TW: Thank you.

THWA: Thank you.

The battle continued around the Statue of Liberty, Daleks shooting lasers at the heroes. Merlin's eyes flashed gold and the lasers returned to the Daleks, destroying them as the Daleks fell on their sides.

"Where is The Doctor?" one of them asked before it exploded.

Still in the grassy plain he had awakened on, The Doctor sat cross-legged, eyes closed as The Phoenix watched silently. The Doctor opened his eyes, which flashed orange for a moment before returning to their normal brown.

"Do you understand now?" The Phoenix asked and The Doctor nodded.

"I understand everything now. I know what I must do," The Doctor said his voice firm.

"Everything you have done since the day you stole your TARDIS has prepared you for this moment. Every life in the multiverse now depends on you," The Phoenix told him.

"I know," The Doctor said as he got to his feet, his eyes flashing orange once more. "I know what I have to do."

Derek roared as he tackled an Orc. The Orc, however, easily sent Derek flying on his back with a punch to Derek's abdomen. Derek landed on the ground, groaning in pain as the Orc raised an axe. But just as it tried to strike Derek with it, he rolled out of the way and jumped up, slashing at the Orc's face. The Orc howled, holding its face as its blood ran down from where Derek's claws had slashed its face.

Scott roared, ripping the top off a Dalek. Throwing the domed top to the ground, Scott stepped back before the Dalek's mutated form jumped out.

Before it could do anything, a shot rang out and it landed harmlessly on the ground, oozy blood leaking from the squid like creature. Scott looked up as Jack lowered his gun, the two exchanging a nod.

Wanda roared angrily as she shot blast after blast of energy at Merlin. Merlin, however, merely raised his hand, his eyes glowing gold as the red energy faded. Wanda was pleased to note that he looked more tired each time he did this.

"Wanda, this needs to stop. You're not yourself," Merlin tried to reason.

"I'm more myself than I ever have been," Wanda said menacingly. "You will not stop me."

Wanda shot another blast of energy at Merlin but this time, Merlin wasn't able to completely block it and was sent flying on his back. Wanda began approaching him when Strange's cape flew over, wrapping itself around her head. Wanda tried to force her way out of the cape when Strange suddenly appeared behind her. Strange made a motion with his hand and something seemed to change around them. What seemed to be a shard of glass blocked Wanda in before the cape released Wanda and draped itself around his shoulders.

"Where are we? What did you do?" Wanda demanded as she looked around wildly, seeing Merlin and the other combatants were gone.

"It's called the Mirror Dimension. Here, we can fight to the best of our abilities without anyone else getting hurt," Strange said, summoning two Tao Mandalas. "I don't know what's wrong with you Wanda, so there's only way to give you peace. The only thing I can give you…is death."

"You think you can?" Wanda asked amused.

"I can't allow you to threaten the multiverse. I can't save you, but I will stop you," Strange said, his eyes filled with regret before hardening. "It ends now Wanda."

"Funny, I was about to say the same to you," Wanda said with a wicked laugh.

No more words were spoken. Wanda shot out a blast of energy at Strange but Strange raised a hand and a mirror appeared in front of him, blocking the energy and deflecting it back at Wanda. Wanda dodged the strike but Strange lunged at her, moving to strike her with one of his Tao Mandalas.

On top of the Statue, the Spider-Men assembled at the head as they stared at Max, whose entire body seemed to be glowing with electricity.

"How do we stop him?" Peter-2 asked.

"I've never seen him this powerful," Peter-3 said to their alarm.

"It's the arc reactor, we gotta get it off him," Peter explained, which Max overheard.

"You're not gonna take this away from me," Max said confidently and Peter tried to web the Arc Reactor only for Max to easily yank it off. "That's not gonna work!"

Max then fired a huge bolt of electricity at the Spider-Men. They dodged, landing on some nearby rails.

"Okay, we gotta do this up close. Peter-Two, go right. Peter-Three, go left. On me!" Peter ordered.

Peter-2 and Peter-3 fired at Max, restraining his arms but Max was easily able to break free by shocking the webbings. As Peter tried to jump on him, Max shot him with a powerful bolt of electricity that sent him flying. Peter-2 then tried to jump Max only for Max to effortlessly strike him with a bolt. Peter-3 then leapt forward only for Max to strike him as well. Peter-3 cried out in pain, held in place by the electricity.

With a battle cry, Gimli rushed Glory, attempting to strike her with his axe. He did so but, to his surprise, his weapon didn't even penetrate her skin.

"Huh. I almost felt that. Oh well," Glory shrugged.

Wordlessly, Glory knocked the axe out of Gimli's hand and wrapped her hand around his throat. As Gimli gasped for breath, Glory tightened her grip, trying to crush his throat when-

"Teleport."

Glory stared stupefied as Gimli vanished, leaving only her hand. Looking up, she saw Willow standing a few feet away, Gimli standing by her side, gasping for breath.

"Thank you, my lady," Gimli said, his breathing ragged.

"Don't mention it Gimli," Willow said with a smile, handing him his axe. "She and I have unfinished business. Why don't you go deal with some of those Orcs over there?"

"Don't mind if I do!" Gimli declared, narrowing his eyes at seeing Legolas already engaging a few. "You won't be killing more than me, elf!"

As Gimli ran off to join Legolas, Willow turned back to face Glory, her expression growing frosty.

"Glory," Willow said and Glory smirked at her.

"It's the lover. You know, that little blond thing of yours, her mind was delicious," Glory laughed sadistically as Willow's eyes darkened.

Silently, Willow raised a hard and a blast of energy came out, surrounding Glory. Glory tried to break out of the web of energy but, to her disbelief, she was unable to do so as it wrapped around her like a strait jacket.

"That'll keep you contained long enough for us to send you back. You're not as all powerful as you think you are," Willow said coolly.

Scott broke off another Dalek's eyestalk before kicking it, sending it flying back. As it hit the ground, Scott heard someone behind him. Turning around, he saw Kate standing behind him, holding a loaded shotgun.

"Hey handsome," Kate quipped and he stared at her blankly.

"You really think this is gonna work anymore than it did last time? Kate, you've been trying to kill me almost since the day we met. And I'm still standing," Scott said coldly.

"Not for much longer," Kate said confidently before opening fire.

Peter groaned as he came to only to hear a roar. Looking down, he saw with alarm that Connors had arrived and was rushing onto the rails along with several Orcs.

"No no no!" Peter said in alarm.

Peter-3 dropped the cure and, as it landed on the metal platform blow, Peter-2 webbed it to him only for a metal tentacle to grab him by the throat. A second tentacle grabbed Peter-3 as Octavius appeared over Max's shoulder.

"Leave them. They're mine," Octavius said coldly.

"I don't need your help. I've got it just fine," Max said annoyed.

"Dr. Octavius, no," Peter-2 groaned in dismay.

Suddenly, a third tentacle latched onto Max's chest, to the shock of all three of them.

"What are you doing?! Get it off me!" Max demanded.

Silently, Octavius released the two Spider-Men and turned around to face Max. He picked up the cure with the fourth tentacle as the tentacle on Max's chest removed the Arc Reactor. Octavius then placed the cure on Max's chest and the device glowed before all the slots flashed green. The electricity vanished from Max's body.

"There you go," Octavius said with a pleased smile.

Connors led the Orcs up the rails and onto the statue when Peter jumped down, blocking their paths.

"You're not gonna hurt anyone else!" Peter declared.

Their response was to snarl at him. Peter braced himself for a fight when, inexplicably, they were all shoved back by an invisible force. Peter stared stupefied before turning around, seeing Morgana standing behind him.

"Uh, thanks," Peter said awkwardly.

"Don't thank me yet," Morgana said, a sword materializing in her hand. "It's not over."

Peter nodded, turning back as Connors and the Orcs rushed them.

Down below, Arthur swung Excalibur, getting an Orc, who wailed in pain before falling to the ground, dead.

"Impressive. Most impressive."

Arthur whirled around, seeing Sauron standing behind him. Arthur couldn't help the shudder that racked through him, there was just something about the monstrous man that caused him dread.

"That weapon of yours, it kills my Orcs with one cut," Sauron noted, sounding fascinated.

"Come see it up close," Arthur said stonily, raising Excalibur towards Sauron and Sauron laughed, a sound that chilled Arthur to the bone.

"Confident, aren't you little king? The Great Intelligence has told me quite a bit about you. Your exploits are legendary throughout the multiverse, Arthur Pendragon," Sauron said as he approached Arthur, raising his own sword. "You have faced many enemies. It shall be my honor to be the last."

The two then rushed each other, clashing their swords against one another.

Scott kicked the gun out of Kate's hand, and she snarled angrily, shifting and trying to claw Scott's face off but Scott dodged, grabbing her by the arm and throwing her a few feet away. Kate landed on her feet, looking up and sneering at Scott.

"You're doing better than you did last time we fought," Kata noted maliciously.

"I'm not that same stupid kid who you kidnapped," Scott said coolly. "I'm not a killer, but that doesn't mean I won't stop you."

"You think you can?" Kate asked arrogantly.

"He can't," Kate was startled, looking over her shoulder to see Derek. "But I can."

Before Kate could say a word, Derek had struck her and sent flying. She crumbled to the ground a few feet away as Derek glanced over at Scott.

"I'll deal with her, go. You know what the priority is," Derek pointed out.

Scott nodded, remembering. Quickly scanning the battlefield, Scott spotted Void Stiles away from the all the chaos, smiling in a twisted, pleased sort of way.

Filled with anger at seeing such a look on his best friend's face, Scott began rushing through the battlefield, determined to reach the monster who had taken on Stiles's form.

"Looks like it's just you and me now lover," Kate said mockingly as she got to her feet.

Derek merely eyed her angrily, feeling the familiar feeling of rage and hate well up within him. Kate had taken so much from him: his family, his innocence, even his home. It was time to finally end it.

With those thoughts in mind, Derek shifted, his eyes glowing blue as he roared. Sensing Derek was serious, Kate shifted as well, snarling at Derek before they rushed each other.

Logan roared, using his claws to cut off the top of a Dalek before whirling around, using them to behead an Orc who was trying to sneak up behind him.

"Sorry bub, but I've killed things a lot uglier than you," Logan grumbled as he yanked his claws out.

Less than a second later, Logan realized he couldn't move before Magneto stepped into view.

"You just don't give up, do you?" Magneto noted, slightly impressed by Logan's resilience.

"Like I said, I'm a survivor," Logan said, wondering how to reach him. "Erik, this has to stop."

"I agree. And it will end when you and your friends are dead," Magneto said, his eyes growing ice cold. "You should have left when you had the chance Logan."

With a pushing motion from Magneto, Logan was sent flying, crashing into some nearby metal that quickly wrapped itself around him. He was trapped, unable to move or cut himself out.

"Can't you like, send them through a portal or something?!" Peter asked, using his webbings to trap some of the Orcs.

"This isn't like a story! I'm not all powerful!" Morgana shouted back as she used her sword to cut an Orc. "Do you have a plan?"

"If you can deal with the Orcs, I can cure the lizard guy!" Peter shouted as the Orcs broke free off his webbing.

As Connors and the Orcs rushed the pair, Morgana was preparing to use her magic to send them all flying back when a shot rang out, a bullet bouncing off the armor of an Orc.

They all stopped, turning around to see Jack holding a gun, looking out of breath and worse for wear.

"I have a better idea. How many Orcs does it take to defeat one dying human? Bet none of you can do it," Jack taunted them. "But what else should I expect from mindless foot soldiers, designed only to die in Sauron's war?

This seemed to do the trick, as the enraged Orcs rushed towards Jack. But Jack rolled off the platform, landing on a lower level. Getting up, Jack began running as fast as he could while the Orcs rushed after their new prey.

"Max?" Peter-2 called out, cautiously approaching Max after Octavius let him go. "Max?"

"Don't worry. I'm all tapped out," Max said, feeling defeated.

"You sure about that?" Peter-3 asked as Max went down to his knees.

"Back to being a nobody," Max said miserably.

"You were never a nobody Max," Peter-3 quickly assured him as he knelt down in front of him.

"Oh yes I was. Yes I was. You didn't see me," Max said before laughing. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure," Peter-3 agreed.

You got a nice face. You just a kid," Max said and Peter-3 shrugged. "You from Queens. You got that suit. You help a lot of poor people. I just thought you was gonna be black."

"Oh man, I'm sorry," Peter-3 said feeling bad.

"No man, don't apologize. There's gotta be a black Spider-Man somewhere out there," Max noted.

Peter-3 nodded. There was a young Merlin and King Arthur, so chances were there probably was a black Spider-Man.

"God damn eels," Max sighed as Peter-3 offered him a hand up, which he accepted.

Octavius was examining the Arc Reactor he had taken from Max curiously, examining it.

"The power of the sun," he muttered.

"In the palm of your hand," Octavius looked up as Peter-2 jumped down, landing a few feet away.

"Peter?" Octavius called out and Peter-2 pulled off his mask.

"Otto," Peter-2 said with a smile.

"Oh, it's good to see you, dear boy," Octavius said with a warm smile.

"It's good to see you," Peter-2 said as he approached him.

"You're all grown up," Octavius said with a laugh. "How are you?"

"Trying to do better," Peter-2 said as they smiled at each other.

Connors snarled at Peter as he rushed towards him but Morgana raised a hand, her eyes flashing gold. Within an inch of Peter, Connors froze, unable to move as he continued snarling at them.

"You can't keep this up!" Connors snarled.

"He's right. I can't hold him forever!" Morgana warned him.

"Don't have to," Peter said as he pulled out the cure. "Sorry Dr. Connors, but this is for your own good!"

The moment Connors broke free of Morgana's magic; he tried to take a bite out of Peter only for Peter to place the cure in his mouth. As Connors bit down on it, he activated the cure, releasing the gas. Peter and Morgana stepped back and watched as the lizard was slowly chipped away, revealing the man underneath.

"Welcome back, sir."

Void Stiles watched the battlefield, pleased at all the chaos when he heard a thud land a few feet away. Void Stiles turned, unsurprised to see Scott.

"Hello Scott. You're looking angry," Void Stiles said with a twisted smirk.

"You know I am," Scott said stiffly. "It's time to end this."

"Come on Scott, we both know you're not gonna kill me. It's not in you, you're not a killer," Void Stiles mocked him.

"You're right, I'm not. But that doesn't mean I won't stop you," Scott said, his eyes growing darker.

"You're gonna have to get passed them first Scottie," Void Stiles said his smirk never leaving his face.

Barely had the words left the mouth of the fox spirit before the two Oni appeared in front of him, standing between Scott and Void Stiles. Scott stared at them stonily before setting his shoulders, his eyes flashing red.

"You wanna stop me? Then let's go," Scott almost snarled.

Scott roared as the Oni swung their swords, the three rushing each other as they prepared to battle.

Out of breath, Jack led the Orcs towards the edge of the platform, knowing he had nowhere to go. But neither did they.

"Nowhere to run, meat," one of the Orcs snarled as they boxed him in.

"I know," Jack said breathlessly as he pulled something out from his jacket.

It was a detonator, one made from the power source of a Sontaran blaster. He carried it with him for situations exactly like this.

"I always told The Doctor I was better off as a coward. I was right," Jack said breathlessly before activating the bomb.

The statue was then rocked by the resulting exploding. The shield fell from the statue, smashing through the metal as the statue rocked. It nearly sliced Peter and Morgana on the way down, just narrowing missing them. Unfortunately, the rocking caused Morgana to lose her balance and fall.

"No!" Peter shouted as he jumped after her.

"Can the Spider-Man come out to play?!"

From on top the statue, Peter-2 looked up sharply as the Green Goblin flew in, slamming into Peter and preventing him from grabbing Morgana.

"No!" Arthur shouted, pausing in his duel with Sauron as he saw this.

Sauron took advantage, striking Arthur in the abdomen, sending Arthur falling to the ground and causing Excalibur to falling from his hands, clattering to the ground.

"You are doomed, little king. As is your sister," Sauron told him mockingly.

Merlin, seeing Morgana falling, tried to use his magic to save her only to get tackled to the ground by an Orc, breaking his focus.

"NO!"

Peter-3, seeing Morgana falling and remembering his own failure to save Gwen, jumped after her.

Sailing through the air, Peter-3 reached Morgana in seconds, wrapping his arms around her before firing a web upwards. It attached itself to the statue and Peter-3 used it to swing them both to safety, landing with Morgana in his arms, bridal style.

He couldn't save Gwen, but he'd been able to save Morgana. Didn't that count for something?

A voice in the back of his head that sounded like Gwen told him it counted for everything.

"Are you okay?" Peter asked, his voice choked as some tears fells.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Morgana said in relief before noticing Peter-3 was crying. "Are you?"

Unable to form words, Peter-3 nodded with a sad smile.

Still up on the statue, the Orcs were all dead. Jack, his body badly burned, used his arm to drag himself away from the ledge. Seeing the Orcs all dead, Jack allowed himself to feel that he'd helped his allies.

"Uncle Jack!"

Jack painfully lifted his head, seeing Steven standing before him, holding out a hand. Not sure whether he was hallucinating and honestly not caring, Jack tried to reach out and grab it before it fell lifelessly to the metal platform, the life leaving his eyes.

An insanely difficult chapter to write with trying to balance everything out, but I do hope you guys enjoyed it.

There's still a lot more to come next chapter, so buckle up.

Peter-3 still got his redemption with saving Morgana. It might not be as strong as it was in canon, and it actually wasn't even supposed to be Morgana. It was actually supposed to be Willow but I couldn't figure out a way to get her on the statue so I just went with Morgana. Hope you all enjoyed it anyway.

To address the elephant in the room, did I just kill off Jack Harkness? You never know with Jack, so you have to keep reading.
