Chapter 11: The new dawn
-Konohagakure-
Today marks the First anniversary of the Death of the Sandaime Hokage. Each year Konohagakure hosts a ceremony in remembrance to the Sandaime Hokage, this year the Godaime Hokage, Hatake Kakashi, was to host this year's remembrance ceremony.
"Godaime-sama" said Shikaku putting his hand on Kakashi, "It's time for you to open the ceremony"
Kakashi would look up and say, "Thank you Shikaku, I just think it's a bummer that his inner circle is nowhere to be found"
A male with a long blonde ponytail would interrupt by saying, "Hokage-sama, it has been six years since Naruto, Jiraiya, Itachi, Shisui, Tsunade and Shizune as well as the Genin from Team 7 disappeared. If they wanted to be found they would've been"
"Sorry to interrupt," said an unknown Individual, "Are you Hatake Kakashi?"
Inoichi and Shikaku would draw their Kunai and enter a battle stance, but Kakashi would raise his hand signaling them to stop, "Lower your weapons, we don't fight comrades. Welcome Uchiha Sasuke''
"How did you manage to bypass the ANBU guards?" Shikaku asked, worried that he subdued these strong men.
"Hatake Kakasi, myself and the Daimyo of the Land of Whirlpools have arrived in Konohagakure to assist in the remembrance ceremony of Hiruzen Sarutobi" said Sasuke ignoring the question Shikaku just asked.
"The land of Whirlpools is extinct, there hasn't been a Daimyo since then" Inochi replied
"You are very foolish, the Land of Whirlpools is not only vibrant but they have their own Shinobi village. 'Uzushiogaure, the Village hidden in the Eddies" Sasuke answered
Tsunade would walk in with a group of Uzu ANBU ninjas, "Hello, Kakashi. I was asked by the Uzukage to come for the Ceremony of my sensei Hiruzen Sarutobi."
"Tsunade-sama, I guess this was bound to happen" Kakashi said, bowing his head for the Daimyo of the Land of Whirlpools
"So that's where all the missing-nin have been going, I have to arrest you Uchiha Sasuke and Senju Tsunade for abandoning the Village" - Inochi said, signaling the ANBU to arrest the two.
Tsunade would continue keeping a soft and warm tone, "I am sure you don't want to do that, I know you don't want to cause an international incident. Which will surely result in Uzushiogakure winning against Konoha."
"Inochi, I want you to prepare a special section for the Daimyo of the Land of Whirlpools. I don't want any of our ANBU touching this woman. Am I understood?" Shikaku ordered
-Sunagakure-
Baki has been serving as the acting Kazekage for six years now. But Gaara has finally turned eighteen years old, meaning he was finally an adult. Gaara was recently appointed to serve as the Godaime Kazekage, today was his official inauguration.
"Godaime Kazekage–sama, are you ready?" said Baki before continuing on to say, "You're officially becoming the Kazekage of Sunagakure. I am sure rasa would be proud"
"I am waiting for my friend, Uzumaki Naruto and his escort to arrive. Once he arrives, the ceremony will begin" Gaara replied
"He is a missing-nin, I doubt he is going to show up" Baki said, but just as he said that a tall man with long blonde hair would appear.
"Sorry for the wait, you weren't waiting for me too long. Were you?"
"Nope, you're just in time, Shodai Uzukage-san." Gaara said, smiling as he finally gets to see his friend
"What? Shodai..Uzukage.." Baki uttered, "You don't mean Uzushiogakure has really been rebuilt?"
"Yes, myself and Jiraiya have rebuilt the land of wind. We've been working with a bunch of abandon ninjas and even Ninja's who you thought were dead to bring the village back to its glory days" Naruto replied
"You may come out" Jiraiya ordered
A tall kunoichi bearing the symbol of Uzushiogakure on her forehead protector would come out of the Shadows, "Hello, Baki and Gaara-sama. It's a pleasure to see how Sunagakure has advanced"
"P-pakura? But you were killed in battle" Baki said, with utter confusion in his voice
"No, the Yondaime Kazekage set me up. He sent ANBU Shinobi to eliminate me on my way to Kirigakure. Then Jiraiya-sama who was visiting Zabuza-sama nearby seen the Sand Shinobi attacking me, and assisted me in my fight" Pakura explained
"I would like to apologize for the inconvenience, I am glad that you have found asylum in Uzushiogakure. We are forever indebted to you, and whoever else has been victim of my Father's ways" Gaara said solemnly
Naruto would break the silence by saying, "Thank you Gaara, myself and Ninja's are here to watch a ceremony. Let the ceremony begin"
"We have a special section marked for you guys on the rooftop, I will join you guys soon" Gaara said with a smile
"Right this way, Uzumaki-sama" Karin said, as she would begin directing the Uzukage to the rooftop.
After all the Uzushio Ninjas left the room, Baki would look at Gaara with disgust and say, "We must arrest Pakura, and properly execute her. Yondaime was-"
Gaara would look at Baki, raising his killing intent, "Sunagakure will do no such thing, I know you won't order anything seeing as you know Naruto himself will have your head on a silver platter"
Baki would melt, "Y-yes, Godaime-sama"
"Now let us go to my ceremony right away" Gaara insisted
-Kirigakure-
"Yondaime Mizukage-sama" Hinata said bowing her head, "I come on behalf of Uzushiogakure, the Village Hidden in the Eddies."
"Uzushiogakure? You mean the village that was destroyed?" Yagura chuckled in disbelief
"Yes, specifically the Village that we know Kirigakure was involved in the invasion and war crimes in Uzushiogakure. Your village murdered innocent civilians and children, and the Uzumaki have been restored by Uzumaki Naruto alongwith Uzushiogakure" Shisui said
"We have two request, you give us all the Ninja Swordsman weaponry and the declassify the status of the Shinobi once known as the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist from Rogue Ninja to Shinobi of Uzushiogakure" Hinata demanded
A Kirigakure councilor would rise, "Your request is outrageous! They are called the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist for a reason! If you know where they are, you should return them immediately!"
"It's either that, or you will feel the might of the Uzumaki and Uchiha Clan. This is a new era, Uzushiogakure is much stronger than before. Think about it, Jiraiya and Tsunade are the Daimyo couple of the Land of Whirlpools. Kirigakure would be demolished in the first week of our invasion" Shisui said, raising his killing intent
"I apologize for my village's part in the massacre of the Uzumaki Clan, with that being said I will meet both of your demands. The weapons can be taken with you, but my only request is that you do not wage war against us" the Yondaime Mizukage insisted
"Zabuza Momochi, Mangetsu Hōzuki, Ameyuri Ringo, Fuguki Suikazan, Kushimaru Kuriarare, Jinin Akebino and Jinpachi Munashi!" Shisui called out, "Retrieve your swords and return to Uzushiogakure now!"
The council room would be full of shock considering the majority of these people were thought to have been killed.
"Thank you for your business, Uzushiogakure will leave Kirigakure untouched. Myself and Hinata-sama must now depart"
-Iwagakure-
Multiple years ago, Iwagakure sent five ambassadors to the Elemental nations. Iwagakure wanted to get rid of Uzushiogakure because they felt threatened by their abilities and life force, they were able to convince all nations except Konoha.
"Lord Tsuchikage," said Kurotsuchi. "I have just received word, that Uzushiogakure has been rebuilt and the Uzumaki clan has been restored in the past 6 years"
"What!" Onoki exclaimed, "I thought we got rid of that damn clan"
"It seems we missed over 500 Uzumaki's who were hidden in the Land of Springs" Kurotsuchi explained
"They cannot find out I was responsible for the obliteration of the Uzumaki Clan, and the destruction of the Village. This would cause an international incident, and depending on who is the Uzukage they may even declare war against me" Onoki thought "Kurotsuchi, have you been undergoing training from the Special Jounin?"
"Yes, gramps" Kurotsuchi replied "Why do you ask? You aren't thinking what I think you are thinking are you?"
"Yes, Kurotsuchi" Onoki bowed his head before continuing to say, "I am going to retire from Tsuchikage. Once Uzushiogakure finds out I was the one who ordered their deaths, they may wage war against us"
Onoki would order his ANBU to enter the room. "I am retiring from the position of Sandaime Tsuchikage, effective immediately Kurotsuchi is now the Yondaime Hokage. Inform the villagers and shinobi now."
Kurotsuchi would bow her head, she was finally going to achieve her goal of being the Tsuchikage. But at what cost? Her grandfather loved his job more than anything, she didn't want to see her grandfather mop around, she tried to object but Onoki was a stubborn man. He didn't let her try and change his mind.
"I am getting old anyways Kurotsuchi, I am going to inform the Daimyo and the council of your appointment. You will have to decide whether you want to keep the Council and if you'd like to keep my advisors." said Onoki in a depressing tone
-Uzushiogakure (3 days later)-
"Lord Uzumaki" said Pakura, bowing her head "Konohagakure is requesting a meeting with you"
"Do you know what for?" Naruto replied, also signaling her to raise her head.
"The official request, says something about an Alliance renewable" Pakura answered
"Absolutely not!" Karin said her brows beginning to tense "After they failed to help us when we were being attacked by their friends"
Naruto would raise his hand signaling Karin to be silent, "Karin, although I appreciate your concern. I am Uzukage, and you are my Advisor."
Karin would bow her head, "May I be dismissed Shodai-sama?"
Naruto nodded before saying, "Pakura send an official letter to Konoha, tell them we'll accept the Hokage and his escort tomorrow"
As Pakura left his office, Naruto couldn't help but to think about all he experienced in Konoha. Although he doesn't hold any grudges against Konoha, the only reason he would comply with an alliance is if it truly benefits Uzushio.
"Naruto! You little brat" said Tsunade as she opened his office door.
"Finally someone who won't call me Lord Uzumaki or Shodai-sama, Baachan, how was your visit?" Naruto asked, wanting to hear about his Grandma's adventures.
"Well, it was a remembrance ceremony. It was really boring, I think I fell asleep. Sarutobi-sensei wouldn't want that damn Ceremony." Tsunade said
"Where is ero-sennin?"
"I am right here!" Jiraiya said, exiting the toad standing beside Tsunade. "Naruto, you need to do a little more training. Although you are the Uzukage, you yourself are nowhere near kage level"
Naruto would raise his eyebrows in confusion, "What the hell do you mean!"
"You only know maximum twenty techniques, you literally have an affinity for all Chakra natures including Yin and Yang AND yin-yang" Jiraiya replied
"Uzushiogakure is filled with secret passages, and scrolls where you can learn Jutsus" Tsunade said, as her tone turned serious
"We rebuilt the Archive building, but I never really went through the archives." Naruto said "I wonder what is in the archives, considering its only accessible by the Uzukage"
"I am going to teach you Fuinjutsu, Sage Senjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, and Ninjutsu techniques, over the next year or two. You must go through the Archive to learn the jutsus of your ancestors and clan" Jiraiya explained
"I have spent six years building a village, and I am the leader of said village. I cannot abandon my duties as Uzukage" Naruto said
"Do not worry, Tsunade is the Daimyo. Do not worry, she will act in your capacity until you are ready to take charge again" Jiraiya answered
Tsunade would frown, "Damn this is going to be a bother. But I will do anything to assure my Grandson can protect himself and this village from the threats that may come"
"Alright Naruto, we are going to go to the Archives. Tsunade will meet with Kakashi tomorrow, I will inform Itachi and Shisui and they will assist Tsunade as well" Jiraiya said trying to reassure naruto
"Ggah, you win ero-sennin. Let's go"
During the rebuilding period Naruto marked each building with his Hiraishin seals. He teleported himself and Jiraiya to the Archive, where Naruto would bite his finger and smear his blood along the seal which restricted the entrance to the building. Once the door opened, Jiraiya and Naruto seen a massive scroll titled "Uzushiogakure: Scroll of Seals & Truths" Naruto would once again smear his bloody hand on the seal, opening the scroll

Greetings, my name is Ashina Uzumaki. The Founder and Shodai Uzukage of the Village hidden in the eddies. If you are reading this scroll, your blood was compatible with my own and you are one of my descendants. This Scroll has every Jutsu and every secret known to the Uzumaki Clan.

Entry Number 1 - Curse Mark: Caged Bird
This Jutsu was created by Ashina Uzumaki, after the Hyuga clan of Konoha approached us asking how they could keep their Byakugan from getting stolen. Although we didn't know they wanted to use the Seal to control the branch members of their clan. Uzushiogakure soon created another jutsu to release the Jutsu:
By doing the hand seals, Ne, Tori, I, Inu, Tora and placing your hand on the curse mark you could release the seal.
In order to activate or apply the seal you just have to place your hand on the forehead of the victim and do the hand seals, Tori, I, Tora, Saru
Entry Number 2 - Reaper Death Seal
This Jutsu was created as a last resort, the Jutsu is only taught to the Sealing Corps and they know not to use it unless it's a life or death situation.
By doing the hand seals, Snake, Boar, Ram, Rabbit, Dog, Rat, Bird, Horse, Snake and Clapping your Hands. The summoner can, with difficulty, continue moving and speaking, allowing them to finish any lingering business they may have, but they will die as soon as their soul has been fully souls of the summoner and their victim do not pass on to the Pure Land, instead being trapped within the Shinigami's stomach, destined to fight each other for all eternity.
Souls can only be freed from the Shinigami's stomach by using Dead Demon Consuming Seal: Release. To use, an individual wears the Shinigami Mask, causing them to become possessed by the Shinigami. If the individual wearing the mask slices open their own stomach, the Shinigami will do the same, and any souls inside it will be freed. However, the mask doesn't have any properties that will prevent its user from dying of that injury.
Entry Number 3 - Flying Thunder God Technique
This Jutsu was created by Ashina Uzumaki in collaboration with Tobirama Senju.
Before the Flying Thunder God Technique can be performed, users must first mark a target with their "technique formula" The formula is applied after the merest touch and cannot be removed; it will remain in place even after the user has died. There is no limit to how many marks you can place.
All you have to do is sign the summoning contact, by smearing your blood with your desired Formula. No hand sign is required for this technique
Entry Number 4 - Uzumaki Sealing Technique (Only descendants of Ashina can do)
After forming the necessary hand seals, the user slams their hand on the ground after which a sealing formula that originates from the user's hand, forming underneath the target. When the seal activates, anything above the inscription is sealed within the formula itself.
The Hand seals are simple; Rat, Ox, Dog, Dog, Clap hands, Boar, Slam hand on the ground
This is an ultimate storage seal, this can seal Tailed Beast and anything you want in a realm only accessible to you.
Entry Number 6 - Mokuton
Hashirama Senju, in return for the hand in marriage of my daughter Mito Uzumaki, taught me how to create Mokuton.
The User must know how to mix chakra, once you know how to mix chakra you can go to Shikkotsu Forest where the great sage Katsu will grant you Mokuton and Wood Sennin Mode.
You will be summoned to Shikkotsu forest once you smear your blood over this text. Please do not share this information, as Mini-Hashirama's would not benefit Uzushiogakure at all.
Entry Number 7 - Toad Sennin Mode
In order to enter Sage Mode, the gatherer must remain absolutely still in order to be one with nature and balance the natural energy with their own physical and spiritual energies. If the user puts too little natural energy into using senjutsu, the technique will not work. Conversely, if too much natural energy is taken in, their body will turn to stone forever; humans will also be transformed into whichever animal's school the senjutsu was learned from.
The toads of Mount Myōboku have devised several tools to make learning Sage Mode easier. By applying a special oil, the applicant's body will start passively taking in natural energy. This oil will evaporate if taken outside Mount Myōboku, thus rendering it useful only for learning purposes. The toads also have a special staff that, when struck with, knocks all the natural energy out of the gatherer, thus reversing any transformations before they can become permanent and the user turns to stone.
Sage Mode is an empowered state that can be entered by blending natural energy with one's chakra, creating senjutsu chakra. Sage Mode allows users to tap into the natural force of the world, opening up new techniques to them and allowing them to power up existing ones with the new senjutsu chakra.
Uzushiogakure has the contract seal in my personal archives.
"Ero-sennin! Isn't that funny the Uzumaki knew about Toad Sage Mode longer than you" Naruto would look at his now pale sensei
They would both laugh at everything they just found.
"Naruto, do you want to be like Hashirama or do you want to be like me?" Jiraiya asked
Naruto would turn red feeling embarrassed, "Uh eh, ero-sennin I know you've trained me all my life but considering"
Jiraiya would stop him before continuing his sentence. "Do not worry Naruto, I am not offended. Considering you are the Shodaime Uzukage and Hashirama was the Shodaime Hokage this would only benefit your image.
"But who will train me in Mokuton? And sennin mode?" Naruto asked
"Do not worry, Shodaime Uzukage. I am sure the slugs of Shikkotsu will assist you in your journey, in fact I will accompany you but if you need anything Tsuna can help" Jiraiya answered
Naruto would smear his bloody finger over the text, and after the great cloud of dust settled. Naruto would be shocked to see a giant slug staring down at him. "Ashina? After all these year-"
"No, Katsu-sama. This seems to be his Great-Great Grandson, Uzumaki Naruto" Katsuya replied
The Great Slug Sage, Katsu, was rather pleased that Naruto was teleported to him. "Well, Naruto, you must've read the scroll Ashina-kun was writing before his clan was destroyed."
A black figure would begin to walk out of the shadows, and Naruto's jaw would drop.
Hey friends, I know you may be surprised that Naruto can learn Wood Release after 18 years of living, but I think that I might want to change the name of this fanfic. From Naruto: Prodigy of the Whirlpools, to Destiny. I am thinking of completely changing this to a complete Alternate Universe because we skipped so much time I am going to have a lot of missions that Naruto goes on. I hope you guys sincerely enjoy reading this, as much as I am enjoying writing this.
