Power Woman Wife of Goku – Episode Eighteen Cooler's Revenge

Cooler's Planetary Headquarters located somewhere in the far reaches of the Former Frieza Empire, morning
A tall purple-white fourth-form male Frieza race member sat on a throne atop a windswept hill. His tail flicked lazily as he regarded two of his three henchmen; a scaly brown bald male reptilian and a green-skinned male with long black hair. He appeared to be bored.
"Master Cooler, bad news. Your brother and your father have both been killed." A third henchman reported in a thick French-sounding accent after running up to the throne. He bore pale blue skin and a mop of unruly yellow hair.
"Oh, is that right? And who, Salza, may I ask did the deed?" Cooler asked in his cultured voice.
"It reportedly was a Saiyan, Master Cooler." The blue-skinned henchman answered.
"Well, I sure hope somebody picks up that phone because I called. I never did like Saiyans. I told my father many times we should have gotten rid of them years before my brother destroyed their miserable planet, sorry I mean a rogue asteroid destroyed their planet." Cooler said with disdain. He then rose from his throne. "Salza, do we know where it happened?"
"Yes, Master Cooler, an insignificant muck ball world named Earth by its weakling inhabitants," Salza said.
"Salza, Neiz (the reptilian), Dore (the green-skinned henchman), I think a field trip is in order before I consolidate control of my new Empire," Cooler said smirking. His expression of dark mirth hid a deeply troubled mindset. If there was a Saiyan strong enough to have killed his brother and father such a being posed a serious ongoing threat to his rule. Such a threat could not be ignored to do so would be foolhardy. "The Earthlings will rue the day they harbored one of those smelly monkeys."
Dragon Ball Earth sometime later a campsite in the Great Northern Forest, dusk
"It's nice having some downtime," Krillin said while stirring a large pot of stew. "I can't believe no one else wanted to come camping with us."
"Their loss," Oolong said. "Wow, that smells fantastic what's in there?"
"Oh, just the essentials potatoes, carrots, celery, and fish if Goku and the kids ever catch any," Krillin said. He paused briefly. "I'm a bit envious of Goku. He has two great kids and a third one on the way. Heck, that jerk Vegeta has snagged himself a wife and family and Tien has two girls Starfire and Launch fighting over him. I wonder if I'll ever find Mrs. Right, you know?"
"No need to worry. I don't have a girl in my life, I'm happy. And you have plenty of time left to find someone, trust me." Oolong said.
"Yeah, I suppose," Krillin said less than enthusiastically.
"Wow, he's big!" Zangya exclaimed barely holding onto the enormous fish with Gohan.
"Good job kids, but I can take it from here. Watch he's a slippery devil." Goku said as they handed him the fish nearly fumbling the transfer.
"I hope Carri feels better when we get home," Zangya said ringing some of the water from her long hair.
"Mom will be okay once our little brother or sister arrives the same goes for Duluma with her baby," Gohan said.
"Zangya, we've been over this already, more than once. Carri and I would prefer if you call us Mom and Dad, rather than Carri or Goku, okay? We consider a daughter." Goku said.
"Sure thing, Go-dad," Zangya said smiling.
A short time later the fish was gutted, sliced, and seasoned. and added to Krillin's bubbling stew. Everyone was getting ready to enjoy the meal when three strange and strong energy signatures appeared. Krillin and Goku exchanged worried glances.
"Hello monkey, perhaps you're the one we're looking for, hmmm?" Salza said spotting Goku's distinctive Saiyan hairstyle and tail.
"Get behind us," Goku said to the kids and Oolong as he and Krillin stepped forward in tandem.
"Who are you and what do you want?" Goku demanded. He took note of their familiar Frieza Force-style uniforms and their scouters.
"We are Cooler's Squadron. The elite fighting force of the Cooler Empire." Salza said announced. The third did a posing routine that reminded Goku and Krillin of the flamboyant Ginyu Force. "And we want you dead, monkey!"
The Cooler Squadron attacked Goku and Krillin who skilfully fended them off. Following an intense exchange of blows, Goku deflected a Ki blast from Salza. The Cooler Squadron regrouped a short distance away to reconsider their strategy. The Monkey and Earthling were tougher than they looked.
Salza's eyes went wide confusing Goku and Krillin. They were not that weak, were they? "Master Cooler, there is no need for your intervention. We have the situation under control." Salza insisted.
From behind our heroes Cooler approached. In his cultured voice now marred by a hint of annoyance he said. "It took us six months to get here and another year to locate this place before we left. I am not remaining on the ship."
Our heroes turned around to see who exactly was speaking. Each gasped in turn except for Zangya who was not sure why the others were so unnerved (having limited experience with Frieza and his father). "Frieza!?" Krillin exclaimed.
"Ha, you think he is Frieza fool, no, he is Cooler the superior older brother of Frieza." Salza scoffed.
"Be careful, Dad!" Gohan said.
"Yes, be careful, Dad," Zangya seconded sensing the immense power of this stranger.
"Ah, are these your children?" Cooler said.
"So what if they are?" Goku asked warily.
"I'm going to kill them, right now, and you're next," Cooler said.
Goku grabbed Gohan and Zangya and flew into the air shielding them with his back towards Cooler. At the same time, Krillin created a small destructo disc and hurled it at Cooler hoping to decapitate the villain. Cooler batted the destructo disc away without it causing him any harm. He then directed his purple eye beams at Goku badly burning Goku's back. In great pain, Goku flew as far as a nearby waterfall before he fell from the sky plunging into the fast-flowing river below.
Cooler closed the distance between himself and Krillin in a split second. Cooler grabbed Krillin around his throat hoisting him into the air until they were looking at each other eye to eye. "Search the river and if need be the forest. I want his body before we leave here." Cooler commanded.
"Yes, Master Cooler," Salza said before he and the rest of the Cooler Squadron flew off.
"Now, I'm going to ask you both some questions. If I like your answers I might just let you live." Cooler said to the struggling Krillin and the cowering Oolong.
A short time later
"Dad wake up, please!" Gohan cried. He and Zangya had managed to drag the injured Goku into a small cave located not far from the river.
"You can't die and leave us here alone!" Zangya cried.
"Don't say that! He's not going to die!" Gohan snapped.
"I-I'm, sorry," Zangya said tears welling up in her eyes. "I-I'm scared, Gohan."
"I know, so am I," Gohan said hugging her.
"Kids, no need to cry. I-I'm, still-still here." Goku groaned opening his eyes. He could barely move due to the pain (his back was on fire) but he was putting on a brave face. "W-Where are we?"
"We're hidden in a cave. I don't think anyone can find us here so we should be safe." Gohan said.
A series of intense explosions were heard. Unbeknownst to our intrepid trio, the Cooler Squadron was leveling the forest outside with a barrage of powerful Ki blasts. Luckily, the cave entrance remained undiscovered and was only partially blocked by falling debris. Cooler arrived not long afterward having pummeled Krillin into unconsciousness and terrifying Oolong into submission.
"So, where is the monkey's body?" Cooler asked taking note of the devastated patch of forest below their airborne position.
"Master Cooler, the body has likely been vaporized much like a good portion of this forest," Salza replied.
"Really, because until I see a body I believe my brother did a better job of killing him than you three," Cooler said thoroughly unimpressed. "By the end of this little excursion, I'll have someone's corpse tied to the bumper of my ship, pray it isn't one of yours."
The Cave
"Okay, one of us is going to have to go get help. Korin's Tower isn't too far away. We can get Senzu beans there for Dad." Gohan said.
"I'll go," Zangya volunteered. "You're the better fighter. You can protect him if anything happens."
"Okay, be careful," Gohan said he added. "I know you can do this."
"I'll try my best," Zangya said wishing she shared Gohan's confidence in her abilities.
"Remember, keep your power suppressed as low as possible to evade their scouters," Gohan advised.
"Will do," Zangya said with a forced smile and thumbs up.
Several hours later, dawn
Zangya retrieved the Sensu beans from Korin without issue. Korin also dispatched a reluctant Yajirobe to get help (lazy and cowardly as always he initially refused to go). Korin had suggested Zangya wait for the backup but she insisted the others were counting on her. During her return trip, Zangya's luck ran out. With her destination in sight, three sickeningly familiar forms surrounded her.
"Hello little girly, where is your monkey daddy?" Salza said.
She dodged Salza's and Neiz's Ki attacks but Dore grabbed her head squeezing it like a vice. "Hey boys, remember when I said I wanted to pop a guy's skull like a grape? Check this out." Dore gloated before a Ki blast forced him to drop Zangya.
"You won't be doing anything of the kind to my granddaughter." Said Gine the source of the Ki blast. Along with her floating Starfire and Piccolo.
"Okay, I think I got this one. Pretty one (Salza), stupid one (Dore), and one with weird powers (Neiz)." Piccolo said. After they protested, Piccolo amended his assessment. "I take it back, you're all stupid."
"Remember Master Cooler's orders! We don't have time for this, destroy them swiftly!" Salza ordered. Starfire fought Salza, Piccolo fought Dore, and Neiz fought Gine. Zangya used the distraction to fly off.
Neiz wasted no time zapping Gine with his paralyzing stasis field attack. Gine moaned in agony. "What are you waiting for Neiz, finish her!" Salza commanded while exchanging charged blows with Starfire.
Neiz got to within striking distance of Gine. He was charging a deathblow attack when gritting her teeth, Gine powered through the pain. Working on a hunch, she managed to grab his head Success, the energy was reflected back into Neiz! Gine pushed him away, charged a massive Ki attack, and unleashed! The combined energy fried the unusual alien dead.
"Neiz!" Dore shouted with a mixture of horror and disbelief.
"Thanks, that's all the time I needed!" Piccolo said hitting Dore at point-blank range with his Special Beam Cannon annihilating the alien. Since absorbing Nail, the amount of time needed to charge his signature attack and its accuracy had both greatly improved.
"Time to take a powder, I think," Salza said zipping off.
"Of no, you do not," Starfire said giving chase.
Salza and Starfire whizzed between the mighty trees in an undamaged section of the Great Northern Forest. Salza fired yellow Ki blasts at Starfire who retaliated by firing her green starburst blasts at him. All of the exchanged blasts either hit trees or were otherwise avoided by dodging. Finally, the pair landed in a clearing. Salza's right hand became encased in a pinkish energy blade. Salza jumped at Starfire attempting to eviscerate her with his blade. Starfire caught his strike with her green energy-encased hands and twirled him through the air slamming him through several trees.
"You pathetic twit! You and your equally pathetic friends may have defeated us but he won't let you get away with this!" Salza said breathing heavily. He charged a large Ki attack.
"Sorry I am that I am harming you, but you must be dealt with," Starfire said. She charged and then fired a large ball of starburst energy disintegrating Salza.
"I wish you hadn't done that. Good help is so hard to find these days." Cooler said from his position overhead. He zapped Starfire with his eye beams before she could react.
The Cave, a few minutes later
Goku was back to full power after consuming a Senzu bean. He, Zangya, and Gohan cautiously emerged from the cave only to be quickly confronted by Cooler. Cooler hovered overhead holding the limp forms of Starfire in one arm and the limp forms of Piccolo and Gine in the other arm.
"Let them go! I won't ask again. I'm tired of you beating up my friends and family!" Goku said glaring up at Cooler.
"I'm curious. Which are these three; friends, family, or a mixture?" Cooler taunted.
"Release them!" Goku shouted.
"If you insist." Cooler chuckled dropping them to the ground where they landed with a loud thud.
"Kids, get them inside the cave," Goku said. "I'll deal with Cooler."
"Dad, no," Gohan protested.
"He's too strong!" Zangya wailed.
"Trust me, I know what I'm doing," Goku said. He glanced at the pouch of Senzu beans Zangya had brought. The kids caught his eye movement and understood. They began to drag the fallen away.
"After I kill you, your children, and your family/friends, I'm going to blow up your planet," Cooler threatened.
"Why, what did we ever do to you?" Goku said.
"Besides killing my father and brother, I have my reasons for wanting you all gone," Cooler said cryptically.
"No," Goku said simply. Goku powered up shouting Kaio-ken X10. He delivered a flying uppercut knocking Cooler back. Goku then delivered a thrust kick to Cooler's mid-section followed by another kick and yet another then a jab to Cooler's jaw.
Cooler pushed Goku away creating some distance between them when they arrived back at the base of the waterfall. "I can see how you might have handled my little brother using this form, but I have a form of my own to share. Behold the majesty of my fifth form. Even my dear old dad never perfected this transformation." Cooler's body bulked up considerably, and a bio-armor helmet completed with a face mask formed around his head. "Tonight I dine on monkey stew in Hell!"
Goku was completely helpless. Even using Kaio-ken X20 and then X30, he could not match Cooler's speed and power. Goku managed to fire a Kamehameha but Cooler shrugged it off! Within two minutes Goku was on the ropes. Cooler manhandled him to such an extent Goku was barely conscious when his Kaio-ken faded.
"While this was fun, all good things must end," Cooler said in a much deeper more menacing voice than before. He had Goku pinned to the ground with one hand. He released Goku no longer considering him a threat. He then slowly rose high into the air looking down with contempt at his seemingly vanquished foe.
"Look at you wasted and gasping for air. To think Saiyans are considered one of the Legendary Seven Species with infinite growth potential; alongside my species, Namekians. Kryptonians, Amazons, Hera, and the seventh so-called hidden species. When I learned from the genetic scans of my probes that this world harbors five of the seven I was initially worried. But I see my concern was misplaced. I have no idea how such a weakling killed my father and brother amusing it was you and not another more powerful Saiyan hiding here, not that it matters anymore. Soon your planet will be reduced to ashes along with any unknown threats it may yet contain, worthless monkey." Cooler declared.
"No, no, no, I can't, let you, kill my loved ones, noooooooooooooooooooooo!" Goku screamed struggling to his feet. He felt a power building within him a power he had not felt since Namek!
"What the devil!" Cooler said watching a golden light erupt from the all-but-dead Saiyan. Once more Goku had achieved Super Saiyan!
"I see, at last, this must be the power you used to kill my brother and father! Don't think it'll work on me!." Cooler raged.
Goku flew up to face Cooler who tried to backhand him away like an insignificant insect. Goku caught Cooler's arm and refused to let go. Cooler punched Goku's stomach with his free hand to no avail. Goku then released Cooler and backhanded him with a blow that dented his faceplate! A move that shocked the warlord. Goku followed this up with a painful knee strike to Cooler's midsection.
"Get off my planet!" Goku said.
"All right, if you say so," Cooler snickered. He blasted Goku with an enormous Ki blast but when the dazzling light dissipated, Gou stood unaffected. "Alright, alright, have it your way!" Cooler hissed on the verge of madness. He flew higher into the air. "Technically, I cannot be on a planet if there is no planet!" He reached overhead with one arm charging a massive death ball many times his size. "Die, monkey filth!"
Cooler threw his death ball which was intercepted by Goku who in turn powered up his golden aura to its maximum extent. With some struggle, Goku sent the death ball back at Cooler then added a powerful Kamehameha! The combination proved too much for the flabbergasted Cooler who was sent swirling out of the atmosphere and straight into the Sun where he meet his demise! Cooler spent his final moments perplexed by this sudden inexplicable turn of events. He went from the most powerful warrior in the galaxy if not the universe to a barbecue in less than a standard solar day. How fickle fortune is.
Goku floated down to Earth. Unlike last time, he could hold this form. The power of Super Saiyan was his! With a bit of mental effort but less than he would have suspected, he reverted to his base form then with a bit more effort he turned Super Saiyan again then back again to base. Yes, he had fully unlocked this new power which would come in handy once the Androids appeared. He better go help the others he decided.
Unnoticed by Goku, Vegeta observed the tail end of his fight with Cooler. Vegeta had been slow to arrive because he was tending to his pregnant wife Duluma and infant adopted daughter Yara. 'So, Kakarot, curse him, has mastered the Legendary Super Saiyan transformation. It wasn't enough for Kakarot to unlock it first he had to rub my face in the bile of total humiliation by mastering it before I tasted the power. This is intolerable! I vow on my Saiyan pride I will suppress Kakarot no matter the cost!' Vegeta swore stewing in his dark thoughts.
