Tags: Finally doing an SI!Jaune fic, Our 'SI' is pissed to be there, Yellow Trailer didn't happen (IQ version of the Red Trailer instead), Metahumor, He has a special set of skills, Italicized text is the SI's thoughts, a bit of Gamer physics (Gamer Lite- think FusionFall/GTA/Saints Row PC)
The world of Remnant. Well of danger, but also wonder and magic…if you're willing to ignore the flaws. No, Remnant is a cruel, non-sensical hellhole and you'd rather be anywhere else in the multiverse, but no…I had to finish Volume 9 of that damned show and get isekaied into it from the beginning…as Jaune. Well, I reacted about as well as expected.
Jaune let out a bloodcurdling scream of pure rage as his body glowed white as his aura burst open flaring around him the room, shaking and rattling it, before it all faded. Jaune panted as his fists were still balled as he looked up at the mirror again.
"Well at least I still have my penis. And with this guy's semblance, I can go for even longer!" Jaune said with relief. "I'm surprised I even awakened my aura. But I need to know the date."
Then a text box appeared in his face.
"Gamer physics?" Jaune said looking through it. "Well, it's not the hardcore stuff…the setup is like GTA or FusionFall or Saints Row."
He had an Inventory for his items, money, and most importantly weapons aside from usual fare of bars for health and such. But nothing on quests, he wondered, he guessed this was the Remnant version of GTA Underground. He noticed that he had some things. For once money, in addition to the meagre life savings he had in his life…was all the money he had on his last run of SR2 which was a bit over a million. Not like it mattered given that lien would not last forever. Then he looked to his weapons inventory which was promising. Aside from Crocea Mors, he had a dozen Molotovs, a pair of brass knuckles, a pair of V-Chargers from FusionFall, and the Pimp Cane shotgun from Saints Row 2. It was a start.
The world really was his sandbox now as Jaune looked at the scroll to see it was several nights before Initiation meaning he really was at the beginning. Jaune bolted out of the hotel room and out into the streets…using his aura to pump his legs to sprint faster. Thoughts were on his mind over how to he could use aura differently…as ideas came to mind. However, he needed to get there…if anything, if he was going to get into Beacon, he refused to do it by fake transcripts.
Yes, it's petty. But I had a bit of pride in myself. I suppose I should be happy that the world around seems more inspired by Ice Queendom than RWBY proper. But it's kindly not enough to mask the fact that I'm in Remnant.
Jaune had found Dust Till Dawn before entering. It was surreal ending up here as he slowly took in the sights. And there she was…minding her own business. Ruby Rose.
It's one thing to see her on screen, another to be there standing next to her. You did in details like the texture of her hair, how smooth her skin is…yeah, it sounds weird, but I was one to calculate things. You could see the hints of Asian ancestry thanks to Taiyang would be. But I needed to stop thinking unneeded shit now.
Jaune simply took up a magazine and was skimming through it. He scanned the ads noticing some coupons to which he scanned around for a camera inside of the shop. When he found none, he made the magazine vanish into his Inventory right as Torchwick and two goons were making their entrance. Jaune moved away from Ruby to another aisle readying him.
"Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this time?" Roman said flicking his cigar on the counter.
The shopkeeper was pleading to just take the cash and go only for Roman to say that wanted the dust. As the first henchman got the gear to steal it, the second one moved for Ruby. Jaune stayed hidden slowly circling back to Ruby.
"Are you…robbing me?" Ruby asked.
"Yes!" Henchman 2 said.
"I don't think so." Jaune said, throwing a Molotov Cocktail in the man's face. "I think you can show him out, Red."
Ruby whirled on the crook using the momentum of her unfolding her weapon to hurl him through the window as she jumped out after him. Jaune moved to the front of the store.
"Going to get pass me first." Jaune said motioning for the Shopkeep to go out the back.
"What makes you think we won't get pass you?" Roman asked as Jaune held up the Molotov. "A Molotov?"
Roman laughed and then Jaune threw it on the vials of Dust…very flammable Dust. Jaune ran away as both Roman and the goon scrambled before the briefcase exploded.
"Oh my gosh, the dust shop!" Ruby said worriedly. "The shopkee-"
"He's fine. Went out the back…we need to worry about them." Jaune said swapping to his Pimp Cane.
The first henchman got up only to be shot by Ruby. Due to the explosion, his aura broke easily as Roman sighed.
"You were worth every cent. Truly, you were." Roman said before looking at Red. "Well, Red. I think we can all say it's an eventful even-"
Roman saw me…blatantly stealing shit off the two unconscious henchman. I didn't give a damn. They were bad guys, so I was going to steal their shit. Money, weapons, dust…but I think Roman was concerned to see one of them had stolen the suit off one mook's body…while wearing the red glasses that mook had on. Ruby looked over to see me which let Roman bolt.
"Oi, Ruby. He's getting away!" Jaune said as they went after him.
Ruby was following him as he was climbing up as Jaune had an idea. Focusing his aura on his legs, Jaune leapt high into the air landing on the roof surprisingly both Ruby and Roman.
"How did you do that? Was that your semblance?" Ruby asked.
"Lame semblance if you ask me." Roman said.
"Piss off, Torchwick. You're too lazy to discover yours." Jaune snarked as Roman clearly looked irked. "Else if you did, you'd be using it. Bitch."
As if on cue, the Bullhead came up opening for Roman.
"Looks like my ride is…what are you doing?"
Jaune raised her hand taking a deep breath as aura flowed around him.
"Kiyah!" Jaune roared using a kiai.
"Ki-"
The shockwave that smacked into him knocked the wind out of him causing him to drop the Fire Dust Crystal and send him hurdling into the Bullhead, smack into the metal wall. Jaune snatched up the crystal and jumped into the Bullhead making sure to snatch away Roman's cane, cigars, his lighter, cash in his wallet, his scroll, any Dust he had on him, and even his hat for his Inventory. Then he saw Cinder coming up, she merely glared at him taking aim.
There she was. The bitch. She had backed up against the Bullhead. A step back and I fell to my death. A step forward would get me burned. She asked me if I had any last words…
"May I have one last smoke?" Jaune said producing a cigar. "If I'm going to die, I want one last smoke."
Cinder humored me. I lit up the cigar with the lighter before jabbing it right between Cinder's eyes. In the heat of the moment, I shoved that Fire Dust Crystal deep in those tits of hers before putting a hand on her shoulder, funneling aura to light that dress up.
BOOM!
The explosion was small and Roman would wake up to see Cinder's signed ass. Cinder looked down only to hear a camera flash. With the cigar in his mouth, Jaune jumped out and back first. Cinder, snapping out of her stupor and enraged, fired a magical blast down at him. He attempted to absorb the attack but trying to absorb magic…did not exactly work. It electrocuted him and Cinder before making a blinding explosion. All he could see was white…before fading to black.
Worth it. It was all worth it to see that body…even if it's a bit on the skinny side. I'd aware, but not in the land of consciousness. Next to me was Amber, the maiden herself. Before I could say anything, she told me to wake up and we'd talk soon. Guess I'm doing some JPDE shit.
Jaune's eyes snapped open to see he was floating thanks to Glynda Goodwitch who let him down.
"You must be my guardian angel." Jaune said smoothly. "Nothing short of heavenly."
Glynda rolled her eyes.
"You two caused quite a commotion." Glynda said crossing her arms. "A dust store is on fire."
"Totally the bad guy's fault." Jaune said. "But don't worry, the owner is safe, and insurance will probably cover him."
"Yeah, we saved the day." Ruby said chipperly.
We still ended up at the police station in an integration. I decided to play snarker when Glynda slammed her crop on the table.
"So, you're going to spank us with that thing or not? I know you must be open about what you're into using a crop as a weapon." Jaune said as Glynda glared at him. "Glynda, if you keep mean mugging me, you'll ruin that vision of loveliness."
"Is this a game to you?" Glynda snapped, cracking the crop next to him.
"Glynda, as someone who wants to be a huntsman, I have to be aware if I mess up…my team will die, people will do. Mess up big time, everybody could die." Jaune said stunning Glynda. "That's right. Maybe that's too much to have in your head when you have to win. Maybe if I pretend everything's a big joke, when the time comes, I'll be able to do what I have to do."
"Whoa." Ruby said as Jaune learned back.
"Well spoken." Ozpin said coming with a plate of cookies and coffee. "Quite surprising sage words for one so young."
Ozpin had focused on Ruby as I kept quiet, only really taking a few cookies for myself. Ruby got the recommendation to come to Beacon, and I was happy for her. And then he turned to me, asking about me.
"Me? The name's Jaune Arc. And I want to be a huntsman, and I'm here because I wanted to get in not by transcripts, but through your recommendation alone." Jaune said as Glynda laughed at him. "You're wondering how…well, I'll tell you…only between you, me, and Glynda."
Ruby was excused out as Glynda went on about there was nothing Jaune could say that would just have Ozpin let him into Beacon.
"I'm sorry, I was under the impression you needed every bit of help against Salem." Jaune said as Glynda dropped her jaw.
Ozpin sipped his coffee.
"So you know." Ozpin mused. "The question is how much."
"How about I say something that even Glynda herself doesn't know?" Jaune mused. "I don't think she knows we're all fighting your ex-wife, Ozma."
Ozpin choked on his coffee as Glynda looked to Ozpin.
"How?" Ozpin asked.
"Because you and I have something in common, we're both men who ended up in bodies that weren't ours to begin with." Jaune remarked taking another cookie. "Though my case is a bit more extreme."
"Then what happened to the per-"
"Gone. Good riddance, that dumbass was trying into Beacon with fake transcripts and not having his aura awakening." Jaune said nonchalantly. "Harsh, yes, but it was out of my control."
"So what was your name before all this?" Ozpin asked. "Only seems fair."
I suppose I could have given my name, but that name did not matter anymore. I had another name in mind, as I always liked names with meaning.
Jaune offered his hand.
"Vittorio. It means both victor and conqueror."
Ozpin shook it.
"Well then, Jaune V. Arc, welcome to Beacon Academy." Ozpin said as Glynda sputtered.
"Glynda, I guess I'll seeing you there." Jaune remarked.
"That's Ms. Goodwitch to you." Glynda said.
"But you're far too long to be called a Miss." Jaune said as Glynda's eye twitched.
"I'm-"
Glynda stopped herself, and simply left the room flustered.
"You know she'll be harder on you." Ozpin remarked as Jaune took the last cookie.
"Good. I can actually learn from her…plus it's a game. If she stops me, she admits she's old. She's got enough of an ego to let it slide." Jaune said before they left the room.
"You're okay." Ruby said coming up.
"I'm fine. I just managed to talk my way into Beacon, so I'll be seeing you there." Jaune said with a roguish wink before making his leave. "I'll be seeing you in a few days, doll face."
"Hold it."
[Cues: Group-Forty Orchestra – Eastside Story]
And there she was. Yang Xiao Long. The blonde dame that made herself the target of many male's fantasies with her double Ds and boisterous personality…in the good old days. Before Adam…before Blake. I know I had to do what I could to be prevent her from doing down that dark path…and get my hands on those melons someday.
Yang came up to Jaune and he caught her hand that she was about to poke his chest with.
"I've been looking for you. Yang Xiao Long, right? You burn even brighter to light up by the moonlight in person." Jaune said smoothly catching Yang off guard. "I've heard the word out that you're looking for this special someone."
"Flatterer, but the person I'm looking for isn't a boyfriend." Yang said taking her hand back.
"Oh no, of course not. You're looking for the person who walked away from you…the mother who left you behind. But I can't stay…so I'll see you later." Jaune said before leaving the door.
Yang would run outside after me, but I had already moved out of sight. I think I made an impression, and now her thoughts will be on what I know of her mother.
"Where did he go?" Yang asked as her father asked about him. "He had what I wanted."
"You sure about that?" Taiyang asked Ozpin walked up.
"I don't doubt it. He knows more than he lets out." Ozpin said cryptically.
Jaune watched from a rooftop before taking off.
[Music Ends]
Leaping from rooftop, Jaune savored being able to able to essentially move like a ninja of the night. In doing so, he got an alert from the System, something was waiting for him back at his hotel room. He got to moving.

Cinder Fall was nothing short of enraged. First the robbery goes bad, but someone decided to completely ruin her night. And while she had survived the explosion and the damaged Bullhead being sent hurdling through the air, she was stuck naked with a broken arm, her other arm had a broken shoulder, and a concussion. Roman, by some twisted irony, had barely a scratch on him and was laughing as Cinder was fighting to stay conscious.
"Give me your jacket!" Cinder snarled.
"Nah." Roman said pushing open the door. "Seems we crashed near the docks."
"When I get out of here, I'm going to flay you and that blonde asshole alive!" Cinder roared.
"That blonde asshole stole my hat, my cane, my scroll, my cigars, my wallet, and even my lucky lighter. I'm actually pretty damn impressed." Roman said before looking back at Cinder. "I could help you…but I'm not exactly in a helping mood considering you forced us to help you."
He could see people coming in the distance so Roman dipped leaving Cinder alone. Cinder was found…by dock workers as Cinder feebly got up only to collapse.

Jaune arrived back at the hotel to see a glowing mission marker that had the Arc emblem. He walked into it as he got a textbox.
I got some spiel welcoming me to the game and stuff. The usual fare, but I was more interested in the fact that the stuff that put this together was a mix of several times…and that I had logic GTA/SR logic over it. Meaning dying would be a slap on the wrist for me…or getting arrested. There was a lot for me to do, and all at my own pace. There were even diversions straight out of Saints Row, and a lot of shit imported into the world. I had a lot of options. The blurb finished by letting me know I had a safehouse…while my map and phone would be upgraded.
Jaune's stuff was already moved to the new place as he looked at his new upgraded phone.
"Huniebee features?" Jaune said to himself. "Hell yeah, but let's get to the new place."
He checked out the hotel as he was walking along only to hear noise from an alley. He looked in to see a woman backed up on the wall with a looming guy over her. Jaune was given by a choice by the System, either to walk away or do something. He decided to do something and headed in the alley.
"So you thought you can skip out on paying me my money, Akio?"
"No, I was getting it…I just lost-"
He cuts off with a gut punch sending her to the ground.
"Don't worry, I'll take my…who the hell are you?"
"For her, a guardian angel. For you, the grim fucking reaper." Jaune said cracking his knuckles.
The loan shark lumbered up as Jaune grabbed him and jumped into the air several hundred feet before hurling him down towards the ground. Jaune would float down to the ground as the loan shark smashed into the ground with a splat.
"You killed him." Aiko said, briefly stunned before regaining her composure. "Well better him than me."
"You're welcome." Jaune said, snatching the money out of his wallet and finding keys. "But we need to go."
"Why?" Aiko said before hearing police sirens. "Shit."
I had a wanted star. I don't know why considering she was the only witness, but whatever. Game logic. I found his car, a silver Millah Compensator. We got in and took off. But cops were sniffing around.
"Shit, you got a plan?" Aiko asked.
"Avoid them and get out of sight." Jaune said.
He was grateful for the mini-map which allowed him to avoid cop cars. His wanted star was flashing…before vanishing alongside the police blips on his map.
"Looks like the cops aren't looking for us anymore. Anywhere I could drop you off?" Jaune asked.
"I might not be able to stay at my place. That guy you killed? He had friends. Not powerful ones, but he has an association with Roman Torchwick." Aiko explained.
"I just fought with him a while ago. Stole his hat and his cane. Even his wallet." Jaune said revealing Roman's bowler hat.
Aiko looked horrified.
"He tried to rob a dust store, so I stepped in." Jaune remarked.
"Kid, you got a deathwish?" Aiko asked him. "He's the biggest crime boss in town."
"He's only as threatening with his backup dancers around him." Jaune said.
"Well, my apartment's here." Aiko said as he pulled over. "Wai-actually, you should get that thing resprayed. There's a mod shop not far from here. Here's my number…call me when your done."
He got her number as she left. He drove off following the map to the nearest mod shop, a local Transfenders.
I knew how it worked. I drove it and got the truck resprayed and modified. Got it painted black with the metallic grill and pipes painted gold. Given I had robbed Roman of his fat stacks of cash, I had more than enough to modify the engine, and improve everything. Even got the wheels bigger, nitrous, and gold tribal patterns on it. Once I was done, I paid…drove out and went for where my first safehouse was. I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed given it was given to me for free.
"The Red Light Loft from Saints Row 2." Jaune grumbled. "Well, it's a start."
Fittingly enough, the place was in the red light district of Vale…full of vice for who sought pleasure. There was a glowing marquee for his 'garage' which was just a spot to put the cars in 'hammerspace'. Jaune got out of the truck and went down the stairs to the door when opened for him. He entered…to a rather grungy place. A bug- ridden mattress with dirty pillows, a tiny TV on a worn wooden table, and newspaper to line the grimy walls. It was basically inhabitable, let alone for two people. There was a clean box in the middle of the room with a note on it.
I was so glad to see that Crib Customization icon floating there and I didn't hesitate to use it to upgrade the place. Overall set up was the same as SR2 so I opted for the Pimp Pad style to get myself a nice kitchen, get that crap TV upgraded to a 42 inch TV with Stereo, turn that pile of boxes to a nice desk with some books and a computer, and finally get rid of that bug bed for a Sectional Pimp Bed as it came with a changing curtain. Once I was done, I looked around…seeing I also now had a fridge…and a door to a bathroom and shower. I was not complaining at all…however.
"I need a microwave. And a portable stove." Jaune said before getting the tutorial on how safehouses worked. "Well at least I got my computer back."
He looked over to see his setup on his desk before looking at the note which exploded into a textbox.
[Mr. Jaune Arc, welcome to Remnant Underground. We at XanTech look forward to enabling your wonton desires by supplying you means for business both legal and illegal. Think of us as SecuroServ in a way, willing to supply you as a VIP…for a price. Which you already paid. By the time, you're done reading this…you should receive the XanServ app and be missing 10 grand for it. I look forward to seeing what you'll do. Have fun, Vittorio. – Xan Ice (P.S. The box has some comforts from your old life (moment you open it, it'll appear around her safehouse) and something very useful to you.)]
The textbox vanished as Jaune's map updated again to show markers for restaurants, clothing shops, weapons shops, activities…among all the usual fare.
"Well Mr. Xan Ice, thanks…I guess." Jaune said opening the box.
As Xan Ice stated, stuff showed up around the place. His old gaming consoles, the rest of his equipment for his computer, his bookshelf, and even his candy stash. However, inside the box was a book.
"Groundbreaking Sci-Oh…Mr. Ice. You gave me a great gift." Jaune said with a cackle as the System asked if he wanted to read it.
He hit yes as the book dissolved into blue sparkles knowing the knowledge within. He had some of the knowledge until…but the book fully solidified it. He left the house getting back in his truck before calling Aiko as he drove back to get her.
"You ok?" Jaune asked.
"No, I'm not. His friends are here!" Aiko said as he was seeing her run out with a suitcase.
He pulled over to get her in to see three men come out of the apartment building. Jaune got out of the car standing in their way.
"Get out of the-"
Jaune slammed his fist into the man's gut before kicking his jaw to send him in arc into the ground.
"From today forward, any debts this woman had is forgiven. Walk away if you want to keep breathing." Jaune remarked.
The second guy tried to punch me and let him. Idiot didn't have aura on, so for him it was like punching a concrete wall. Poor bastard broke his hand and then I blow him away with my Pimp Cane. The third one looked at me as I twirled my cane.
"You don't know who you're messing with. Torchwick'll…"
Jaune smacked him with his Pimp Cane as the mook landed on his back.
"Torchwick? I stole this from Torchwick." Jaune said swapping his cane for Roman's cane aiming it at his head. "Now, I got a deal for you. I want information on Vale's criminal underworld. Everything. Tell me that and you'll be free to leave. Or you can get shot."
That mook sang like a canary and it was rather important. Vale was craved up between Torchwick's organization and a few smaller gangs alongside the White Fang's presence. Underground gun shops and all sorts of shit that was valuable to me. I let the mook go. I'll give him this, he did drag his two unconscious buddies with him. I put the weapons away in my Inventory as I go to Aiko.
"You're gotta be a huntsman with that all that skill." Aiko said.
"Actually, I'm about to be in-training. I start Beacon in a few days." Jaune said right as Aiko was slack-jawed. "Look, save the shock for later. You have a microwave?"
With his help, Aiko got the rest of things in the truck before he drove off with her.
"All this running around…and I don't even know your name. I'm Aiko. Aiko Yumi." Aiko said.
"Call me Vittorio." Jaune remarked. "So why were getting in bed with loan sharks?"
"Long story, here's the short version. I was a university teacher at Sunnyvale University. I wasted my life studying to be this 'educated' because of my parents. I spend my days slogging it teaching while at night…I savor the nightlife. I…also had a gambling habit." Aiko said as Jaune sighed.
"I will help you out but no more gambling. It's clear you suck at it if you got loan sharks coming down on you." Jaune said as Aiko pouted.
"Are you going to prevent me from drinking and getting laid too?" Aiko snarked.
"No. I just don't want you to gamble. You want to drink, fine. You want to fuck…well I'm gladly do that as I don't want any dude in my place." Jaune snarked back.
"You sure you know how to please me?" Aiko sniped. "I bet you can't even figure out my cup size let alon…"
"Your five foot four, you have D cups, you're most valued thing in a partner is their sexuality, and you like being choked." Jaune said bluntly.
Aiko sat there completely flabbergasted.
"How did you know that?" Aiko asked.
"Telekinesis." Jaune lied.
"Ok, can you tell me what I'm thinking of now?" Aiko asked.
"You want some Mistralian sake?" Jaune guessed.
"Damn. You really are psychic. That's your semblance or something?" Aiko asked.
"No, that's just me using aura. I am working towards a fighting style that usings aura to it's fullest." Jaune said. "Telekinesis, energy shields, enhancing the body, and flight."
"Bullshit." Aiko said.
How did I prove it to her? Well I stopped the truck, got out, and lifted that hunk of metal up before flying into the air. I put the truck down right in front of my loft after flying with it. Aiko was clearly shaken, but she admitted that she was wrong. Thankfully the System let me buy the rest of property the loft was for $10,000. Meaning Aiko could have the upstairs room. Of course, I was going to ask about rent.
"Oh come on, I think we can make an alternative arrangement to rent." Aiko said sweetly.
"Contribute to the groceries and I'll call it even." Jaune remarked.
"Deal." Aiko said as Jaune produced a key. "Your room is upstairs through that door. Mine is downstairs."
I'd help her get settled and store away my truck. Given the long night I'd had, I'd go straight to bed…I could explore the Huniebee stuff tomorrow. No, I wasn't going to wear that damned onesie. Boxers for me. As I laid down on that bed, I was having some thoughts. Now that I fully knew I was doing, I could teach others…and now I had the perfect cover as a pioneer of new auric martial arts. I got a week until Beacon, may as well make the most of it.

Emerald and Mercury arrived at Vale General Hospital to be shown Cinder's room as a few doctors were working on her. Emerald asked what happened to her seeing Cinder was out cold and sweating.
"Broken bones, a concussion, and some kind of infection in her bloodstream. We had to sedate her because she woke up screaming." The doctor said.
"Oh god, who the hell did this to you?" Emerald asked before remembering Torchwick.
She stopped outside to call him, demanding to know what happened.
"What happened? I'll tell you what happened. Someone decided to be a hero and actually succeeded. Looks like your ashen friend isn't so unbeatable after all. So, consider this my resignation. And don't worry, I've already taken the liberty of telling the White Fang what happened to her. So it looks like you're out of allies." Roman said before hanging up on her.
"Well, looks like we-"
"Find and kill the asshole to did this!" Emerald snarled.
"You do realize that Cinder would not do the same for you, right? She wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire." Mercury bluntly said as Emerald was not listening. "Emerald?"
Her mind was purely on revenge.

[Cue BGM: Digimon World OST - Underground Lab]
In a pitch black room with the only light being the many computer monitors around the room, a man was seen staring at the screen in front of him intently while typing on his keyboard rapidly. This man was old with dishevelled grey hair, a matching moustache, beard, and prominent eyebrows. His eyes were red, with his left eye and right arm being robotic. He wears a high collared grey jacket with a red shirt underneath, black pants, and matching boots.
"Almost there, just a little more…" The man muttered before an audible ping went off on his monitor making him stare at it in surprise before he gained a sick smirk. "Excellent now let's see if it works in actuality."
He pressed the enter key downloading it and nearby, mechanical whirl and clicks were heard as something came to life and red lights glowed in the darkness.
"Yes, my creations LIVE! Soon the world will face the full wrath of Dr. Merlot and they'll regret throwing me away like garbage, especially you two fools, Ozpin and Ironwood! Maybe I just take down on that bloated immortal witch too." The man cackled madly before going into a coughing fit. "Got to work on that."
then types a few keys before bringing up an image of the City of Vale which was cleaning up the mess of the robbery.
"Perfect testing grounds for my creations, both to see how they function in an urban environment and to see how they fare against low-level threats," said while gaining a wicked grin. "This will also serve as my calling card, telling the world that I've returned from my little hiatus."
The Mad Scientist lets out a chuckle before a beeping makes him look at one of his screens in confusion before clicking a button and he sees a restrained Alpha Beowolf howling in fury as it thrashes about in its chains. The sight makes the old man give a sick chuckle before pressing the intercom and begins speaking to the werewolf Grimm.
"Oh, what's wrong little puppy? Are you mad that I killed off your wittle pack to make my Grimm Cell Batteries?" mockingly said to it.
The Alpha snarls at the voice and only tries harder to break out of its chains, wanting so desperately to rip the human's throat out.
"Don't worry you will be reunited soon enough." The Doctor laughed before starting up a program. "But not in the way you'll expect, as of now you will be my first…..Cyberized Grimm."
With the press of a button, a process started in the room the Alpha Beowolf was held in as the chains it was restrained in began to glow in whitish-blue energy before it started to shock the Grimm, making it howl in total agony. Its body was being forcefully changed and mutate as Merlot watched the process happening with a cold expression on his face and a cup of tea in his hand. Soon the process stopped and the Beowolf went silent, its head drooped down within the smoke. For a few moments, the Grimm seemed dead before it opened its eyes, still red but now more mechanical with yellow crosshairs. When the smoke finally cleared the Alpha Beowolf looked more mechanized covered in sleek obsidian metal with bulky white bone-like armor plating on various parts of its body, most notably around on its shins, arms, chest, and a face in the shape of a metal bone mask with yellow markings decorating it. Its tail also had multiple serrated spikes all along it with the tips being red.
"Yes! Yes! Mechanization complete!" Dr. Merlot cackled before releasing the chains. "Now to add the final touch."
He pressed another button, and a lifter arm came down with a core of some kind it was black with red electricity crackling around it. The now Cyberized Alpha Beowolf opened its chest before the core was inserted. Once it was in, the C.A.B's claws, teeth, and tail spikes glowed a bloody red color and let out a haunting mechanical howl, ready to rip and tear.
"Patience my little slaughter machine, you'll get to feel the blood of fools on your claws soon enough," Dr. Merlot said, making the C.A.B calm down. "First, we need to see what you're capable of in a simulation and then I need to create more foot soldiers for you to lead into battle and test them. Once that's done...then you'll get to rip and tear to your soulless metal heart's content."
However, then a thought came to mind. Beacon's initiation was only a few days away, all those young, inexperienced fledglings wanting to be hunters. They were perfect…as test subjects and prey. The Mad Scientist begins to chuckle softly before it then turns into a full blow insane cackle that echoed throughout his base, the World of Remnant would never be the same after this day.
(A/N: A new miniseries? Well do, this is just the pilot episode I released for a potential smaller-scale series. So many SI-Jaune fanfics, so many gamer ones…and given my kick for GTA-styled fanfiction lately, I wanted to give a spin on the cliché for kicks and out of an earnest desire to recycle bits of two fanfictions I've worked on with ARandoSage, Trials of Fable and PROJECT: Fighter, both projects there were sadly cancelled. Thus, this pilot came to be. If enough reviews on this chapter are made, I'll consider making this into it's own miniseries. So let's see if anyone's interested.)
What to Expect If it's a Series:
Action for one with aura being expanded to be treated as ki over time.
Antagonists outside of Salem that aren't working with here.
