Month Nine

Luz was at an opening in the woods, where the Owl House used to be. Today was the anniversary of King, Eda, and Hooty's... "passing". Luz placed down a flower and sat there for a few minutes, trying to think of what to say.

"…Hey, guys. It's me again." Luz said as she rubbed the back of her head, "I, uh... I know it's been a while since I've come here. But, I have some good news... Boscha's pregnant. I'm going to be a mom."

Luz could only chuckle as she imagined everyone's reaction, screaming and dropping their jaws to Luz.

"Yeah, it's big news, I know. And we've already got names for them, we're pretty sure they're girls too. Azura, Lilith, and…..Edalyn." Luz said as she began crying a bit, wiping her eyes, "I... I wish you were here. I... I don't know how I lasted this long without you. I... I miss you guys, everyday."

Luz thought back to all of the times they had before their deaths, before Lilith's death, before the Monado itself.

"Sometimes I think….maybe none of this would've happened if I never found the Monado…..but then I think that if I didn't, I wouldn't have two of the most wonderful women in my life that love me." Luz said with a small smile.

"I guess... this was just meant to be." Luz said, "I just hope I can see you again one day."

Using her metal arm, Luz used ice magic to create a sculpture of herself, Amity, Boscha, Eda, King, Hooty, and Lilith together like a family. She set it down before creating a band shell from vines and ice to keep it cool.

"I know this won't last but still, I hope you guys like it." Luz said.

Luz wiped tears away, before she got a call on her scroll. She pulled it out and answered it, seeing Amity with a panicked expression.

"LUZ! IT'S HAPPENING!" She shouted.

"WHAT!? NOW!?" Luz said in shock.

"Yes! Now get your ass over here or I'll turn you into a diaper for one of the triplets!" Amity said, hanging up.

"Her threats aren't as good as Boscha's."

Luz quickly got up and turned to the statue she made for her friends.

"Sorry, but I have to go. But I will come back more often." Luz said before summoning her staff and rushing to the healing center.

She landed and rushed inside, finding Amity pretty quickly.

"Where is she?!" Luz asked her.

"Delivery room, let's go." Amity said as she grabbed Luz's metal arm and dragged her down the hall. "Boscha's gonna need your metal hand."

"She's probably going to crush it." Luz said.

"Yeah, I know but you won't feel a thing. And Boscha can make you another one." Amity said as they reached the delivery room. "Brace yourself, this could be loud."

Luz gave a thumbs up and made planet ear plugs, sticking them in her ears.

"Ready." Luz said, "Now... let's go."

Amity and Luz pushed the doors open, immediately hearing Boscha's screams of pain!

"WHERE ARE MY FUCKING WIVES?

Amity and Luz quickly walked over to Boscha.

"It's okay, Boscha, we're here." Luz said.

"Hand! Now!" Boscha shouted!

Luz gave Boscha her hand, which the triclops proceeded to completely crush. Luz doesn't know how she can feel pain from something that doesn't have nerves, but she did.

"This is all your fault! Both of you!" Boscha screamed at them.

"You don't mean that. You're just in a lot of pain." Amity said as she gently caressed her forehead.

"Get that hand off me before I bite it off!" Boscha screamed, "I was in the cannibalism club at school so I know how!"

Amity chuckled at this before pulling her hand away and quickly kissing Boscha's forehead.

"I know you don't mean that." Amity said as the doctor was doing their job.

"Keep pushing, Mrs. Triplet Noceda. You're doing great." They said to her.

Luz was more focused on the fact that Boscha was part of a Cannibal club.

'I dated her since I was 14 and had absolutely no idea she was part of that.'

She was only broken out of her thoughts by the sounds of three babies crying.

"Congratulations, Mrs. Triplet Noceda, you've given birth to three beautiful baby girls!" the doctor said as they pulled up, holding all three girls in their arms.

Each of the trio grabbed one of the babies.

"They're beautiful." Luz said, as she began to cry.

"Even more than we thought they'd be." Amity said as she wiped away her tears.

"Perfect." Boscha said, tired but still happy.

"I'm glad you all are happy. Have you thought of any names?" The doctor asked.

"We have." Luz said.

Luz looked down to the baby she was holding, the first born, seeing she had her skin tone and Amity's eyes.

"This one is Azura." Luz said.

Boscha looked at the baby in her hands, the second born, with her skin color, Luz's eyes, and a small patch of Amity's hair.

"This is Lilith."

Amity held a baby, the third born, with her skin tone, Luz's eyes and Boscha's... three eyes.

"This is Edalyn."

"Very well. I am happy to officially proclaim these three children as Azura Noceda-Triplet, Lilith Noceda-Triplet, and Edalyn Noceda-Triplet." The doctor said with a smile, using magic to fill out the paperwork for their birth certificates.

The three woman smiled at their babies... now the hard part begins.
