"No way" Masane gasped "you seriously are a robot?"
"I believe that the fact I made it clear that I am an alien from another planet, one made out of metal, Masane" Bumblebee said as he switched his hand to a gun
"Whoa, can most of you guys do that?" she asked looking at the weapon
"Oh yeah, but considering I'm a scout I only get small weapons" Bumblebee shrugged
"Okay" Masane said
"You should see Ironhide's guns" he chuckled as he scanned the area looking for the Decepticons
"Ironhide?" Masane asked
"The Autobot Armoury master and weapons expert" Bumblebee told her "He's a big softy to his friends, but he's enemies better look out"
"Oh cool" Masane said happily as she looked back at the car wash
"You better head back" Bumblebee said
"okay" Masane nodded running back as Bumblebee snapped his battle mask down and used it to scan the area
"Huh, looks like they left." Bumblebee mused
"Hey there you are, where did you go?" Minato asked
"Oh, just driving my car" Masane smirked
"And where is it?" Minato asked
"Out of fuel" Masane told him as she grabbed a bottle of water
"Why do I not believe you" Minato glared at her
"Well, I'm not" Masane said throwing the bottle in the nearby bin
"Nice shot" Minato complimented her
"thanks" she said smiling
"No worries sis, look you aren't doing anything dangerous are you?" Minato asked concerned
"No I'm not, relax and don't worry about this okay bro, I got this" Masane said
"I hope so" he muttered.
A couple of days later Bumblebee sat in Jiraiya's garage thinking over what had happened that day
"That autobot, who was he?" Bumblebee asked, trying to think of who it could have been on this planet before he got there, he was curious is the Ark even survived their stunt with the space bridge
"Hey Bee, you doing okay?" Masane asked as she walked in, a cup of steaming liquid
"I am, while I was out there a friend of mine possibly drove them off.
"Okay cool" Masane said
"Not cool, confusing" Bumblebee said
"how so?" Masane asked sipping hr drink. "and you can transform in here right?"
"I think so" Bumblebee said as he transformed into his robot mode "A little cramped, but over all okay"
"Good to hear" Masane said
"Hey Masa" Minato shouted as he walked in and saw Bumblebee "WHAT THE!"
"Don't freak out" Masane said
"Too Late" the two guys said
"What is that?" Minato asked
"Thats is Bumblebee, an autonomous robotic life form scout who crashed landed on this planet while stop[ping those that he's people was at war with" Bumblebee snidely said
"Nice to meet you, and Bumblebee?" Minato asked
"Blame her" Bumblebee said
"HEY!" Masane snapped
"It's true" Bumblebee stated
"Yeah yeah" Masane said "Give him the rundown"
"Rundown?" Minato asked
"Listen up while I give you the lowdown on the War for Cybertron; and how it lead to me being here" Bumblebee said.
"That was close" the Autobot that lead the decepticons away from the natives said, he was wondering what they were doing with that liquid and non transforming alt-forms. But one of them he swore as an Autobot scout who was a legend in the army. "Was that B-127?"
"HEY ROOKIE!" Tracks shouted as the group of Autobots had walked over to them
"What were you doing?" asked
"They were getting close to the natives who were doing whatever that was" the autobot said
"That was a wash event, something the natives called Humans do here now and then." Ironhide told them
"Okay" the Autobot said
"Now new guy who are you?" Arcee asked
"Name's Downshift" he said
"Wait weren't you in the sea or Rust?" Ironhide asked
"Yeah, I was, me and my unit" Downshift said
"So how are you here?" Arcee asked
"Blame a secret lab in the sea, one of Shockwave's lab that looked like it was a pre war one" Downshift said
"Incredible, he must have been experimenting with the space bridge since then" Ironhide stated.
"I'm guessing" Downshift said.
"Wow" Minato simply stated
"You broke him," Masane smiled looking at Bumblebee
"well what did you expect, it's not a simple story after all" Bumblebee shot back
"True" Masane sighed
"So what are we going to do if we run into these Decepticons?" Minato asked
"Not much," Bumblebee shrugged "especially since there's not many of them around these days." Bumblebee said
"But some were close by to the car wash" Masane stated
"WHAT!" Minato exclaimed
"That one is on you" Bumblebee said
"I know" Masane said
"But how did you two get away?" Minato asked
"An Autobot showed up, one I didn't recognise and didn't realise was on Earth" Bumblebee informed him
"Oh, okay" Minato said "Anyway, I wanted to show you two this" he said unfurling a map
"What is it?" Bumblebee asked as he scanned it
"The Storm Valley Rally, this is the map of the valley" Minato said
"It's big" Bumblebee said
"And we'll be riding in you" Masane said
"I know" Bumblebee said frowning "You say this is a yearly event?"
"Yeah" the siblings asked "why?"
"Because I think, I know what is causing that massive storm" Bumblebee frowned
"Huh?" they asked confused.
"Ironhide, you should see the readings of Energon" Arcee said
"Where?" Ironhide asked frowning
"The Storm Valley" Downshift said
"Sounds Ominous" Tracks said
"Well the humans use the yearly storm for a race, and if what these readings are saying is true, then we have a massive storm that sits on top of a massive pile of energon!" Downshift informed them.
"Oh scrap" Ironhide said.
"We can stockpile this energon, so we can outlast the Autobots" Shatter said
"Yeah, but we need to find it, the valley is rather big" Drag strip said
"Yeah" Dead End piped up
"SO WHAT!" Shatter shouted
"Those Autobites are here" Dead End said "I'm sure that was Downshift we encountered"
"From the sea of rust campaign?" Dropkick asked
"So he is still functional, meaning that there may be more Autobots here, too bad we can't use this world's network" Shatter frowned
"No kidding" Wildride scoffed
"At least we can present their heads to Lord Megatron" Dropkick said
"Indeed, and how sweet it will be" Shatter smirked.
"So, we all good girl?" Nerumi asked
"yep, just need to figure out who sits where" Masane pondered
"Kushina will be up front" Minato said sternly
"Are you sure?' Kushina asked
"Yes, because you would be with Shigure" Minato pointed to the playboy
"Oh, how cruel" Shigure whined
"Shut it!" Minato snapped
"Well why doesn't Shigure sit up front, Minato in the middle, Kushina on the left, me on the right and Masane driving?" Nerumi asked
"Okay" the group said
"But are we going to be safe in a Beetle, don't get me wrong it's a zippy little car but I would be better if it was a Camaro" Shigure said
"Well, excuse me for not finding the forest Camaro!" Masane snapped
'Well it would be more of Bumblebee's fault' Minato sighed
"Now then, we only have two days until the race, and since the school did the fundraising, we were able to use some of the funds as an entrance fee" Kushina said
"NICE!" the group of friends said.
The next morning Bumblebee was busy scanning he available satellite data
"That storm will hit in two days, but if I'm right then that valley is filled with energon" he frowned as he scanned the internet "Oh come on, what I wouldn't give for Wheeljack's Data Accelerator right now!" he groaned, he continued to look his scouting instincts were taking over "This is so much easier then back" he stopped thinking, Cybertron how long had he been gone, what was it like now, did the war end and if so who won? These were questions that Bumblebee was dealing with right now. "That would be risky, but it could also be the thing I need right now" he thought
"I don't know Minato" Shigure was heard saying as the two guys walked in making Bumblebee go still "This is going to get us through that storm?" he asked
"yeah I do" Minato said
"Okay" Shigure shrugged
'Minato plus I'm sure Bee is going to be better than any of them' he smirked as the two looked over the map that the organizer had provided
"I Swear that car is looking at me from time to time" Shigure muttered
"It's just your mind playing tricks man" Minato said 'seriously bee?' Minato asked as he went back to the map and looked over a few things.
"Be careful, we need those instruments for the energon" Shatter said as he was watching over Dead End, Drag strip and Wildride setting up equipment to help detect where energon would be in the valley
"Then why use them?" Dropkick asked
"Because they're on hand, and I don't dare sully my hands with inferior substances" she said.
"Oh I see" Dropkick nodded
"No you don't" Shatter sighed "and soon we need a way to bring the rest of our forces here"
"I see, but what if we encounter the Autobugs?" Dropkick asked
"Then we squash them like the wormoids they are" Shatter grinned evilly
"Good, I've been wanting to pound some steel since we got here" Dropkick laughed
"Especially the one that got away from you: B-127" Shatter frowned
"Yeah him" Dropkick snarled "I still do not know how that pest got into the hangar bay"
"It was an Autobot facility, so he must have had prior knowledge into the area. But soon he will be ours!" Shatter smiled.
"The cons are probably scanning for that energon" Arcee said looking pissed
"Ease the servos Arcee, we know where the energon might be, so why not let the cons do the hard work while we do the fun work?" Ironhide asked
"The fun 'work'" Tracks said "You just want to blast some con right?"
"And what if I do, look we're still at war with them, even if we're not on Cybertron at the moment" Ironhide said
"Think we'll ever go back?" Downshift asked
"I know we will" Ironhide said triumphantly "Even if I have no idea on the when or how, but we will" he smiled before a coded signal was played over their comlinks
"What was that?" Downshift frowned
"I'm not sure" Arcee said
"It was on an Autobot frequency, but I would have to listen to it again to understand what it was and where it came from" Tracks said
"Do it, we need all the help we can get" Ironhide told them, unaware that it was Bumblebee trying to call them.
G'day Guys Grizz here, and yeah the valley they're racing in has Energon and now Minato knows about the war for Cyberton and we meet a new Autobot. For those who don't remember Downshift he showed up in Legacy of the Lost as the personal ride/protector of Mami Tomoe who is Gray's girlfriend and will have a more of a role in Roar of the Beasts. But I'm not saying what it is, also the original idea with the signal at the end was to actually have Bumblebee speak to them, but I figured this way would build on the excitement when they see him next
