They all jumped in to action as Lucy continued to pepper Bill with fire causing him to screech when she finally stopped they saw a creature with bluish gray skin from where its arm would be were 6 long thin tentacle sits legs matched its arm but each one ended in sharp blades one tentacle was wrapped around lunas arm passing it to the head that was bulbous with its own tentacles in rapid speed the tentacles ripped the arm apart and fed it to a mouth that was hidden under them.
"WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK," Luna started yelling.
"I honestly don't know it's some kinda magical creature he was using magic to hide his appearance," Lucy explained.
"You should have just sold me the book now I'm going to have to rip you to shreds and then search the house," it yelled before its tentacles reached out to grab Lucy only for her to disappear, replaced by a pillar of flame.
In a literal flash Lynn was there hitting the monster with hundreds of punches sending it flying, it was caught by Lori who took out her lasso but was stabbed by one of the tentacles of broke threw her skin and she felt as it began to suck her blood this caused her to drop it before it hit the ground tho Lincoln grabbed it and hit it with a blast of heat vision but it did nothing. 3 tentacles impaled the arm Lincoln was using to hold Lincoln quickly reacted using his super breath to freeze the tentacles then shattered them causing the monster to his Leni threw a sphere around the monster leaving just enough space to remove his arm just before the filed closed the creature was able to squeeze most of its head threw it getting cut off the lump of flesh hit the ground the remaining tentacles on its face growing and stretching long enough for it to use to run from them it successfully reached a stream the moment it hit the water it disappeared.
Back at the house Lola and Lana had taken Luna to the infirmary under the house and were trying to stop the bleeding when the vase gate opened and Cyborg stepped through.
"what's going OH GOD," He yelled running to lunas bedside
"We can't stop the bleeding there's some kinda anticoagulant," Lola yelled

He quickly drew a sample of his own blood before injecting Luna she took a deep breath before passing out the wound slowly started to stop bleeding as the nanites began to multiply, grid told Cyborg to bring his cybernetic arm closer to her exposed wound it began to slowly transfer bits of the tech from his arm to hers reforming into a new arm for her it slowly began to to moving ach of the new built fingers touching the palm before making a first then relaxing, the monster showed her heart rate stabilizes. His own heart rate fell back to normal.
"Where is the son of a bitch who did this," Cyborg asked.
"gone kinda it was some kind of monster it got its head cut in half and still escaped," Lucy explained entering the Infirmary.
Lucy then explained what had happened finally at the end of it all Luna woke up.
"What the hell is in that book," was the first thing she asked.
"a Map," was all Lucy said.
