It had been a week since the group meeting and started to work as a team so far they haven't been called in for anything. They were all in the base working on their projects or just relaxing. Lincoln and Luna were in the living room playing the latest Justice League video game. When Luna's phone buzzed.
"YES, Get the team we got a mission,"
Lincoln flew to the alarm in an instant and the others ran to the war room.
"What's going on," Lynn said the first to arrive.
"We got a mission. There was a break-in at a S.T.A.R labs facility 20km away. We can be there in 10 minutes at most," Luna said, bringing up a map.
"I didn't get any alert from the league," Lola said entering the room.
"No it's directly from star labs but don't worry it's a small facility researching the effect of different EM spectrums on human brains," she explained.
"What does that even mean," Lori asked.
"How colors make people feel," Leni answers.
"So pretty easy, let's go," Lynn said, hyped up.
"I don't know, why would someone attack something like that, maybe we should call the league," Lola responded.
"Well you're not the boss, let's take a vote, all in favor," Luna said, raising her hand followed by Lincoln, Lana Luna, and Leni all raising their hands.
"Fine, let's go," Lola agreed.

"Ok, Lola takes the wheel and finds somewhere to land those who can fly or take the fall we drop in and take them," Lori said handing control off to Lola.
Lori, Lincoln, Lana, Leni, and Luna jumped out.
Lincoln flew in trying to grab one of their guns but the man shot a beam that knocked him out of the air. The beam hit hard it wasn't damaging but it felt like he had some of his strength sapped, he got back to his feet in time to see Lana also on the ground rolling to put the fire out. Lincoln took a deep breath and blew the flames out.
"What the hell are these brats," one of the men called as he took cover from Luna's sonic blasts behind a van.
"no clue the boss said no one would show up," another said firing a blast at Lori who tried to block it with her arm bands only to get sent flying back.
"shit how long till evac," one called only to be hit by a boxing glove from Lenis ring.
"that guns harness the EM spectrum in different ways: the red one recreates red sunlight and the yellow one is a high-power laser," Leni called, forming a shield to block a green beam from the goons.
"boss says not till we have the payload," the one wielding the red gun called firing and almost hitting Lincoln.
"crap plan B then," one wielding a blue gun calls, the others took his signal and started to make their way into the building.
Lincoln looked threw the walls to see what they were planning, they had the employees tied up to each other surrounding a cylinder device.
"they have hostages a dozen or so surrounding what I think is a bomb it's coated in lead I can't see it exactly," Lincoln called over coms
"It's probably an ultraviolet generator set to overload," Luna answered back.
"how do you know, "Lola asked over coms.
"I had my mechs AI hack into their systems turns out it was more than just studying the Effect of UV lights in the human brain it's to research ways to weaponize it," Luna explained.
"I'm in their system the weapons thair using are from this facility," Luna continued.
"How big with the boom be if the generator goes off," Lynn asked.
" it wouldn't be big maybe 10 meters but it would burn hot enough to reduce everything in that 10 to ash in less than a second," Luna explained.
"got an idea I run in grab the bomb run away and drop it someone it won't do damage," Lynn driving to the entrance carrying Lucy and Lola.
"thairs an abandoned quarry just over a mile from here think you can make it thair in under 30 seconds red ruby," Lola asked.
"I uh … no have super boy take it he's faster," Lynn answered.
"Ok Superboy wait till you see an opening for us to charge in then you take the generator Red Ruby run the civilians to town it's half a mile do south the rest of us will try and disarm and capture the robbers," Lola ordered.
Lincoln wasted no time before he took off followed by Lynn who before the others even enters the building she was on her second-to-last trip the others quickly blitzed the robbers and subdue wing them.
"oh dang you're right that was hot," Lincoln said landing putting his cape out.
"ok so ill call the cops for clear AH FUCK," Lola called as she was sent flying by a yellow beam.
"You fucking kids this was supposed to be easy no one would get hurt," Came a gravely voice.
Standing in the hall was a man wielding another light gun. This one looked like a cannon and had all the colors of the rainbow crossing threw.
Lola got up only to start to stumble a look of terror on her face as she got into a fighting stance.
Leni was the first to react only to get shot down her flow fading as it was absorbed by the gun.
"Now listen up you're going to let us go or im going to kill this little bitch," the man said placing the gun against Leni's head.
Having no choice the group stood down whatever that gun was, it was draining Lenis' ring and they couldn't risk anything. Once the men were outside a helicopter arrived and the group filed in the gun, never leaving Lenis back.
"Now if we even think you're following us I'll kill her so stay thair," the leader yelled out as the helicopter took off.

Once they were in the air the thugs blindfolded leni and tried to force the ring off her finger thinking quickly leni ordered the ring to use its remaining charge to get back to the base so it wouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
"Damnit do you know how much the boss would have paid us for that ring," One of the men yelled, kneeling her in the stomach.
"lay off her Roy the payday from the gun alone will set us all for life," Another called.
"but should we hand it over I mean this we could be a real threat more than just Goons," Another said.
"The boss has been good to us Owen like the black-out job was the easiest job of my life and we made 20k each," the one who had spoken earlier added
"Ya Pauls right we need to keep our cool Benny how long till we swap out the ride," another asked.
"5 minutes Bluno but you sure we have to bring the hitch let's just drop her out the window or see how she flys without the ring," Benny answers with a cackle.
"Are you nuts and have the lanterns after us for revenge? Hell no we hand her over to the boss," A female voice answers.
Leni started to feel the descent of the helicopter and felt as if one of them started to guide her out of the helicopter.
"I'm sorry about Benny he's nuts but not he's that bad once you get to know him," she explains.
"I'm Whitney and we're the rainbow gang," she explains.
"oi Ivan we ready to go," the voice she recognized as Bluno asked.
"Ya get in let's go also got word from the boss someone gotta take her somewhere and ditch her," Ivan called.
"I'll take her," Whitney said, pushing leni.
As they left Leni hurd the helicopter take off, Whitney took Her into a forest before taking off her blindfold.
"Ok here's a compass and a water bottle if you head southeast for an hour you'll get to a dinner then you can figure it out from there.
Whitney said as she began to walk away leni took her advice and made it to the dinner where they let her use their phone to call Lola for pick up.

"And that's everything anything else," a man in a brown suit asked, sitting at a desk.
"No Mr.Bucephalus, sorry we could only bring you the target you sounded interested in the other weapons thair," Greg the leader of the rainbow gang, asked.
"oh no worry I was interested because I have been working on similar devices please hand over the Cosmic blaster," Mr.Bucephalus asked.
"of course here," Greg said handing it over.
"Good now as for payment I believe we agreed I'm on 1 million for each of you're group check your accounts and it should be there and as a bonus for the unplanned intervention and your skill in handling it here," Mr.Bucephalus explained pressing a button and out of the wall came a small crate on a dolly.
"Those are prototype UV blasters similar to the ones you used today but more advanced these will let you alter the wavelength on the fly with greater power the manuals are included I'll be in contact if we have more work for you," Mr.Bucephalus.
"speaking of will we ever meet your partner," Greg asked.
"I don't have a partner just like you I report to a boss," He answers.
