Five years had passed since the wedding, and Santana found herself working most of those years. Any movie or any show that came along she would take whether or not she thought it would be good. Quinn was a doctor and that kept her busy as well. The amount of time they had spent together in those five years was not enough for two people in love. Santana was thinking of the kiss with Dani at least once a day, and feeling guilt for not telling her wife about it. Quinn was just holding on for dear life, but both girls did not want to admit that they had made a mistake. Santana was miserable but she thought she still owed Quinn for the heartache she caused. Santana was starring in a new movie in Los Angeles and just like deja vu she had a very familiar co star. First time she steps onto set, she see's Dani and couldn't help but smile.

"Funny running into you here" Santana flirted

"I didn't know you would be in this, my manager just thought it would be good for me to do something different than music."

"Well im glad your manager got you here."

"how's married life?"dani asked

"Um good, good. Very marriagey"

"That's not a word" Dani laughed "Can we talk in my trailer?"

"Sure lets go"

Both girls went to Dani's trailer and sat on the couch and the blue haired girl grabbed the latina's hands

"Can I be frank here Santana without you getting upset?"

"Um yeah"

"You look miserable San, I saw it the moment you walked up to me" Dani stated and Santana started crying "what's wrong?"

"I'm really trying to lie to you right now, but you're the one person that I could never do that to" the Latina said "I made a mistake marrying Quinn, and Rachel has been right from the beginning. The happiest I ever was in my life was all my moments with you."

"Santana you need to separate and find yourself again, maybe this movie came at a good time to get some space?"

"Dani, we have been avoiding each other for months maybe even years"

"Well talk to her, and tell her that you need space with no talking and not even texting or anything. Cut off all communications with her and focus on this amazing movie that's going to win us some awards" Dani smiled and made the movie star chuckle

"I needed to see you, are you going to be my bestie during this filming?"

"I will always be your bestie as long as you ask me"

Santana gave the girl a hug and went to her trailer to call her wife

"Hey babe, how's LA?" the blonde asked

"Hi love, it's good and hot as always haha. But um we need to talk" Santana stated

"So talk" Quinn knew something bad was happening

"We both know we haven't been great and I think that while I'm doing this movie we should take a break"

"I guess you have been feeling some type of way but I haven't San"

"Oh Q, please be realistic. You know we haven't been ourselves. Its just three months Q"

"Where is this coming from?"

"I just need space, and to find myself again"

"So what exactly do this mean?"

"Just cut off communication to each other for the three months until I'm back in New York."

"You're on drugs Santana, there's no way we are doing this. We are married Santana!"

Santana started crying "Please Q, I just need some space"

"Fine Santana, you can take all the time and space you need. I don't care anymore, you keep making me feel like a fool so you know what we are done!"

"Quinn stop-" Santana was cutoff by the blonde ending the phone call and Santana was rethinking the entire situation and went to her hotel room for the rest of the night

The next day the Latina showed up to set with super puffy eyes from crying all night and dark circles from not sleeping. She went to hair and make up and there found her ex- girlfriend. Dani had just started her hair and saw Santana sit next to her looking a mess. The black haired beauty didn't even turn to look at her co-star but just started talking.

"I know I look like shit, but I told Quinn"

"Oh San, I'm sorry" Dani replied and grabbed the Latina's hand "You always look beautiful no matter what"

"Haha I doubt that but thanks"

"You're welcome, I hope you can find some happiness in this short time while we film"

"Me too Dani, me too"

A few weeks pass by and Santana is feeling a lot better, she somehow cut off communication with most of her friends including Rachel and Kurt. So she had lots of time to reflect on herself and search for what makes her happy. Dani gave Santana space also and if they were going to hang out she wouldn't be the one to ask, she needed Santana to know that she believes in the Latina to find happiness alone. After a month and a half Santana was wondering why the blue haired girl hadn't asked to hang out or anything, she went to knock on the girl's trailer to ask her.

"Santana welcome to my trailer for like the millionth time"

"Alright Danielle, what's the deal?"

"Did you just use my full name, what is happening?"

"Why haven't we hung out away from the set? Why haven't you invited me to dinner or something?"

"Um well two can play that game. You have not done that either? Besides I wanted you to take your time, and come to me when you were ready to hang out as friends"

"You kissed me on my wedding day Dani, you're not the kind to let me take my time"

"First of all, you made me kiss you and secondly Santana, I thought we were friends?"

"We are but I'm just referencing that you letting me take my time is unusual"

"You know if we do go hang out that most likely the paparazzi will take a picture and the rumor mill will start. Your wife might think you stopped talking to her because of me. I mean she knows I'm here but still" Santana bowed her head "S, she knows we are doing this movie together right?"

"She hung up the phone before I could tell her" the Latina shrugged

"Santana!" Dani lightly pushed her co-star

"What does it matter? People are going to talk either way"

"You are still married Santana, and the media is not going to care if we are just friends"

"So what do you want? Not to hang out at all outside of set?"

"Of course but you have to tell Quinn"

"That we are friends and are doing the movie together?"

"Duh"

Santana rolled her eyes but obliged just like Dani could always make her do, so she went to her trailer and decided to call the blonde.

"Hello?" an unfamiliar voice answered

"Hey, is this Quinn?" Santana questioned

"Oh no, but let me get her for you" a woman said "Babe, someone's on the phone for you"

Santana tensed up and was furious but did not hang up the phone

"Hello?"

"Who the hell is calling you babe?"

"Oh Santana, it's not what it sounds like!"

"Q, you better explain right now!"

"She's someone that I met but San, we are broken up remember! This is because of you!"

"No Quinn, we are still married! Whether you believe it or not. You didn't have the decency to tell me you are fucking some random whore!"

"Santana she is not a random whore-"

"Well she is not your wife either! To think I'm calling you to give you a heads up because I still care about you and here you are dating sluts"

"I'm not cheating Santana"

"Do you love her?"

"San-"

"Do you?!"

"Yes and I still love you"

"Unbelievable" Santana stated "Do what you want Q, but don't be surprised if you see paparazzi pictures of me and Dani-"

"Dani like your ex?"

"Yes"

"Wow, so you're accusing me of cheating when you have been doing it this whole time . Hypocrite"

Dani went into the Latina's trailer room while Santana was screaming on the phone

"Actually nothing like that, we are friends Quinn. We are in the same movie and even though its hard to believe we have yet to hangout just the two of us. We haven't touched or kissed or anything even though its hard not to and I have had thoughts run through my head. But I'm staying loyal to you blondie because this break wasn't about sleeping around, it was for me. I needed to tell you that after a month and a half my friend Dani and I were going to probably be seen in the town and I needed you to know that we are only friends! But I guess that doesn't matter to you because you have thrown everything we had in the trash by sleeping with her and not waiting for me"

Quinn realized she messed up "Santana I'm sorry"

"I did everything right Q, I gave you everything I could to make up for the suffering I put you through and I gave you a heads up about having a break and it still wasn't enough"

"No Santana, it was me that wasn't enough. I have been so angry at you all this time since our wedding day, I tried to forget what I saw because I love you and I wanted to believe you loved me too but I've been holding this grudge for so long."

"What are you talking about Q?"

"I saw the passionate kiss between you and your friend on our wedding day Santana! I still went along with the wedding and the marriage hoping that we would find happiness together and here we are."

"Q, I-"

"I held on for so long because if I didn't have you then she would and I guess with that I was somewhat getting back to you for what you did that day. I'm done Santana, I will always love you and I'm finally letting you go. Bye." Quinn hung up the phone leaving Santana in tears and full of emotions from anger, pain, guilt, and sadness. Dani was in disbelief but ran to hug the Latina who needed a friend. Santana felt the embrace and immediately latched on to the smaller girl and let her tears and aching pain leave her body.
