1 Year Later After Saying Goodbye to Ash, Riolu, Beheeyem, and the rest of the gang go on a road trip with Shannon and a new Pokémon. This turns into a surprise reunion as it leads Riolu to his long-lost friend. As Riolu and his Friend discuss the past, they soon realize that they are worlds apart when it comes to what they want from life as a Pokémon Find Out in The New Pokémon 4

21. Chapter 21 Coming Together

The New Pokémon 4 Chapter 21 Coming Together

(Later, Anela is with the same customer earlier).

Anela: Let me wrap that up for you. Do Not want anything to happen to it on the way home. (They walk past a table where the group is hiding).

Delphox: Good. That sale buys us a little time. (Riolu is about to walk out into the open, when Delphox stops him as she spots one of Teddiursa's Toxicroak minions). Wait for it. (The Toxicroak looks away from their direction). All right let us go! (They head out to begin their Mission to save Porygon and Delphox's Wooloo. Delphox and Riolu run under a Table and Delphox looks up and sees an old Film Projector settled on a Cabinet shelf. Then Delphox signals to the others to go in the direction of the Film Projector. Delphox begins to climb up to the Film Projector skillfully as Riolu tries to follow her. Then Delphox uses Psychic to lift Riolu up to her. Then Delphox and Riolu look over the edge to see Beheeyem, Ducklett, Raboot, and Bouffalant walking on the ground beneath them. Bouffalant looks up and sees them before nodding at them. Delphox nods back at him and runs off with Riolu right behind her. The two of them reach the Film Projector. They begin turning the Take-Up Reel to lower the film Strip to the ground, then Beheeyem begins carefully tying the Film Strip around a Ramp for Bouffalant before they had to stop suddenly when another customer walked behind. Luckily, the customer did not notice any of them one bit. Once the customer was gone, Delphox and Riolu resumed pulling the Ramp up with the Film Strip as Riolu asks Delphox).

Riolu: So, how long were you here?

Delphox: I Do Not know. Couple years. I did not wanna sit on a shelf waiting for my life to happen. So, I left. (Riolu is still frankly impressed that Delphox lasted as long as she did without a Trainer).

Riolu: Wow. You have managed this lost Pokémon life better than I could. (Riolu's sincerity is touching to Delphox as she smiles at him saying).

Delphox: Aw, Riolu. You are selling yourself short. (They Pull the Ramp up to them with a little bit of Difficulty). I think you would make a great lost Pokémon. (But Riolu finds Delphox's Nonchalance about being a trainers Pokémon to be perplexing to him, as he asks her another question).

Riolu: Do you really think you will never be in a kid's room again, huh?

Delphox: Nope. And now with the carnival travelin' through, it is our chance to hop for a ride and leave town. (Riolu finds this shocking that soon he will lose his Long-Lost Friend again, only this time it is for good, forever, permanently, never again).

Riolu: Y-You are leavin'?

Delphox: Sure am. (Delphox then feels the need to ask Riolu an equally important question to him). Do you ever think about getting out there, seeing the world?

Riolu: Without a kid? (Riolu laughs a bit at this as he helps push the Ramp with Delphox's help to where they need it to go). No. You cannot teach this old Pokémon new tricks.

Delphox: You would be surprised. (She holds her hand out for Riolu's hand, which he takes without a doubt). So, how would you end up in this store in the first place? (Riolu gets nervous about this as he tells her).

Riolu: Well, I-I, uh, saw your lamp in the window and I thought, well, Hopefully, uh, likely you were inside... and so I, uh, I... (Riolu turns around to see all the beautiful Chandeliers hanging from the ceiling). Wow.

Delphox: Yes. (The Chandeliers are all sparkly and shining).

Riolu: Will you look at that?

Delphox: This is the only part of the store I ever liked. (After a moment, Riolu looks over at Delphox and she looks around the store, nostalgically before she remembers what they are going to do). That's gonna be quite a jump for you and Bouffalant. (Riolu misses what Delphox meant due to the sights distracting him...)

Riolu: Hm. (... Until Delphox's words sink in and realizes what she said). For me? (Riolu looks over and sees a Massive Gap between the Cabinet and the Drawers where Porygon and Wooloo are).

Delphox: Didn't I tell you? You are going with him. (Riolu panics a bit at this).

Riolu: I am? (Moments later, the Ramp is set up and Bouffalant is there).

Bouffalant: Let us Bouffalant. (Beheeyem, Ducklett, Raboot, Riolu, and Delphox surround him to cheer him on, only Riolu was apprehensive about it).

Delphox: It will be fine, Bouffalant's the best.

Riolu: Yes, at crashin'.

(Meanwhile, Anela walks by the Cabinet while Perrserker is sleeping nearby. From a High Shelf, Fennekin watches her, and knows the time is now).

Fennekin: And now! (Fennekin jumps at a String to a Clock with a Glowing Ring Light around when Delphox sees this Signal she turns to the others and tells them).

Delphox: Go! (Ducklett jumps on a Switch activating a Speed Track that Bouffalant uses to boost its Speed as Races down the Ramp with Riolu on its Back).

Riolu: Whoa! (They Both begin Racing down the Ramp to the Cabinet to Save Porygon).
