A/N: There's gonna be some mild angst in this chapter. Some fan favourites may meet a dire fate. Also, this chapter happens in multiple places and there would be multiple location switches.
Salvatore School, Mystic Falls
"Caroline, that conversation was enlightening. I'm going to go off to New Orleans to find a solution to this issue." Elijah informed before he left the room.
"Alright, we gotta go back home as Stefanie will be coming back from her school soon," Elena informed as she and Damon shook their hands with Caroline before leaving.
"I'll stay. I have a lot to catch up with Caroline," Stefan said as he smiled at the blonde vampire.
After testing Stefan if he had any supernatural issues with the help of Emma Tig and Dorian Williams, she showed him around the school. She had already tested Elijah and found that he had no supernatural issues.
"I see that you've put our house to good use, Caroline," Stefan smiled.
It was still surreal for Caroline to be with Stefan, her Stefan.
"Is that uncle Stefan?" Lizzie yelled as she ran over to hug him tightly.
"And you are?" Stefan cocked his eyebrow.
"Lizzie. Lizzie Saltzman" She introduced herself in James Bond style.
"Stefan. Salvatore." He introduced himself as well.
"Where is Josie?" Stefan asked.
"Well, she is in London," Caroline replied with a thoughtful look. She missed Josie.
"And Alaric?" He asked again.
"He's off exploring the world and himself," Caroline returned.
"Sounds like Alaric." Stefan remarked.
"Like uncle Damon used to say, you really do have hero hair" Lizzie's remark made Caroline roll her eyes but Stefan just chuckled.
"Yup, this is hero hair," Stefan replied as he played with his hair.
"You're officially the cooler brother," Lizzie asserted.
"Thank you." Stefan said.
With that, Caroline dragged Stefan away to another part of the school.
New Orleans, a few hours later
Elijah entered the Mikaelson compound, AKA his house.
"Kol! you wanker!" Rebekah stopped scolding her youngest older brother as she saw Elijah.
She couldn't speak as tears clouded her vision. All she did was vamp-speeding towards Elijah and hugging him.
Elijah also hugged her back tightly.
"Rebekah, my dear sister. Why are you so silent?" Kol climbed down the stairs to find Rebekah hugging Elijah.
"Kol, you heartless bastard! Come down here!" Rebekah screamed at the top of her lungs as Kol tried to climb up.
"Alright, Alright." Kol apologised as he came down.
"Hi Elijah. Good to see you," Kol smirked, but after hugging Elijah, he sniffled.
"What is going on here?" Freya asked from the first floor, but her facial expression changed once she saw Elijah.
She immediately climbed down and hugged Elijah. She broke the hug after about 10 seconds and asked, "How are you alive, Elijah?"
"Hope's friend Landon resurrected me from Limbo. Hope is in grave danger." Elijah got everyone's attention as Marcel, Keelin and Davina joined Rebekah, Freya and Kol, respectively.
Elijah told the entire story now to his family. From him being sent from limbo, talking with Hope, who was now having an alias Andrea and then, to cap it all off, Stefan being resurrected back from the dead.
"So, you and Klaus died in vain then? Killing yourselves off for defeating The Hollow?" Rebekah was in tears again. She had lost track of the amount of tears she had shed in the past couple of hours.
"We will not let it go in vain. We will prepare for The Hollow's arrival and also for Katherine," Freya asserted.
"Rebekah, you need to calm down. We need you calm to help Hope," Marcel consoled Rebekah.
ICS, London
"Hope, go to our room and compel SK. I'll make sure that the weapon is safe," Josie instructed Hope, after which the tribrid whooshed away from the place.
"Hi, this is Josie. I'm calling about the staff," Josie said through the phone.
"Dude! Don't worry, I'll keep it safe," the voice from the other side of the line reassured Josie.
"I'm calling you because Hope told me that Ken, Inadu and Katherine are planning something in limbo and it's not good," Josie warned.
"Dude, I assure you, the weapon is safe." The voice was confident.
"Ok, I believe you," Josie cut her phone call after that.
Hope, meanwhile, in her room couldn't have eye contact with SK again as he was in the attached washroom of the room.
"Life's a boat, my bro,
Drive it safely, bro,
If you get stuck in love, bro,
You'll get sucked into a quicksand, bro..." SK was singing in Tamil so Hope couldn't understand it. His voice sounded excited, so she guessed that it must have been a happy song. Hope chuckled. He was a very good singer, even though she couldn't actually understand what he was singing.
After about 10 minutes, he came outside completely naked. Hope's eyes scanned his entire body as she bit her lower lips. SK was shocked by such a sultry look on her face which gave him a realisation as he immediately closed the door and came out with a towel wrapped over his lower part of the body.
Hope was supposed to compel him, but instead, she found herself drooling all over him. What was wrong with her? Is he a normal human or does he have this superpower to make people fall hard for him? She had to control her outrageous thoughts.
SK was feeling way too uncomfortable. Well, he was actually feeling pretty good. He did not do that whole coming out of the bathroom thing intentionally. The man actually thought the room was empty, but he was surprised when he found Hope there. It almost felt like Steve Trevor from Wonder Woman for him at that moment. He had already wiped off all the water from his body. All he had to do now was change the dress and get ready for the day.
After wearing his dress, Hope went up to SK and instead of compelling him, she ended up looking deep into his eyes. He too found himself being sucked into the endless ocean that was Hope's eyes.
It felt like forever until Josie's voice interrupted their moment.
"What's going on here?" Josie asked with hands folded.
Alright, this was the moment. It just took some courage on her part and carefully wording stuff to make her compulsion work.
"SK..." Hope started.
The Woods, Mystic Falls
"Ken, as of now, we actually don't know where your daughter is. So, I say we start off my little revenge mission first," Katherine gleefully suggested.
"I know where my daughter hid previously.." Ken's speech was interrupted again.
"Which, I'm pretty sure she would have changed after the last time you caught her," Katherine rolled her eyes.
"Ken, you promised to help us if we help you. Now's the time to keep your promise," Inadu said to Ken.
After that, the three of them went to Gilbert's residence as Ken flew them there. Inadu changed Ken's costume into a normal pair of grey T-shirt and black pants to make him look inconspicuous. Katherine rolled her eyes at Inadu's terrible taste.
Katherine went on to find that the house was empty. As the three of them heard the sound of a car nearing the house, they went in the direction of the sound.
"Katherine?!" Damon rolled his eyes incredulously while Elena looked on at the former devil in fear.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna kill you two so soon" Katherine cackled as she broke the car door and dragged Damon out of the car which resulted in Elena too being dragged out of the car as the human doppelgänger was holding her husband's right hand.. Then, the ferryman (or ferrywoman) punched both of them in the face, knocking them out.
"Wait! We could use them for information" Inadu went on to touch Damon's right shoulder with her left hand and interlocked Elena's right hand with her right hand.
"Ken, Katherine, these people have already talked with Elijah"
"And where is he?" Ken asked again.
"New Orleans," Inadu replied with a smirk.
"What do we do about these 2, then?" Katherine asked.
"I've made them unconscious. Only death can bring them back to consciousness," Inadu replied.
"It's time to go to New Orleans then," Katherine remarked.
"Not without the weapon," Ken returned.
"Think about it this way. If Hope was anything like his father, she would be the only one who knows about your weapon. Ergo, we need to find her. And, we can do that only if we track down Elijah," Katherine explained.
"Fair enough. Let's go to this New Orleans then," Ken relented.
Katherine held on to Ken's left hand and Inadu held on to Ken's right hand as the god held them both and flew for New Orleans.
Salvatore School, Mystic Falls
As Caroline and Stefan were walking around by the old mill, there was this sudden bright blue light after which a blonde man with dark blue eyes and a olive skinned woman with hazel green eyes appeared.
Caroline and Stefan found themselves looking at their new unannounced guests with wide eyes.
A/N: Previously I had actually revealed the characters' names but this time you'll have to wait for the next chapter to find out who they are. I got this idea only on a rewrite. I'm evil I know. I think you would have already guessed them at this point but you can only confirm it in the next chapter. Plus, Damon and Elena, well sadly it is what it is. Also, who did Josie talk with in her phone? In future, chapters might get more violent. I'll put up a warning before the violent chapters though.
