Revenge Is Sweet Until It Isn't-Ch 22
Over the next several weeks at least one member of the team stayed with Penelope at all times and when they were gone on a case either Fran, Sarah or Desi was always with her, they didn't want to take any chances that she or the babies could get hurt by Savannah and her wicked plan. Penelope was now almost 7 1/2 months pregnant and so was Savannah and everybody thought it was time to put their plan to catch her and make her pay for everything she's done to Penelope and the babies.
Every time that Penelope had a doctors appointment Shauna would see the records on the computer and report the results to Savannah who would hate to hear any good news concerning Penelope or the babies that she carried inside her, she couldn't wait to get rid of all of them so that way she could concentrate on building her life with Derek. Savannah had just come from her check up and was strolling in the park when she saw Sam walking across the way from her, she tried to hide but she wasn't fast enough.
Sam smiled when he saw that she was still pregnant, he knew that he would never have any kind of relationship with Savannah but the baby that was growing inside her was his too, as he made is way over to her he said, "hi Savannah, long time no see", she nodded her head and said, "yes, it has been a while, how have you been Sam?", he motioned for her to sit down on the bench and then he sat down beside her. He said, "I'm good and it looks like you and the baby are doing good, that's good, I'm so glad", Savannah sighed and said, "yes, we're, well we're fine, all three of us", his eyes grew large and he said, "wait, does that mean?:, she said, "yes I'm pregnant with twins and no I don't know what sex they are, I want to be surprised".
He nodded his head and said, "Savannah I would like to talk to you about the babies, if that's alright?", she slid her hand down to her stomach and said, "sure, go ahead, after all they are your children too", Sam said, "I know that we will never have a relationship, well other than sharing the babies but I want you to know that I want to be there for our children, I want to be a part of my babies lives". Savannah looked down at the ground and then up at him and said, "I won't stop you from being a part of the babies lives, I mean you are their father", he grinned and said, "do you mean that, will you really let me be a part of their lives?", she nodded her head and said, "I meant it, I won't keep you away from the children but you were right about one thing, their will never be a relationship between us because Derek Morgan is the only man that I will ever be with".
Sam then watched as she stood up and started to walk away, she then stopped in front of him and handed him a picture of the ultrasound, he smiled down at the picture as he rubbed his finger over it, she said, "I'm suppose to have another appointment in a few weeks and I'll keep you updated on the babies, okay?", he smiled and said, "yes thank you" as he watched her walk away. As hie glanced once again down at the ultrasound picture in his hand he said, "I promise you both that I will be a part of your life, that we will be together", he then stood up and slid the picture into his jacket pocket as he made his way up the sidewalk.
Savannah sighed and rubbed her stomach as she walked through the front door of her apartment, she was exhausted, the babies were kicking a lot now and that made it hard for her to rest at night, she toed off her shoes and laid down on the couch, she smiled and said, "don't worry little ones mommy is going to rest now and then we'll continue with our plans to make the fat cow that stole your father from us pay". She had been sleeping for a couple of hours when her cell started ringing, she saw that it was Shauna and yawned as she said, "hi Shauna", Shauna said, "Vannah, guess who's here at the hospital?", Savannah said, "the fat cow?", Shauna said, "yes. she's here but so is Derek, her appointment is ending and they are standing at the desk to get her next appointment scheduled:.
Shauna said, "wait a second, Derek pulled his cell from his pocket and stepped away", Savannah laid there listening as Shauna said, "Derek just told Penelope that the team is being called out for a case so he's going to call somebody named Anderson to come get her", causing Savannah to raise up off of the couch and start walking across the room. Savannah said, "that means that it will only be the fat cow and this Anderson, whoever he or she is, sooooooo this is my time to strike and won't Derek be so heartbroken when he gets home to find that his wife and children are all gone", Shauna said, "Savannah are you sure that you" and Savannah said, "I've got to go Shauna, I've got to make a call, this is my shot and I'm taking it" and before Shauna could say anything Savannah ended the call.
She dialed a number and after a few rings she heard the voice of another accomplice and he said, "yes Savannah?", Savannah said, "I need for you to get to the hospital right now, Penelope is going to be pretty much alone, Derek and the team have been called away so the cow will be driven back to work by somebody named Anderson". The man said, "alright, I'm on my way, so are you still sure that you want this quote unquote accident to take them all out?", Savannah said, "I know that the babies aren't at fault but I can't let Derek be happy with anybody but me so yes, I want you to take them all out".
The man sad, "alright I'll call you when it's done", Savannah smiled and said, "I can't wait to hear from you again" and then ended the call, meanwhile at the hospital Penelope walked out of the doctors office and headed for the black car out front, she slowly slid into the back seat and latched her seat belt before shutting the door. After the car pulled out of the parking lot and headed toward the main road another car pulled out behind it and the driver gripped the steering wheel and said, "I'm so sorry for this Mrs. Garcia Morgan but a job is a job" as his car got closer and closer to the one that was carrying Penelope and Anderson.
