Chapter 31: Reaching The Bottom Of An Ocean's Trench! Vs. Ina!
After a good night's rest, everyone woke up full of energy. This was especially true for Michael and Ina since their battle was to take place in the evening. After watching and cheering on the others, with Ame facing the winner of Michael and Ina's battle, the duo made their way to the locker room.
Michael - "Best of luck to you Ina."
Ina - "Same to you Michael. May the better Trainer win.
Michael - "May the better Trainer win."
They shook hands, then were escorted out to the battlefield.
Abigail - "This will be a 6-on-6 Round of 32 battle between Ina of Hoenn's Sootopolis City and Michael Masi of Pokémon Island. The battle will continue all Pokémon on one side are unable to continue. Are both trainers ready?"
Both Trainers activate their Battle Disks.
Michael/Ina - "Ready!"

Both Pokémon rushed towards each other, their attacks colliding together. Sceptile then quickly overpowered Crawdaunt and knocked him out.

Sceptile - "Right!"
Greninja vanished from the battlefield, only to reappear next to Michael as Sceptile took his place.

Michael crossed his arms, silently saying no.
Match #6: Delcatty (Wise Glasses) Vs. Jellicent (Mystic Water)
Abigail - "Delcatty Vs. Jellicent! Begin!"

Ina's Hand: 6 + 1 = 7
Ina - "Acid Armor!"
Michael - "Charge up energy!"
Jellicent: Defense +2
Delcatty charged up energy as Jellicent raised her Defense.

Abigail - "All six of Ina's Pokémon are knocked out. So the winner of the battle and moving on to the Round of 16 is Michael Masi!"
The crowd cheered for Michael's dominate victory. Michael then walked over and raised Ina's hand, getting the crowd to cheer for her as well despite losing. Soon they were escorted back to the locker room.
Michael - "Sorry for the beatdown Ina."
Ina - "Don't worry about it Michael. To be honest, compared to Fauna, my team isn't built for countering weaknesses easily."
Michael - "Don't worry about it. In due time, you'll have a better team compared to right now."
Ina - "You think so?"
Michael - "I know it."
They soon joined the rest of the party for dinner. After having a good meal, everyone went to bed to get a good night's rest.
