Jimmy's return to the lab was rather abrupt as Carl, Sheen, and Goddard watched him enter. Goddard was already barking to alert him over the strange readings the monitor was displaying, indicating Cosma's molecular structure. Meanwhile, Carl and Sheen stated the obvious.
"Tell me you had a brain blast, Jimmy," said Carl. "I don't wanna get digested…!"
Jimmy grinned, "Don't worry Carl. I reconfigured the Universe Portal Machine to teleport our worlds outside of her stomach. She won't know we're gone and we'll be safe and sound. But now we've gotta keep her from coming back."
As he rotated his spinning workbench to reach for his gear, he continued, "My shrink ray should be able to supersize Spongebob's krabby patties and... AW COM'ON!"
"HEY," Sheen shouted! "That's my line!"
The Shrink Ray was in critical condition. It was left disassembled from having parts of it updated to a meticulous degree.
James said, "I forgot I wasn't finished replacing its components with new ones! Goddard and I can finish it but it'll take too long to get it right. We'll need your help."
"Wait Wha," Sheen stuttered. "Uh.. Carl, that's your cue."
"Wha," Carl said not paying attention.
"2+2 Carl. 2+2."
Jimmy turned around completely and put his hands on their shoulders. "Ask yourselves, what would your dads, llamas, or ultra lord do in this situation?"
"Whaddya need," Sheen said with a screwdriver in his hand, accompanied by Carl grabbing a drill.
Cosma accompanied the Fenton crew far outside of Walker's Prison. Box Ghost was recently arrested…again…but his lunch box was borrowed from lock-up to summon a meal for both the teens and the supervillain. They all finished chowing down and Cosma licked her lips and rubbed her stomach.
"Mmmmmm. That was a good sandwich."
Sam nodded, "I know, right? Just a little high on calories."
"Indeed. In fact, I actually feel…rejuvenated."
"Really," Danny grinned.
Tucker asked, "Does this mean you'll let our worlds go and head back home?"
"Nope," said the supervillain.
"AW MAN," Tucker snapped. "Why not?"
"Because I still want a bite of that soggy platter you're preparing for me."
Danny commented, "Honestly when you actually try it, you don't even notice."
Sam asked, "Did you just wanna talk or tour the Ghost Zone while you're waiting?"
"That is tempting," said Cosma. "But I have a better idea."
She hovered up from the surface of the asteroid she stood on then gravitated two more projectiles towards her sides with the steady lift of both hands.
"It's been a while since I've gotten my hands dirty. Especially in this casual form of mine. So I feel it is about time for me to practice and see if I still have the touch."
Unsurprised by now, Danny sighed, "Well, it had to happen eventually." He palmed his fists and yelled, "GOING GHOST!"
In an instant, he switched from his regular casual form to that of his snow white-haired superhero persona and black jumpsuit. Wasting no time at all, he rocketed forward to the evildoer who let him deal the first blow to her chest, which did nothing but crack his knuckles! He held his bruised hand and was struck on the dome by the whip of Cosma's tail! He crashed on the ground as the villain started laughing to herself before flinging a flurry of asteroids at him! Danny quickly recovered to shoot beams of energy to destroy them and launched one back at Cosma that actually pushed her back!
"Urgh… Decent start," she grunted.
"Guess we can't punch her, but we can sure as heck shoot her," said Danny.
Heading back to the shuttle, Sam replied, "I'm on it!"
Cosma returned to face the Phantom head-on. He shot lasers at her, which she punched through before hitting the teen and throwing him into a floating rock above them! She swelled back to a gigantic form big enough to eat Danny whole, but he went intangible flying through her. His next shots did barely anything to Cosma's flesh as she turned to breathe fire on him! Luckily, his ecto shields protected him long enough for Sam to come back with two rocket launchers for her and Tucker. They both fired a missile at the supervillain who shrunk to get between them and rotate to explode them with her heat vision! Turning back around, she is frozen instantly by a freeze ray from Frostbite and Dani arriving from a Ghost Portal in front of her!
The female Phantom said, "Good call, Tuck! Had a feeling it had something to do with the lack of a blue sky."
Stunned, Cosma freed herself, bursting the ice around her and waving her arms to her sides, unleashing a wave of energy that destroys everything in the vicinity! All except the rocket which Danny shielded. Frostbite took a swing at the lizard and successfully left a dent in her armor, but she countered by teleporting behind him, grabbing him by the cape, and tossing him towards Dani! She moved to the side to catch him and returned fire at Cosma who smacked a lot of the shots into varying directions. But caught off guard, she gets blown into another asteroid by yet another arriving hero. Valerie shows up on her jetboard firing rockets at her!
"I got'chu guys," she announced!
She strafed around the creature who fired back whilst aiming her hand at Fenton coming for her, followed by Dani again freezing Cosma's fist in place. Danny joined in charging a punch with energy along with another launch from Sam's gun knocking the villain around. She lasered them with her eyes, yet each beam failed to reach as the group scurried away. It's thanks to Tucker piloting the shuttle that they were able to dodge the attacks with ease. The evildoer's nostrils flared as she roared at everyone, though whether it was out of frustration or a bout of excitement was unclear.
Meanwhile, Jimmy and company continued to work in the lab, grabbing the necessary tools to finish the broken invention. The boy genius pulled up communications and asked, "No pressure Spongebob, but did you finish the platter?"
"Almost ready," said Squarepants on the other side. "Only a few more left!"
"Great! We'll be done here too. Keep it up!"
There was a sudden tremor in the cave as the fight grew more aggressive outside. Things ramped up as Valerie ended up gliding into Cosma's maw and shooting from the inside! She was spat out and into the wing of the rocket as Tucker swooped by to catch her. And the explosions, followed by Danny and Dani combining a powerful beam at the giant created a gargantuan explosion! When the dust settled, however, she was nowhere to be found.
"Ok. That can't be it, right," Sam asked right before getting struck across the cheek and sent falling against her side! Cosma, in miniature form, ran up to her and lasered her rapidly in an annoying manner.
"Ow! OW! STOP THAT! DANNY!"
Her boyfriend hastily responded, trying to concentrate a beam on Sam lethal only to the one currently blasting her. Cosma by then had supersized herself and pushed both Sam and Danny hurdling in the void of the Ghost Zone. Tucker's piloting skills certainly came in handy to catch both of them with the side hatch. And as Valerie returns fire and Dani and Frostbite accompany her, Cosma whips her tail fast enough that the wind blows all besides the King in random directions. He is grasped by the neck as the villain shrunk down and tossed him into a rock in front of her.
"Not bad for a yeti and a few teenagers. But it's not quite enough."
"Which is precisely why I asked for yet another helping hand from an old friend," said Frostbite.
Cosma wasn't going to hear it from a king. She charged at him when a fuzzy hand grabbed her by the head beside her. It came from a portal opening up revealing Wulf taking her and slamming her into the ground! The anthro almost lunged his sharp claws into her when Cosma warped a fair distance in front of him, going into a gigantic form to chomp. Frostbite shot an ice ray into her throat the second she expanded nearly choking her for a moment to give Wulf time to deliver a devastating flying fist into her snout! A shockwave flew across space as Cosma was crashed against her back into a floating column which she wielded like a bat, swinging at the two anthros trying to lunge at her again. One more swing would've hit them had it not been for Tucker blowing it to pieces with the shuttle's missiles. Instead, Cosma shrunk again and clotheslined Frostbite and Wulf, bringing them with her through one of the floating doors leading to a different dimension. One which was fittingly an active volcano! She slammed them into the ashy ground and flew back as the magma underneath erupted into a blaze! Fortunately, the two beings went intangible in the nick of time.
"Interesting," Cosma commented. "I didn't know those doors led to other domains. I wonder if one happens to lead to mine…"
Let's find out!
Danny arrived with his clone to the fight; both striking Cosma in the snout and sending her through another door in the same plane. Dani stayed behind to hold the one that leads back to the Ghost Zone open while her template found himself tumbling into another strange world. One that was visibly medieval in style based on the nearby village with a grassy field where a lone cat-like being, a student, was stunned at the sight of the fighters landing in front of her.
Once Cosma recovered in a two-story form, she saw the anthro aim her sword with a ball of yarn at the tip of it. She would've had the child disintegrated in the excitement, but it was Danny who stepped in, getting behind the kid and using a Ghostly Wail that sent Cosma back through the gate!
Danny smiled and turned to the kid as he began to leave.
"Nice work!"
He left as quickly as he came back through the door which disappeared on the planet he came from. And the child was left both frozen and confused.
Back in the Ghost Zone, Danny returned along with Frostbite, Wulf, and Dani, but there was no sign of Cosma as she landed in one of the world's they exited from.
"Crap," Danny grunted. "I forgot we still need to get our friends back."
POOF
Yet again in titanic form, Cosma appeared in front of the gang with anger on her face. Her snout was wrinkled as if ready to shout at them. Her eyes sharpened as she began to chuckle to herself. Soon it grew into a burst of maniacal laughter as everyone around her stood in abject confusion and perhaps terror.
"Hmhmhmhm. Hahahaha! HAHAHAHAHA! I must say, you really impressed me. Each of you. Never have I ever been given this much of a challenge from anyone! I have defeated hundreds, perhaps thousands of powerful foes over the decades. Yet none has ever been as brave as either of you when faced with what most would describe as a God. A title which…honestly suits me quite well. It's a major step up from the usual power-obsessed do-gooders I face on the daily. And I'm proud of you."
Struggling to accept the flattery, Danny bore a crooked smile as he shrugged, "Uh…thanks?"
"Now that the moment's passed, I think I worked up an appetite. Time for my feast!"
COMING UP
All seemed lost before Jimmy Neutron arrived on an asteroid with a plate full of perfectly stacked Krabby Patties held by him and his three allies.
"Cosma, your food addiction ends here!"
He along with Carl and Sheen tossed the food while Goddard launched the perfectly repaired shrink ray in his mouth to supersize it to a scale big enough to engulf Cosma's maw! She carefully munched it and swallowed it whole, licking her lips and tapping her stomach when she said, "Mmmm... That was better than e-"
ZZZZZZZZZZ…
Falling asleep, Cosma's head bowed with her eyes shut and her arms drifting forward.
"What the heck just happened," Sheen asked.
Carl smirked, "That, my friend, is what's called the Itus."
"That'll do it," Valerie agreed.
Neutron added, "And with the Universe Portal Machine reconfigured, all our planets will be teleported back to their original orbit, and she'll return to wherever she came fast asleep."
"Let's hope she doesn't make it back here again somehow," Danny snarked. "I sure hate to find out where she came from if she's this much of a threat to us."
"She even said we were braver than people she's met before," Sam added.
"And she is right," said Frostbite. "Each of you showed great leadership and courage today. And you didn't make too many quips this time!"
"I had a few," Danny answered. "But she gave me the sense shed eat us then and there if I made a Dad joke."
Jimmy smiled, "Big honor from a planet-eater if you ask me. But the real honor goes to Spongebob. Without him, we wouldn't have the means to stop her."
On Jimmy's communications, Spongebob overheard the remark and said, "Aaaaw, thanks Jimmy! Give yourselves some credit. You saved the world! Again!"
Dani sighed as she leaned back against Wulf's pelt and received a lick to the face from him. "Definitely a neverending battle..."
"Well, I guess that's another one of our crossovers out the picture, Jimmy," Danny reflected. "Thanks for the help! Oh and was Timmy involved?"
Jimmy responded in a casual manner, "I saw his world but I took care of it too."
"Phew... That's a relief. Last thing we need is him asking what could go wrong again."
"Trust me. If we're needed again, we'll be ready."
The joy looked at Cosma fast asleep before she abruptly proofed out of existence back to her home universe.
"If there's one thing Cosma taught us, it's that we can overcome pretty big obstacles."
