The next day at the meeting room.
"Another creature already, it's only been a day since the last one" Says Lingyin.
"Yeah it has but look at it this way the quicker they show up the quicker we can send them back home" Responds Houki.
"Yeah that's true," Says Lingyin.
"So what's it this time?" Straightforwardly says Laura.
"This will answer your question" Says Matthew the shifter.
They then play a video on taking place on a beach the camera pointed at a massive shell that looks like a spiral with a sharp tip at the very top (look up turban snail for context) that isn't moving but has a gigantic hole at the front the hole is facing the carcass being devoured by sea birds and other animals while in the water next to them is a group of small dog sized dark blue colored scales with webbed feet and a long fin from the back of their heads to their tails their tails have a fish like tip they and a mouth full of sharp teeth perfect for keeping prey still when caught this group are chirping at all the seabirds when one seabird walks up to the giant shell pecks at it and is then crushed by a giant hand that has deep blue skin that seems very blobby and squishy in contrast to its shell when the bird gets crushed all of the creatures in the sea run over happily chirping and cooing at the shell while the shell lets out deep rumbles making it sound like their communicating the other seabirds turn to the shell and call at it before a massive blast of water comes from the shell and abliterates all the seabirds the smaller creatures run and begin to eat the carcass as they start to eat the shell extends one arm and pulls itself closer to the carcass before retracting this arm and extending another arm and pulling itself closer again doing this until its gets right next to the kill and has the smaller creatures bring parts of the kill into the shell before leaving after all of this the video ends.
"After the last two we fought I was expecting worse" Says Ichika.
"Yeah, same here" Says Charlotte.
"So what does it do? And what's with the small creatures around it?" Asks Houki.
"That was a creature mainly known as The Ancient Shell or The Shelled Legend as they live at the very bottom of the ocean and are rarely found and just like with the ripping wyvern from before they are an ancient species thought to have gone extinct many years ago but an alive one was found by fishermen and as an Paleontologist myself seeing one and studying one is a dream come true as I have never seen one in person due to their rarity and their companions are known as Deep Sea Drake's most deep sea drakes are massive but not these ones as they have a symbiotic relationship with them the ancient shell keeps them safe inside its shell and they help find it food which its not too picky about if it can fit it will probably try to eat it including humans and fey at a certain size and most drakes are pests on eden and earth as they may eat mice and rats at first but they eat them so quickly they can run out so they switch to things like pet cats, dogs, and sometimes human and fey children if need be but not these drakes as they live at the bottom of the ocean they don't become a problem much and both the drakes and the shelled legend can fire beams of water from their mouths" Explains Matthew the genius.
"Wait a minute, you're a paleontologist?" Asks Chifuyu.
"Indeed I am" Responds Matthew the genius.
"You don't look like one," Says Chifuyu.
"I get that a lot" Responds Matthew the genius.
"So we know any elemental weaknesses?" Asks Lingyin.
"No as they are so rare not much is known other than what i've already told you" Responds Matthew the genius.
"Great!" Sarcastically says Lingyin.
"Hey we could try electricity" Suggests Matthew the shifter.
"And I think we know a guy who can generate it," Says Bapho.
Just then a humanoid creature with a digitigrade leg structure that has fur on its ankles and arms and a large monkey-like tail as well as being covered in scars walks in.
"Haven't seen him in awhile" Says Laura.
"Help can help?" Says Kaminari.
"Yeah you can help, we could really use it Kaminari was it?" Says Ichika.
"Yes that is my name" Responds Kaminari.
"We all friend now?" Asks Kaminari.
"Yeah we are," Says Maya.
"But this is also still an option" Says Bapho as he pulls out a syringe full of a yellow liquid.
"So anyone want lightning powers?" Asks Bapho.
"I do!" Says Lingyin without a second thought.
"Here you go boss!" Says Bapho handing him the syringe.
"Thank you Bapho" Responds Matthew the genius.
Lingyin then sits down on a chain just like the other two did.
"Have you ever been struck by lightning?" Asks Matthew the genius.
"No can't say I have" Responds Lingyin.
"Well you're about to feel like you have right…now" Says Matthew the genius.
"AAAAAAAAHHHH IT HURTS SO MUCH ALL OVER'' Screams Lingyin now feeling what it's like to be struck directly by lightning.
"Whimper" Cries Kaminari, scared for his new friend's safety.
"They'll be fine Kaminari, those two over there went through something similar to gain their elemental powers so this one should be fine too" Says Matthew the genius while pointing to Houki and Cecilia.
"Yeah she'll be fine" Says Matthew the shifter.
And then a few minutes later Lingyin stops feeling all of the pain.
"I feel so energized!" Says Lingyin.
"Good cause you'll need it now follow me outside please I have one more thing to show you" Says Matthew the genius.
Then they all walk outside and see… absolutely nothing.
"Is this a joke?" Asks Charlotte.
"No now behold" Responds Matthew the genius.
"Units 00, 01, 01.5, 02, and 02.5 show yourselves!" Shouts Matthew the genius.
Right after he says this from a portal in the sky two fully mechanical eastern dragon like creatures with wings on their backs, they have slit pupils like that of a reptile, their main bodies being colored red and blue one mainly red and the other mainly blue with massive three clawed hands two claws on the side one on top that have holes in the center they have no back legs at all and two horns pointing backwards that look like deer antlers the red one has a more of a mace at the tip of its tail while the other has more of a chainsaw at the tip of its tail.
Another one burrows in from underground also fully mechanical but unlike the other two it has no wings and is colored green and dirt brown on its back but it has the same type of claw on its left hand while on the right it has six tendrils that each of a arrow like shape to them at the end it has large powerful legs with three clawed toes at the end it has two simple drill shaped horns pointing backwards and seemingly no eyes at all just darkness like its deactivated it also has a long thick tail that ends in a large hammer.
Another one simply walks in and looks identical to a human woman with some mechanical parts like the ones in her joints, she wears a blue police uniform with a badge on it.
The final one looks like an aquatic dragon with robotic wings attached on its back and gauntlets on its arms that are right between the elbow and wrist it has the same thing on its legs in between its ankles and kneecaps it its tail also has one of these clamps on it wears a metal visor covering its eyes its whole body is a deep blue color all over it also has fins on the side of its face and on the top of its head its tail has a tail fin just like a fish on it has a chest plate that splits in the middle and looks like if it needed too could open up.
"What is that?" Asks Cecilia.
"I was thinking the same thing," Says Houki.
"Are they on our side?" Asks Maya.
"These are my creations please introduce yourselves" Says Matthew the genius.
The eastern dragons go first.
"I'm Unit 01 but you can just call me Mega" Says the red robotic dragon.
"And I'm Unit 01.5 but you can just call me Giga" Says the blue robotic dragon.
The drill based one goes next.
"I am Unit 02 but I am also known as Golem" Says the drill dragon who burrowed in from below.
Then the police woman goes next.
"I am Unit 02.5 but you may call me Ashley" Says The police woman.
Finally the cybernetic dragon finishes off.
"I am Unit 00 unlike the others I have no secondary designation as of now" Says the cyber dragon.
"Guess I got my wish when I asked about your creations" Says Chifuyu.
"We should introduce ourselves then," Says Ichika.
"No need man we already have all the data we need on you" Says Giga.
"Has Matthew told you about us already?" Asks Maya.
"Yeah he sure has," Responds Mega.
"Well if that's the case then you know the problem we've been having to deal with" Says Charlotte.
"Indeed we do, we also know you have dealt with and sent back home counting Kaminari four of ten creatures have been sent back home" Says Golem.
"We have also heard of your worlds strongest technology the Infinite Stratos" Says Ashley.
"So why did Matthew build all of you in the first place?" Asks Laura.
"Giga and I were made to assist those who needed help from the skies" Says Mega.
"My purpose is to gather materials for my creator's other creations," Says Golem.
"I was made to keep a city my father accidentally created in check and make sure laws are being followed" Says Ashely.
"How do you accidentally create a city?" Asks Lingyin.
"In short I made a homeless shelter that tried to help those without a home get back on their feet. Some decided to just build homes around it instead of going somewhere else and it got bigger and bigger and then became a city" Says Matthew the genius.
"And let me guess you're the president?" Asks Chifuyu.
"No I am not but I am well known regardless inside the city. I'll take you there once all the creatures have been sent home" Says Matthew the genius.
"And I was created to protect that same city from threats that cannot be dealt with by normal means" Says Unit 00.
"Now let's get a move on, where was the thing found?" Asks Shara excited to fight as always.
"It was found at Kujukuri beach" Responds Maya.
At Kujukuri beach one of Japan's largest beaches.
"Well we found it," Says Chifuyu.
Before them a massive shell sits not moving.
"We still don't have our weapons. Do you want us to fight this thing bare handed?" Says Ichika.
"Any moment now" Says Matthew the shifter.
Then multiple metal boxes drop from above each has a name tag on it.
"Speak of the devil," Says Houki.
"Go on open 'em!" Says Shara.
They all walk over to their respective box.
"Let's see what you did to repair our gear," Says Chifuyu, pressing a button on the box to open it.
It opens to reveal her katana instead of being made of metals like it was before it now is mainly made of purple scales these purple scales wrap around the blade and look like a tail reaching the large curved tip the blade itself is now an orange color to it when she picks it up and readies herself to use it the entire blade just… disappears with the long purple scales now coiled at the very bottom right above the hilt.
"The hell did the blade go?" Says a confused Chifuyu.
"It's invisible" Says Matthew the shifter.
"Why does it need to go invisible?" Asks Chifuyu.
"Because why not and the monster it comes from can also go invisible" Responds Matthew the shifter.
"You know exactly what creature this is from dont you?" States Chifuyu.
"Yep I'll transform into it some other time" Says Matthew the shifter.
Ichika then opens his box.
"Did you do that to all of our weapons?" Asks Ichika.
"We sure did" Responds Bapho.
He then opens it to see his new sword and shields his sword now a little shorter than before and made of golden glowing scales the hilt has a small curved crossguard. The shield has a large circular thing in the middle made of scales on the outside with small spikes and a bright blue flower petal pattern around the edges and more of a green circle in the center with a bright purple dot surrounded by an even brighter purple circle it also has two curved golden scale made with black tips that are connected to the large circle part of the shield by two four tiny pillars two for each curve.
"Are you sure this shield will work?" Asks Ichika.
"It works where it's from so it should work here" Responds Bapho.
"If you say so," Says Ichika.
Houki then opens her box.
"I wonder what I got?" Says Houki.
She then opens it to see her twin swords each sword is covered in fiery red fur the blade itself seems to made of a jawbone one blade made of the lower jaw while the other one is the upper jaw the teeth being used as the sharp part of the weapon both of which are still covered in fur and the creatures skin the eyes of the creature are even still in the skull on one of the blades the eyes look so full of rage and the hilt being made up of what feels like bones it's also covered by skin and fur with clawed front limbs at the back and two buttons for each sword, one at the top of the handle one button on top the other on bottom and all over the weapons are lines every single line looks capable of opening up when she picks it up the entire weapon lights ablaze but due to her fire abilities she can't feel it.
"This is one strange weapon, what's this thing even made of?" Asks Houki.
"It is made from a monster known as The Goddess Of The Raging Flames" Responds Unit 00.
"That sounds promising" Says Houki
Laura then opens her box.
"This better be good" Says Laura.
Then she opens the box to see her two daggers Now seemingly made less of metals and more like the claws of a monster the blade is mostly a yellowish color but instead of going in a straight line to the hilt they instead they bend to the side and turn a dark red color and where it normally connects a strange small red crystal sits and on the front of the handle it also boasts a sharp guard.
"This will do" Says Laura.
"Hm?" Kaminari looks over at her weapons with curiosity.
Lingyin then opens her box.
"Let's see what's inside…" Says Lingyin.
When she opens the box to see her chinese scimitar now almost entirely made out of golden yellow scales on the hilt a reddish orange flame like pattern on it and in the middle of said pattern sits a large circular light purplish/light bluish thing and on the sides of the weapon ore multiple black spikes only three small ones right beside the flame like pattern with four much larger ones next to the blade itself speaking of the blade it is a dull color and It also has a sharp handle guard but it doesn't connect fully to the lower half of the handle the very bottom of its handle is very bulbous and when Lingyin goes to pick it up it gets pulled straight to her hands like its magnetizing to her once in her hands she feels a jolt of what seemed like limitless electrical power.
"I could get used to this!" Says Lingyin feeling all that electricity course through her entire body.
"Hah! I knew you'd love it!" Says Shara.
Charlotte then opens her box.
"Here goes nothing," Says Charlotte.
Once she opens her box she sees her staff now not made of any elemental crystal but instead deep blue scales at the bottom of it there's a very long fish-like tail that tail seems to move on its own the sphere part of the staff has two small fins one on each side and a larger fin on the back these fins close and open when the weapon is and is not being used it also has four claws two sets of claws on the top and two sets on the bottom near the tail they look like there holding onto the weapon the sphere also has what seem to be long, sharp, and thin teeth surrounding it it also glows like the angler on and angler fish.
"Let's hope this thing works just as good as it used to" Says Charlotte.
"Fret not for it is made from a creature known as The God Of The Ocean so it will be much more powerful than it was before" Responds Matthew the genius.
"That makes me feel a lot better" Says Charlotte.
Then Cecilia opens her box.
"Let's see if this was worth the wait" Says Cecilia.
After she opens her box she she's her sniper rifle now made out of icy blue scales the whole weapon is cold to the touch but due to her new found icey abilities she doesn't notice this when she picks it up it gains an ice armor even coating her scope in ice as well as give the weapon a ice horn at the front of the barrel.
"Heh perfect it even has ice abilities" Says Cecilia.
"Nice for you," Says Mega.
"Or should we say Ice?" Says Giga.
"Ice one bro!" Responds Mega.
"Ice back to you bro!" Says Giga.
"Please stop," Begs Cecilia.
Finally Maya opens her box.
"I hope it functions well" Says Maya.
As she opens the box she finds her grenade launcher now covered in plant and other things like fungi (fun fact fungi aren't plants or animals there their own thing look it up) growths some of which have flowers blooming all in different colors like reds, whites, blues, greens etc it also has thorn surrounding the barrel these thorns are red in color and there is also something similar to the maws of a venus fly trap that it currently closed, when she looks at the grenades themselves she sees that there all made from hard plant seeds covered in thorns but despite these thorns they still fit in the weapon without any issue there are also grenades of varying colors like reds, blues, greens and more when she picks it up to get ready for the fight ahead the venus fly trap mouth opens fully.
"What are all the colored ammo for?" Asks Maya.
"Gray is normal explosive ammo, red is fire element, blue is water element, yellow is lighting element based, green is plant element based, white is light element based, and black is dark element based you are able to switch freely between any and all ammo types if you so please use them all wisely" Responds Golem.
"Thank you for telling me this," Says Maya.
"No worries it is our current mission to assist you IS students and teachers in any way we can" Responds Golem.
Now that everyone has their new and improved weapons they run up to the shelled legend to begin the fight.
"Let's test these new weapons out!" Cries Chifuyu running in with her new katana and slicing at its shell at blazing speeds as she attacks its shell she sees a purple liquid seep out coming from her weapon.
"I'm joining in too!" Yells Ichika using his sword to slice in all directions at the shell while right next to his sister and when he hits his weapon produces a dark cloud full of crimson lightning
"Yeah!" Hollers Houki her new twin swords now ablaze as she leaps into the air to hit the higher points on the shell and with every attack flames spew from her weapon to try and burn her opponents.
"Hey don't hog all the fun for yourselves!" Shouts Lingyin using her new scimitar to strike the shell from the back her weapon releasing bolts of lightning on contact and she's making use of her weapons and her own lightning abilities to power herself up speeding up her attacks and adding more power behind each blow.
"Let me have a turn!" Roars Laura running to its side and using her new dual daggers that now release a black cloud full of reg lightning whenever it hits just like Ichika's weapon.
"Time to find out what you can do!" Shouts Cecilia as she readies her new sniper rifle to fire right into the opening of the shell when she fires her rifle shoots bullets made of pure solid ice.
"Take this!" Calls Charlotte raising her staff in the air while having it point at her target unexpectedly for her geysers burst forth from the earth going in a straight line towards their target.
"Out of the way please I'm going to fire!" Warns Maya readying her grenade launcher before first firing normal gray explosive ammo then it fires the next ammo which is red making an even larger more fiery explosion when it hits the shell.
But no matter how much or how hard they hit it it never flinches or fights back just staying inside its shell.
"Where not leaving a mark!" Says an annoyed Chifuyu.
"And it's not fighting back either, this is worrying" Says Maya.
"Ladies and gentlemen let us do this. We have a lot more firepower than you do right now" Responds Mega and Giga.
"Well then go on ahead!" Says Ichika.
"We need you to go back over to our boss and the rest before he'll give us permission to fire all weapons" Says Mega.
"You can't fire without permission?" Asks Charlotte.
"In most scenarios yes we do but if we have too we can fire all weapons without his permission" Responds Giga.
Once they all go back over to him.
"Why didn't you do this from the start?" Asks Cecilia.
"Well we were going to say something but your 'level headed teacher' here ran in before we could then you all ran after her" Explains Matthew the genius.
"I wanted to test out our new kicks!" Responds Chifuyu.
"And where did that get you?" Asks Matthew the genius.
"Permission to fire all weapons?" Asks Golem.
"Permission granted to all Units fire all weapons Unit 02 fire erasure cannon at low power!" Orders Matthew the genius.
"This is where the fun begins!" Says Giga.
"Ah hell yeah lets get in position brother!" Responds Mega.
Then both Mega and Giga fly super high into the air to the point they can't be seen from the ground and soon after countless missiles begin coming down. Golem has the drill points on his one arm retract into themselves and openings from his shoulders reveal missile ports he points it at the shell with his mouth open aiming at the shell too firing all missiles and his bullets from his tendril drill arm while charging a ball of energy in his mouth. Ashly points both hands forward and releases seemingly endless bullets from her fingertips and small far launching grenades from the palm of her hands. Finally Unit 00 uses its mechanical wings to fly, getting behind the entire group the gauntlets on its arms and legs open up and launch homing missiles from them.
"Firing low power erasure cannon" Says Golem.
"Look out below!" Says both Mega and Giga.
"Launching all ranged weaponry" Says Ashley.
"Target acquired launching all missiles" Says Unit 00.
All attacks hit their target and when the smoke clears the creature is gone…
"Where'd it go?" Asks Ichika.
"Probably the ocean they don't like to come on land after all" Responds Matthew the shifter.
Then the creature reappears from the ocean with perfect timing.
"Should we ask how in the hell it got into the ocean before it got hit?" Says Houki.
"No… Just roll with it kid" Responds Bapho.
"Engaging enemy in close-quarters combat" Says Ashley pulling out a sword from her arm that was inside it and running right at it she using her sword and her speed to slice and cut and kick at it until it grabs her with one hand and it crawls back onto shore with her.
"Switching to rover mode" Says Golem, his legs now changing into the wheels like that of a tank and his drill arm going back to normal with the drill tips unretracting and wrapping around each other to form a larger drill he tries to hit it with his drill but it stops him by grabbing his wrist past the drill but he pushes back harder and it finally reveals its head it's face is sharp looking and its teeth perfect for eating carcasses that fall down to the very bottom of the sea floor it extends its neck to look Golem in the face and it opens its mouth but instead of biting it fires a cannon of water in his face but Golem doesn't flinch at all and counter attacks using his hammer tail hitting it on the head making it let go of Ashley who is quickly picked up by Golem.
"Are you alright Ashly?" Asks a worried Golem.
"I am now thank you Golem" Responds Ashley.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Roars the creature now angered, bashing its arms against the sand sending sand everywhere.
"CHIRP CHIRP CHIRP" Calls the deep sea drakes inside the shell they then come out of the shell avoiding Golem and Ashley and going towards the students and teachers and the rest of the group.
"Now we can test these weapons!" States an excited Chifuyu.
"Remember we don't want any of them dead, that'll only make things worse" Says Matthew the shifter.
"We know we know" Responds Shara.
"GRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Cries Kaminari swinging his tail like a mace to gain electricity.
"Let's go, everyone!" Says Ichika using his new shield to block an incoming bite and shaking it off of his shield when it uses its teeth and claws to hang on when another one comes from the side he slides under it and slices at a sidewards angle to send it flying he then bashes another one with his shield knocking it into his sister who then sends it away with a single extremely precise strike of her new katana without even looking at it.
"Nice one sis!" Shouts Ichika not realizing that one is behind him.
"Look out!" Says Chifuyu running in and kicking it away.
"Thanks sis I owe you one" Says Ichika.
"You always owe me one, you're almost an adult now and I still have to save your butt all the time" Responds Chifuyu.
"As cute as that is, is now really the best time to have this conversation?" Says Shara bashing one away with her new flail.
"Maybe… wait didn't you get a new weapon too, Shara?" Asks Chifuyu.
"Yeah, I fixed it up myself now it has some of my own shed scales all over it now it shouldn't melt or break anytime soon" Responds Shara.
"Oh yeah I always forget you're just a dragon taking human form" Says Ichika.
"I can use my true form if that's the case" Responds Shara.
"I'm good, last time you showed even a little of that form I felt the urge to beg for my life and surrender" Says Ichika.
"HAHA good to know that even in another dimension my effects on you humans and other creatures is still the exact same" Responds Shara.
"Yeah I agree with Ichika please don't use that form" Says Lingyin remembering her fight with Shara back then while using her new scimitar to shock any and all drakes she hits leaving them stunned as she also uses this electricity from her new powers to speed herself up.
"Same here!" Says Charlotte while using her new staff to wash away deep sea drakes with geysers and massive waves of water.
"Rgh no matter how hard we hit them they just get back up it's the Scorpio Raptors all over again!" States Laura dodging the attacks of the drakes with ease while slicing at them or kicking them away.
"Don't worry Laura they'll give up and run away back to their shelled friend soon" Responds Houki using her flaming twin swords to do a spinning slice at all the drakes around her before jumping in the air and slamming her weapon down making a large area of fire that keeps the drakes away until it does out.
"Everyone look away for a moment, this will be very bright. And look at it this way at least there aren't as many as with them" Responds Maya using her trying out her light elemental grenade she fires it and a bright flash of light blinds most of the drakes giving an opening.
"Man that was bright and yeah Laura Maya's right" Says Cecilia, shooting one out of the sky while creating an icy skateway underneath herself to be able to move faster while firing.
"GRAAAH" Roars Kaminari grabbing one blinded drake and swinging it around as if it were a weapon while charged with electricity before throwing it and firing a bolt of lightning from his finger at that same one stunning it.
"Kaminari, you HAVE to teach me that move sometime!" Says Lingyin.
"Ok…" Responds Kaminari.
"OW damn that light hurts, I'm weak to light element you know if I was weak enough before that you might have just killed me there" Says Bapho grabbing one with his claws and slamming it into the floor over and over before throwing it into a group of drakes.
"I—I'm s—sorry I didn't mean to" Responds Maya.
"It's fine, it's fine," Says Bapho.
"Hey we noticed that someone is missing?" Asks Matthew the shifter in his normal form using the large wing like arms that form his cloak to grab two enemies one in each claw and slam them into other drakes without letting them go while using his insectoid pincer tail to grab one and slam it into any other drakes behind him without letting it go either while shocking it and any thing hit by it with electricity he then throws all of them into a pile.
"Yeah the other Matthew is gone" Responds Chifuyu.
"He's probably just checking on Ashley" Says Houki.
Then as every single drake surrounds and either shoots beams of water, jumps in the air and tries to bite them or a mix of both or something else as a whole.
Ichika charges, shield first sword in his hand at the side ready to strike at the drake in front of him.
Houki has her arms in a cross lunging at three drakes in front of her with her twin flame swords.
Charlotte is creating a wall of geysers underneath a group of drakes in the air.
Laura is leaping in the air to strike with one of her daggers pointed forward at a drake that is also mid air about to bite her.
Cecilia while skating on the ice she's making has shot multiple ice bullets in a complete circle at some drakes.
Lingyin and Kaminari are doing a combined attack both are using Lingyin's scimitar passing it to each other first with Lingyin would have sent drakes into the air before throwing it to Kaminari who would then slam it down on the drakes who would have been flung in the air.
Chifuyu and Maya are also doing a combined attack. Maya would have shot the drakes with her green elemental ammunition trapping them in plant growth like vines as well as create a platform for Chifuyu to jump on and then bring her katana down on them while they were trapped.
Shara is swinging her flail hitting all the drakes around her before grabbing one in her hand and flying into the air then slamming it into the floor then bringing her flail down on anything below.
Matthew the shifter is using his wing like arms to fly while also about to grab two drakes, his tail reaching forward to hit two more in the air with him.
But before any of this can even happen time… just stops and everyone freezes in place and an que in walks Matthew the genius he takes of his lab coat and presses on small a button on his chest and he gets covered in a suit colored crimson that has scratch marks all over with a gold colored cape on it on the back of the cape is a symbol of a king cobra raised up with it's hood fanned out ready to bite the suit covers everything except his head (excluding his lower jaw) he says.
"I don't use this as much as I should so lets start fixing that" He says opening a portal shoving his arm through it and pulling out a massive mechanical scythe and through that same portal a large robotic hovering snake with feathery looking mechanical wings comes as well he looks to this robotic snake and says.
"Good to see all your systems are functional Quetzalcoatl" He says gently and lovingly petting the robotic serpent he presses a small button on the side of his lower jaw that is covered in his suit the helmet looks like the face of a king cobra the sides even have the fully extended hood of one as well on the part that covers his face there are things that look like the fangs of a cobra they are see through as too not block his vision though the color of the visor is a blackish color to help prevent sun from getting in his eyes.
"Now let's get started shall we?" Says Matthew the genius while hopping on top of Quetzalcoatal who is large enough to carry him and still fly with ease.
He flies over to Ichika and using his scythe smashes the drake away which crashes into the three drakes Houki was about to attack, he points to those same three drakes and tells Quetzalcoatl to fire it opens its mouth and out pops a small machine gun it begins to fire at them but they stop moving sitting in the air once they leave the machine gun and once it's done firing at them.
He turns his attention to the drakes Cecilia has fired at trapping them in a circle of ice bullets he grabs a bullet and angles it up the one Laura was about to strike at then he transforms his scythe into a hammer and flings all the drakes into the air he then transforms his hammer into a sniper rifle and fires it on the drakes but of course once they leave the rifle they stop flying and sit midair.
Then flying over to Kaminari and Lingyin turning his sniper rifle back into a scythe he sends all of those drakes flying and slices them in all directions before slamming them away with his weapon in hammer form then he has Quetzalcoatl fire at the drakes Maya and Chifuyu are fighting before he turns his sniper rifle back into its scythe form and once targeting them he slices the air creating some kind of rift right in front of the drakes but it doesn't do anything but just like with his rifle forms bullets the don't do anything since time is paused for everything except himself and Quetxalcoatl to the drakes that Charlotte was fighting.
Then he flies on over to Shara jumps off of Quetzalcoatl tells it to fire at the drakes while he turns his hammer back into a scythe and spins around catching any and all drakes with his scythe and flinging them into the air letting Quetxalcoatl fly into the air next to them and grab them with its tail and throw them into each other. And finally he walks over to Matthew the shifter gets on Quetzalcoatl and turns his weapon back to hammer mode and smashes the drake his alternate self was fighting before stomping on it sending it into the floor then him and Quetxalcoatl gets away from everyone else and Matthew the genius pulls back out his pocket watch presses both buttons on it and unfreezes time and let's everything continue.
"The hell?" Says a confused Chifuyu.
"Your welcome" Says Matthew the genius.
"Okay first of all the hell are you wearing? Second we had that in the bag" Responds Chifuyu.
"This is something I made many years ago. I just called it 'The Crimson King Cobra'. I don't use it all that much and I thought now would be a perfect opportunity to use—" Says Matthew the genius.
"Ok so you wanted to show off?" Responds Chifuyu.
"You could call it that…" Says Matthew the genius.
"Well what can it do?" Asks a curious Charlotte.
"The armor itself can via the gloves control gravity mainly by pulling things closer to me via a gravitational pull or weigh things down or make them lighter. It can also create black holes but don't worry I am able to close said black holes if I wish. The weapon has three modes scythe, hammer, and sniper rifle each with a special ability the scythe can strike at an opponent from any distance by in simply terms time/space warping the slice to my foes location which is what those rifts were the sniper rifle can absorb any ranged attack all I need to do is first activate it then point the gun at whoever it firing at me and it will absorb the attack via a black hole and the hammer is very simple it pretty much warps space to crush the opponent I call this one 'Reality Breaker' all it really does is hit them really really really hard and also break apart the fabric of space as a side effect" Explains Matthew the genius.
"And what about that floating snake?" Asks Houki.
"This is Quetzalcoatl built at the same time as the suit itself and is used to fly me around and has a gatling gun in its mouth to attack foes with" Responds Matthew the genius.
"I see…" Says Houki.
Everyone then turns to all of the units fighting the shelled legend as well as the deep sea drakes going back inside the shell remembering their main goal of sending this animal back home… They then run to join in on the battle.
"Hey big guy! Don't forget about the rest of us!" Cries Chifuyu running in from the side and using her katana to cut at the shell repeatedly at insane speeds.
"Yeah!" Says Ichika right next to his sister, bashing with his shield three times jumping into the air and slicing downwards with his sword.
The shelled legend smacks the units away and turns to them and roars then begins to slam its fists down on them but they doge it.
"Hey over here come and get me!" Screams Houki running around the shelled legend with ease and cutting it over and over before climbing its shell and kicking it in the head and slicing at its arm with the intent to flinch it not make it bleed.
"RAA RAA" Cries the legend in pain and it begins to try to crush Houki as well.
"Everyone, make sure to hit the body, not the shell!" Hollars Chifuyu.
"Understood!" Responds all the students.
"Come on Kaminari!" Says Lingyin.
"Mhm!" Nods Kaminari.
The two run in and using their lighting based powers get right in the legends face and when it tries to crush them with its claws and bite at them they doge and counter attack throwing Lingyin's new scimitar to each other first Lingyin jumping up dodging the right arm and leaping off it and after dodging the left arm running on it and in the shape of an X cutting the creatures face before kicking herself away while throwing the sword to Kaminari.
"Your turn Kaminari!" Yells Lingyin.
"Mhm!" Nods Kaminari again.
Kaminari then unlike Lingyin instead of dodging uses his brute strength to bash away it's arms or head if it tries to attack them leaping up and with multiple lighting fast strikes in the shapes of lighting bolts and then finishing off with super speed kicks to the head as well before landing and letting out a roar.
The shelled legend lets out a roar too; this roar makes the drakes chirp in response and then they start firing beams or globs of water from inside the shell or poking their head out to fire everyone close to it leaping, rolling, and diving out the way and counter attacking whenever possible.
"We can attack from afar too, you know?" Says Cecilia firing icy bullets from her new sniper rifle at the main body and the shell.
"We have this!" Says Maya using her new grenade launcher at it while also making sure to not accidentally blow up her friends.
The legend then turns its head and fires a massive beam of water at them but using her ice powers Cecilia creates a wall of ice that defends them for a time but the legend doesn't stop firing at them determined to break this barrier and the ice can only take so much damage and begins to slowly crack…
"Let me help!" Says Charlotte using her new water element staff to create a massive geyser under the legend knocking it over.
"You saved us there Charlotte!" Says Cecilia.
"I had to help my friends," Responds Charlotte.
"While it's down!" Cries Chifuyu.
"Got it!" Says everyone.
"Let's go get with the others so we can help and thanks Charlotte" Says Maya.
"Yeah…" Says both Charlotte and Cecilia.
"We're not done just yet!" Says Laura using her new twin daggers to attack over and over and over without really needing to stop.
"No stopping us now!" Says Matthew the shifter using his wing-arms to slash and slam the legend while it's down as well as his insectoid pincer tail to grab on to shock it with crimson red bolts of electricity.
"Indeed let us finish this quickly!" Says Matthew the genius using his suit, Quetzalcoatl, and his transforming weapon to hit it as much and as quickly as possible.
"Agreed boss!" Says Bapho using his claws, teeth, legs, his tail, and even his wings to attack.
"This might hurt like hell!" Says Shara flinging her flail around like she just don't care hitting multiple body parts at once.
But of course the legend recovers and using its powerful arms leaps backwards and roars again but is hit by missiles from Unit 02 followed but a combination attack from Unit-01 and Unit 01.5 first the fire from above and then using the weapon on their tails slam down on it then Unit 02.5 who leaps all over the creature slicing at its shell with her sword finally comes in Unit 00 who grabs the legend flies into the air and drops him. But surprisingly it tanks this entire devastating assault.
"Damn this thing is tough if it can tank all of that!" Says Chifuyu.
"Yes, this one's shell is much stronger than normal. My other self may have a transformation that can deal with this…" Responds Matthew the genius before turning to Matthew the shifter.
"You got it pal watch this!" Says Matthew the shifter right before transforming first his entire body grows and becomes a darker color and his arms become covered by a brownish plated shell that at certain points has what looks to be moss on it and that at the end of each of his hands makes it look like three spiked brass knuckles while the sides of his arms have lots of massive spikes on them the first row are very small but they get much bigger at the second and final row his shoulders also gain giant spikes that point forward near the tip one on each shoulder his back legs just like almost every other part of his body get covered in these plates too with his feet becoming like that of a horse or cow or mule or donkey, his tail becomes three pronged and covered in plates with the longest prong in the middle, finally his head becomes more gorilla like and gains gigantic plates the lower jaw is completely covered in plates while the upper jaw is not and looks more like a crown and when he finishes transforming he lets out a roar while punching his fists together on his hind legs.
"The hell is that thing!?" Screams Laura.
"That is Garangolm of the Monster Hunter universe one of the three lords alongside Lunagaron and Malzeno he may look aggressive but prefers to spend his days sleeping he also produces a sap that helps plant life grow in fact if you look closely you can see some flowers growing from its body" Responds Matthew the genius.
The legend roars back and from its shell it pulls out it's hind legs and rushes at Garangolm their fists interlocking and Garangolm gets pushed back a bit but the legend fires a water blast right in Garangolms face but it has little effect as he just head smashes the legend staggering it before Garangolm hits the legend with a left hook then a right hook and then slams both fists down at once the legend goes into its shell completely and then extending its arm pulling itself forward at surprising speeds and retracting its arm for safety it hits Garangolm right in the stomach one of the few non plated spots but in return Garagolm grabs the shell and tosses it into Unit 02 who using his tentacle drill grabs it and throws it back Garangolm then throws it to Units 01 and 01.5 who working together launch it back then he throws it to Units 02.5 and 00 who also working together with 00 doing most of the heavy lifting send it flying back Garangolm throws it one last time flinging it forward with little effort all this spinning makes the legend and his deep sea drakes furious they all roar in perfect sync and extending both of his arms and gripping the ground with as much power as it can and with the water blasts of the drakes fires a massive water blast at everyone the water blast hits them and sends everyone flying even the legend gets pushed back a bit by the sheer force of the attack alone…
"God damn that is powerful you sure we shouldn't bring our IS Units from now on?" Sarcastically says Chifuyu.
"Well after this fight you most certainly will need to bring them as most creatures could kill you with ease so yes bringing them will be necessary" Responds Matthew the genius.
Garangolm is begins to rage it slams its fists into— no through the ground and pulls them back out its arms are not covered in things its right arm is covered in semi–molten rock while the left is covered in soaking wet moss it then sweeps its face into the floor as well covering its head plates in a mixture of moss an molten rock but these seemingly have no effect on Garangolm itself.
"What did it just do?" Asks Maya.
"Garangolm are capable of increasing their arms and face in semi–molten rock and wet moss giving them the use of fire and water element as well as the blast ailment" Responds Unit 02.
The Shelled Legend is also beginning to rage even more so than before its skin color changes from blue to grayish red it fully comes out of its shell again hind legs and all and it and the drakes begin to fire water blast after water blast as they advance forward and once they do get close enough and punches Garangolm in the face setting off an explosion that hurts it it reels back but thinking quickly picks Garangolm up and throwing him into Unit 00 luckily 00 catches him and puts him down once put down Garagolm using his blast hand launches himself into the air and slams down with his water hand creating a geyser that goes forward after he hits the flow he punches the legend once with both arm then does a massive CLAP with both hands creating steam. The legend extending one of its arms pulls itself backwards and fires a blast of water that slows Garangolm down then it gets into its shell and using one arm starts to pull itself in a complete circle at insane speeds when Garangolm tires to get close he gets hit in the face and sent flying same with all of the Units and everyone else when they try to slow him down then once at a high enough speed he flings himself into Garangolm who gets hit in the stomach again and falls on his side before recovering but in extreme pain the legend still in the shell launches itself again but Garangolm dodges it and when it tries again punches him with both hands and stops him midair Garangolm quickly picks him up and throws him into everyone else who quickly get ready to attack.
"Come on now guys! The final stretch of this battle!" Cries Chifuyu running in with her Katana to leap over it and hit the top of the shell.
"Yeah! We have this!" Hollars Ichika doing a leaping shield bash then an spinning sword combo ending with an upwards slice.
"We can do it!" Screams Houkai using her twin swords to first send waves of fire at the shell then rushing in and stabbing it in the shell then an upwards and downwards spinning slice that makes an explosion of flame at the end.
"We won't lose to you!" Yells Laura using her twin daggers to double stab then kick then leap back with a slash and jump back in with a triple slash.
"Come on guys hit it with all you've got!" Says Cecilia making basketball sized ice to fire while firing things from her sniper rifle.
"Understood!" Says Charlotte summoning geysers from below before creating a giant wave from the water in the ocean.
"Be careful everyone, we don't know if this thing has any tricks up its sleeves still!" Says Maya firing every single type of ammo she can back to back to back.
"No need to worry we'll be fine no matter what it tries to do!" Says Lingyin she using her new lighting abilities charges up and speeds towards the shelled legend and does multiple slices first in the shape of a star then a eastern dragon then a western dragon then a storm cloud ending her combo with god knows how many kicks at extreme speeds.
"GRAAAAAAAAHHH!" Screeches Kaminari who first head bashes the shell then kicks at it in lots of different positions then punching it and even biting it.
"Aw hell yeah!" Says Shara flinging her flail around like a toy slamming it into the ground and flinging it upwards and even kicking and punching it to launch the spiked ball into the shell.
"Units fire all weapons at will!" Says Matthew the genius using his transforming weapons abilities to attack first using it in scythe mode to send his slices at it with space time slice then warping time to instantaneously get in close switch to hammer mode and use reality breaker to slam down on it then warping time again to get war away and switching to sniper mode to fire bullets at it.
"Yeah let's end this thing once and for all!" Says Bapho now using his shadowy abilities to change shape like turning himself into blades to cut with or hammers to well hammer with.
"Understood!" Responds all the units as they begin to go all out firing missiles slicing with swords cutting with chainsaw tails or hammering with mace tails and using drills.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAA! RAAAAAAAAAA!" Roars Garangolm mightily using his ultimate attack forcing everyone away from him hit creates a platform from the earth around him (or in this case sand) with one arm them leaps into the air and slams down with both causing a gigantic explosion that rids him of all of his moss and rock on his face and arms.
The shelled legend gets sent flying but comes out of it's again to roar loudly then slamming the ground in all directions out of fury and firing beams as well it tries one last attack it retreats into its shell one last time spinning gaining even more speed than ever before and launching itself at its foes but everyone working together launch it back and a portal opens behind it as it flies sending it back to its deep sea watery home conveniently right next to food as well it and its drakes begin to eat happy to be back home after all this time…
Garangolm lets out one last roar of victory before turning back into Matthew the shifter.
"We did it!" Cheers everyone as they walk home and begin talking about how cool all their friends were…
On the monorail that leads to the IS Academy…
"I feel like somethings off…" Says Chifuyu.
"I feel it too sis something bad is about to happen…" Responds Ichika.
"Eh whatever it is we'll just kick it ass" Says Bapho.
"Yeah Bapho's right (as much as I hate to admit it)" Says Cecilia muttering that last part.
"I didn't hear that last part, blue girl can you repeat it? (stuck up IS piloting bitch)" Responds Bapho out of spite.
"Ooh you want to go? I've been dying for a rematch with you!" Says Cecilia.
"Agreed blue girl!" Responds Bapho.
"Oh once we get back your ass is toast, evil shadow!" Says Cecilia.
Everyone including Matthew the genius laughs at these two's rivalry.
But once they got off the monorail they see something unsettling…
"IS's? What are they doing here? And those aren't just any ordinary IS either!" Says Charlotte.
They all walk closer to investigate.
"Hello again Chifuyu Oirmura and Ichika Oirmura…" ?
I'm not the type for cliffhangers but I just couldn't help myself this time around I had too set this up for the next chapter that hopefully won't take too long now you see why this took eight years to finish but it's out now and by the way here are all of the new characters weapons and what they are from…
Ichika: Shagaru Magala Sword and Shield (rise version fully upgraded).
Chifuyu: Chameleos LongSword (rise version fully upgraded).
Lingyin: Thunder Serpent Narwa (fully upgraded).
Laura: Malzeno Dual Blades (fully upgraded).
Charlotte: Water element Staff from a creature with the title of "God Of The Ocean" Original creation (if I think it will be worth it you might get to see what creature it's from).
Houkai: Twin Swords from a creature with the title of the "Goddess Of The Raging Flames" also original (once again if you're lucky you'll see it).
Maya: Plant grenade launcher also, also original it has no monster basis.
Cecilia: Velkhana Heavy Bowgun (a modified rise version of it).
Now I could put Shara's new weapon here but it's mainly just her flail with dragon scales in it now. Oh and uh don't forget to leave a review. I can't improve without them and see if you can guess who this mysterious character might be! See you soon! (Hopefully)...
