The New Pokémon 4 Chapter 20 Recruit

(Meanwhile, Delphox was walking down a Narrow Aisleway with a plan in mind to save her Wooloo. While Riolu sadly walked behind her, feeling Guilty for Toxicroak taking her Wooloo from her. Then they make it to the Stores Aisles and sneak off running in the direction of their destination. They find a secret door masquerading as a wall of boxes. Then Riolu asks).

Riolu: What are we doin'? (Delphox quickly shushes him to avoid drawing attention to themselves).

Delphox: Shh! Just stand there and be quiet! (Riolu moves to stand off to the side, while Delphox knocks on the door in a certain pattern. Before turning to Riolu again), I will do the talkin'. (Suddenly the Box door opens and a Cubchoo smiles at seeing Delphox here as she greets him). Hi Cubchoo! (Cubchoo happily waves to her). Aw, nice to see you, too. (Cubchoo glances over at Riolu as if to question him). Yes, he is with me, my friend. (They walk inside to see a party full of Pokémon going on). No, no, no. He is my accessory. (Delphox walks off to see her friends around). Hey, guys.

Pokémon: Delphox!

Delphox: Long time no see. (In a Small Swimming Pool near the wall is a Magikarp).

Magikarp: Could not take it out there, huh?

Delphox: Hey, Magikarp. Saw your swimming better in front of the store.

Magikarp: Yes, you mess with the cat, you get the claws.

Pokémon #1: Delphox came back!

Pokémon #2: Magic 8-Ball was right! (Riolu tries to follow Delphox through the crowd of Pokémon).

Riolu: Excuse me. Sorry.

Rufflet: What are you doing here? I thought the store had no return policy! (Then one of the Pokémon approaches Delphox).

Porygon2: Delphox, help me out, I need an Upgrade. Upgrade… Upgrade… (Then Riolu approaches them to offer something).

Riolu: I got a Dubious Disc if that will help.

Delphox: Agreed. (Remembering, why they are here she goes to leave the Pokémon behind).

Porygon2: Help, help, help, help, help.

Delphox: Cheater.

Porygon2: Upgrade. (She approaches a Pokémon sitting at a table and asks it).

Delphox: Have you seen him? (The Pokémon knows who Delphox is asking about and answers her).

Pokémon: He is in the back. (The Pokémon gestures to where they can find the Pokémon they are looking for).

(In the Back, a Pokémon walks out of the shadows and puts on a Confident Smile, as he asks himself).

Pokémon: Look who helped a Charismatic Unovian become Champion with my Speed and Momentum. (Then the Pokémon approaches both Delphox and Riolu).

Delphox: Hi, Bouffalant! (Bouffalant takes notice of Riolu and asks).

Bouffalant: Who is the Aura Knight?

Delphox: Bouffalant, meet Riolu. Riolu, meet... (Before Delphox can formerly introduce Riolu to Bouffalant he does it for her).

Bouffalant: Bouffalant. Unova's greatest stuntman. (Bouffalant begins to show off his Physique to Riolu). Ha! Oh, yes! Ha! Ha! Yes!

Riolu: Huh?

Delphox: He is posing. (After having seen enough, Delphox gets his attention). Bouffalant? Bouffalant, we need to...

Bouffalant: Hold on. One more. Oh, yes! What brings you back, Delphox?

Delphox: We need your help. Teddiursa has his Pokémon and my flock. (Bouffalant knows this situation is not a pleasant one getting worried instantly).

Bouffalant: No. Kathy, Annie, and Lansbury? Those are my girls. (Riolu rolls his eyes at this). What were you doin' doing business with Teddiursa? You know better. (Delphox then Sarcastically tells Bouffalant exactly what Riolu knew was going to come up).

Delphox: Yes, a Pokémon thought it would be an innovative idea to wander into the aisle. (Riolu knows she is talking about him).

Bouffalant: That does not make any sense.

Delphox: It does not, does it?

Bouffalant: Everybody knows the best route is behind the shelves.

Delphox: That would have been a better route, wouldn't it?

Bouffalant: Wow, this Pokémon sounds like a complete idiot. (Riolu knows they are indeed talking about him right to his face).

Delphox: He does!

Riolu: Ohhh… (Riolu sighs knowing this. Bouffalant catches this exhale from Riolu and pieces it together).

Bouffalant: Wait, are you that Pokémon? (Not even bothering to answer the question, Riolu sends a bored look to him. As Delphox explains her plan to him).

Delphox: So, here is the plan. We need to jump over the aisle to Teddiursa's cabinet. And you are the Pokémon to do it. (Bouffalant smiles and responds to her request).

Bouffalant: No.

Delphox: Bouffalant.

Bouffalant: Nope.

Delphox: Bouffalant?

Bouffalant: Nuh-uh.

Delphox: Bouffalant?

Bouffalant: No way! (At this point, Bouffalant turns away from Delphox and Riolu).

Delphox: Bouffalant.

Bouffalant: Pass.

Delphox: Bouffalant!

Bouffalant: Negative.

Delphox: Bouffalant.

Bouffalant: Rejected. (Riolu is frankly getting tired of all this nonsense and takes it upon himself to beg for Bouffalant's help).

Riolu: Oh, please, Mr. Bouffalant, this is enormously important, my kid... (In a Panic, Delphox covers Riolu's mouth, hoping that Bouffalant did not hear that. But he did as he turned around to ask).

Bouffalant: Do you have a kid? (Delphox tries to salvage this before the inevitable happens, laughing nervously before asking him).

Delphox: Uh... Hey, Bouffalant, show us some more poses, what do you say? (But he ignores her request as the words Riolu said seem to affect him).

Bouffalant: I had a kid. (Delphox knows what is about to happen, dreading it).

Delphox: Oh no.

Bouffalant: Benga. The Grandson. Benga was so excited when he got me after Christmas.

(Bouffalant flashes back to a Christmas where Benga received his Bouffalant's Pokéball from his Champion Grandfather. Benga did not hesitate for even a second to open the Pokéball with Bouffalant in it. Then happily embracing him in a loving hug that Bouffalant reciprocated).

Bouffalant: It was the happiest Boxing Day of my life. (Then Later on, Benga and Bouffalant are watching a replay of one of Benga's Champion Grandfather's Recent Battles).

TV Announcer: That's Bouffalant, folks! Taking Down yet another Opponent with its Famous Head Charge Attack and Scoring another Victory! Bouffalant! (Benga decides to try and see just how Powerful he and Bouffalant could be as a Team. Benga took him to battle at the White Treehollow. At one point they were in the middle of a Heated battle with a Trainer named, Nate. Both Trainers were down to their Last Pokémon, and Bouffalant was Benga's Last Pokémon. Bouffalant's opponent was an Emboar and both Pokémon were low on strength on the verge of defeat. Benga nevertheless had Bouffalant try to defeat Emboar with one last Head Charge).

Bouffalant: I am ready to finally do what my species aims to do.

Kid on TV: Bouffalant!

Bouffalant: But when Benga saw me lie, defeated on the ground after taking Emboar's Heat Crash Attack, he was never the same again. He lost all faith in me... (After the Battle, Bouffalant recovered from his battle injuries. Benga took Bouffalant back to his grandfather who held onto him understandingly until Alder permanently retired from being Champion and Bouffalant through a series of events, it dares to not think about, eventually ended up here in this store).

(Back in the Present, Bouffalant is still reeling from the event. Still hurting from it).

Bouffalant: ... It is a Replay from years ago! It is Old Footage! Benga. Benga threw me away! It is not fair! (Bouffalant began to get very emotional as the memory flashbacks ended). Why, Benga? Why? (Bouffalant began crying at this point as Delphox tried to calm him down).

Delphox: Okay, okay. Calm down, Bouffalant. That was a long time ago. (Bouffalant is still crying his eyes out). Right now, we need the only Pokémon who can crash us into Teddiursa's cabinet. (Riolu hears and gets worried about the implications of it).

Riolu: Crash? (Bouffalant hears this and stops crying though tears are still falling down his cheeks).

Bouffalant: Crash? (Delphox keeps encouraging and complimenting Bouffalant to cheer him up).

Delphox: Any Bouffalant Pokémon can land, but you are the only one that can crash the way you do.

Bouffalant: I am? (Bouffalant is beginning to feel a little better now).

Delphox: Yes! Forget Benga. Forget your Replay. Be the Bouffalant you are right now. The one who jumps and crashes! (Bouffalant begins to process her words and his sadness begins to dissipate in favor of hope and a little bit of excitement).

Bouffalant: Be who I am right now.

Delphox: Who is the Unovian with all the Unova?

Bouffalant: Bouffalant? (Bouffalant is gradually feeling better at these reminders of himself).

Delphox: Who is the greatest of the Unova Champion Pokémon? (Bouffalant smiles a bit as his confidence is coming back).

Bouffalant: Bouffalant! (Delphox Says Loudly to Boost Bouffalant's Confidence to the Max).

Delphox: Who is the most spectacular Champion Level Pokémon Unova has ever seen? (Bouffalant says full of Confidence and Spirit).

Bouffalant: Bouffalant! (Knowing his Confidence is back, she asks him the Question she knows he will give the right answer too).

Delphox: Can you do the jump?

Bouffalant: Yes, I Unova! (Bouffalant roars Proudly and Confidently before showing off his Physique again). Ha. Uh-huh. Ha!

Delphox: We have our ride.

Bouffalant: Yes! (Riolu smiles at Delphox, feeling confident about this idea of hers).

Riolu: I have a good feeling about this. (Then Fennekin arrives and hops on Delphox's Shoulder).

Fennekin: Yo, Delphox!

Delphox: Fennekin! You made it! (Fennekin gestures to Delphox and Riolu to turn around. When they do, they see that Beheeyem has arrived with Raboot, and Ducklett. Best of all, Beheeyem had the Key in Hand). Excellent work!

Riolu: How would you get it?

(Flashback to when Beheeyem, Raboot, and Ducklett were debating amongst themselves on how to get the key from Anela).

Beheeyem: How do we get that key? (Beheeyem sees that Anela is coming their way and hides as does Ducklett and Raboot. She unknowingly places the keys on a small plate in front of them while humming to herself).

(Back in the present, Beheeyem, Raboot, and Ducklett finish their tail).

Raboot: It was hard.

Beheeyem: Exceedingly difficult.

Ducklett: Barely made it out alive.

Raboot: Yes.

Ducklett: So, you're welcome.

Delphox: Okay. Let us do this. (With the key in hand, and Bouffalant's help, they were to save Porygon from Teddiursa and Toxicroak).
