Jack was in the middle of giving his best man speech. "Although Vlad and I have had our differences, I've always viewed this man as my brother." he said. Everyone at the wedding was smiling and saying "aww", but Danny, Sabrina, Jen, Jonesy and Nikki felt disgusted knowing that Jack felt that way about the guy who's wanted to steal his wife from him for 20 years. "Sometimes I wish my dad knew who Vlad really was, it hurts to hear those words come out of his mouth." Danny whispered to Sabrina. "I know! He cares so much about the guy, and yet he has no idea Vlad hates him and will stop at nothing to steal you and your mom from him." she whispered back.
Meanwhile Jonesy had been sulking the entire time, he wanted the wedding to end so that he would never see Ann or Vlad ever again. "How could she just toss our family aside like a soda can then live her best life!? It makes me sick! I was a kid, a kid who needed his mom, and she was busy fucking five dudes. I don't know how she can look at herself in the mirror!" he thought to himself bitterly. Nikki could tell Jonesy was in a bad place, so she tried to comfort him. She placed her hand on his back. He turned around to find that it was her. The two smiled at one another. Even though she didn't say it out loud, that told him all he needed to know - she was in his corner through all of this.
Eventually, it was time for the officiation. "Vlad Masters, do you take Ann Alejandra Garcia to be your lawfully wedded wife?" the officiater asked. "I do." Vlad said in a dark tone, smiling sinisterly. Soon, everyone begun turning on Jack, Danny, and Sabrina. "What's happening?" Sabrina asked, scared. "I don't know!" Danny panicked. The two held on to each other. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you guys are safe!" Jonesy said, attempting to block them off but the crowd of people easily got past him and threw him to the side. "Ow! Oh no!" he begun to panic. Jonesy ran back up to the crowd but was too late. They were carrying Jack, Danny and Sabrina, mosh pit style, to the portal, which Vlad had wheeled to the chapel. He held the remote to open and close it and waited for them to get closer. Jack, Danny and Sabrina all screamed in terror as everyone carried them away.
Hilda and Zelda sat in their car outside the wedding chapel, windows rolled down. They heard Jack, Danny and Sabrina scream and knew they were in trouble. The two of them rushed to the outside of the chapel. "Hey! My feline legs can only run so fast!" Salem said, running behind them. The three of them saw the chapel full of people carrying Danny, Jack and Sabrina towards the ghost portal, about to chuck them in. "Oh, this is bad! What's a good spell?" Zelda asked. She and Hilda tried to come up with one.
"Don't listen to the creepy man, let the-"
Zelda begun to cast a spell but was cut off by Jonesy screaming "STOP!!! MOM, DON'T DO THIS!"
Ann heard this and turned her attention to her eldest son. "I'm sorry, Jonesy. This is the only way. Danny and Sabrina are corrupting you against me. I don't want you to hate me anymore." Ann said. "Danny and Sabrina have nothing to do with this! Please don't hurt them, they're my friends!" he pleaded. "Ignore him, Ann. He's lying!" Vlad said.
"I'm not lying! Just listen to me! Mom, I'm not sorry for being angry about what you did. What you did was horrible, not just to my dad and my brothers but to me! I felt like if our family wasn't good enough for a mom, I wasn't a good enough son. I didn't used to be this confident guy. You took that away from me! When I was 10 years old, I had my first hockey tryout, which lead to me joining the hockey team at school from that moment forward. I found something I was good at, I felt like somehow I was enough! I lied to myself and told myself I was great, that I was hot, that all the girls wanted me, that all the guys looked up to me and I could do anything I wanted! It took me a long time to at least somewhat believe any of that, I didn't want to go back to being the old Jonesy! I became this way to fill a void that was gone when you left. The last time I ever saw you I told you I hated you, and up until today, I thought I did. I realized that even though I'm still angry, I hate what you did to me, but I don't hate you! I LOVE YOU!!" He screamed out.
Everyone stopped in their tracks. This is what caused the serum to stop it's effect in everyone. Love. The chapel full of people set down Danny, Jack and Sabrina. "You... you really mean that?" Ann said, on the verge of tears. "Yes. And I'm willing to have a relationship with you and start over. It's going to take some time for me to fully forgive you, but I'm sure we can build that up together, when I come and stay with you this summer." Jonesy told her. "Oh, Jonesy!" Ann said. The two ran up and hugged each other tightly. "I love you so much, son. I am so sorry." she said. "It's okay." he told her. Then a realization came to her - Maddie wasn't being carried into the crowd. "Oh, my God. You told me the serum wouldn't work on Maddie, you lied! You're not over her!" Ann said angrily at Vlad.
"Serum?" Sabrina asked. "Vlad injected the food and drinks with a serum that would turn everyone on you and the Fentons, and send you guys into the ghost zone." Ann explained. "That's why I didn't turn on them, I never ate or drank the food!" Jonesy realized. "It all makes sense. When Vlad said 'I do', that's what triggered the serum to go into effect. A false confession of love. It wore off when Jonesy told his mom he loved her because that was genuine love." Danny realized. "You've got a thing for my wife, and you tried to strand us in the ghost zone to steal her from me!?!" Jack yelled. "He told me that it wouldn't work on any of the Fenton's. Conveniently, it worked on Maddie. You lied, and you lied about Jack stealing her, too! And about Danny and Sabrina poisoning Jonesy against me! You never loved me, you just wanted me to do your bidding!" Ann screamed at him, realizing the truth.
Jack marched up to him and punched him square in the face, and everyone laughed. "OW! What the hell is the matter with you, you fat moron!?" Vlad snapped. "Some 'friend' you are!" Jack yelled at him. Jonesy snuck over to the ghost portal and grabbed the remote that opened and closed it. "Well, don't just stand there! Everyone, chuck him in!" he told them. He then opened the portal. "Now you've done it, Garcia!" Vlad said, getting ready to charge at Jonesy. But before he could, everyone else banded together and carried Vlad mosh pit style just like they did Jack, Sabrina and Danny, and threw him into the ghost portal. Then Jonesy kicked the portal over, causing it to shatter into pieces. "Oops." he said sarcastically with a proud smile. Danny and Sabrina ran over to Jonesy. "You did it, Jonesy! You saved us all!" Sabrina said, hugging him. "Jonesy, you are officially my hero!" Danny said. It was his turn to hug Jonesy. "Thanks, Danny. You two are my heroes." Jonesy told him.
A/N: My apologies if the wedding bit seemed sort of rushed, I myself haven't been to a wedding since I was 8 and couldn't remember a lot of what goes on at weddings, and also I'm not really a fan of weddings. Also, the reason I made Jonesy be the one to save everyone instead of Hilda, Zelda, Sabrina or Danny is because, for one, I liked the idea of a human saving the day in a world of witches and ghosts, and also because, I know Jonesy is a pretty divisive character (I like him, but I can see why others don't) so I wanted a redemption arc where he still has the same flaws in the story that he has in the show, but his good qualities are a little more prominent here and it shows that there's a reason why he is the way he is (they mention his mother once or twice in passing on 6teen but they never really tell us anything about her so I figured she could be the reason why Jonesy is the way he is, at least in my own fanfiction storylines).
