In Thunderbird Two's cockpit, Virgil glanced to his right, a small, slow smile forming. He nodded his head unconsciously. Gordon, finally declared healed from his ordeal among the volcanic vents, sat in the co-pilot's chair, the first time since the incident.

Where he belongs, mused Virgil.

The aquanaut noticed Virgil's regard. He turned, a frown creasing his brows.

"What?"

Virgil's smile widened. "Just thinking about how far you've come."

Gordon chuckled. "You mean, how far we've come. Couldn't have done it without you, bro." He settled back, looking out over the windscreen. "How about we launch this 'Bird?"

"F-A-B."
