Ashen Blade princess chapter 2-first lessons
This will cover chapters 1-3 of parts 1 of the story. I will cover events and set up Shirou/ byleth as they navigate the school and gain new students to their side.
I will set up the story for those as well as get into the Ashen wolves joining up as well.
Byleth pov
I first greeted my new class and tried to take on the poses Rin often did with me in my previous life. The first thing the class leader Claude did was to try and charm me. but even if my current mind was attracted to men and women alike. He wouldn't win me over like that. I just replied to the younger boy "you will have to try harder than that." Then each member of the class tried their own ways to win me over but I handled them with my own levels of comments.
After that, Shez and I met with Hanneman, the professor that knew the most about crests and he revealed we had the major and minor versions of a strange unknown crest. He knew it was an unknown crest but sent us away saying he would need to investigate it further. After that, Rhea gave me given a teacher's room with a schedule of events to keep track of. she said monks would send me it. Then Seteth took me to my room on the first floor and told me for now I would be on the commoner's level, but I was happy to mostly have a room, due to my memories as byleth mostly camping out or staying in hotels.
After that, he said I could explore the monastery but not fully until I could prove my trust and the guards got used to me. He promised me after a few days I could fully explore the areas around. I then wandered around the areas I could and learned the layouts from the students. One of which being a very shy girl that ran back into her room right after I met her. After that I checked the green house to see a giant flower that was even rare in my former world. Then after that I check the notice board in my room to see a few things people needed help with.
I then started to help those in need until meeting with Rhea to learn the first mission was a battle between the three houses and told us it would be a mock battle with wooden weapons to teach us the places we need to improve. I ended up leading the golden deer to victory in the battle with the help of some trick Claude pulled out, but Shez managed to get a good hit on me in turn. At the end of the battle, I shared praise with my students and the dark-skinned boy among them revealed he had a few tricks if needed.
After that. Rhea heaped me with praise and said I could explore other areas of the monastery as I pleased. Then Seteth told me we would do this battle again in a few months and I would have to raise my students to the next level by then. She also told me; I would have a mission to complete at the end of the month to clear some bandits out of a major trade path and as part of training we would complete other missions as well.
It was after I returned to my room and closed the door, the spirit Sothis addressed me again about the bandits and revealed she would share my mind space with me from now on and would like to experience all that I could.
About a day later, I met with Rhea with Claude in tow and Seteth told us the mission to get rid of the bandits would give us battle experience we needed, and we would get help from the knights to do our mission. After that I met with my father and he told me that he couldn't help but the rest of the mercenary band would likely be able to support the students and I if I managed to get the word out.
I then spent the early parts of the month teaching the students in class while wandering around the town parts of the monastery. I was able to recruit the mercenary band and divide them into units for my students and I while also being able to recruit other units that I didn't expect to also be able to recruit other units as well but soon figure out, neither my students nor myself were prepared to use them yet. After that, I met with the choir coordinator and head chef to have the cook with the help of my students.
It was on my second week of explorations, I ended up finding a strange area under the academy called the abyss and some part of me told me, I would be able to find allies within. I then went into the area called the Abyss and felt a familiar feeling and the spirit within me said "that feeling is another timeline another version of you was here and met some of the people here." I then wandered around until I found four different people in uniforms for the officers' school and asked them if they wanted to join my class and each accepted if helped them achieve their goals. I also found a place to collect rare weapons, since I still couldn't get my unlimited blade works to function properly yet. As well as a ledger that would help me get to know my students better as well as the students in the other three houses.
It was after a few more weeks of classes that I learned the knights pinned the bandits down to a place called the Red Canyon. On entering the canyon, the spirit told me she would share her power over time with me. Then Claude wondered also why it was called the red canyon. But he just accepted and hoped the course of the battle would reveal such. We then battled our way through the base while finding some of the treasures along the way. When we made it to the leader's lair and managed to take him out with ease after I had to turn back time to make sure the students survived. After the battle Claude praised me and then Sothis spoke as if she knew the area. I mostly remembered this place being peaceful but the spirit inside me felt all kinds of emotions related to it like this place had a connection who she really was. She was at least grateful that I got rid of the bandits but wasn't sure why she felt it. on getting back, Claude asked me about the canyon, and I replied that "I felt like I should know the place." Then on meeting with Rhea, she revealed to me that a goddess came there. Then the woman before being told me about the goddess and how she helped the people and that the religion she headed was based on said goddess. It was then the spirit within me wondered about her connection with the canyon and the goddess.It was a few days later, and I went to see Rhea, she then gave me a new mission to deal with a minor lord trying to rally troops against the church. She also called for another knight named Catherine to help us when it came battle later this month. I had to both teach class and try and help with other things through the monastery. I had to help set up a few shops, get the lost and found box fully set up in my room, help set up the advice box and learn from the other teachers.
By the time all of that was done, the knight has lured the lord to a battlefield on a marsh that was full of mist and when I met Claude to learn the knight helping us held one of the hero's relics called thunderbrand and that they were pretty much ten noble phantasm level weapons, that had been passed among the families of the heroes that aided the goddess in battle.
When we asked why the man would try to do a rebellion the female knight revealed it was connected to a tragedy four years ago and that Dimitri's father was killed by the people of Duscar. With the lord's son involved in the plot and had to be executed by the church he held a grunge.
When we were about to clean up the lord's forces, we soon learned he was using the fog to hide a much larger force. I knew our best weapon in this battle would be to use torches to dispel the fog to prevent ambushes. But with the help of Catherine and her sword we were able to make it to the lord's base in the marsh and take him out. I wasn't happy about having to kill the man, but I was sure I would need the help of my sister to get info about the blue lions' students if more on this Duscar issue came up.
It was after that, Claude told me about a legend of one of the hero relics being about to cut a mountain in half. I wasn't sure if it was thunderbrand or something else but if these relics were on the level of things like Excalibur it was possible, they could do that much damage or more. When I asked Claude, he hinted they might need the power of the crests to draw out their full powers. he then revealed the relics needed crests to fully work and that made me wonder if I would Shez and I would need to unlock the power of our crests to fully draw out the powers of our former lives. Then while I was thinking about that Claude revealed he recently became the heir to the Lester alliance and had a crest of his own.
It was then that I returned to report to Rhea and learned the coming month would involve a rite by the goddess and they would need the help of all the students to make sure everything went as planned.

the next chapter will have our hero meet a new enemy and gain new tools.
but first Ichigo will have to use all this knowledge to face a two dangerous enemies
