"So, how do we get those brats out of there?"

"They're far more than brats, Jack, and you know it." "Peace, both of you. Focus on our task!"

The three adults are in the cab of the Porkchop Express, trying to find Lo Shen's hideout. They were in a familiar alleyway: Jack and Wang first encountered the Wing Kong and the original Storms in the same alley when trying to rescue Mao Yin from Lo Pan, who they also encountered in this very alley all those years ago.

Jack navigated through a bend when all three heard shuffling in the back. "What the hell? Gracie, what the hell is back there?" Gracie looked back as Jack was driving, and her jaw nearly hit the deck: an actual pig. "Jack, did you forget someone's livestock, or is the truck finally living up to its name?" "What?!" He slammed the brakes, causing everyone to jerk, and he looked straight back.

"It's that Hispanic girl's pig! Why didn't they take it?!"

"Oink!"

"Well now, maybe fortune is on our side." Egg Shen muttered sage like. "Contrary to popular belief, pigs are quite intelligent."

"Let's put that to the test: where is your owner?"

Oinky shook his head, almost remorsefully.

"Well, old timer, looks like fortune decided to laugh at us instead."

Then Oinky jerked his head up, and jumped out of the passenger window. "Hey! Where's that strip of bacon running to?"

They watched him run to a pagoda with doors that have dragon carvings, and he seemed to beckon them to follow him into it, seeing as some statues seemed to resemble Lo Shen.

"Well, I'll be damned. Guess this is the villainess's secret base. Shall we crash the party?" Egg Shen smiled brightly. "You know my answer, Jack. And you, Ms. Law?"

Gracie nodded. "If there was ever a time and place for action, this is it."

Jack the readied his knife. "Well then, let's say go say hello, gang." He exited the semi truck, and followed by Egg and Gracie, kicked open the door, only to find it suspiciously empty.

Trial of Pestilence

Another dark room, and the first thing the agents notice is something crawling on them.

"Eek! There's something on me and in my hair! Get them off!" Clover screamed in the dark. "I'm more worried about if they're venomous!" Sam tried to reason. "Well, the first thing I recommend is to try and stay calm." Britney was trying to calm everyone down.

"Pity, as I would have relished your screams, but I have a promise to uphold, so consider yourselves lucky in this Trial of Pestilence."

As soon as Lo Shen finished her sentence, the lights flashed on, revealing the agents in a pit full of centipedes. Clover immediately screamed in terror.

"Ahhh! Gross!" Martin immediately thought of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and wondered if this room also held pressure plates.

"Beautiful, aren't they? Now listen very carefully, as I will only say this once: your way out of this predicament is hidden beneath my beautiful pets. Feel your way inside them, and your prize is yours. Oh, but be careful: their queen is in here somewhere. If you kill even one, you forfeit your very souls. Farewell."

The only sound left was the crawling and skittering. None of the girls dared to move. Martin asked Java not move either, seeing as he is too big, but to instead try and help the girls be calm. "Be calm. Centipedes bite, but not kill. No poison. Stand still."

"Hard to do when they're in your hair!" Clover, as to be expected, complained.

Martin was crawling extremely slowly. As creepy and irritating as they were, he know that one wrong move, and everyone is dead, or worse. He was gently moving the bugs aside to dig. He also observed the centipedes themselves: they did not look like any centipede known to man: orange carapaces with green stripes. Their behavior suggested that this was a hive mind. Lo Shen mentioned a queen, so he reasoned that said queen is the leader. Some of them had spikes on their ends, suggesting they were male. The ones without could be the females. After several minutes, Martin noticed a trace of gold. Carefully moving the bugs aside, he noticed it was a Buddha head made of solid gold. While grabbing it, Martin felt a sinking feeling that something bad was going to happen the moment he pulled it.

His instincts were right: as soon as he pulled the head, the hive dispersed, and through a now open gate, a gigantic version of the bugs appeared: it was almost the same size as the Porkchop Express if it pulled a trailer. Upon seeing the agents, it unleashed an unearthly screech, and moved its legs up and down.

"RUN!" Martin yelled. "THE WAY IS OPEN!"

No one needed to be told twice. The monster, Martin assuming it as the aforementioned 'queen', was deceptively fast for its size. Thankfully, everyone made it through the gate. Everyone that is, except for Diana and Alex. "MARTIN!" They screamed in horror. Looking back in horror and fury, Martin charged the beast, which held the two girls in it's mandibles. "Java, get the joints!" Martin ordered while trying to punch it in the face. Java launched himself onto its back, and attacked the area between the carapace and the legs. It lurched back, and screeched, allowing Martin to punch it straight in the eyes.

The insect, now blinded, let the girls go, allowing everyone to flee to safety, and to their next trial.
