Hello everyone, here is the next chapter!

Things will soon take off and be more interesting

This will just be Deuce's pov and just small things for the plot

I also know this is so so late, and so short for being this late, but it is something at least

Deuce stood and trained with Thatch by the low deck, where it was close to the water. Thatch was making huge improvements, especially seeing his age. But he knew Thatch really wanted to make this happen, to get better at things and then show it off, as well as he just wanted to learn generally. When they were done for now, they headed to Thatch's room so he could change, as he had taken a few falls in the water and was soaked.

When they got to the commander's room, Deuce moved to look at Thatch when he spoke. "The upper drawer over there, there are some new shirts. Could you get one?" Deuce nodded and did, opening the large drawer, which was… smaller than what he had thought. That could mean. "Do you want a specific color?" He asked as he carefully moved a hand to the bottom and pushed, and yes, it was fake. Thatch hummed. "You choose." Deuce nodded and pretended he looked through shirts, but instead, he carefully lifted a corner and looked under it, and as he did, he managed to see the corner of something purple, and he knew that color, before he let it down and grabbed a gray shirt, which he handed to Thatch with a smile. "Here."

Thatch took it with a smile. "Thanks. Gray is good." Deuce nodded. "Especially when I am not entirely sure which color you like." Thatch chuckled. "Yeah, I get that. Not too much of a color guy." Deuce chuckled as well. "Many aren't." They then headed out when Thatch had dressed, and he hoped he had seen right, but he would check with Ace.

They then went on with their day, and as they were speaking about things, Thatch blinked when he mentioned something. "Wait wait, you can heal people!?" Deuce blinked. "Well, yeah, of course. But some are way better at it than others." Thatch blinked. "How? How does one do it?" Deuce hummed. "How to explain…" He then got an idea and looked at the chef. "Give me your sword." Thatch blinked but did, and Deuce used it to make a cut in his hand, making Thatch move a hand to try and stop it, but it was too late, and he looked shocked. "Why did you do that! Can you heal it?!" Deuce hummed. "Oh me? No. Not that good at it." Thatch blinked. "Then why!" Deuce chuckled. "Because of this. Mika!" Mika came over. "Yah!" Deuce showed his hand. "Fix this." Mika nodded. "Okay!" Mika then moved her hands over the wound and it started to glow faint, before the wound just disappeared.

It made the chef look shocked. "Holy Hell! Awesome! Can I do that!" Deuce hummed. "Pretty hard. And you need to be sort of born with it a bit. Mika is." Mika nodded. "I am. But then again, my whole family is." True as well. Thatch still looked shocked, before he moved away. "I need to tell the others!" And he went to do that.

After a bit, the others who were Shinobies came, and Deuce once again showed it, and it had Kent blink. "Can I try?" Deuce nodded and made another cut, and nothing happened, even after Mika explained how, but when Jonas tried, he managed to somewhat heal it, which had both him and Mika blink. "Wow. You got a talent for this." Jonas blinked before he looked at his hands. "I do?" Mika nodded. "Yes, this makes sense also. You have issues with other things. You will get it after a bit, but this is your thing. Also makes sense since you work in the infirmary now and then." Jonas blinked, before he smiled. "Yes! I can do a thing!" He got he was happy, he had been hanging behind. He motioned to Mika. "Mika can teach you. Better than me I think. I will teach the others." That sounded the best in his mind.

The day then went on normally, and when evening fell, he moved to the room they had, and sat down and looked at Ace. "I am not a hundred percent, but I'm pretty sure I found the chocolate. Same color and it was hidden. Hidden under a false bottom in his drawers." Ace nodded. "Okay, good. We now know more, try and get another peep, a better one. We need to be sure. Do you think he rotates it?" Deuce hummed. "Honestly, from what I have seen, no. I don't think he thinks people know this, he thinks he is safe." That was what he believed, but he would have been smart if he rotated it.

Ace sighed. "Time is moving fast as well. We need to hurry." Deuce nodded. "Yes, if only his family hadn't stolen it, we would have had it. Then this would have been easier." Ace nodded. "Yeah, I know. But we have very little time now. Got an update. We have 2 weeks. Max." Deuce moved a hand to his face. "Oh shit. I am not ready." Trevor sighed. "No one is ready for this, not yet. We need to do our best." They did. Deuce sighed. "Are you going to give the order?" Ace gave a breath. "I think I have to, we have limited time, much less than what we believed." Deuce nodded. "When?" Ace sighed. "I will call tomorrow, we need to act, if you can't get a better peek, we just have to hope you saw right, and that he doesn't rotate it." They could probably only hope, he needed to try and get another peek. Hopefully, this will go fine.

The next evening, they met again, and Ace sighed. "It will happen in one week, I made the call." Deuce moved a hand to his chest. "I feel like I am having a heart attack." Ace nodded. "I feel the same. I just pray that this will work as we have planned. If this fails, we fail, and we know how that will go." Deuce nodded, he knew Ace was right. They had one shot. He looked at Ace. "Are you sure we even have this week?" Ace sighed. "I can't be too sure, but I hope. They think we have about 2 weeks until the move." Deuce gave a breath. "This is not fun." Ace nodded. "I know." Ace then sighed. "For now, act normal. We can't tip them off." They all nodded as they agreed. That would just make things harder, especially if the chef got onto what they were planning. Probably bad if anyone got what they were planning. For now, they could just hope.
