Hi Readers: What do you like of some of the news that I shared with you guys last chapter? Well, I have decided to stay with the Halsteads for a bit longer; especially since I have an idea for them, which I hope you enjoy. Thanks for reading. By the way, sorry for the delay in posting this. I had to do some other things, and then got distracted. But still, enjoy.

Quick Note to Readers: Before we begin, I want to address the whole Natalie can't come because of work (she can). We all know that we could have another reason, that being Owen. However, I have decided that I do not want Natalie to have a kid yet (until she has one with Will). I hope you understand my choice to take this creative decision. Now, back to the story.

The Caseys: Parenthood Begins - Short Story
Chapter Five

She decided to put on some sexy lingerie for Jay, her loving husband whom she loves more than anything the entire world; after all, Alex did always want to have Jay's hands all over her body, even more so while she's been pregnant. And she was currently getting her wish, as Jay currently had his hands all over her body right now; and she was sure that it was due to the fact that she was wearing this sexy lingerie, the lingerie that she just put his hands on (along with her sides) as they stood together at the end of the bed. Smiling at Jay as she wrapped her arms around his neck, Alex smiled as she leaned in and kissed him softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that Alex is so damn sexy. He then proceeded to bend down so that he could kiss her neck softly, which is another thing that Alex wanted him to do; and he knew that because she just placed her hand on the back of his head, before running her fingers through his hair.

"God, you really know how to please a woman." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before standing up again as he wrapped his arms around her; at the same time, Alex put her hands on his arms and kissed him softly. Just taking things slow with Alex again, Jay smiled as this was exactly what he wants to do right now; he wants to hold his gorgeous, pregnant wife close to him as they share a nice kiss this morning. However, it wasn't long before Jay moved his hands to her sides; the sides that will one day be the frame to the beautiful baby bump that was soon going to grow out of his wife's stomach. While she isn't showing yet (as it's so early), he can't wait for her to start showing as it'll be great; especially when it means that he gets to run his hands all over her pregnant body. "I swear, I really hate that we asked Will and Natalie to stay here. Means that I can't get this as much because we have to be quiet." Jay sighed when he heard Alex say that but agreed.

"First of all, it's just Will remember? Natalie couldn't come because of work." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, before giving him a nice smile. "If only we could entice them to move here and be with us, that means that we'd have family close to us." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, as he was quite interested in having the same. In fact, he was about to tell her that; however, they were interrupted by Max before he could. Max being his new Golden Retriever service dog for PTSD. Barking at Jay once again, Max just wagged his tail. At the same time, Alex turned her head and looked at Max. "Morning Max, I think you're excited for a reason today; you get to meet your uncle Will today." Jay then thought about what Alex said, before taking a breath; he knows that he can't keep this secret from her much longer. He needs to tell her at some point because she needs to help him, as well as Will do this. "Okay, I need to be honest with you about something."

Alex looked at Jay when he said that. "Okay, what did you do?" Jay laughed a bit when he heard Alex say that. "OK. So listen, I know I said that Natalie wasn't coming. But it was because Will told me not to." Alex looked at her husband when he said that. "Seriously? And you listen to him over your wife?" Jay sighed when Alex asked him that, before hearing Max bark at him again; the dog seemingly knowing that his human owner was in trouble. "See, even Max knows that it was a bad idea." Jay took a breath when he heard Alex say that, before proceeding to walk over to his closet clad in nothing but his boxers (which Alex loves to look at). "Ok. There's actually a reason why I didn't tell you that Natalie is coming, and you need to give me a chance to explain; and you need to help me out too." Opening his dresser, Jay proceeded to grab some socks before (quickly) putting them on. Yes, socks. Jay wears socks because he only wears shoes here if he's not at the beach.

Why he doesn't wear shorts is beyond explanation by the wife, but she doesn't question it anymore as she just lets her husband do his own thing; just like he lets her do her own thing when it comes to clothes and will do for the entirety of her pregnancy. Going to grab his jeans again once he had his socks on, Jay smiled as he turned to face his beautiful wife while he put them on (as a way to tease her); and, so that he can explain why Natalie is coming. "Okay, so the reasons that Natalie is coming is because Will is surprising her with something; something that I need to swear you to secrecy about, because you can't reveal it." Alex just looked at Jay when he said that, before watching as he went ahead and did up his belt. "What would that be?" Jay sighed as he looked at his wife. "Natalie becomes Ms. William Halstead on Saturday." Alex was shocked when she heard Jay say that they were getting married on Saturday. "Hold on a second. Does Natalie…"

Jay shook his head when Alex asked him whether Natalie knows about the plans (for them to get married on Saturday). "No, she doesn't know the plans for them to get married; which is why Will asked me not to tell you that they were getting married, as he didn't want to risk her finding out." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, before watching as he grabbed a shirt. She then looked at him, smirking as she wagged her finger. "Come here first." Jay smirked when he heard Alex say that, well aware of just what his wife wants right now. She wants to run her hands around his chest as they touch each other, which is something that he definitely wants to do as well; after all, his wife is currently just wearing some sexy lingerie which he is definitely enjoying. Walking up to his beautiful, pregnant wife…Jay smirked as he once again put his hands on her sides while bringing Alex close to his chest; the chest that was very muscular, and that Alex very much liked.

And Jay knew that Alex liked it, and it was why he always worked out his chest whenever he got the chance to do that. "You like the feeling of my shirtless chest, don't you baby?" Alex agreed with Jay when he asked her if she liked the feeling of his shirtless chest under her hands, which she very much does; her husband is very handsome, and very muscular. "Oh, I very much do." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before proceeding to get close to her. Leaning in, Jay smiled as he kissed his beautiful wife softly; after which, Alex put her hands on his chest and just took things nice and slow with the man she loves. "God, I hate that we need to go to the airport to get Will and Natalie; I would much rather stay here and do this…" Jay then decided to bend down and leave a kiss on her neck, which was everything that his wife wanted from him right now. Grabbing the back of his head, Alex moaned as it was extremely sexy; and boy did it help with her hormones right now.

Wrapping her arm around his head, Alex moaned and just enjoyed the feeling of Jay leaving soft kisses on her neck; and god, that was perfect. The way his lips feel on her neck is everything that she wants right now, an d she's so glad that she's the only woman who will ever get to feel his lips like this ever again. "God, you are so damn sexy." Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, well aware that she was very turned on right now. Pulling away from her neck, Jay smiled as he turned his head. After which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves softly. Just taking things nice and slow with Alex, Jay smirked due to the fact that she was incredibly happy right now. "Listen, as much as I love doing this with you; I need to go make you some breakfast, because we need to leave for the airport in like 45 minutes." Alex agreed with Jay as she said that, before smiling as she went ahead and turned around to get dressed; but not before Jay squeezed her ass.

"JAY!" Jay laughed when he heard Alex yell after he squeezed her butt, knowing that she does in fact love it when he does that. "Oh shut up, you know that you love it when I do that." Grabbing his shirt once again, Jay proceeded to make his way over to his dresser so that he could put some deodorant on. Grabbing it, Jay smiled as he put it on before turning to look at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "What do you think about me trying to get Will to move here?" Alex was shocked when she heard Jay ask her that, as she was confused. "What?"

They decided to move this conversation into the main area of their condo so that they could have more space, and so that Alex could sit on the couch while Jay makes her breakfast. Still, Jay does know that this conversation was out of the blue; and the truth was, he just said it because it was on his mind and wanted to talk about it. Sure, does he like the friends that they have here in Hawaii? Of course he does, but he also misses his brother. Plus, he has an idea for a project that he wants to start; but first, he needs to get Matt to sign off on it. Which is why he's been working sometimes as Alex takes a nap. "Okay, so are we just going to dance around the subject? Or are you going to tell me why exactly you want to try and get Will to move here?" Jay sighed as he went to grab some bread, before putting it in the toaster so that he can explain to Alex his plans. "I'm trying to get a project starting under Casey Police." Alex agreed with Jay. "I thought you had authority."

Jay took a breath. "I do have authority, but only to a certain extent. I need to get some space here in the building to use, which means that I need to get Matt's permission." Alex was confused as she heard Jay say that, unaware of what exactly he was talking about. "Okay, you're going to need to take things slow with me; and you're going to have to give me context." Looking at his wife when she said that, Jay smirked. "Oh, I love taking things slow with you." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, well aware of the type of slow he was talking about; however, that was not the type of slow that she was talking about at the moment. "Okay, nice try. That's not the slow I mean. I'm talking about you telling me just what's going on." Jay agreed with his wife when she said that, before going to start making them some smoothies. "You know the health and fitness centre?" Alex agreed. "Yeah, not much health in there; they don't have a clinic…" Alex then realized something.

"That's how you want to get Will and Natalie to stay?" Jay bit his lip as Alex asked him that question, as that was not entirely the case. "Not exactly. There's something else that I want to put there instead. I want to do a PTSD Clinic." Alex thought about it, and smiled at her husband. "Jay, that would be a great thing to have. I have never really heard about them." Jay agreed with Alex when she said that, before smiling at his wife. "I was thinking of sending Matt an e-mail with the idea, but they're in the hospital; and I just want him to think about it." Alex agreed with her husband when he told her that, but she decided that it was time for him to do that before they fill up all the floors. "You should tell him Jay before they fill up all the floors." Jay agreed with his wife, smiling as he went to start the blender; at the same time, Alex grabbed her phone. "I think I might wait until after their kids are home. I mean, that's not fair to him." Alex sighed.

She then decided to take it upon herself by texting Matt. 'Jay's idea, not mine. PTSD clinic at HQ, Health and Fitness Center' Alex then went to set her phone down so that she could hide the fact that she just texted Matt while he was in the hospital. However, it seemed that Matt was already on the phone this morning; after all, he did just call her. Seeing Matt was calling, Alex took a breath. "Jay, I have to take this okay?" Jay laughed. "Your dad?" Alex sighed, going to pick up.

Alex's POV:
As I picked up the call that I just got from Matt this morning, I took a breath as I was hoping that he wouldn't call. "Shit, I hoped that you wouldn't call that fast." Matt agreed with me as I said that. "I can tell, god please tell me that Jay is nearby." I took a breath. "Jay doesn't exactly know that I just sent you that text." That's when Jay turned to look at me. "You texted Matt my idea? I wanted to work it out with my brother before I even put it towards him." Matt then spoke to me, obviously having heard what Jay just said. "Put me on speakerphone. I want to be part of this conversation." I agreed with Matt when he said that, before going to put my phone on speakerphone. "You're on speakerphone Matt." That's when Gabby spoke up. "I'm here too just to let you guys know." Jay agreed with Gabby when she said that. "How are you feeling Gabby? How are the boys?" I agreed with Jay when he said that. "Yeah, we've been meaning to call and check on you guys."

Gabby agreed with me as I said that, well aware that was the case. "Believe me, I already have a couple missed calls from Stella in the middle of the night. But I was fast asleep, and I was not waking up at that time." Matt snickered when she said that. "More like you were knocked out by the sleep meds that you took last night." Gabby agreed with her husband when he told her that. "Yes, I was." Matt then decided to bring the conversation back to it's originally topic. "But seriously, I just read the idea that you have Jay; and I think that would definitely be something that we can look at having here at headquarters for now as a trial project, maybe other places." Jay smiled when he heard Matt say that. "Does it have anything to do with the fact that you may benefit from the idea?" Matt laughed. "Hey, if I don't have to go to the hospital for my PTSD meetings; then I will gladly not come here for my meetings, as I can do them at my place of work whenever I want to go to one."

Jay agreed with Matt when he said that. "Or we can have one together." Gabby agreed. "OK. Back on track before the movie comes back on." Jay snickered. "Hallmark Channel?" Matt groaned. "Don't even get me started." Gabby then snapped at her husband. "I was going to go braless for our entire stay here at the hospital, unless you want…" Jay then (once again) got us back on topic. "Okay, back on topic. So, what are you thinking of the idea." Matt laughed. "I love the idea, and I definitely want to think about how we could make that happen. So, here's something that you can do. I know I already have you working on Casey Police. But, I am going to be putting you in charge of this project. Before I put any space in the building towards this, I want a proposal about this. Take your time, as I have to take care of Gabby and the boys. But just give me ideas about that, as you have really peeked my interest now Jay; thanks for thinking of this idea." Jay agreed with Matt.

"Thank my wife for texting it to you, I was nervous to say anything." Matt then went to say something to Jay that I really liked hearing. "Jay, if you have ideas for things that can possibly help people like us, people who have PTSD like me and you; then do not feel like you can't tell me the ideas. I want to do the same as you and help with PTSD." Jay agreed with Matt. "Well, one policy is….I want to have dogs allowed in the offices. Service…" Matt interrupted Jay. "Jay, of course Max is going to come to the office; I have to do that to be in compliance with the ADA. Don't even worry about that. Just worry about Max going in my office. If he goes on my new floors, then it's coming out of your savings; I am not paying to clean up your dog's shit!" I just laughed when I heard Matt say that, as he was definitely funny. God, I just love this. "I promise Matt, I'll make sure that his shit doesn't stay on the ground." Matt agreed with Jay when he said that. "Listen, I'll let you go."

But before he hung up, Gabby spoke to me. "Alex don't forget. I want your preliminary designs by Friday." Jay sighed. "No can-do Gabby. My brother and Natalie are coming into town today ahead of my birthday tomorrow, and they're getting married on the beach on Saturday. Natalie just doesn't know that yet." Gabby agreed. "Oh, that's fine then." Jay then added on. "I might ask Will to stay here and be with me and Alex, I want my brother back and he's alone up in Chicago. Might try and get him to work with us on the PTSD clinic thing? Can I hire him?" Matt laughed. "Go right ahead Jay. Get him to help you with the proposal, and let him live with you. If he accepts the job, make sure to get the legal department to draw him up a contract. If you need me to call Linda (Errs), then just call me; and I will get her to make a contract for Will, maybe Natalie." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that. "Of course. Take it easy you guys, congrats again." Matt agreed.

"Thanks Jay. Have a good day." Jay agreed when he said that, while I went to hang up with Matt and Gabby. That's when Jay looked at me and smirked. "Come here." I agreed with Jay when he said that, before proceeding to get up so that I can walk over to the man I love; after all, I do want to share a nice kiss with him, which I am certain is the reason why he wants me to walk over to him right now. There's just no way that he doesn't want to give me on after what I just did.

It didn't take Alex long to make her way to the kitchen this morning, especially not when there's a kiss involved; that's exactly what Alex wanted this morning after all. She wanted a kiss from her loving husband, and she knows that he's definitely going to give her one as soon as she's in the kitchen this morning. So, she made sure that she got into a good place. Leaning against the counter in the kitchen this morning, Alex smiled as she looked at Jay; after which, he moved to get close to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. Well, more like her lower back; where their twins are currently growing inside of her. "I love it when you wrap your arms around my lower back." Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, well aware of the reason why she likes it when he wraps his arms around her there; after all, that was where their beautiful twins are currently growing inside of her. Stepping nice and close to Jay, Alex smirked at her husband and kissed him.

Taking things nice and slow with Alex as she kissed him this morning, Jay smiled due to the fact that he was incredibly happy; especially since she's really doing so much for her, including (maybe) getting his brother back with him. "Thank you." Alex was a bit confused when Jay thanked her, as she wasn't sure what he was thanking her for. "For what baby?" Jay smiled at his beautiful wife as she asked him that. "For giving me the ability to get my brother here much easier." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, before smiling as she leaned in and proceeded to kiss the man she loves once again. Just taking things nice and slow with each other, Alex smirked due to the fact that this truly is something that she enjoys doing with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. Jay is just so handsome, and she is so proud of the fact that he's her husband. "God, you have no idea how proud I am to call you my husband." Jay smiled, agreeing with Alex.

"And you have no idea how proud I am to call you my wife. And someday, the mother of my children." Moving his hands to Alex's sides, Jay smirked as he was happy that she's pregnant. At the same time, Alex got close to Jay and just started to kiss him nice and slowly. "I can't wait to see Will and Nat today." Jay agreed with Alex. "Just remember, don't tell her." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before continuing to take things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, smiling as he just took things slow with her, while also making the both of them some nice breakfast.
