Note: Hey, there! Thank you so much for making it all the way to the end.
This story (which was supposed to be a one-shot) has become my longest fic ever and I can't believe how that happened. Words kept coming for these two boys for some reason.
In fact, I'm already writing a new Danny Tim story ("Pitch-Dark Shades") where Tim plays detective and Danny plays medium, in case you want to check that one out once it's posted (not tied to this one at all, btw)
So this is it. Thank you for coming with me on this ride. It's been lots of fun.
I know this chapter probably won't cover all the interactions you had in mind, some of which you even mentioned in comments, but this is where it felt just right for me. This won't have any follow up or sequel, but I'd be happy to answer through comments anything that wasn't answered.
Hope you enjoy it!
Chapter 11: Thrilled To Death
The visit to Amity Park was coming to an end as Tim continued learning more about Danny's past life as a hero, with anecdotes ranging from hilarious misunderstandings to dangerous threats he wouldn't mind looking into once they were back in Gotham.
Jazz arrived to FentonWorks a day after the visit to the Realms. Tim was so glad to finally meet the closest person in Danny's life. His boyfriend always talked so highly of her, about the way she took care of him when their parents were more obsessed with their work. From what Tim understood, after an accidental identity reveal, Jazz had kept a closer eye on his wellbeing and even covered for him whenever it was necessary at home. She gracefully shared with Tim all the scrapbooks she kept about Danny, a gesture full of such trust, like being let inside a very private circle of Danny's and the Fenton's life.
The day before Danny and Tim left Amity Park, the Fentons prepared a surprise BBQ in their backyard, inviting Danny's friends who were also spending a few days with their families for the summer.
Sam and Tucker were nothing like Tim would've imagined, considering they had been two civilians who didn't even don a mask or fancy equipment to help Phantom fight ghosts and ghost hunters on a daily basis. They seemed so normal on paper but so different up close.
Sam Manson, who Tim learned he had already met at a gala years ago, was intimidating in a big sister kind of way. Perhaps it was her overall protectiveness of Danny, or the way she voiced her opinions loud and clear, but Tim was happy Danny had someone like her in his corner.
Tucker, who was eating like the carnivore Danny warned him to be, hadn't stopped staring at Tim in awe since they were introduced earlier. He was an amazing hacker, from what Danny told him, which partially explained how there was so little information about Danny's life online.
As the young adults gathered in a circle in the backyard, the ongoing conversation about what Jazz, Sam, and Tucker had been up to soon drifted back towards one of the revelations they hadn't been able to fully process.
"So… Tim Drake-Wayne, huh?" Sam gave Tim a curious look, but her question had still been directed at her friend. "How could you leave his last name out of every single conversation, Danny?"
Jazz sighed and sipped on her drink. "I'm just glad Mom and Dad finally let go of their grudge against Mr. Wayne." Tim smiled in response but silently hoped Bruce didn't remember the Fentons, if he could be honest.
Tuck continued his awestruck staring, which only confirmed Danny's initial warnings about how much of a fanboy he could be. Sure, Tim didn't mind the attention, but when it was someone so close to Danny? A literal King of a whole Realm of the undead? It felt misplaced, to say the least. "I still can't believe you were able to score one of the Most Promising Minds of our Generation, according to Wired and Forbes," Tucker added.
Danny elbowed Tim playfully. "It goes to show that even the most brilliant people can also have some pretty dumb moments."
Tim rolled his eyes and smiled. He had to hand it to Danny, though: despite their story together being so deeply linked to Tim's vigilante life, not once had he let that bit of information out, going instead for the coffee shop meet-cute version of how they met, with sprinkles of his internship at WE.
"I guess some of Bruce's brain cells rubbed on me," Tim joked, hoping B wouldn't mind that he threw his public persona under the bus.
Sam then turned to Tucker. "Does that make Danny an official billionaire magnet?"
Danny hummed, as if he was really considering the possibility. "Maybe you have a point. Should I stay out of Lex Luthor's radar or do I just keep collecting rich people like Tim's dad collects kids?"
Tim shook his head. "Yeah, good luck with that piece of work," he replied with a huff. "Or you could help him turn a new leaf like your rogues did and keep him from building death rays."
"Oh! I have a better question," Tucker excitedly piped up. "Does this mean we can have access to WayneTech gossip ahead of time?"
"I might be able to share a thing or two," Tim confided, getting a wide smile from Tuck in response. "I'm always looking for a trustworthy beta tester."
If Tim felt the awe on Tucker's face was almost comical, nothing prepared him for the way he almost blue-screened in front of the young CEO. "I can't believe I might possibly beta-test for Tim Drake-Wayne."
The rest of the group laughed and Sam took the chance to lean closer. "So, rich boy, how much did Danny tell you about his whole thing?"
Jazz perked up and gave him a warm smile. "We were so relieved when Danny finally told you about being Phantom."
Oh, how would they react if the knew Tim had also been a vigilante this whole time? Or that Danny had nothing to worry about and Tim was fully capable of taking care of himself? While they had talked about revealing that information to his friends, Tim asked Danny to keep it under wraps for a while longer, since his identity could compromise everyone else's and that was not something he could decide alone.
He had already gotten enough lectures back home after he revealed his civilian name to Danny.
Tim turned to look at Danny, who just smiled sheepishly. "I think he told me everything? Way more than I expected, I think," he answered vaguely.
He still hadn't recovered from the "game" on their way back from the Ghost Zone.
Danny grabbed his hand and rubbed it with his thumb. "Oh, by the way, duckling… they were there for the most of it, if you ever want to ask them anything."
"Uh, excuse you, not everything?" Tuck exclaimed with an indignant tone. "We're just learning who your boyfriend really is. And what's this about cute pet names I'm hearing?"
Sam rolled her eyes. "Drake is also the name of a duck, Tucker," she said in a monotone voice that could rival Raven's. "But Tuck's right. It's not like we could've done much of a background check when all you gave us was a first name. Not even a photo for facial recognition or a chat to hack into—"
"Hey, I didn't want you to get into trouble for hacking him," Danny protested. "You know how paranoid billionaires who work at leading tech companies can be."
Tim couldn't help but feel proud of the nice save there. Probably Danny's way to make it up to him for revealing his last name after he had been so adamant about doing so.
Jazz put a supporting hand on Danny's shoulder. "You did well, Danny. Trust is one of the key pillars in any relationship," she said with a smile that didn't feel as friendly as she made it seem.
Danny shot her an unimpressed look. "You're never going to let me go, are you?"
Jazz's smile only grew wider. "Nope."
"I agree with Jazz, man," Tucker said and then put a protective arm around Tim. "I mean… poor, poor Tim. You were this close to messing this up."
Sam glared next to him. "Poor Tim? What side are you on? What if he goes out to blurt it out in one of his galas or something?"
Tim couldn't help but scoff at that total lack of faith. "You'd be surprised of the kind of things I can keep a secret. I mean, we do have big patents out there, you know?"
"Yeah, relax, Sam." Danny bumped Tim's shoulder. "He's not going to tell a soul."
That earned a groan from the three other Amity Parkers. "Oh, wonderful, more puns," Sam complained. "I take it back, Tuck. Poor Tim."
"I still think Dick's worse," Tim turned to tell Danny, who gave him a so-so gesture with his hand.
Danny looked at his friends and sister, and smiled with confidence. "But anyway, the point is… he's safe."
"You better be, Drake," Sam said in a low and threatening tone that reminded Tim of the demon brat for a moment.
"I am," Tim reassured them. "By the way, did he tell you how there was this huge misunderstanding with his mom at first?"
Danny rolled his eyes before he began talking in a slightly louder voice. "Oh, that was a close one! Mom thought Tim knew everything and just started making jokes and hinting at Phantom—"
"I didn't know!" Maddie's voice came from somewhere near the grill.
"Love you, Mom," Danny shouted with a chuckle.
"At least you can finally start with a clearer view of what the bigger picture is like," Jazz told the couple. "And work on making that trust stronger now. I'm proud of you for those huge steps, little brother."
Danny huffed. "Little? Seriously? I'm taller than you."
Jazz ignored her brother to give Tim a warm smile. "And I'm glad you survived our particular brand of odd, Tim. Welcome to our strange family."
Tim smiled back. "That means a lot, Jazz. I really like getting to know more about Danny's life and world." Speaking of which, a question that had been bothering him popped back into his mind. "By the way, where's Ellie?"
"Shit, I knew I forgot to mention something," Danny muttered with a haunted look on his face.
Before Tim could question him further, Jack's voice boomed from the other side of the yard, a young black woman with curly, dark hair walking by his side. "Danny? Red is here!"
Red…
The only person Jack had called 'Red' had been the other vigilante in Amity Park. The one who Danny dated back in high school. Was he really going to meet the Red Huntress?
"Make that two things…" Danny groaned into his hands, confirming his suspicions.
Tim laughed and stared at the embarrassed half-ghost by his side. "Seriously, starlight?"
If Danny was worried about how befriending an ex would look like, he probably didn't know about how Tim used to date Steph. While he wonders just how many additional secrets they will have to uncover together, a part of Tim was amused at the fact that there were still some mysteries left between them.
"Don't worry, Tim," Sam spoke before who he assumed was Valerie Gray reached their circle. "We can help you escape this family if you need to."
Tucker beamed at that. "Yeah, dude, and we can still be friends if you do."
Jazz's deadpan look was less comforting. "Don't let them fool you, Tim. I don't think you can escape even if you guys break up. Oh, hey, Val!" she greeted when the girl was finally close.
"What are you losers talking about?" Valerie asked as she took a seat next to Jazz.
Tim turned just in time to see Danny putting two fingers up in a peace-out gesture as he turned invisible. In the most literal sense. The casual use of his powers surprised Tim before he cackled at the hilarity of the situation, the group of friends laughing along and making fun of Danny in the process.
In a way, it felt like the final piece of the puzzle was in place, showing Tim a new glimpse into their future together, now that the main secrets were left out in the open.
It made Tim's heart swell with joy at how this really felt like belonging at last.
The drive out of Amity Park felt almost as bizarre as the drive into the small haunted town. Tim could recognize some of the ghosts he met during his short stay waving goodbye as the now-familiar streets were left behind. He also caught the sight of a motorcycle that had crossed their paths when they approached the town days ago. It had been Johnny then, Tim realized.
Danny had been way more relaxed driving this time around, his right hand holding Tim's as the sight of the billboards changed to the green scenery that hid the unique location from the world, the ambient ectoplasm lifting its heavy hold on them.
It was strange how many things now made sense.
"So, is there a reason only you and people living here can drive in and out of Amity Park?" Tim asked after a while. "Is it like an invisible vibe check to pass or something?"
Danny chuckled, his eyes not leaving the road. "Yeah, something like that. Let me guess… your family tried to come here when you were looking into me?"
While Danny had always been perceptive, Tim was now starting to appreciate it in a new light, with all the secrets he had to keep from the world.
"I won't confirm or deny that," Tim replied. "Although it's a bit freaky not finding any signs of Amity Park unless you take that hyper-specific hidden turn."
Tim freed his hand from Danny's once he finished reviewing the report on his laptop to hit save one last time. He knew that, once they passed the threshold that kept Amity Park almost hidden from the world, the messages and cloud updates he had missed the past week would start syncing again.
Babs or B, maybe both, would no doubt be calling soon, despite his reassurances that he was fine and they could reach Danny's phone in the meantime.
He turned to face Danny, who had reluctantly agreed to this necessary first step. "The vague report to ease B and the others into the ghost part is finally done. Plus, it explains the time I went off the grid."
Danny turned briefly to give him a concerned look. "Are you sure you want to do that? They'll definitely drag me as soon as they can track our location. Even if you didn't mention the Phantom part, yet."
Tim shook his head as he put his laptop away. "You'll be fine, spooky."
His boyfriend snorted. "That's a new one. Are you trying to fit as many ghost pet names as you can now?"
Tim considered this for a moment. "Hey, it could be worse, Great One," he joked, eliciting a groan from his companion. Tim chuckled softly as he pulled out of his backpack the glowing pages the Council gave their King. "Now, hush. I'll try to check whatever the hell's in this contract."
He still caught the way Danny rolled his eyes at him, the fond smile back on his lips.
The road continued to stretch endlessly, the mood so different from what Danny felt on his way back to Amity Park. The rows of trees were less daunting than before, leaving a warmth he wouldn't have described days ago. Maybe it was all the same, including the smells and the ambient sounds, but the weight that was now off his shoulders made a huge difference.
"You know, driving these roads is actually pretty nice," he commented to his boyfriend, who had just pulled out the royal paperwork to look through.
Sharing work? Definitely a plus side after the reveal.
"The company sure helps a lot," Tim replied with an easy smile, that made Danny's heart flutter.
If he hadn't been driving, he would allow himself to float with this lighter sensation.
"I still can't believe we already got everything out in the open," Danny said after a moment.
Tim sighed. "It's a relief, to be honest. At least now I don't have to worry about you getting mugged just because you're too stubborn to take a self-defense class."
Danny couldn't help the way he laughed loudly. "Oh, shit, you're right!" He sobered a bit and shot Tim an amused look. "And I also won't have to worry about an Observant dropping by at your apartment when we move in together." He paused for a moment, hesitating as he turned momentarily to look at Tim's reaction. "That's…If you're still up for it, of course."
Tim seemed relaxed, no change in his smile or the focus on the papers in his hands. If anything, his amusement grew. "Are you kidding, boo?" Danny snorted at the nickname as Tim turned to look at him. "Of course I still want you to move in. We'll probably just have to figure out how some things will work now. I still don't know half of your powers, for starters."
Danny caught something in his last words and paused to consider what Tim was probably trying to say between the lines. "You just want to test my limits, don't you?"
Tim grinned sheepishly and returned his focus to the contract. "Maybe?"
Danny knew Tim would be curious. It had been amazing how long he had waited to ask about his extensive list of powers after their trip to the Realms. Sure, he had given him a casual demonstration here and there, but nothing as thorough.
"I'll tell you what," Danny began. "I'll come to train with you or whatever someday. Or I can show you and anyone you want me to show off to what I can do. Fair warning… if I show you everything I can do, they'll probably be terrified and will ask you to dump me then and there."
Danny kept his sights on the road but he could practically hear the exasperated eye-roll in Tim's voice. "That's notgoing to happen, ghostie," Tim defended but soon paused to reconsider. "Ok, maybe they will try, but I don't care, you know? I'm done with people getting involved in our relationship."
On this, Danny couldn't agree more with the sentiment. There had been already so many people giving their opinions on what was good for them and what they should do or how they should handle some situations. The Bat family, his parents, his friends, the Council, the ghosts who used to beat him up when he was in high school… When did it get so out of hand?
In all honesty, Danny was ready to take a long vacation with Tim somewhere no one could reach them. Actually…
"Maybe we should get lost in some small town before we get back home," Danny proposed. "Just like we talked about at the start of this trip." Tim didn't say a word but there was a tension emanating from his side, which Danny took as a bad sign. "Or not, I'm fine with going back home if you prefer. We could—"
Tim sat up and stared at something on the contract. "Starlight, hold on…"
"What is it?" Danny asked now full of worry.
Tim shifted through the pages in his hands, as if comparing different sections of the same document. "I'm not sure you'll want to sign this," he stated bluntly.
The alarms in his head started blaring. "What? Why?" Did he need to have another chat with the Council?
"It talks about… sharing a bond for eternity? I think? It's all weirdly phrased. I'm sure part of it was translated from ghost speak," he mumbled.
So much for sharing paperwork.
"I guess I'll have to give it a look as soon as I'm not driving," Danny replied.
Tim remained silent as he read once more the contract. After a while, he let his hands and the papers drop on his lap and stared at the road ahead. The trees continued to stretch ahead. An endless loop back in place.
After a few minutes, Tim turned to face Danny and reached out to hold his hand. "Can we…just do our thing? Not what the Council or whatever says?" he asked.
Danny felt his worry fade as a new smile bloomed on his face. He squeezed Tim's hand in return. "We can do whatever you want, birdie."
"You're not, I don't know, disappointed or something?" Tim asked with hesitation in his tone.
Danny noticed a crossroad ahead and took the chance to pull over on the side of the road before they reached it. He let the lights blink in warning to anyone driving in the same path. But just like it felt like on the rooftop all those months ago, or in their own corner at the coffee shop during their first official meeting, during their trip to Amity Park, or at the empty lab under his childhood home, it was just the two of them. Alone together. All the noise gone.
He turned to face Tim, pulling both of the Gothamite's hands to his lips, allowing a comforting chill to fill their surroundings. "Birdie, we're just getting to know a new side of our relationship," Danny said softly. "I'm actually very excited to see what that will mean, or where this will lead. But maybe we said so many things these past few days, I failed to emphasize this enough: I'd rather focus on the here and now. On being with you."
The warmth in Tim's smile made Danny's icy core melt. He leaned closer to kiss Danny, the world around them lost again as the soft touch of their lips connected and refused to let go. There was only the comfort of their close embrace, the relief in the steady heartbeat under their fingers, the thrill running down their spines as they shared a single breath for a moment.
Had Tim felt the same way Danny did?
The kiss ended when Tim took some distance, his taste still lingering on Danny's lips. The intense look in Tim's eyes felt like he could stare straight into Danny's core. "Is that why you're terrible at planning? Why you never want to look ahead?" Tim asked once the smile returned to his expression.
Danny leaned forward, resting his forehead on Tim's. "'Ahead' is a long way to go, in ghost terms, you know?"
"I can live with that," Tim whispered. "Not looking into the abyss beyond this moment."
The spell broke when Danny felt his core begin to feel so full of love it might break his chest. He chuckled and turned his attention back to the road. At the two paths that were ahead.
One led to the route they had planned to head back to Gotham. The other he wasn't sure where it led, but definitely not back to Amity Park at least.
He turned to look at Tim. "So, where to now?"
Tim's grin was mischievous. "Surprise me, ghost boy."
Danny snorted and started the car again. He realized it didn't matter what direction they chose. They could find a way to make it exciting.
- - Weeks Later - -
"Birdie, out of all the places we could've gone to grab lunch, why a Bat Burger?" Danny asked curiously, trying his best not to groan at the sight of the bag containing his food. The cartoon designs of his boyfriend and his family certainly didn't do them justice.
Tim laughed as he began unwrapping his burger. They sat in a corner at one of the many restaurants this fast-food chain offered, the place so empty at this time of the day, no one would bother them.
"Hey, it's a staple of our city," Tim half-heartedly defended. "The place where goons hold improvised union meetings, where you can find a smiling Damian in the shape of a toy, and you can pass totally unnoticed by people who can't wait to go on with their lives."
Danny looked at the short line of people waiting for their order to go and had to appreciate the exactitude of Tim's assessment.
"Fine," he mumbled, taking a fry to his mouth. "So, when are your friends getting here? Never pictured a speedster or a Kryptonian being late for anything."
Tim had insisted on this outing almost as soon as they arrived to Gotham and Danny caved in at last. They were supposed to meet his friends Conner, Cassie, and Bart from the Young Justice team, who were curious about Danny's newly revealed abilities.
Danny still struggled with that shift in their dynamic. In Danny's life dynamic, even. He was so used to having only his close friends and family be aware of his Phantom side, he felt exposed in a way. Like his secret was well beyond his control.
It started with Tim and Danny telling the Bats, but then followed with an accidental reveal with Tim's friends when Danny phased into his apartment to drop off some things before moving day, forgetting Tim would be home hanging out with them.
At least everyone promised to be discreet.
But not everything about the reveal had been that bad. At least now Tim's family had accepted him and even admitted it was a relief, in a way, to finally understand what was so weird about Danny in the first place. That still didn't save him from further scrutiny, uncomfortable questions, or Bruce's stern lecture about keeping Tim safe.
On the other hand, Danny knew he had won over the Big Bad Bat when he got asked to provide ghostly consults to the Justice League Dark, if they ever really needed it.
"You know how it goes," Tim replied with a shrug. "There's always some emergency or something."
The couple continued their conversation about their day, their plans for the weekend as the official moving day came closer, and something else Danny soon forgot about when someone approached their table. Danny had seen the black-haired man enter the fast-food joint but didn't imagine he would be coming their way.
"Oh, Tim? Is that you?" the man asked when he reached them.
Tim furrowed his eyebrows in confusion at the sight of the newcomer. "Uh, Clark? What are you doing here?"
There was something about Clark that seemed familiar but Danny couldn't put his finger on it. Maybe it was just his sunny presence or the warm smile on his face that made him feel safe and protected for some reason.
Clark adjusted the glasses on his face and looked between the two younger men. "I got a call from Conner saying you needed my help with something urgent. He said you would know. I'm still not sure what's going on."
Tim let his head drop in his arms and groaned. "Oh, I think I do," he mumbled into his hands. He then straightened in his seat and gestured between Danny and the new guy. "Clark, this is my boyfriend, Danny. Danny, this is Clark Kent, a close friend of the family."
Danny raised an eyebrow when Tim shot him a sheepish grin. "Uh, nice to meet you, Mr. Kent," he said as he tried to dismiss the weird way Tim reacted, stretching his hand for Clark to shake.
The taller man held the offered appendage and shook it in a way that puzzled Danny to no end. "Nice to meet you too, young man," Clark replied in a friendly tone.
Danny stared at the hand he refused to release. There was something about the way this guy seemed to measure his strength, as if holding back from crushing him. It was so familiar in a way, akin to how Danny measured his ghostly strength. He looked into the man's eyes and noticed the concerned frown staring right through him.
And what if Clark was using some power to do just that? Why would this random dude know Conner and the Waynes? Unless...
Danny's eyes widened.
"No way…" he breathed in awe as he finally released Clark's hand. The half-ghost turned to look at Tim with suspicion. "Did you set this up?"
Tim looked shocked at the accusation. "Me? Why would I do that?"
Danny rolled his eyes. "Because you didn't believe I could beat Superman behind a Bat Burger," he said in a deadpan tone.
Which probably wasn't the best thing to say given their new companion.
This guy was one of the founding members of the Justice League. Sure, so was his father-in-law. But that star-struck knowledge had faded pretty early in their relationship.
Clark—no, THE FREAKING Superman, seemed more guarded as he scanned Danny (90% it could be literally) for any signs of a threat or whatever. "I'm sorry, you what?" Clark asked before turning to Tim. "What did he mean by that?"
Tim sank in his seat and grinned at Clark. "Uh, did Bruce ever tell you Danny's absurdly overpowered?"
Danny huffed. "Tim, birdie, It's not like I'm really doing this."
Clark chuckled. "I wouldn't want to face a Kryptonian, either."
The Ghost King felt his pride under attack and turned to Tim. "Seriously, hon, I don't want to leave Supes out of commission. What would B say?"
Clark's mirth faltered but he still seemed unconvinced. "I hardly think that's possible, son."
Danny tilted his head and gave Tim a dangerous smile. Something in his boyfriend's look changed from embarrassment to alarm.
"Oh, is that so?" Danny said in a lower tone, his aura turning darker. "Why don't we go out to find out?" He challenged the old man, allowing his eyes to flash green.
Clark's eyes widened before he looked at him curiously. "Are you… a meta?"
Danny snorted. "You wish."
As he tried to convince Clark to meet him on the roof for a friendly spar, since this Bat Burger had no parking lot, Danny didn't want to think about the implications of another Justice League leader finding out about him. But maybe it couldn't be helped. He had already dug his own grave when he decided to date Red Robin and take him to Amity Park.
He just hoped at least Tim enjoyed the free show and had a good time.
Tim was not having a good time. What was meant to be a fun gathering with friends went totally off the rails before it even started. He wanted to kill Conner for setting them up like this.
Speak of the devil…
Tim's phone buzzed and he drowned out the discussion between Danny and Clark. He answered the call but didn't even get a chance to say a word.
"Are you guys coming outside or not?" Conner said from the other end of the call.
Tim scowled. "I can't believe you arranged this."
The sound of laughter in the background confirmed Tim's suspicions that he was already with the others, probably on speaker. "We're starting the betting pool. Steph and Cass are already here, and Dick said—oh, hey, Jason!"
"Did you tell them about this?" Tim asked, mirroring the disbelief Danny had shown moments ago.
He then noticed Clark's smug smile as he shook his boyfriend's smaller hand. This was definitely happening now. He knew that mischievous glint in Danny's eyes. "Shit…" Tim muttered.
"Come on, Tim," Conner said. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We had to have a crowd. Are you coming or not?"
Tim sighed as he got up, threw away their trash, and followed the two men outside of the restaurant. As he thought about the upcoming fight, Tim shook his head and decided... Fuck it! Why not? He began to smile more confidently. "Fine. I'll double the highest bet. I say Danny wins."
He saw Danny's excited grin as he followed Clark into the alley next to the Bat Burger, something in the expression was so child-like and contagious... "Add another bet for me, will ya? Clark won't land a single hit."
The voices on the other side of the call exploded in comments that Tim couldn't even understand. Some seemed to be teasing, others protesting, and none of them cheering in agreement.
But Tim knew Danny would pull it off.
After all the ridiculous stories and claims that turned out to be true, he was willing to trust Danny on this, too.
THE END
