Chapter 62.
Knights vs Demons.
The second war continues its course, but now things have gotten complicated, Lucemon has arrived and has given more power to the rest of the demon lords, now Daemon, Leviamon and Lilithmon have the power of two crests, the royal knights and the chosen ones will have it difficult to defeat.
- "This power... I've never felt it before..."- Lilithmon said.
- "So this is how Lucemon feels..."- Daemon said.
- "With this we will be invincible!"- Leviamon said.
- "And I can finally overthrow Lucemon and be the strongest demon lord!"- The three of them thought at the same time.
- "Impossible... using two crests at the same time... that should be impossible."- Magnamon said.
- "Well, apparently it is not... because we are seeing it."- Dukemon said.
- "Don't be distracted, we have to get rid of these three!"- Omegamon said.
- "We are with you!"- Izuku said.
- "No, we will take care of these three, your duty is to defeat Lucemon!"- Omegamon said.
- "What?! But these three..."- Shinso said.
- "They are strong, yes, but so are we, it is our duty as royal knights to face these threats, besides, Lucemon must have done this for some reason, he would never give this power to the other demon lords if he did not receive something in return."- Omegamon said.
- "Are you sure about this?"- Melissa asked.
- "Yeah, as soon as we're done with these three, we'll catch up with you."- Omegamon said.
- "Alright, you heard it guys, we're going after Lucemon, we have to stop him."- Izuku said.
Following Izuku's orders, the chosen ones leave in the direction in which Lucemon went.
- "Hey! Where do you think you are going?!"- Daemon said and tries to chase the chosen ones but is stopped by Omegamon who blocks his way.
- "Do you want to go after them? You will have to pass over me!"- Omegamon said.
Daemon smiles. – "Gladly."- He said to then attack Omegamon, who defends himself by starting to fight against Daemon.
Seeing this, Lilithmon looks at Magnamon and charges at him, managing to ram him. – "You will be my first prey!"- Lilithmon said.
- "No thanks…"- You will be my first prey!
- "Then it will be you against me!"- Leviamon said while attacking Dukemon with his tail, attack that Dukemon blocks with his shield, but is sent flying anyway.
Dukemon lands on the ground, somewhat away from the center of the battle, in front of him Leviamon also lands. – "He's strong…"-
- "This new power that I received... has no comparison!" - Leviamon said, the crests of envy and greed shining above him. – "Neither you nor anyone will be able to defeat me!"- Leviamon lunges and attacks with its tail, an attack that is dodged by Dukemon while creating a small crater.
However, Leviamon laughs and suddenly moves quickly and manages to land a blow on Dukemon, sending him to the ground. – "I'm just getting started!"- Using its tail, Leviamon grabs Dukemon by the leg and throws him, crashing him into a building.
- "He's strong..."– Dukemon thought.
On the other hand, Magnamon defends himself from the attacks of Lilithmon who is attacking him with several punches.
In one of those attacks Magnamon tries to counterattack, but the attack is dodged causing Lilithmon to position himself behind Magnamon and she manages to grab him from behind. – "You've been very naughty... it's time for your punishment!"- Lilitmon said at the moment that the crests of lust and sloth start to glow, Lilithmon releases several lightnings which start to hurt Magnamon.
On the other hand, Omegamon fights against Daemon who attacks him with several bursts of fire, which are dodged by Omegamon. – "Die at once!"- Deamon fires a blast of fire from his mouth, which is countered by Omegamon who fires a beam from his Garuru cannon.
Both shots collide causing an explosion near Omegamon who loses vision due to the smoke, which Daemon takes advantage of to get close to him and manage to punch him in the stomach and then kick him in the back to make him crash to the ground.
Leviamon attacks Dukemon with its tail, but Dukemon jumps and dodges the attack. – "You will not escape!"- Leviamon will fire an energy sphere from his mouth at Dukemon, who only gives him time to cover himself with his shield.
When the smoke clears Dukemon can be seen with only light scratches and dust on his body.
- "You are stronger than I thought..."- Leviamon said.
- "I have to be, it is my duty to defeat you, and for that I will use all my power!"- Dukemon said. – "ZERO ARMS: Grani!"- At the moment of saying that, in front of Dukemon appears Grani, a red dragon-shaped Digimon hovercraft.
Dukemon climbs on Grani and prepares to continue fighting. – "I'm ready!"-
- "Alright... let's get on with the fight!"- Leviamon said to then charge Dukemon with an attack from his tail, an attack that is dodged by Dukemon thanks to Grani's extra speed, even as his Leviamon attacks again but is blocked by Dukemon's shield who counterattacks with an attack from his spear which is blocked by Leviamon's second tail.
After exchanging several attacks, both take a few steps back. – "That's all?! Die at once! Thunder Breath!"- Leviamons fires a burst of fire at Dukemon.
- "Lets' go Grani! Shield of the Just!"- For his part, Dukemon shoots a beam from the front of his shield.
- "Yuggoth Blaster!"- And Grani Fires a three-part bolo of energy against Leviamon.
The three attacks collide creating a smoke screen.
The explosion causes Lilithmon to be distracted for a few seconds, managing to make Magnamon elbow her in the stomach, breaking out of her grasp and then grabbing her arm and throwing her against a building. – "So Dukemon had to summon Grani... in this case I'd better start fighting seriously!"-
On the other hand, Daemon tries to hit Omegamon with a kick, however he manages to dodge it and counterattack with a sword attack, but Daemon dodges it. – "With those slow movements you won't be able to defeat me! Better give up!"- Daemon said.
But in that, Omegamon manages to point his Garuru cannon at him. – "I got you…"- And Omegamon shoots, managing to hit Daemon. – "My partners will not give up... it would be an insult to them to give up!"-
Back with Dukemon and Leviamon, the latter emerges from the smoke and attacks Duekomon with his tail, Dukemon protects himself with his shield.
- "Damn! Stop covering yourself with that damn shield!"- Leviamon again launches an energy sphere at Dukemon who covers himself again with his shield and, after struggling for a moment against the attack, he manages to deflect it, making it explode in the sky. – "Damn you!"- Out of desperation Leviamon charges against Dukemon however this is what the royal knight wanted.
Dodging Leviamon's attack thanks to Grani, Dukemon positions himself above the demon lord. – "Lightning Joust!"- And he attacks him with his energy-charged spear.
Upon taking the hit, Leviamon is sent flying and crashes to the ground several meters away.
Dukemon stares at where Leviamon crashed, without lowering his guard for a second. – "I must keep my guard up; I don't think that was enough to defeat him..."- He thought.
Suddenly, Leviamon appears behind Dukemon. – "That wasn't bad..."- Dukemon turns around but is suddenly pierced through the chest by one of Leviamon's tails. – "But that won't be enough to defeat me!"- Leviamo throws Dukemon and ihe crashes against the ground.
- "Dukemon!"- Grani said as he went to Dukemon.
The scream caught the attention of Omegamon and Magnamon, who were fighting together, who turned around to see their partner on the ground. – "Dukemon!"- They both try to go to Dukemon's side but are stopped by Lilithmon and Daemon who cut them off.
- "Where do you think you are going?"- Daemon said.
- "Your fight is against us."- Lilithmon said.
Back with Leviamon he laughs at the royal knight on the ground. – "It seems that royal knights are more joke than strength."- Leviamon recharges another sphere of energy against Dukemon. – "One down... two to go!"- Leviamon fires the energy sphere at Dukemon.
Grani, seeing this, resorts to something desperate, he merges with Dukemon.
Leviamon's attack is about to hit Dukemon but suddenly it is split in half by Dukemon himself, who is being surrounded by a white light which starts to turn red. – "What the…"- Leviamon tries to say but he is hit by Dukemon which makes him go back.
Dukemon begins to expel energy. – "Dukemon, mode change to..."- The light dies and now Dukemon looks different, his armor is now crimson red, his spear is now white and double edged, his shield is replaced by a white sword and his cloak is replaced by five pairs of white angelic wings. – "Dukemon: Crimson Mode!"-
- "Impossible... now you also get more power?!"- Leviamon said.
- "You better believe it!" – Dukemon said. – "Our fight is not over yet."-
- "This is unfair! We had already defeated one!"- Lilithmon said throwing a tantrum.
- "You better focus on us!"- Magnamon said as he and Omegamon charged at Lilithmon and Daemon.
Dukemon releases his energy. – "Crimson Mode... I don't care what you call it, you won't be able to beat me!"- Leviamon said, but in his mind he thought otherwise. – "His energy... is giving off incredible heat, that explains his armor, no color change, his armor is red hot!"-
- "It's over, Leviamon, this will be your end."- Dukemon said.
- "That's what you think!"- Leviamon said as he surrounded himself with an aura of darkness and charged at Dukemon, who easily managed to dodge the attack. – "Don't be scary! Don't dodge!"- Leviamon attacks with his tail but is dodged again by Dukemon.
This continues several times until Leviamon gets tired and attacks Dukemon with several energy spheres, but these are also dodged by Dukemon quite easily.
Leviamon tries to attack again with its tail, but Dukemon moves quickly and manages to position itself under the evil Digimon. – "Alright, I'll stop dodging..."- Dukemon delivers a powerful kick directly to Leviamon's stomach, sending him flying through several buildings.
Leviamon emerges from the rubble and looks at Dukemon with fury. – "Damn... how dare you hurt me!"- Leviamon charges at Dukemon again, but Dukemon easily dodges his attacks and manages to kick him in the back followed by several punches and a slash from his sword, causing Leviamon to crash to the ground.
Dukemon wastes no time and attacks Leviamon again with a punch, but the demon lord manages to protect himself with his tail. – "What's going on? Is this the best you can do?"- Dukemon taunts Leviamon.
- "Do not make fun of me!"- Leviamon attacks Dukemon with his second tail, but Dukemon dodges it and gets behind Leviamon to kick him again and send him flying, and before it hit the ground, Dukemon reaches Leviamon and kicks him again, making him crash hard on the ground.
Leviamon gets up again, this time very furious. – "You bastard... how dare you hurt me!"- Leviamon said while releasing all his power.
Dukemon summons his double-edged lance. - "The next attack will be the last..."- He said.
- "Do not underestimate me!"- Leviamon said this time releasing 100% of his power. – "If you want so much... so be it! The next one will also be my last attack!"-
Leviamon unleashes several lightning bolts at Dukemon, who dodges all of them as he charges towards Leviamon. – "Die!"- Leviamon fires more lightning bolts at Dukemon but he continues to dodge them as he gets closer and closer, his spear begins to be surrounded by energy. – "Stop dodging!"- Leviamon this time attacks Dukemon with several spheres of dark energy, however Dukemon summons his sword and destroys them all, finally arriving in front of Leviamon, however the latter smiles. – "You're in my range! Biting Crush!"- Leviamon opens his jaw, ready to crush Dukemon with his jaw and teeth.
- "Just what I wanted... Final Justice!"- Dukemon quickly throws his spear into Leviamon's mouth, managing to pierce him from the inside.
Leviamon widens his eyes in surprise and falls to the ground. – "I-Impossible... Damn it!"- After this, Leviamon explodes in data.
The crests of envy and greed in the sky turn gray and disappear.
Dukemon lands on the ground and a few seconds later he returns to his normal form, Grani appears in front of him. – "Thank Grani, You can go now, we'll take it from here."- Dukemon said.
- "Okay, good luck Dukemon."- Grani said before disappearing.
- "I'd better help Omegamon and Magnamon." - Dukemon said but before he could go help he fell to his knees. – "Or better, first I recover a little of my energy... Omegamon, Magnamon forgive me, but I won't be able to support you..."-
- "Damn it... Leviamon has been defeated..."- Lilithmon said.
- "The idiot trusted his victory and that's why he lost."- Daemon said. – "But you and I will not lose!"- Daemon surrounds himself with an aura of dark energy.
- "Let's finish these two!"- Lilithmon said to later also surround herself with an aura of dark energy.
- "Dukemon did it!"- Magnamon said.
- "Yes, and if he did it, we will too!"- Omegamon said while surrounding himself with a holy aura. – "Come on Magnamon!"-
- "Alright." - Magnamon said before surrounding himself with a golden aura.
Lilithmon and Daemon charge at Magnamon and Omegamon respectively, managing to take them by surprise and hit them, making them fall back. – "They are fast, I could barely see them move..."- Omegamon said when starting to fight against Daemon, both begin to exchange blows, Daemon manages to accept a kick that knocks him down and then tries to hit him with a punch, but Omegamon manages to block the attack.
Magnamon and Lilithmon also exchange blows, collide with knees and try to tackle each other, starting to struggle. – "Your powers may have increased..." - Magngamon said before taking a few steps away from Lilithmon. – "But we will never give up!"- Magnamon shoots several spheres of golden energy at Lilithmon which hit the demon lord squarely.
But that was not enough, as Lilithmon emerges from the smoke and grabs Magnamon by the face before smashing him into a building. – "Stop making speeches, they don't look good on you."- Lilithmon said.
– "No matter how hard you keep trying, you will never be able to defeat us."- Daemon said.
- "Leviamon made the mistake of being overconfident, giving Dukemon the opportunity to gain more power..."- Lilithmon said.
- "We will not make the same mistake!"- Both demon lords said in unison.
Omegamon wastes no time and manages to catch Daemon off guard, kneeing him in the stomach, Magnamon takes advantage of the fact that Lilithmon is distracted by that to free himself from her grip and kick her away.
Omegamon and Daemon continue with their battle, their power is very even, Daemon tries to punch Omegamon, but he covers himself and tries to attack with his Grey sword, but Daemon manages to dodge and hit him with a kick, which makes him back.
- "Phantom Pain!"- Lilithmon shoots several beams at Magnamon who dodges them and then launches a sphere of golden light at Lilithmon, who dodges with a jump.
Lilithmon lands next to Daemon, while Omegamon regroups with Magnamon. – "They are strong... we have to keep fighting."- Omegamon said.
- "Omegamon, I think I know how to defeat them, but I need your help."- Magnamon said.
- "What do you have in mind?"- Omegamon asked.
- "I've been developing a new technique and I think I can beat them with it, or at least weaken them enough for you to finish them off with your Garuru cannon."- Magnamon said.
- "Really? So let's use it!"- Omegamon said.
- "That's the problem, it's new and I'll need time to get it ready, so I need you to give me time, I know it's a lot to ask, but I need you to face them while I prepare the technique."- Magnamon said.
- "I see... very well let's do it!"- Omegamon said.
- "That easy?"- Magnamon asked.
- "Yes, that easy, I trust you."- Omegamon said before charging against Daemon and Lilithmon. – "I'll give you all the time I can!"-
- "It seems that Omegamon wants to fight against both of us!"- Daemon said.
- "So let's give him what he wants!"- Lilithmon said to launch herself against Omegamon.
Omegamon and Lilithmon start exchanging blows, Omegamon manages to hit her just in time to block a Daemon attack from behind him.
Meanwhile, Magnamon begins to accumulate energy.
Omegamon hits Daemon with a kick, however Lilithmon appears and surrounds his hands with gray fire and begins to attack Omegamon who defends himself with his sword.
Omegamon manages to push Lilithmon, but she laughs and throws several chains at Omegamon, managing to trap him. – "Daemon!"- Lilithmon said and at that moment Daemon appears ready to attack Omegamon, but in that moment a beam of golden energy hits Daemon's stomach.
The beam was shot by Magnamon who instead of shooting an energy sphere managed to shoot a direct beam with the ability to pass through his enemies, however Daemon manages to resist the attack without any damage. – "No!"- Magnamon said.
- "Die! Atomic Inferno!"- Daemon said as he fired a burst of fire at Magnamon who received the full attack.
When Magnamon opens his eyes he is surprised to see Omegamon with his back in front of him, Omegamon protected him from the attack. – "I'm sorry…"- Omegamon said. – "I didn't give you enough time... you had to launch the attack prematurely."- He apologized. – "This time I'll give you all the time you need!"-
- "Damn...it got away...sorry Daemon."- Lilithmon said.
- "Don't worry, I was wrong too, I didn't attack with enough power."- Daemon said. – "Let's do it again."-
- "Good, let's take care of Omegamon, when you have the opportunity attack Magnamon with everything you have!"- Lilithmon said before launching herself against Omegamon, who does the same.
Magnamon watches Omegamon fight Lilithmon. – "You're wrong Omegamon... you gave me more than enough time... it was me who didn't accumulate enough energy... this time I won't fail!" - Magnamon begins to accumulate energy, this time faster than last time.
Lilithmon tries to hit Omegamon, but he manages to dodge the blow and then hits her on the ground, Lilithmon covers her hands in gray fire and tries to attack Omegamon, but Omegamon jumps to dodge the attack.
Daemon joins the fight by attacking Omegamon in the arie, but Omegamon manages to block his attacks. Lilithmon also joins the fight, Omegamon does the impossible to defend himself and attack while Magnamon continues to gather energy.
Omegamon dodges Daemon's attack just in time to block Lilithmon's attack, which knocks him back.
Omegamon lands on the ground, Lilithmon approaches him and tries to attack him, however Omegamon was prepared, he points his Garuru cannon at Lilithmon, who is surprised. – "Garuru Cannon!"- Omegamon fires a beam which covers Lilithmon completely, but it doesn't end as it continues towards Daemon.
- "Lilithmon! Atomic Inferno!"- Daemon fires a blast of fire from his mouth which collides with Omegamon's beam, starting a scuffle of attacks.
As the two struggle, one hand emerges from Omegamon's beam and lands on top of the Garuru cannon, Lilithmon emerges from the beam with her right hand covered in gray fire. – "You're dead!"-
However, Magnamon appears behind Omegamon, the attack is ready. – "Sorry for the delay, sometimes I'm slow... Ultra Magna Blaster!" - Magnamon fires the same attack as last time, but this time it's effective as it not only pierces Lilithmon, but it also pierces Daemon as well. – "Omegamon, now!"-
- "Good job Magnamon."- Omegamon said. – "Garuru cannon, full power!"- Omegamon fires a beam at full power from his Garuru cannon, the beam consumes Lilithmon first.
- "N-No!"- Lilithmon said for the last time, since she later exploded in data.
Omegamon's beam continues its path until it completely consumes Daemon. – "D-Dammit!" - After these last words, Daemon also explodes in data.
Omegamon's attack ends, Omegamon falls to one of his knees, Magnamon also falls to his knees.
In the sky, the crests of Lust, Sloth, Wrath, and Gluttony turn gray and disappear.
Only the crest of Pride remains.
- "Omegamon! Magnamon!"- Dukemon arrives. – "You did it!"-
Omegamon and Magnamon get back on their feet. – "Barely, but yes."- Omegamon said. – "Good job Magnamon."-
- "Do not take away merit, if it were not for you this would not have worked."- Magnamon said.
Omegamon nods. – "Only one more demon lord left…"- Omegamon said. – "We have to help the chosen ones."-
- "I can feel their energies... they are a bit far from here."- Dukemon said.
- "Yes, me too, we have to help them."- Omegamon said.
- "And what about the rest of the humans and Digimon?"- Magnamon asked.
- "We have already eliminated the biggest threats, they will be able to with what is left, Machinedramon is the last general of the enemy army, when they manage to defeat him, the rest of the troops will withdraw."- Omegamon said.
- "Okay, in that case let's go."- Magnamon said.
Omegamon and Dukemon nod and the three royal knights leave in the direction of the Chosen Ones and Lucemon.
While they walk away, the rest of the humans and Digimon continue with the battle, Endeavor and BanchoLemon along with other heroes and Digimon that joined the fight, among them Mirko, Ryukyu, Best Jeanist, the BAN-TYO and ShineGreymon, continue with their fight against Machinedramon who turns out to be tougher than before.
– "It seems your leaders have fallen, surrender now!"- Endeavor said.
- "Leaders... don't make me laugh! They mean nothing to me, my loyalty belongs solely to Lord Lucemon, as long as he lives, I will never stop fighting!"- Machinedramon said.
- "It seems that it will have to be the hard way... if we manage to defeat him the rest of the army will withdraw."- BanchoLeomon said.
- "I want to see you try..."- Machinedramon said preparing to fight.

- "So you guys followed me here...pretty risky if you ask me...remembering what happened the last time you fought me."- Lucemon said while sitting on the roof of the beach pier looking at the six chosen ones.
- "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be in battle?"- Izuku asked.
- "It's not necessary, considering that the result is obvious... at least for me, besides this place is beautiful, even though it belongs to your world..."- Lucemon said. – "I may not have the quirks anymore since I'm separated from Tomura's body... but I'm still stronger than all of you put together!"-
- "It does not matter! We will not give up until we defeat you!"- Izuku said as Melissa and Shoto place their hands on his back.
- "This time the result will be different!" - Shinso said as Kaminari and Toya place their hands on his back.
- "Hyper Spirit Evolution!"- The six of them shout in unison and now it's only KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon watching Lucemon.
Lucemon looks up at the sky and smiles when he sees that only his crest remains. - "If you want it so much..."- Lucemon stands up and is surrounded by an aura of light and darkness. – "I'll make sure you suffer a lot before you die!"-
- "The only one who will die here will be you!"- KGreymon said.

The first part of the battle is over, we are halfway through the arc and there are only two enemies left to defeat.
And with that goes six defeated demon lords.
Let's be honest, the participation of Lilithmon, Daemon and Leviamon... was not so decisive... in fact I think they were defeats quite early in the war, but I couldn't do it any other way, I'm sorry.
There is a reason behind that, at first it was not contemplated that those three would appear in this battle, in fact, just like the three previous demon lords, they would also have their own digital mission arc, but by the time I realized it, I was already in the war arc, and I couldn't do any more digital missions, so I had to add them at the last moment in this arc.
Even so, I don't think it turned out that bad, at least his fight against the royal knights was great... right?
Well, nothing, the next chapter will be Machinedramon against everyone, I have to save the fight against Lucemon for last, you know, leave the best for last.
Who could have guessed that Machinedramon would last longer than six of the seven great demon lords...
Speaking of length... I'm pleased to inform you that this story has approximately 8 or 7 more chapters left, so there are only 8 or 7 chapters left until its end.
Why do I say 7 or 8? Because I don't know exactly how many chapters it will take me to write the fight against Machinedramon, I already have the final fight against Lucemon well thought out and I already know how many chapters it will last, just like I already have the final chapter in mind, the only thing that I still haven't thought out well It's the duration of the fight against Machinedramon, but I'll see.
