12. Letter to Readers

Hey everyone, It has been a while. A few years at least. I am now 19 and that is a crazy thing to say, and while I genuinely never thought I would ever touch again (I have transitioned over to reading on ao3 and generally haven't touched Twilight in awhile due to problematic details about it that I feel uncomfortable with, as well as just general disinterest with it as a whole). A very loving, a say this with as much sarcasm in the world, anonymous guest review made me write this out of spite almost entirely.

I do not know if I will ever fully commit back to this, my writing style has changed as I have grown and I know that writing anything new would cause the plot to differentiate from my original idea, no matter how juvenile it was. As well as my issues that I had with being slightly more bitchy towards female characters due to internal conflicts. I generally have no idea how to fix these issues in the story, as well as not being as attuned to the characters as I used to be, since again I mainly interact with newer fandoms and those are all geared towards more gay ships as well as they are majority anime or mangas which are quite drastically different than Twilight in a few places. I have an account on ao3 that I have debated on starting fanfics on, but I feel as if I would have to work on writing fanfic again instead of my other hobbies. Plus the fandoms would have changed, I think I keep stating that though so maybe the point has been made haha.

Thank you to those that have stuck around even though I don't understand why. Shoutout to the guest review that told me to give up writing because now I am almost willing to start writing again, to vent if anything. I do not know why they thought that a years old Twilight and Hotel Translyvania fic was the best way to broadcast their feelings about an incredibly younger version of myself's writing but alas.

Its 5 AM here and I am buying the new Legend of Zelda game soon so I will be busy with that and rewatching a few animes for background noise but I hope everyone the best! I will be checking the reviews so you can leave the comments there and I will get back to you hopefully! Bye everyone!
