Returners Rounds [Part 4]

The crowd was excited as it the last date of the Returners Round with April O'Neil, who was proving to be a crowd favorite. As the portal to the dating zone opened, her and Yuki went right ahead.

[New York City, TMNT'87verse]

Yuki and April found themselves right in front of the Channel 6 newsroom…right in the tail end of a broadcast.

"April! Where the hell have you been?" Vernon squealed.

"Funny story about that…I was just getting back from being chosen by otherworldly beings to take this guy on a date." April said casually. "I literally just portaled into the room."

April turned to her camera and winked.

"Sadly, this may mean I'm off the market. Sorry boys. This is April O'Neil of Channel Six News, signing off." April said as the camera cut.

She could not hear it, but millions of boys and men all wailed out in sadness that the object of their crush was taken. April had to explain to Burne what happened who was skeptical.

"Let me get this straight, you were chosen out of millions of women in the multiverse to take part in an interdimensional dating show. And you made it to the final three against a ninja and a gunwoman from the South China Sea." Burne said.

"Yes!" April said pointing out to the floating camera. "I think the floating cameras that aren't ours and are above anything we have is proof enough."

"I don't know…"

"Excuse me." Yuki said coming into Burne's office.

"This is the guy this dating show is all around…he looks like kid." Burne remarked.

"I'm old enough." Yuki sharply stated. "And I believe you'll have no issue with us heading out, from one CEO to another."

"You're a CEO?" Burne asked incredulously.

"I run a tech company that's extended to other forms of business. XanTech. In fact, April is wearing one of my inventions, the XanBand." Yuki said as April used it swap over to the dress, coat, and heels that Yuki bought. "The Earth I'm living on is ahead of your verse by nearly three decades."

"So, can you get me some valuable information about the future? I'd be willing to pay for that." Burne asked with a grin.

"My history on your country is something I'm looking into, but it may not be the same as yours. So, I can't just tell you anything…a bit risky. But I will say this…Nintendo is going to dominate the gaming market so invest in that company. It'll take a while…though." Yuki said before leaving with April.

"Is that going to make him rich?" April asked.

"It will." Yuki remarked. "And it'll secure your job."

They left the building to see it was nighttime.

"Nighttime again." Yuki remarked as April snickered.

"But yeah, at least this XanBand of yours beats having a watch." April said using it to see what time it is. "11:30?! Well that's just great…nearly everywhere is closed."

"It ain't all too bad, we should just chill at your place. Kick back a few cold ones…and chill with a movie." Yuki said as April gives him the side eye.

"Something tells me you won't be…wait a minute, the movie theaters are open and they play hard R movies late. And there's one playing Scarface tonight!" April said with an eager grin before taking Yuki's arm. "Come on, this is going to be fun."

As they were leaving, someone followed them. As they were walking to said movie theater, they were accosted by street thugs…only for April to blast them all away with her ring leaving the thugs in a heap. It had made her less wary of walking the streets…and Yuki being there made her less worried. One of the thugs tried to get up only to get shot in both kneecaps from Yuki's pistol. Once in the movie theater, they got snacks and got right in to watch Scarface. Yuki was not disappointed at all, save for the ending.

"Am I terrible for wishing he survived to gut Sosa?" Yuki said as the credits rolled.

"Nah, most people really hate Sosa." April said. "I just wish he never did the coke."

"The movie was pretty right on the rules of the game. You can't really be getting high on your own supply. Especially when it's coke…or heroin. I've seen what that shit does to people." Yuki said with a shudder.

"I'd believe you…you didn't seem like the time to have vices." April said.

"Not really. I was training to fight, so I had to keep my wits. At worst, it was liquor...not like it got bad though." Yuki said. "So, are we going to confront the person who was following us or not?"

April turned only to hear a thump and a familiar groan. There was Irma, looking sheepish that she was caught.

"I didn't really bother with her because she wasn't exactly a threat." Yuki said.

"I could be!" Irma said before getting a good look at Yuki. "I want to steal your heart…"

She practically purred that line out as she sauntered up eyeing like a prize.

"So you're the hotshot that just popped into our world…I'm Irma." Irma said shaking his head.

"Irma, he's on a date with me." April said.

"I'm share…you could share him a bit." Irma said. "This hunk could do with two lucky ladies on his arm."

Yuki could see it. Irma was thirsty…very thirsty. But he grabbed April and super speeded out of there leaving only a trail of Agapanthus petals.

"Wait, where did they go?" Irma said.

Up on the roof, both Yuki and April took to the skies right over to April's apartment building. April let Yuki into her place while apologize for Irma being boy-crazy.

April bit her lip, as Revy was gnashing her teeth as she watched. Revy was hoping that they didn't go for the home run. Those hopes were dashed when April wanted to continue where they left off from Vice City. As April and Yuki fiercely made out…Yuki broke the kiss.

"Think you can handle the cameras, I don't what we're about to will be appropriate for television." April said as Yuki immediately hacked the cameras.

The audience was pissed, and the hosts were trying to get their backup cameras working. Boomstick and Wiz had planned for this…and they also wanted to see April naked too. Yuki was heatedly necking April as she led him into her bedroom. April had swapped back to her jumpsuit as she was unzipping it.

"Is Irma okay though?" Wiz asked.

"I'd like that. I could use a change of pace…a new environment will a good way to do that. Just don't forgot about Tenten." Revy said as he nodded as April hugged him. "But what about you, April? Unlike she and me, you had something of a life back home."

"Well…I could use a change myself." April said sheepishly. "I was happy…I just didn't have something of a love life. I was always kinda busy either with my job, or being kidnapped, or some level of insanity in my life. I guess it's all that good of an excuse."

"Take a breather, April. You gave this a shot." Yuki said mirthfully.

"And we can finally bring the show to a close. It felt like forever, but we do have bonus content. Little shorts to highlight of your possible future with other contestants had they won." Boomstick said. "But aside from that, that's our show everyone."

As the crowd erupted, Yuki gazed into April's eyes as she did back to his. Maybe it was a good thing he did not see the possible future he had with April…he wanted to be surprised.

Aside from that, this was a fun romp and now it's all over save for the epilogue of course.)
