Revenge Is Sweet Until It Isn't-Ch 21
Penelope opened her eyes and smiled as she saw her sleeping husband still cuddled up to her, she kissed his lips gently causing him to grin and say, "now that's a good way to wake up", he opened his eyes and looked at her and said, "are you okay this morning?", she nodded her head and said, "we're all fine handsome, just fine". He leaned in and pressed his lips against hers in a soft and loving kiss, they pulled apart when they heard somebody clear their throat, they looked to see Dave and Fran standing there smiling, Penelope said, "good morning", Fran walked closer and handed them both a cup of coffee and a bag containing several chocolate muffins.
Derek said, "morning ma, morning Dave", he took a sip of his coffee and said, "thank you for this", Dave said, "you're welcome. so how did everything go last night, any problems?", Derek shook his head and said, "everything was fine, we slept all night, we just woke up a couple of minutes ago as a matter of fact". Fran looked at her daughter-in-law and said, "I hope it's alright sweetie but I brought you tea instead of coffee?", Penelope said, "that's fine, thank you, tea is easier on my stomach, especially over the past few months".
The four of them stood talking while Derek and Penelope ate their breakfast and it wasn't long before the doctor walked back into the room, she walked over to the bed and said, "how are you doing this morning Penelope, any problems?", she said, "no problems at all, we slept all night". Derek said, "when can baby girl go home doc?", the doctor handed her the release papers and said, "she's free to go now but I must stress something", everybody looked at her as she said, "with Penelope carrying four babies she must be careful and if she has any and I mean any problems, please get her here as soon as you can".
Penelope said, "thank you so much and don't worry we will", the doctor grinned and then turned around and headed out of the room leaving behind the foursome, Derek sighed and said, "are you ready to get out of here sweetness?", she said, "more than ready handsome, more than ready". Dave handed her a bag and said, "we went over to your place and got you both some clean clothes, sooooo, we'll step out and let them get dressed".
Fran said, "we've got to do whatever it takes to keep Penelope and my innocent grand babies all safe", Derek said, "I wholeheartedly agree with you momma", Dave said, "don't worry son, everything is going to be okay, we're not letting Savannah get another shot at hurting kitten or the babies". Penelope said, "do you really think that Savannah is behind this, I mean" and before she could finish her sentence, Derek, Dave and Fran all three in unison said, "yes we do" causing her to sign and nod her head yes in agreement with the trio.
Fran and Dave stepped out of the room a few minutes later so that Derek and Penelope could change their clothes so they could all head back to casa Morgan, when Derek and Penelope came out of the bathroom the nurse smiled and said, "here you go Mrs. Morgan" and Penelope said, "I don't need that wheelchair, I can walk out". The nurse shook her head and said, "oh no mam, it's hospital policy I'm afraid that you have to ride this wheelchair downstairs and out to your car".
enelope opened her mouth and Fran said, "it's okay honey. don't worry, let's just get you home", Penelope blew out a breath as Derek helped her into the wheelchair, Dave said, "I'll go bring the car around and meet you three at the front door", causing the three of them to grin and nod their heads yes. A few minutes later Derek and the nurse were helping Penelope out of the wheelchair and into the backseat of the SUV, Penelope grinned and said, "thank you", the woman grinned and said,"you are very welcome Penelope" she then turned around and pushed the wheelchair back inside of the hospital.
A few minutes later they were pulling out of the parking lot and heading toward the highway that led home, Derek reached over and intertwined fingers with his wife and said, "are you sure that you're alright sweetness?: she grinned at him and said, "I'm fine handsome, just a little tired is all", he leaned in and brushed his lips against hers and said, "I love you". She smiled at him and said, "and I love you angel fish", she then laid her head down on his shoulder and enjoyed the rest of the ride home.
When they got home and got inside it wasn't long before the rest of the team arrived, they were glad to see that Penelope and the babies were all fine, JJ put a movie on in the den for Jack and Henry so that the adults could talk about what had happened to Penelope and make a plan so that what happened to her before would never happen again. Derek sat down beside his wife and said, "alright so what's the plan?: Hotch leaned forward and said, "she's not going to do anything while we're all with Garcia sooooooo we'll just have to make sure that at least one of us is with her at all times, well that is until it's time to put our plan into action".
Penelope said, "and how will you know when to put the plan into motion?", Hotch grinned and said, "we'll give it a few weeks and then make things all to perfect for her to pass up", Penelope said, "are you sure that she'll take the bait?", Reid smiled at her and said, "ohhh yeah, she'll take the bait, she's to simple narcissistic not to". Penelope then sat back and listened as the rest of the family discussed the continued safety of her and the babies until Savannah could be taken care of.
