At the Noceda Houseā¦
Vee was on the couch as she was getting ready to meet the rest of her new family.
The papers were finally written for her to be adopted as things were being sorted out by their new family dynamic. Camilla was still weary about the Demon Realm, but she agreed to let Luz learn about her father's world, on the condition she would check in with her mother and be back when autumn comes. The mother felt like she owed it to her daughter to learn better about the realm she loved and maybe even see its beauty. Just one baby step at a time, just one baby step at a time. Meanwhile, Vee could stay in the Human Realm and learn more about humanity but still needs to check in with her new father.
The basilisk was offered to leave the Menagerie and learn to be citizens. Most preferred to stay as they showed no interest while the more violent ones were already refused since they had shown too hostile. Vee was a little disappointed that not more of her kind wanted to leave, but they seem perfectly happy at the Menagerie. Vee was thrilled to finally get the one thing she wanted so badly, freedom. Not just freedom now, she now has a loving family from both worlds.
"Alright now, boys. Not all of us are here yet because your older brother Atticus will be coming in three days with his hubby and big news. So, try to make a good impression on your new cousin. She's a little bit skittish around new people." Belos informed the witches outside with gifts in their hands.
"This is a sweet day! Atty is coming home, and we get a new cousin, who is an awesome snake girl!" Spade grinned with delight.
"It would be interesting to learn more about basilisk culture and understand their role in the ecosystem before their extinction," Will added as his Palisman squeaked in his crown form.
"Alright, alright, just don't get weird about it, guys. Remember, she's just started, so try to give her space." Hunter signed at the two.
Vee chuckled a bit at the sounds of her new cousins, feeling a bit nervous to meet her extended family. She took deep breaths as Belos entered the living room.
"How are you doing, my Dear?" Belos greeted his newly adopted daughter.
"G-good." She stuttered a bit a Belos chuckled.
"No need to be frightened, I think you'll get along just fine with the boys." He assured her, "Are you ready?"
She nodded then he let the boys in, who were already enamored with her. Belos chuckled as he was happy to see that they were already getting along. Camilla soon came home with fast food with Luz to help everyone get settled in.
"Did you get the doughnuts?" Will wondered.
"Yep, enough for the whole HAS. Hopefully, this will help them realize that these are the type of disks they should eat." Luz answered.
Camilla laughed a little bit as she handed out the kids' food.
