"It's Pluto!" Chibi-Moon exclaimed, running over to the time guardian. Pluto dropped to her knees, putting down her Garnet Rod as she held the young Sailor Guardian. "Am I dreaming?" Chibi-Moon asked. "Is it really you?"
"Yes, Small Lady." Pluto greeted, "Or rather, Sailor Chibi-Moon. It is I. I have been reborn into this world, through the power of the great Neo-Queen Serenity, I live once more. And I have a new mission to fulfil." I watched as Sailor Moon changed. Her tiara disappeared as a Crescent Moon replaced it. Her Sailor Uniform disappeared, replaced by her long white gown.
"Sailor Moon?" Venus gasped. Pluto, Uranus and I knelt towards Princess Serenity, she had returned, at long last. I held my Deep Aqua Mirror to my chest as I gazed upon my Princess.
"Princess Serenity." Uranus started, "Who will one day become our new Queen, we are honoured to meet you. Protected by Uranus, planet of the wind, I am the Guardian of Heavens, and the outer planets, I am Sailor Uranus."
"And I, protected by Neptune, the outer planet of the seas, Guardian of the Deep Sea, I am Sailor Neptune." I greeted.
"And I am protected by Pluto, the outer planet of the underworld, I am Sailor Pluto." Pluto finished.
"The three Sailor Guardians of the Outer Planets have arrived." We chorused.
"My Priness, our actions have been disrespectful, and we are prepared to atone for them any way you see fit." Uranus said, lifting her head, "But please, know this, we only did what we did to protect you and this planet. Forgive us."
"Back when Silver Millennium first began, our duty as Sailor Guardians was to protect the Kingdom from afar, to stop threats and invaders that came from far away from our Solar System." I explained softly.
"That was then, and now, you have been reborn dear Princess, and so has our Silver Millennium." Pluto added. "Like all the Sailor Guardians, we too were promised rebirth. And thus, we have been awakened anew on this planet to fulfil our duties once more."
"Unfortunately, by the time we fully awoke and managed to sense the threat to Earth, it was already too late." I reported, "The Invasion was complete, the enemies we had to fight had already integrated themselves into our world."
"With nothing to stop them, they quietly established themselves deep within that stronghold." Uranus finished, "We take full responsibility, they snuck in right under our noses and we didn't see."
"So, the Death Busters, what exactly are they?" Venus questioned. Uranus, Pluto and I stood.
"Well, to put it simply, they're aliens." I said. "They're from the distant Tau Nebula System. They came to our world to try and conquer it."
"The Tau Nebula System?" Mercury questioned. Pluto took the top of her Garnet Rod off, letting it levitate over her hand.
"We still don't know much about them." She started to explain, "But the Sankakusu area is surrounded by an enormous aura, a powerful one, and we believe that's what drew them to this world." Inside the red sphere on the bottom of the Talisman, a small diagram appeared, showing the area around Sankakusu. "The Space-Time in the area is distorted, whether by accident or design, I can not say. However, it seems to be their point of entry. If we do not mend this tear in this fabric of Space-Time quickly, the invasion will only get worse."
"We were posing as Mugen Academy students, to try and keep an eye on things." Uranus announced. "Unfortunately we can no longer keep up that facade."
"We're deeply sorry that you all got caught up in this mess." I apologised. "We never wanted that to happen."
"That's alright." Princess Serenity started. "I-"
"Princess, the Death Busters are our enemy to face." I interrupted. "As such, we will be the ones to deal with them."
"Let us help." Venus started. "We can fight with you."
"Stay out of it." Uranus said, causing the Inner Guardians to gasp lightly.
"This is our mission." I added, "We'll be the ones to handle it. Princess, I do apologise, but if this mission is to go smoothly, we can not waste time."
"I agree." Princess Serenity said. "That's why we're all saying you should let us help you."
"Do you really want to be in danger that bad?" Uranus demanded.
"Uranus…" I muttered, gazing at my fiancé worldly.
"Once the Death Busters realise we've left the academy, they may try to come after us. The three of us each live in one of the Condo Towers that surround Sankakusu, we keep it under constant surveillance. We won't fail." Uranus then walked forward, placing her hand on Princess Serenity's head, "Please, don't look so sad Princess. Honestly, I didn't mean to confuse you." Uranus took her hand off Princess Serenity's head, crossing her arms.
"Uranus does not conform to a single gender." I explained, turning back to my Princess and her Guardians, "As a Sailor Guardian, she is able to harness both the strength of a man and a woman."
"We three aren't like you." Uranus continued, "We all have special abilities that the rest of you don't."
"We have greater powers, and the items we have been gifted are quite stronger than yours." I held my Deep Aqua Mirror to my chest, "The three of us are better equipped to deal with this threat, so please, leave it to us."
"These items, the ones you claim are stronger." Tuxedo Mask spoke up, "Are they the three Talismans that will bring destruction?"
"The oracles have warned us repeatedly." Mars told us, "They don't want us to collect the Talismans, so what are you hiding?" I gripped my Deep Aqua Mirror tighter, "Are they just weapons? Tell us your true mission. Why are you really here?"
"The Talismans are more than just mere weapons." I started to explain, "They're keys to help us complete our ultimate Mission."
"Which is to end our greatest enemy." Uranus continued, "The God of Destruction."
TIMESKIP
That night, I sat in my condo watching the sky when a light hail started. It didn't last long, but what I saw next put the fear of Serenity into my heart. An explosion, across the courtyard. It took a second for it to click in my mind. "Haruka!" I cried. I snatched my Transformation Pen off the table it rested on. "Neptune Planet Power!" I shouted, raising my pen. "Make UP!"
Water started to surround me, wrapping around my legs, arms and torso to create my pale blue heeled pointed pumps, with a strap that wrapped around my calves and stopped just under my knees, my white gloves that stopped midway past my forearms, with a pale blue cuff. My skirt appeared on the main body of my suit, it was a pale teal that matched the cape that appeared on my shoulders. A pale blue bow appeared at the back of my skirt, and one on my chest that was held together by a pale teal broach. My necklace was a strip of teal fabric with a clamshell resting on the front. Neptune's planetary symbol appeared on my forehead, which turned into my tiara, which was mainly gold with a pale teal gem in its centre. A light appeared in front of me, and my Deep Aqua Mirror appeared before me, I grasped its handle. I quickly opened a window and jumped over to Haruka's condo roof, landing next to Uranus.
"You're ok, Uranus." I siad gratefully.
"Neptune." Uranus greeted. Pluto then landed in front of us. "Pluto."
"Well, this is certainly a surprise." The Death Buster commented. "I didn't realise you were Sailor Guardians…but this is perfect, now I can kill three birds with one stone! I am Cyprin, level triple nine! No one escapes my magic!" Cyprin floated upwards, blue balls forming in her hands before becoming one large ball above her head. "I am the strongest Mugen Witch Training professional! Ribbon Buster!" Cyprin shot a large beam of blue energy towards us, though we managed to dodge out of the way. Cyprin started shooting multiple balls of her magic at us, Uranus was hit first.
"Uranus!" I cried, my focus falling for a second, but then I was hit, and I was thrown to the ground. I pushed myself to my knees, only to see Pluto hitting the roof in front of me.
"Ribbon Buster!" Cyprin shot another attack towards us.
"Mars Snake Fire!" A voice shouted, breaking the attack and making Cyprin fly out of the way of the flames. I stood, helping Pluto up as we turned to the Inner Scouts.
"What are you doing?" Uranus demanded. "Why are you here!? Beat it!"
"Oh no you don't!" Cyprin said, raising a staff. A black ring of dark energy wrapped around Uranus, Pluto and I. I struggled against it, but then a fog appeared around us…and my mind went blank. I was vaguely aware of words coming out of my mouth.
"So, it would seem you girls are eager to die." I mused. But it's not what I wanted to say. I wasn't in control of my actions, and I attacked the Inner Guardians. Would this be the end of the Sailor Guardians…?
