Pearl was speeding on the highway,

There were still so many potholes from the.. ocean town.. incident.

Peridot was trying her best to stay balanced and not let go of Stevens arm.

Steven started to regain conciseness,

"W-wha? FUCK" Steven said, disoriented and pulling his arm away, peridot did not let go.

"Oh thank the stars you're alive." Pearl said, looking in the rearview mirror.

Steven started to break down, crying.

Peridot was trying her best to comfort him, she isn't the best at stuff like this.

Steven calmed down enough to ask "where are we going?"

"The hospital, you need medical attention." pearl replied.

"WHAT?" Steven yelled.

"Steven, please calm down." Garnet said, turning around.

"Peridot, could you please lift the shirt really quick?" Garnet asked politely.

Peridot complied and lifted the shirt, his singular vertical cut still bleeding. Not as much as before but still bad.

"Thanks peridot, now keep on holding it tight."

Garnet added, turning back around.

"I- I'm fine, I can hold it myself peridot." Steven laughed.

"Mhmnmhmn" peridot mumbled, shaking her head.

"I was told to not let go. I don't want to mess this up too." Peridot said, still shaking her head.

Steven let out a concerned laugh.

Then everything started going black again.

"Uh-uh Steven?" Peridot asked, poking him.

"Steven??!" She continued.

"Uh garnet, we have a slight problem."

Peridot said, tapping garnet on the shoulder.

Garnet turned around, Steven was even more pale and now shaking.

"Pearl, speed up." Garnet said, hurriedly.

"We should've just called an ambulance."

Pearl complained.

"It wouldn't have made a difference, we're going faster than an ambulance would." Garnet replied.

"Yes we are, but the paramedics could've helped Steven on the way to the hospital!" Pearl snapped.

"Grr Would you two knock it off? Steven is in the back seat literally dying, but you two can't stop arguing? We need to focus on him and amethyst right now. Specifically him." Peridot shouted.

She never shouts like that.

Steven managed to open his eyes again, finding peridot hugging him, his arm still being tightly held by the tiny green gem.

Steven felt so guilty.

From then to the er Steven was fading in and out of conciseness.

They pulled up to the er doors, finally..
