Our chapter begins during a science class in Mrs Mendeleiv classroom.
Mrs. Mendeleiv was handing back the exams to the class, saying, "Well, I can't say I'm too surprised, but I'm impressed how well many of you have done on this test. You appear to show some stellar knowledge of compound chemicals."
One exam she gave back was a test that had a B+ on it, which belonged to Marinette, while Mrs. Mendeleiv said, "Most of you did very well," as Marinette accepted the exam and smiled when she saw how well she had done.
"Others, I'm a little disappointed to say, didn't seem to understand the material well," Mrs. Mendeleiv stated while giving a test back to Marc, who saw he had gotten a C- on it and felt a little disappointed muttering, "Probably should've reviewed the material a little more."
Mrs. Mendeleiv then approached Laguna's desk, the Techno Troll flinching a bit in nervousness when she saw the serious look the teacher had at first, feeling worried she hadn't done well. Then, to her surprise, Mrs. Mendeleiv smiled, saying, "Well done, Ms. Tidepool; I am very impressed," and handed her back her test.
Laguna looked at the test and saw that she had gotten an A+ on it, which made her beam happily as she replied, "Thank you, Mrs. Mendeleiv."
"You know, I'll admit, when you first transferred to this class, I didn't expect you'd easily catch up and be on par with everything I've been teaching so far, but I was proven wrong. Keep up the good work, Ms. Tidepool," Mrs. Mendeleiv commented before heading to hand out the last few tests she had.
Sabrina, who was sitting next to Laguna and had already gotten her test back, which had an A- on it, complimented Laguna, "Great job," as the pair fist-bumped.
"Nice work, Laguna. You're learning a lot of the stuff Mrs. Mendeleiv teaches faster than any of us expected," Sam commented while holding his test, which also had a B+ on it.
Then it was Civics Driving class with Ms. Goodway, the mayor of Adventure Bay who's now a Civics Driving teacher in Françoise Dupont's middle/highschool.
Meanwhile in Hawk Moth's lair :
In Hawk Moth's hideout, Nathalie was placing on the butterfly miraculous on before declaring, "Nooroo, dark wings rise"!
Nooroo got sucked into the miraculous as Nathalie transformed into a lavender-and-violet version of Hawk Moth.
Once she had transformed, she let a white butterfly fly into her hands, which she then turned into an akuma, before letting it escape, telling it, "fly up, and wait for me to de-transform before akumatizing me into Catalyst"!
The butterfly flew up to the ceiling and waited as Nathalie transformed back and took the butterfly miraculous off, waiting for the akuma to get absorbed into her tablet, which transformed her into Catalyst.
Meanwhile with Bowser :
"My Army !" Claimed Bowser as his army cheers for him.
"Koopas..." The Koopa salutes Bowser.
"Goombas..." The Goombas watch with satisfaction Bowser calling them.
"Whatever those things are !" Said Bowser much to the Spinies sadness.
"Today, we'll finally get our revenge on the Miraculous Team with our alliance with Gargamel and Nathalie !" Said Bowser much to the army cheering.
"And what if that alliance failed because of Ladybug, Cat Noir or Silver Claw ?" Asked a Koopa, huge mistake because Bowser breath fire on him and turns him into a Dry Bone.
"We won't fail because I have this with me..." Said Bowser while showing his new and improved Peacock Miraculous that he stole from a military base in one of the post-chapter scenes of Reflekdoll 2.0. "Now, those Miraculous heroes won't stand a chance against us, those Miraculous will soon belong to us and the Akuma Alliance !" Said Bowser much to his army cheers.
Meanwhile with Gargamel :
"Azrael, treacherous hairball..." Said Gargamel towards Azrael.
"Monty, my brave Smurf-hunting raptor." Said Gargamel as Monty skakwed in answer.
"With these Miraculous I will become the greatest wizard of all time, our alliance with Nathalie and Bowser's army will be our marches of glory towards my dream of becoming the most powerful and evil wizard and having these Miraculous for the Akuma alliance. Nothing can stop us!" Said Gargamel while laughing evilly.
Meanwhile in Hawk Moth's Lair :
Gabriel entered the lair, looking for his missing Butterfly brooch before noticing it on the floor, wondering as he picked it up, "What"?
Placing it back on, Nooroo flew out of the brooch, saying, "Master, I'm afraid that I have some bad news. Your co-respondent, Nathalie, used me to akumatize herself into Catalyst"!
Gabriel was surprised to hear this, and Nooroo nervously anticipated an angry outburst, but to its surprise, Nooroo saw Gabriel grinning and letting out a cackle.
"What a brilliant plan! With Nathalie akumatized as Catalyst, she can heighten the power of any villain that she sees, and with their strengthened powers combined, there's no way Ladybug, silver wolf or any of those heroes will be able to stop them," Gabriel exclaimed.
He then summoned Bowser and Gargamel, who had Monty and Azareal beside him, to enter, telling them both, "You both will be working with Catalyst on your path of destruction. She will help strengthen your powers so they can be more destructive and cause more chaos out on the streets, enough to give those heroes a lot of trouble."
"I love the sound of destruction," Bowser grinned maliciously.
"Brilliant! With my magic more powerful, I can conjure spells that'll put those Miraculous Heroes in their place," Gargamel exclaimed while Azareal and Monty cackled in unison. "Azrael, treacherous hairball, Monty my brave smurf-hunting raptor, time to hunt some miraculous !" Gargamel said while he, Azrael, Monty and Bowser joins with Nathalie akumatized as Catalyst to create an ambush at the Mirauculous heroes.
As for our heroes they are now transformed and are ambushed by Bowser and Gargamel.
The Miraculous Heroes stared down Bowser and Gargamel, who both grinned at the sight of their arrival.
"Oh, lookie here: it's the Miraculous Team; just who we wanted to see," Gargamel taunted.
"How could you want to see us? You do know we're gonna easily defeat you, right," Carapace replied in confusion.
"Oh, but you see, we are not here to just simply fight. We're here to destroy you," Bowser exclaimed.
"Good luck with that because we're set to stop you before that ever happens," Rena Rouge taunted back.
"Oh, sure, you might stop us like this, but...we have a secret weapon," Gargamel commented before gesturing to Catalyst, who appeared from the shadows, much to the shock of the heroes.
"It's Catalyst," Purple Tigress shouted in shock.
"What in the world are they dong with her," Ladybug asked curiously while remaining defensive.
Catalyst held onto her high-powered tablet and then touched the shoulders of Bowser and Gargamel, saying, "Bowser, Gargamel, you will now both receive high dosages of power that'll make your abilities greater and stronger than ever before."
Bowser grinned, feeling the surges of strength flow through him before using the Peacock miraculous that he stole from the military base to transform into a bigger, darker, much scarier version of himself, with spiky blue and black feathers on his shell, a black and blue hawk-like mask over his eyes, and talon-like gloves on his hands. He let out a loud roar that breathed blue fire hot enough to melt right through Earth.
Gargamel also felt Catalyst's aided strength flowing in him as he waved his wand and used his newly strengthened magic to make himself much more powerful before sending magic blasts at Azareal and Monty, making them grow and turn into gigantic, powerful beast-like versions of themselves.
Lucky charm," Lafybug shouted, trying to activate her lucky charm, but to her shock, instead of summoning a magic object, it summoned a gigantic wave of ladybugs that swarmed over her.
Ladybug tried to fend off the ladybugs, shouting, "What happened to my lucky charm"?!
Cat noir saw Azareal running towards him and tried to do a cataclysm on the ground to stop it, but instead of making the ground break and rip apart, it only made the ground turn black.
"What," Cat Noir gasped in shock, seeing his power not working like it was supposed to, as he prompted to use his baton to try and escape from the charging cat beast.
"What's going on," Banditita asked in concern while trying to use Night Swipe on Monty, only for the bird beast to get more riled up and chomp at her, forcing Banditita to duck for cover and try to dodge each strike.
"It's like our powers are messed up," Illumina replied, trying to activate Light Shine, but only got a flicker of light that wound up shining into her eyes, temporarily blinding her and making her stumble to the ground.
Pigella tried to summon her gift power, but it only made pink chains wrap around her, much to her shock.
Ryuko was trying to summon her wind dragon but wound up making a wind storm, and when Carapaze tried to contain it with shield, his shields weren't working, and only caught clouds of wind instead.
Killua tried to summon a lightning bolt but accidentally sent a powerful shock at Zeraora, who got knocked out by the blow, much to Lucario's disbelief.
Chloe and Felix were watching in joy, with Chloe commenting, "Oh, this is just pure delight! Those heroes look ridiculous, utterly ridiculous"!
"Indeed; the ones inflicted with haywire powers are now making it all the easier to be beaten," Felix mentioned happily/maliciously.
"Just hoping to see Sam in that failure sauce, I could watch it over and over and over again, I'll never get bored to see that daddy's boy finally found something he actually fails !" Said Montana Max while munching on Popcorn and wathcing with joy and hilarity the heroes struggling as their powers goes haywire.
At Sam's house, Sam, Laguna, Alya, Lucario, Juleka, and Sam were taking cover, trying to piece together everything that happened so far so they could devise a plan to stop Bowser and Gargamel.
"How on Earth were Bowser and Gargamel able to do such damage," Laguna asked, trying to process what had happened.
"It's because of Catalyst; she has the ability to heighten a person's abilities and powers and strengthen them to do more without limitations," Alya explained.
"Just like the powers of Damien and Aria's miraculouses," Sam mentioned, remembering back to when he and the Miraculous Heroes were in Chicago, and Damien and Aria used their miraculouses to help them when Kitty Section got akumatized.
"Note: who are Damien and Aria," Laguna asked.
"Oh right; you weren't with us yet. Well, Damien and Aria are Sam's uncle and aunt who live in Chicago," Luka explained.
"My uncle holds the Rooster miraculous, a different one from Marc's, where he has the power of addition and is able to increase the power of his own abilities and his allies," Sam explained.
"Aria holds the Aries Constellation miraculous, which grants the power of constellations; that's where she can summon galactic star showers that can heal a hero when they're hurt and restore their energy, stars that can give a power boost, or stars that can actually deliver damage to an enemy, depending on the color that hits," Juleka mentioned.
Laguna wrote this down in her notepad before saying, "Hmm, very interesting. So, if Catalyst's power is similar to those of Sam's relatives miraculouses, how do we stop her and stop the onslaught that Bowser and Gargamel are leading"?
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, prompting the group to look over, with Alya asking while Lucario stood up defensively, "Who's knocking"?
"I'll go look," Sam replied as he went to look out the window carefully to see. Much to his shock and surprise, there was a large group of Koopas, Goombas, and Spinies, and Azarel and Monty at the door, waiting for Sam and the other heroes to come out so they could catch them.
Sam shrieked back from the window, saying to the other.
"Sam, you're all right ? What's going on ?" Asked Luka.
"It's Bowser and Gargamel's lackeys! They tracked us! We gotta get out before they find a way in! There's a back entrance we can take"!
The group followed Sam through the back entrance of the house and tried to sneak past the armies as quietly as they could.
Suddenly, one Koopa spotted them, saying, "Hey! There they are"!
"I'll get Sam, since he's the one who caused many trouble towards King Bowser !" Exclaimed a Goomba.
"I'll get his girlfriend !" Exclaimed a Koopa.
"Run for it," Alya shouted as the surviving group ran as fast they could for cover to get away from the koopas, Goombas, Spinies, Azrael, and Monty, who gave chase.
"They're gaining fast; we gotta hide somewhere quick," Luka declared.
"First, we gotta lose those guys so they can stop following us! Lucario, can you try to distract them," Sam asked Lucario, who nodded in agreement.
The aura Pokemon jumped up and launched a massive aura sphere at the ground, the shockwave of the move causing the Koopas to turn into Dry Bones, the Goombas, and Spinies to be sent flying, and Azareal and Monty to stagger and shield their eyes.
"Great job, Lucario," Juleka praised the Pokemon, who grinned in reply.
"This way," Sam said as he led the group into a quiet alleyway, away from the armies, so they could hide out without being seen.
"Phew. I think we lost them for now," Sam said in relief once they were hidden.
"But how long can we stay in this alleyway until we find a way to stop Bowser, Gargamel and Catalyst," Laguna inquired.
"You fellow heroes look weary and need some assistance," a voice soon chimed in, which made the group surprised.
"Who's there? Who said that," Alya called out while Laguna made her skin and hair glow, shedding light in the alleyway so they could see who was talking.
"Need not to fear me heroes, for I have come looking for you in the mission to help aid you in protecting this city," the voice called out again.
In the shadows, Sam noticed a figure standing there and asked it, "Really? you want to help us"?
"Yes. I have heard many great things about the Miraculous Heroes Team, and I wish to offer my services to help you, especially with the mission regarding those little monsters out there that are hurting your friends," the voice commented again.
The figure soon stepped out of the shadows, revealing to be Shiryu, who stated, "I am Shiryu."
"Nice to meet you, Shiryu. I'm Sam, snd this is Alya, my girlfriend," Sam introduced himself before introducing Alya, who gave a wave in reply.
"I'm Luka, this is my younger sister, Juleka," Luka introduced himself before introducing Juleka, who added, "We're Sam's cousins."
"I'm Laguna tidepool, a pleasure to meet you," Laguna introduced herself next.
Luycario grunted a hello in Pokemon language while shaking hands with Shiryu.
"Shiryu, if you want to help us, you're gonna need to receive a miraculous from Master Fu," Sam advised him.
"Dually noted. Where would we find this Master Fu you speak of," Shiryu asked curiously.
"follow us; we'll take you to him," Alya replied as the group carefully led Shiryu to Master Fu's house.
At Master Fu's house...
Master fu took out a small box from the big record player, where the miraculouses were held, and said as he approached Shiryu, "Shiryu, inside of this boz is a miraculous, which will grant you your own set of superpowers. You will use it for the greater good and hold onto it with respect and responsibility. Do you choose to accept"?
"Yes, sir, i choose to accept," Shiry replied while bowing nobly at Master Fu.
Shiryu received the box and opened it, revealing a black karate headband with a Yang symbol on it, and a small white light from the symbol glowed and emerged, circling around Shiryu as the group watched in surprise.
When the light died down, it revealed a white and blue Chinese dragon with a Yang symbol on its forehead, who said, "Ni hao, fellow holder of the Chinese Dragon kwami. It is nice to meet you, and as you can see, I share similarities with my cousin Longg," the dragon Yang kwami replied.
"Longg? The dragon kwami that Kagami holds," Luka asked curiously.
"Precisely," the dragon Yang kwami answered before introducing itself, "I am Lily Yang."
Sam was surprised to hear its name, saying to himself, "Its surname is like the name of my mom."
Lily continued to speak to Shiryu, saying, "I am the kwami of Resolution. If you wish to help your friends, all you must say is, "Lily, grant me my wish! But, alas, i can't work alone."
"Why not," Shiryu asked curiously.
Lily answered, "For the power I use to work, I need my sister, Lily Yin, and her holder, so that we both can work together. alas, I have not seen my sister in such a long time, for I do not know if she is around or if she has a holder or not."
Master Fu then remembered something, saying, "Oh yes. I do remember hearing rumors of another miraculous of the Chinese Dragon being hidden somewhere in Paris, but it's deep within the Paris catacombs."
"Then, that's where we gotta look," Sam commented.
"And fast before our friends' powers continue to cause haywires problems," Laguna mentioned as the group, with Shiryu now carrying the Chinese Dragon miraculous, which he tied onto his forehead, and the kwami resting safely inside it, headed over to the catacombs to find the other miraculous.
Inside the catacombs, the group carefully walked in, using flashlights, while Laguna glowed, to see where they were walking.
"Note: it's so interesting to see such a display of amazing hieroglyphics! I'll have to make a trip here myself later to get to analyze them," Laguan commented giddily while looking at the ancient writings on the catacomb walls.
"Let's not get distracted, Laguna. We have to focus on finding the other miraculous; it could be anywhere," Luka reminded the Techno Troll.
"But where? And how would it be hidden," Juleka inquired as the group carefully looked around.
Lucario was trying to use its aura to sense where the other miraculous could be before it noticed the look Sam had while looking around. It tapped him on the shoulder, gesturing to Sam if he was ok.
Sam smiled at Lucario, saying, "I'm good. I was just remembering something. Being in here reminds me of some old friends Korra, Zoe and I knew when I was growing up."
Flashback...
"Inside the catacombs of Paris, many of Paris' historical artifacts were hidden way from the eyes of the public for many years to keep the treasures of the ancestors safe and the history that it presented living within the natural environment that it presented," a teacher at a school in New york explained.
in the classroom, Sam was paying attention and jotting things down in a notebook before looking up and seeing his friends Andy, Liv, and Mike struggling to listen to the teacher. He offered his notes to his friends so they could all stay up to date on the lesson without falling behind.
End of flashback...
Sam remembered his friends and couldn't help but wonder how they were doing.
Just then, the sound of Lucario's bark got his attention as he noticed Lucario running up to something, asking it as he followed, "did you find something"?
The group followed Lucario as it ran down a path before coming across an old crypt. The crypt had writing on it, saying, "Stop! Here lies the empire of death," and sitting on top of it was a miraculous box. Lucario carefully picked it up and brought it to the group.
"Do you think that's the one ?" Alya asked as the group looked at the miraculous box.
"It seems to be, but i am unsure," Shiryu responded with uncertainty.
"Only one way to know; Lucario, open it up," Sama advised the Pokemon, who nodded in agreement.
Lucario opened up a box, revealing a white headband with a Yin symbol on it, and a light started to glow from the symbol as it circled around Lucario before revealing to be a white and blue Chinese Dragon kwami with a Yin symbol on its forehead, who said, "Ni hao, fellow holder of the Chinese Dragon kwami. I am Lily Yin, the kwami of Resolution."
Lucario was speechless/in awe, smiling and using one of its fingers to shake hands with the tiny kwami.
"Lily Yin," Lily Yang, who appeared from Shiryu's miraculous, cheered as Lily Yin flew over to her, both kwamis able to happily reunite with a hug.
"Woah! They know one another," Alya commented in awe.
"Of course," Lily Yin commented with a smile, saying, "We are sisters, after all. Sister Yang, I assume that the man next to those heroes is your new holder as well"?
"Yes. this is Shiryu, the holder of the Yang Chinese Dragon," Lily Yang introduced Shiryu, who bowed in introduction, saying, "An honor to meet you, Lily Yin"
Lucario tried to say something to Lily Yin, but since it couldn't speak English, Lily Yin wasn't able to understand what Lucario was saying.
Lily Yin suddenly got a great idea and summoned a small piece of chocolate, offering it to Lucario, saying, "Eat this, and this will help you be able to speak clearly from here on out."
Lucario accepted the chocolate and ate it, thinking it was gonna be sweet, but to his surprise, the chocolate was VERY bitter! Swallowing it, he gagged a bit, saying something in grunts before a clear sentence emerged, where he shouted, "It tasted like the underside of a boat"!
(Full disclosure, Lucario's English voice will be portrayed by Don Cheadle, just so you can imagine what he'd sound like)
Everyone in the group gasped in surprise while Lucario himself was shocked, almost utterly speechless from...speaking! For the first time ever!
"Wow, he sounds so...normal," Juleka commented in surprise.
Lucario, wanting to put his new speaking ability to the test, slowly started to say, "Rubber baby buggy bumpers," before he repeated it two times fast in awe, saying, "Rubber baby buggy bumpers! Rubber baby buggy bumpers"!
The aura Pokemon cheered, saying, "Wow, I never thought I'd ever get to say that"!
He then cleared his throat, saying to the group, "Hi! I'm Lucario"1
"Holy crepes! Korra is gonna be flipping out in shock when she hears you talk," Sam commented with a chuckle, with everyone else laughing in agreement.
Then, Lucario interrupted the laughter, saying while tying on the new headband miraculous he had, "But first, we got to help our friends"!
"Now that we are both together, you and Shiryu will be able to transform together," Lily Yin stated, adding, "all you have to say is Lily Yin, grant me my wish"!
Lucario looked at Shiryu and offered a fist bump, saying, "Ready"?
"You bet," Shiryu replied, fist bumping Lucario, before the pair said in unison. "Lily Yin/Yang, grant me my wish"!
Both Chinese Dragon kwamis entered their respective miraculouses, and the pair began to transform.
Lucario gained a white mask with blur markings on each side (like Ryuko's mask), with gold ribbons sticking out from the sides of the mask, his appendages turned gold colored, and he developed a white body suit with blue markings on his paws and feet, a moon symbol and six small star symbols (each star a color of the rainbow) surrounding it on his chest, his spikes on his paws and feet also became gold colored, and his tail became a dragon's tail with small blue spikes.
Shiryu developed a similar white body suit with a moon symbol and six small star symbols (each star a color of the rainbow) surrounding it on his chest, and blue markings on his gloves, but he also gained blue scaly boots with gold tips on the boots that shined like talons, his mask was white with gold and blue circular markings, along with silver ribbons sticking out from the sides of his mask, and he also gained blue dragon wings while the tail of his bodysuit became blue with gold star patterns on it.
Both boys took a look at their new hero selves and cheered together, "So cool"!
Sam, Alya, Luka, Juleka, and Laguna were really impressed with Lucario and Shiryu's new hero personas.
"Woah! You both look just like twin dragons," Laguna commented in awe.
"Definitely battle ready," Sam mentioned.
Lucario pulled out the weapon he had on his side, which looked like a grey handle with a red button, and pressing the button made a purple laser light rose from it, showing the weapon was a lightsaber. He laughed excitedly, saying, "Oh, I am SO down to use this"!
Shiryu pulled out his weapon, which was a pair of brass knuckles that turned into glowing dragon claws, which made him grin and shout, "The power of the dragon is now with us at full strength"!
When both Lucario and Shiryu placed their weapons away, Lucario declared, "Now, let's go kick some Bowser and wizard butt"!
"couldn't agree with you more," Sam replied before the group started to transform.
"Faang, teeth out"!
"Trixx, let's pounce"!
"Sass, scales slither"!
"Roaar, stripes on"!
"Phoebe, rise from the ashes"!
With the heroes all transformed, they ent to go help out the rest of the Miraculous Heroes team.
Ladybug was trying to get her lucky charm to work, but it was still acting haywire no matter what she did to fix it.
A group of Koopas, Goombas, and Spinies suddenly surrounded her, with Azareal and Monty towering over the hero, who saw she had no way of escaping.
"looks like you're outnumbered and outpowered, Ladybug," Gargamel taunted.
"Now, your miraculous is ours," Bowser roared as he reached to pluck away her ladybug earrings.
Suddenly, just before he could grab them, a purple stream of light swiped through his hands, burning Bowser, who stepped back and roared in pain, holding his hands, as the Koopas, Goombas, and Spinies were all sent flying far off.
Suddenly, another stream of purple light swiped through Azrael and Monty, making them roar in pain as they staggered back, falling back to the ground, much to the dismay of Gargamel.
"What?! What is going on," Gargamel shouted while trying to regain control of Azraeal.
"Who is doing this," Bowser asked while in pain.
"That would be us," two loud exclaimed.
The Miraculous Hero Team looked up and saw Silver Claw, Viperion, Flare-ence, Rena Rouge, and Purple Tigress approaching them, and beside them were two new heroes that they hadn't seen before.
"Woah! Who are those two," Bunnix asked in surprise.
"They look really fierce," Vesperia commented.
Illumina seemed to recognize one of the heroes and gasped in shock, commenting under her breath, "Wow, Lucario..."
"No need to fear, Miraculous Heroes, we have to come to help! I am Lunar Dragon Yin," Lunar Dragon Yin (Lucario) exclaimed.
"And I am Lunar Dragon Yang (Shiryu)," Lunar Dragon Yang exclaimed.
"I think it's time we handled business, right, Lunar Dragon Yang," Lunar Dragon Yin asked him.
"Lunar Dragon Yin, you are definitely correct," Lunar Dragon Yang replied.
Both Lunar Dragons charged at Bowser and Gargamel, shouting, "Dragon Dance"! They both started to glow bright rainbow colors, where both waves of colors each formed into a large spirit-like dragon that pounced on both villains, making them writhe in agony.
Bowser could feel his strength starting to fade, shouting, "My power! It's going away"!
"Ahhh! Mine too," Gargamel shouted in agony.
The villains could feel their newly acquired strength fading as the energy started to go into Lunar Dragon Yin and Lunar Dragon Yang.
Lunar Dragon Yin summoned a ball of energy and threw it at Ladybug, where upon contact, she glowed momentarily while he said, "There, that'll help your Lucky Charm be able to work again! Consider it a wish granted"!
"Thanks, Lunar Dragons," Lafybug thanked the heroes.
"No need to thank us, Ladybug; we only wish to help you, and that is what we will do," Lunar Dragon Yang responded back happily.
Ladybug readied her yoyo, saying, "Let's see if it worked," and tossed it up, shouting, "Lucky charm"!
And thankfully, now, it was working again, as the item it summoned was a disco ball, much to her surprise.
"How is dancing to disco gonna help at a time like this," Cat Noir asked, fumbling with his haywire cataclysm.
Ladybug got an idea, asking the Lunar Dragons, "Could you both fire off another sphere of energy to help the rest of the team out"?
"Of course, Ladybug, it would be an honor," Lunar Dragon Yin answered.
"here do you want us to launch it to," Lunar Dragon Yang asked.
Ladybug swung up to the top of a lamppost and held up the disco ball, saying, "Right here at the disco ball."
"Not on our watch! Stop them," Bowser ordered as his armies and Gargamel's hawk and cat charged at Ladybug and the Lunar Dragons.
"Not so fast! Howl of the Moon," Silver Claw shouted as he launched, "Howl of the Moon," which sent Bowser's armies away.
"I'm seriously going to hate your guts, Silver Claw !" Said Bowser with anger while watching his army being sent away by Silver Claw's howl of the moon.
"I have a knack for that, Bowser..." Said Silver Claw while glaring at Bowser.
"You've been a thorn in our alliance, but now it's about to end, Silver Claw. Monty, Azrael, get Silver Claw's miraculous !" Ordered Gargamel while Monty flies towards Silver Claw and Azrael dashes towards Silver Claw, meowing threatingly and ready to pounce at the wolf hero.
"Flames Ignite," Flare-ence shouted as her hands become encased with fire, and she launched a fireball at Monty, who got hit hard and fell to the ground.
"Clout," Purple Tigress shouted as she slammed into Azaral's face, pushing the cat back, where it hissed in pain.
With the chance open, Lunar Dragon Yang summoned a ball of energy from the energy he collected from Bowser and Gargamel and tossed it at the disco ball, which reflected the light and hit all the heroes.
One by one, all of the heroes could feel their powers returning back to normal.
"We're back in action," Miss Hound cheered.
"Our powers are working right again," Pegasus commented in relief.
"You all will still fall under our control, and-," Catalyst started to say, until Rooster Bold kicked her tablet up into the sky, and one cataclysm from Cat Noir was all it took to destroy it and free the akuma.
"Finally! I've been itching to do that all day," Cat Noir commented while stretching his hand out.
"No more evil-doing for you, little akuma! Time to de-evilize," Ladybug shouted before she caught the akuma, saying, "gotcha"!
She then released it, the akuma now pure and white again, saying, "Bye bye little butterfly."
Bowser and Gargamel could feel all of the heightened strength they had now faded away and disappeared, Azareal and Monty shrinking and returning back to their small, weak size.
"Miraculous Ladybug," Ladybug shouted while throwing the lucky charm up, which helped turn everything back to normal.
With everything restored, all the heroes came together in a fist bump, saying, "Pound it," in unison.
"We'll be back; you pesky heroes ahven't seen the last of us," Bowser bitterly stated as he and his armies, Gargamel, Azareal, Monty, and Nathalie all disappeared into a dark portal.
Before we finish this chapter we have 2 post-chapter scenes and without further ado, here they are :
"That was still so crazy the way our powers went all haywire like that," Raphtalia commented as she, Marinette, and Alix were walking through the park.
"I know; I'm just glad we didn't need to time travel or else who else how that would've ended up," Alix mentioned, the girls laughing in response.
"Yeah; maybe the leaning tower of Pisa would've been learning back and forth like a pendulum," Marinette joked, which made Raphtalia and Alix break into hard laughter again.
"Or the lost city of Atlantis would've just gotten lost at the mall," Raphtalia joked, which made the laughter increase.
However, the girls were so distracted, they didn't see that a worker was pushing a cart with a cement ball on it over to where a new statue was being built. The cart's door hatch broke, which made the door slide off, and the ball rolled off the cart, heading toward the girls.
The worker, seeing this, called out to them, saying, "Hey, look out"!
At the sound of his shout, the girls looked and saw the incoming cement ball, which prompted them to let out a shocked scream and quickly run back to avoid it.
but when Raphtalia ran, she accidentally tripped on a fallen tree root and fell to the ground, still in the path of the incoming cement ball.
Marinette noticed this, calling out, "Raphtalia, look out"!
Raphtlaia recovered from the fall but looked up and saw the cement ball heading towards her, with no time to get out of the way before it collided with her.
Suddenly, a new voice shouted, "Air strike shield"!
On cue, just before the cement ball could hit Raphtalia, a green glowing shield formed in between her and the cement ball, blocking it before it seemingly pushed the cement ball out of the way.
Marinette and Alix watched in disbelief, with Alix saying, "Woah! Raphtalia, how did you do that"?!
"I..I didn't," Raphtalia replied before she gasped, recognizing that move, and more specifically, who she KNEW could do it, saying, "But I know who did.."
"Are you alright," the voice who called out the air strike shield earlier asked, which prompted the girls to look and see who the voice belonged to, and it was someone Raphtalia knew very well.
The figure was a man with short spiky black hair, green eyes, and pale skin, who wore Barbarian +3 armor, dark green pants, grey boots with brown buckled rims on the top, matching swamp green gloves with armor on them, a green cape with a fluffy hood, and the most notable trait on the man was a silver shield with a green emerald in the middle.
Raphtalia gasped, covering her mouth in disbelief, saying softly in shock, "Master...Naofumi"!
Post-chapter scene 2 :
"Princess Malty !" Kamek and Barrel said, bursting through the door.
"GAH!" Malty yelped in shock before recomposing herself. "Barrel and DemiDevimon…! How many times do I have to tell you to knock on the door before entering…!?"
At first glance, everyone should always knock on the door before entering so as not to cause a heart attack for the one who is on the other side of the door.
"Sorry, your highness but we have something to tell you." The magikoopa apologized before saying.
"Umm… Majesty, since when do you play the piano?" Barrel asked with a bit of confusion.
"Huh…!?" Malty exclaimed as she watched her piano room before turning to see his two lackeys. "Bah, that's not your business, now what do you want here? I hope it's good news."
"Good news…!" Kamek and Barrel spoke in shock.
"It's kinda funny you're telling it because sadly it is not something that you're waiting for…!" Barrel said with a bit of nervous laughter.
"It's something that we saw with the human alter-egos of Ladybug, Bunnyx alongside Raphtalia." Kamek added.
"What did you two see?" The princess asked them both.
"What did we see?" Barrel and Kamek repeated their questions to themselves.
"You know, Hawk Moth has been asking to spy any enemy and as it turns out, there's two new heroes with Ladybug and that cursed boy : Samuel "Sam" Noctis." Malty said before asking them again. "What did you two see?"
"Oh… well, we..." Kamek and Barrel stuttered out before being interrupted.
"Kamek… Barrel…" Malty said with a slightly stern voice.
"Hmmm?" Barrel said, smiling nervously.
Malty smirked before waving her finger in a 'come here' gesture, making both villains approach the lying and deceitful princess.
"I know you've been hiding something from me..." Malty said with a knowing tone, making Kamek and Barrel gulp loudly.
"Hiding... something?" Barrel asks nervously.
"About those new heroes who joined Ladybug and her pathetic allies." She continued, still smirking, making Barrel's legs begin to shake in fear, before he hid behind Kamek who smiled sheepishly.
"The new heroes of Paris with Ladybug ?" Barrel repeated, squeaking out.
"Yeah, is that right?" Malty asks, leaning her head close to both, big smile and half-lidded eyes, pointing the tips of her fingers at Kamek and Barrel, making the poor skeleton-masked child yelp in fear not wanting to inform about Naofumi's return and to avoid punishments just like the ones from Hawk Moth and Tsurugi.
"Should we wait until Hawk Moth arrives?" Barrel asked, trying to change the subject.
"Yeah, after all he's the one who leads the Akuma attacks in the troops and…" Kamek tried to speak more.
"Oh for crying out loud, just SPIT IT OUT!" Malty shouted while waiting for their information about the heroes' team, then just Barrel spit a drop of saliva to the ground, at the answer of that it made the evil princess facepalm herself. "No, I meant it figuratively, not literally."
Barrel couldn't hold the truth any longer and he yelled in meltdown.
"We tried everything, princess Malty! But those heroes are unstoppable!" Barrel explained. "Even when the shield hero is part of the team! We still lose, and now he is back and he saved Raphtalia against an accident in a construction site and…!"
"The Shield hero?" Malty asks confused before gasping and realizing, and also preparing her flame magic as she asked angrily after hearing the return of Naofumi aka "The Shield hero". "WHEN DID HE RETURN?!"
Now both of them made a big mistake as they were witnessing Malty's fury.
"The Shield hero…?" Barry asked before slightly pushing Bowser away, trying to slip away while trying to appease the angry princess. "Who... who... who... who... Who said anything about that shield hero? It was Kamek the one who requested me…"
Just as Kamek was trying to sneak away and Barrel was playing the fool, Malty snatched him quickly by grabbing him by the shirt's collar with the right hand and grabbing Barrel by the head by using his left hand.
"You two…!" Malty spoke sinisterly as Kamek and Barrel gulped nervously knowing what was coming for them.
"What are you gonna do with us?" Barrel asked, terrified.
"You, Kamek!" Malty called him.
"Yes, your highness…!" Kamek said.
"Put your finger close to that piano !" Instructed Malty and Kamek do exactly as Malty said then the princess slammed the piano box on Kamek's fingers.
"FIND OUT WHERE'S NAFUMI AND WHAT HE'S PLANNING WITH LADYBUG AND THAT CURSED BOY : SAMUEL "SAM" NOCTIS !" Ordered Malty furious.
"On it, Princess Malty, your words is the command !" Said Barrel afraid.
"Ow ! Your highness can I remove my finger from the piano box please ?" Asked Kamek in pain.
"No ! As Bowser would said : Pain is the best teacher !" Replied Malty.
There we go, another chapter finished. This one took longer but no matter, it's finished and it's absolutely one of my favorites requests of that fanfic.
