Piper, Phoebe, Prue, Andy, Cordelia and Doyle were all in the living room of the manor. Piper was sitting on the couch looking in the book at the relinquishment spell Rex told them about. "It's a relinquishment spell. If we read it aloud it takes away all of our powers" Piper said looking up at Phoebe. Cordelia was sitting next to her. "Which is why Rex wants you guys to say that spell" she said. Phoebe was pacing back and forth. "Is there anyway to reverse it" she asked. "I don't know it doesn't say" Piper said looking back at the book. "It doesn't look like it" Cordelia said looking at the page that had the spell on it. "Well then I say we flip to another page and find a spell that kicks Rex's warlock ass" Phoebe said. "Also a one that saves Angel" Doyle added. Phoebe looked at him and nodded. "Of course" she said. "We can't" Prue said who was sitting in a chair. "Why can't we" Phoebe asked. "For all we k now he's here right now watching us and if we don't do exactly as he says he'll tell the police I've escaped" Prue said.
"They'll come after all of us" Andy said. "We can't give up our powers without a fight. It's like giving up who we are who we've become" Phoebe said. "Who we come from" Piper said. "Exactly. These powers are gifts. Gifts that were given to us to protect and ultimately to pass onto the next generation" Phoebe said. "Plus all of the demons and warlocks out there would have a field day with there being no more Charmed ones" Doyle said. "We also won't get Angel back" Cordelia said. Prue stood up from the chair. "Don't you guys think I know that? I mean how do you guys think I feel. I'm the one that got us into this situation" Prue said. "Prue it's not your fault. This could have happened to any of us" Andy said. "He's right" Piper said. "Yea Prue Rex has been planning for this for a while. There was no way for you to know" Cordelia said. "It's really not your fault" Phoebe said. "Prue don't beat yourself up. If it wasn't you it would have been one of us. Rex is smart" Doyle said.
"Yea but I'm the one that Rex tricked. I'm the reason why we're having this conversation" Prue said. Andy walked over and wrapped his arms around her. "Prue you can't blame yourself for this" he said. "There's got to be a way out of this" Phoebe said. "Like what you guys run and become fugitives" Doyle asked. "Something tells me that's not the best way to go about protecting the innocent" Piper said. Cordelia shook her head. "We can't let that happen" she said. "Yea well we can't protect the innocent without our powers and even worse if we give them up we'd be giving them up to evil" Phoebe said. "A warlock's dream" Doyle said. Prue shook her head. "No we can't let that happen" she said. Andy nodded. "That's the worst thing you guys could do which is why Rex wants you guys to do it" he said. "Well we can't let Prue die in jail either besides with you behind bars we'll be divided. Rex wins either way" Piper said standing up. "Neither option seems good" Cordelia said.
"I don't want to have to do this" Phoebe said. "I don't know if this is the right decision. Without you guys out there evil gets advantage" Doyle said. "We don't have any choice. If we don't do this I go back to jail, Andy will lose his job and we don't get Angel back" Prue said. Andy shook his head. "Trust me, me losing my job is the least of my concerns right now" Andy said. "I don't want to do this either but like Prue said we really don't have a choice. All we can do is take the leap of faith and hope that somehow it all works out" Piper said. "There's got to be someway out this that we're just not seeing" Cordelia said. "Well we don't have the time to look for it" Prue said. They all looked at each other unaware that Leo was listening from the other room. He walked away. He couldn't let this happen. "I know you guys have no choice but this doesn't feel right. You guys giving up your powers to evil like this" Andy said. "I know" Prue said hugging Andy.
Up in the attic, Prue, Piper and Phoebe were sitting in a circle with the book in the middle. Andy, Cordelia and Doyle were standing off to the side.
"From whence they came return them now,
Vanish the words, Vanish our powers" Prue chanted.

Piper and Prue looked over at Phoebe. "Come on Phoebe" Piper said. Phoebe looked away and sighed. She turned back to her sisters. "OK" she said.

Wind started blowing around the attic and thunder struck. Everyone looked around the room. The words from the book of shadows started to disappear. The lantern like device lit up. Phoebe flipped through the now empty book. "Look" she said as she continued flipping through it. "All the magic's disappeared" Doyle said. Everyone looked at the empty book not believing that this whole magic journey the sisters were on was over. "It was fun while it lasted" Phoebe said. "I can't believe that's it" Doyle said. "It had it's moments" Piper said. Cordelia looked at the sisters. "I'm sorry guys. Those powers were part of your legacy" she said. Prue gave her a sad smile. "It's OK. Let's just get this over with" Prue said grabbing the lantern.
In Buckland's, Rex was sitting on the couch in his office. "They're coming" he said. Hannah smiled at him. "Good" she said getting on her knees as Rex watched. She turned into a panther. Rex smiled down at Hannah. She looked up at him and roared. "Love you too darling" Rex said. "If you guys could stop with all the lovey dovey crap I believe we have witches to kill" a man said from the doorway. Rex smiled at the man and stood up. "You're right. We do have witches to kill…Angelus" Rex said. The vampire smiled at him. "Thanks for removing that pesky soul from me. That thing was more trouble than it was worth" Angelus said. "It was our pleasure. Just make sure you kill the witches" Rex said. Angelus smiled evilly. "First I'm going to kill that woman that my pathetic soul filled side loves, then I'll kill the witches" Angelus said. Rex nodded. "Just remember our deal those witches die then you can have your soul and you can do whatever you want with it" Rex said.
Phoebe, Doyle, Prue, Andy, Piper and Cordelia stepped off the elevator. "OK I say as soon as we get the photo, the tiara and Angel back we knock the lantern out of Rex's hands and stomp on it" Phoebe said. "What will that do" Prue asked. "I don't know free our powers. It's better then doing nothing" Phoebe said. "How do we know this isn't a trap" Piper asked. "You don't actually. Nevertheless here you are. Powerless I presume" Rex said walking over to them. They all glared at him. Andy looked around. "Where's Hannah" he asked. "Lurking. That's what she does best. "The lantern if you please" Rex said. Prue handed it to him and it started to glow when Rex touched it. "Where's Angel" Cordelia asked. Rex smiled at her evilly. "It all feels a little anti climatic don't you think? Too easy almost. Feels as if we need a more satisfying ending" Rex said walking behind them. "You can come out now" he called out. Angelus and a panther came out of the office.
"Angel" Cordelia said smiling. She started to walk toward him but Doyle stopped her. "I don't think that's Angel love" Doyle said. She looked back at Doyle confused. "What are you talking about of course it's…" she started to say but stopped herself when she saw the evil smile on his face that she recognized well. "Angelus" she said. He started clapping. "Bingo give her a prize" he said. They all stared between Angelus and the panther. They were trapped with no powers to help them. Rex looked at the lantern as it started to glow. The powers were getting released from it. "No" Rex said. Prue just held Piper and Phoebe behind her while Andy held Prue behind him. "Hannah, Angelus now quickly" Rex said. Angelus ran over and grabbed Cordelia. He turned into his vamp face. "I'm going to give Angel the best Christmas gift. You're dead body" Angelus said. "Get off her" Doyle said running up to them. Angelus punched him and he went flying into the wall hard. He was knocked out.
"Now without further interruption time for you to die" Angelus said as he went to bite Cordelia. Hannah ran towards the sisters and Andy. She jumped and Piper threw up her hand. The whole hallway froze. The sisters all looked around shocked. Prue nudged Andy who unfroze. He jumped back in shock when he saw the frozen panther in front of him. "What the hell is going on" he asked. Phoebe looked between Rex and the panther. "We have our powers back" she said surprised. "How" Piper asked. "Doesn't matter get out of here fast" Prue said as the four of them ran behind Rex. Prue squinted her eyes and Rex moved underneath Hannah. Andy looked over at Angelus and Cordelia who were still frozen. "What are we going to do about him" Andy asked pointing to Angelus. Prue squinted her eyes at Angelus and he went flying into the wall falling unconscious. The hallway unfroze and Hannah jumped on Rex biting him his neck as he fell to the floor. Cordelia looked behind her at Angelus's unconscious body.
Prue Piper Phoebe and Andy watched the horrific scene of Hannah biting Rex to death. They stood there shocked as Rex died. Hannah turned back into her human form. They all stared at her not believing what they just saw. Hannah stood up. She put her hand to her mouth shocked by what she just did. "Rex. No" Hannah cried as Cordelia walked over to where go check on Doyle. Hannah looked at the sisters. "What have you done" she asked. Doyle woke up and looked at Hannah standing over Rex's dead body and Angelus knocked out. "What did I miss" he asked Cordelia. All of a sudden Hannah and Rex started to go up in flames. "Wait. It wasn't my fault. I didn't fail he did" Hannah yelled out. The six people watched the scene in front of them in shock. "Please. No" Hannah cried out. Hannah continued to scream in pain and fear. Finally both Rex and Hannah disappeared. They all looked at the burned spot where Rex and Hannah once were shocked.
"What the hell was that" Piper asked. "My guess is that's exactly what it was" Cordelia said as her and Doyle walked over to the group. Cordelia looked over at Angelus's unconscious body. "Does anyone know how to reinsert a soul" she asked. They all just looked at each other. What were they going to do. "I think I can help with that" a woman said coming out of Rex's office. She walked over to Angel. "Who are you" Prue asked. "She's the witch who gave Angel the soul in the first place" Cordelia answered. "How did you know he lost his soul" Andy asked. "I could sense it" she said as she turned Angel over on his back. She started saying a spell and a white ball appeared in her hand. She put it back in Angel's chest and he woke up. He sat up and looked around. He saw his friends standing across the hallway all staring at him. "Cordelia Doyle" he said to them. They looked at him studying him. "It's me Angel. I didn't hurt you guys did I" he asked.
"Angel" Cordelia said slowly walking over to him. He nodded his head. "It's me. I promise" he said. Cordelia looked at him closely. She saw the look in his eyes that angel always gave her. The look of love. "Angel it is you" she said running over and hugging him. He stood up and hugged her tightly not wanting to let go. He pulled back from her. "Did I hurt you" he asked again. Cordelia shook her head. "No I'm fine" she said. She kissed him. He looked over at Doyle. "Doyle I'm sorry" he said. Doyle shook his head. "It's OK it wasn't you" he said. "I got to go. Welcome back Angel" the witch Katherine, said. He looked over at her. "Thank you" he said. She nodded and disappeared. Prue looked down at her watch. "OK we've got to get me back to jail now. Let's go" she said. "They start the rounds in about thirty minutes" Andy said. Prue ran to the elevator with Andy Piper and Phoebe following. Prue pushed the button and the door opened and all seven of them ran in.
At the jailhouse, Darryl and Kate walked in. "We're here to see Prue Halliwell" Kate said. The guard let them in. "Thanks Eric" Kate said as she walked to Prue's cell. Eric unlocked Prue's cell. Kate and Darryl walked in. "Miss Halliwell" Kate said. There was no answer. Her and Darryl looked at the bed and saw the blanket covering the pillows. They looked at each other. Kate pulled back the covers and saw Prue laying there. Prue looked up and saw Kate and Darryl standing over her. "Kate Darryl what is it? What's going on" she asked. "Just thought you'd like to know your off the hook" Kate said. "Turns out you were right. Rex and Hannah were setting you up or whoever they were" Darryl said. "I don't understand" Prue said shaking her head. She pulled the blanket off her. "Well we think they killed two people assumed their identities and took over the auction house. Then they bilked it dry and tried to cap it off with stealing the tiara" Kate said. "Which we found hidden in his office" Darryl said. "Wow did you catch them" Prue asked. Kate looked back at Darryl. "Not yet" she said pulling a photo out of her pocket. Prue sat there looking between both Darryl and Kate. "I don't suppose you have any idea what this was doing in his office do you" Kate asked holding out the photo Rex took earlier in the night. Prue took it from her. "Quite photogenic" she said smiling at the two cops. "Isn't it" Kate asked. They all smiled at each other.
Prue walked outside and saw Andy and Angel waiting for her. She ran up to Andy and kissed him. "So everything is back to normal. My captain just called me and told me I got my job back" Andy said. Prue smiled and hugged him. "That's great" she said. "Yea he said they found evidence that Rex and Hannah were trying to frame both you and me for stealing tiara. I go back after the holidays" he said. "I'm so happy for you" she said. "Guys I have a favor to ask the two of you" Angel said. Prue looked around. "Where's everybody else" she asked. "Piper and Phoebe are waiting for us to get home. They were too tired to come so I came by myself" Andy said. "Cordelia is at home. Surprisingly her parents called and Doyle had a date. It's good that we're all here though because I have a favor to ask" Angel said. Prue nodded. "Of course Angel anything" she said. "Yea we'll help you with whatever it is you need" Andy said.
"If something like what happened tonight ever happens again I need you to kill me" he said. Prue and Andy looked at each other shocked. "What are you talking about" Prue asked. "If I ever lose my soul and turn into Angelus again I need you guys to promise that you'll kill me. Cordelia and Doyle won't but Angelus is too dangerous to be unleashed on the world. Promise me you won't try to save me. Promise me you'll kill me" Angel said. Andy and Prue looked at each other then looked at Angel. "We promise" Andy said. Angel nodded. "Good night guys" he said walking to his car. "Good night" they both said back. They watched as Angel drove off. They couldn't believe what he just asked them. They hoped it never came to that but if it did they knew what they would have to do even though it would suck and they wouldn't want to do it. They would be ready.
The next morning, Andy and Prue woke up. They showered together and started to get ready for the day. Andy got dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt. He put on a plaid shirt over it and buttoned up half the shirt. He tucked his shirts into his jeans and him and Prue looked for Piper and Phoebe. They found them up in the attic looking through the book. "What are you guys doing up here" Prue asked as her and Andy walked over to her sisters. "Trying to figure out how we got our powers back" Phoebe said. Piper flipped through the book. "Spells, incantations, demon stuff. It's all here. Everything just like before" Piper said. "Thank god" Phoebe said. "How though? I mean we certainly didn't reverse the spell" Prue asked. "Well maybe we screwed it up" Phoebe said. Everyone looked up at her. "What? It's not like it would be thew first time" Phoebe said. "No we didn't screw it up. Something or someone must have done it. It couldn't have happened on its own" Prue said.
"Why not? It's magic" Piper said. Prue and Phoebe smiled at her. "Well I hope that whoever or whatever gave you guys your powers back is on our side" Andy said. They all looked up at him. "Knock, knock" Leo said walking up to the open attic door and knocking on it. They all looked over at Leo. "Leo" Piper said. "The front door was open. I hope it's alright. I left my toolbox" he said. Piper walked over to him. "That's funny I don't remember that being there last night" Piper said. "Yea well you know what Freud always said about leaving things" Leo said. "That you secretly wanted to come back for it" Piper said. "Guilty" Leo said. "Don't use that word" Prue said under her breath. Leo looked over at her curiously. "It's a long story" Andy said. Piper looked back at the three and Phoebe motioned to Prue and Andy. They all moved further in the attic and Piper turned back to Leo. "You're leaving aren't you" Piper asked.
"Yea, afraid so" Leo said. "Do you really have to go" Piper asked. "Well I fixed everything I came here to fix" he answered. Piper gave Leo a sad smile. "I'll be back. Promise" Leo said. Piper nodded. Leo leaned in and kissed her. Phoebe, Prue and Andy watched. Piper and Leo broke apart from each other. "Nothing could keep me away from you for too long" Leo said. Piper smiled at him. Leo walked toward the door and grabbed his toolbox. Piper's smile faded. Leo turned around and gave Piper one last look before walking out of the attic. Phoebe, Andy and Prue walked over to the book. Prue grabbed the pot from the table. Piper walked over and joined them. "At least he wasn't a warlock" she said. "Hey you don't suppose Leo was the…" Phoebe said pointing down at the book. "Hey babe, what are you doing" Andy asked seeing Prue rip a page out of the book of shadows. "I'm getting rid of the relinquishment spell. However we got our powers back I certainly don't want to risk losing them again" Prue said.
"I second that" Piper said. "Third" Phoebe said. "Fourth" Andy said and they all looked at him shocked. "It's not that bad having a witch for a fiancé. It even has some cool moments" he said. Prue smiled at him. "Thanks babe" she said giving him a quick kiss. Piper and Phoebe just made gagging noises. "Get a room" Phoebe said. Andy and Prue just rolled their eyes. She looked back at her sisters. "Witches forever" Prue said. Phoebe nodded. "Damn proud of it" she said as Piper lit the match and burned the page. The four of them watched as the page continued to burn the relinquishment spell disappearing from existence. Meanwhile downstairs Leo was walking toward the front door. He started to orb out as the door opened by itself. He orbed out completely and the front door closed behind him. About an hour later Angel, Cordelia and Doyle came over. The friends all laughed and had a good time and celebrated seeing as it was the day before Christmas eve.
That night Prue and Andy had passionate sex with each other happy that they might be able to have a normal demon free Christmas. They both fell asleep. In the middle of the night Andy woke up and walked down the hall to use the bathroom. He was walking back to his and Prue's room when he stopped. He heard music playing from downstairs. What the hell he thought to himself. He turned around and saw a light shining on the wall where the stairs were. He quickly walked back to his and Prue's room and saw that she was still asleep. He didn't want to wake her. He got his gun from the safe in the closet and loaded it. He walked out into the hallway and slowly walked toward the stairs. He held out the gun as he walked down each step slowly and quietly. He didn't know who or what was in the house but he was going to see what was going on. He reached the landing and saw that all the lights were on. He finished walking down the stairs, gun still extended and was shocked to see that the front door was open.
He walked over to the door and walked outside. He looked around into the night. Nothing. He walked back in the house and closed the door. He locked it behind him. He searched all of downstairs and found no one. Whoever it was, was long gone by now. Andy started shutting off all the lights. He was about to shut off the Christmas tree when something caught his eye. On the table by the couch was what looked like a gift that was wrapped with a card on top of it.
The card read "Inspector Andrew Trudeau". He opened it and read "Merry Christmas inspector. Hopefully this helps you and the Charmed ones in your fight against evil. Use it well".
Andy couldn't believe what he just read. Who knew about Prue and her sisters? He unwrapped the gift and saw what looked like a small gold handcrafted mirror. Andy looked at it confused. What the hell was going on? Whatever was going on he would have to worry about it in the morning when the sisters were awake and they could help him figure out what was going on. Andy went finished shutting off all the lights and headed back to his and Prue's room. He didn't get any sleep the rest of the night as he was worried about who knew about the sisters and how whoever it was would wind up being a problem for all of them. This was the last thing they needed.
