies of her friends are everywhere. Daphne didn't even have the power left to raise her wand. Her legs are shaking and she knows Potter can see it too. Their eyes met once again.
"You were there that day, weren't you? You and her." Potter said, pointing at Tracey. Daphne couldn't even bring herself to nod. All it took was one look into her eyes for Potter to confirm it. He nodded.
"I won't say I am proud of what I did that day. But believe me, they deserved it. Otherwise, your friend wouldn't be here today." Saying it, Potter turned. Daphne slowly tried to level her wand at him.
"Don't bother, help your friends. Especially the blonde ferret." Potter walked away. Her eyes and wand never left his back.
"You are a murderer." Her voice felt hoarse. Shaking his head at her he started to walk away.
A soft trilling sound suddenly echoed in the corridor as a majestic Phoenix appeared with a bright red flash.
"Fawkes" She heard Potter explain before the bird landed on his shoulder and vanishing him in a similar red flash once again. All that was left was a feather slowly falling.
She could only close her eyes at the situation.
"What the hell happened here?" Multiple voices echoed in the corridor.
"Hem hem." Daphne internally groaned.
Author's Note:
Finally here. It took some time to write it down as I was super busy during these last two months. Exams and my girlfriend should be blamed the most. Literally made it impossible for me to sit alone where I can at least write something with a clear mind. Never mind, it's here anyway.
The next chapter will be another intense chapter full of action. I should be able to finish it before my summer vacation comes to an end. Yet don't expect too much as I have some vacations and trips planned. I still should have enough free time to finish it I think. As for Harry being overpowered, yes in a way he is. Due to him using his old wand, his spells are far too strong than regular spells. He used stunners only because using lethals would give others a chance to frame him easily in the future.
Keep those reviews coming, and if you are using the application version of the ff then you can send me friend requests also. Would love to talk to some of you. Sorry for any grammatical mistakes. Stay safe and healthy.
Edit: Modified the last fight scene. I still believe the previous version would've been better for the story. But yeah my personal ego shouldn't come into the scene here. Harry and Daphne still are low key enemies at least for now.
