Bony Boy goes to JJK World

Hello there, Author here. Thank you all for the feedback on the fight from the previous chapter. I have read them and taken steps to improve the fights and the writing from now on.

Also, I know you must have a lot of better things to do other than reading this fanfic and pretty much working as my English teacher for free, but the fact that you still do it is amazing. As a thank you for the feedback, I put in more effort and was able to get a double update for today since it's the only kind of reward I can give you.

Thanks again for helping me improve my writing either by giving moral support by reading the story and/or giving feedback for me in the reviews. Thank you all.

Megumi's pov

The undead of the 3rd layer was finally getting to land a few hits on Megumi and Nobara. After dozens of individual fights and what seemed like hours lost in the maze, the number of mistakes was getting higher.

Nobara could no longer kill the curses with just a couple of resonances, even with her cursed technique being able to target the soul of her enemies directly, the amount of damage she dealt with slowly decreased.

It was becoming obvious that they needed to rest soon, the only problem would be to find a suitable location. For some reason, anytime they stopped for more than a few minutes, they would get surrounded by at least half a dozen undead.

'Are we being followed? ' Megumi asked himself as he struggled to search his surroundings. With the Divine Dog as his alarm and Nobara keeping an eye out for anything unusual, Megumi tried to confirm his theory, but no matter how much he searched... nothing came up.

Once more, they sat near the center of a random roo. Unlike before, where they preferred to stay near a corner so that they could hide from any curses who were wandering around, they now accepted the fact that for some reason they would be found. 'Yep, here they come. ' Nobara thought as she watched two Doom Lords making their way through a straight corridor staring right at the group.

"Maybe we're not being followed after all. It could be something about the layer itself. " Megumi said as he got up. He sent Divine Dog to attack the Doom Lords while Nobara quickly threw her nails at the curses.

If there are two in front of them, there must be others coming to flank us. That was what they learned from their brief and insufferable stay in the third layer.

Thanks to their teamwork, they both got out of that situation without having to kill or even face most of the undead. Only one of the Doom Lords was killed as the jujutsu sorcerers ran away from that room leaving the rest of their enemies behind.

They ran and ran as fast as they could. Soon they would need to rest up again... soon the Doom Lords would find them. Every bit of space between them meant a few extra moments of peace and silence. Something that was becoming rarer.

After a few more minutes and hiding spots, Megumi and Nobara found Angel, who once again decided to jump on Megumi.

Once she settled down they began talking about their next move. "Are you sure you don't want to go back now? Things are only gonna get worst. " Angel spoke with her uncaring and serious tone.

"Angel is right, Megumi. Look at you two. This layer alone left both of you this tired and the next one is bound to be harder... let's just go back and leave it up to- " Hana said as she tried to convince them to turn back. She pointed at every injury and their irregular breathing as proof that they were not ready to face the fourth layer.

"Yuji's beyond this layer. We will leave once we get him back. " Megumi said as he glanced at Nobara who just nodded back with a small smile. Nobara too was tired, but she didn't want to abandon Yuji. She didn't want to hear about his death again.

"I don't understand why you wouldn't leave this up to Gojo?! " Hana said as she started tearing up. She moved her hands around like she was trying to hit him only to stop right before his face. "You don't even know if Yuji is still here. Maybe he got flushed out of the Domain in the second layer."

"Yuki is like... another special grade, right? No way she got disqualified like that. She's definitely ahead of us too... so... it's like that you know. We have to get Yuji back and Gojo is too busy so... " Nobara said while trying to make it look like she didn't really care about Yuji, but the lack of cohesion and the pauses were so bad, that Megumi started smiling.

"Don't laugh you- " Nobara was about to slap Megumi across the face only to stop when Hana got in between the two. "Humm! " Nobara said as she turned around.

Megumi shook his head before he started walking forward. "Gojo is busy with the guardians. We can't ask him to prioritize Yuji while putting the whole mission in jeopardy. We have to rescue Yuji ourselves. " Megumi said as he started walking forward.

"Hmmm! Damn it! You two. Alright, let's go to the fucking fourth floor then you stupid assholes. " Hana said as she started following both of them.

With the new addition to their group, fighting the curses became easier. Or at least, that was what it was supposed to happen.

Angel proved to be unwilling to fight despite having the perfect cursed technique to counter cursed spirits that were created from a Domain. She simply refused to fight when there were others to do so for her.

"I'm saving my energy for when I see Sukuna. " Angel said when Megumi tried to press her to help in the fight.

This new piece of information caused both Megumi and Nobara to stop for a moment, before continuing walking like nothing was happening. They didn't know what to do, but one thing became clear to them, this is gonna be a problem.

After they walked around for about half an hour, they finally reached the door leading to the fourth floor. They argued once more before Megumi and Nobara started walking by themselves and after passing the door leading to the fourth layer. They disappeared.

Hana soon followed after them while shaking her head.

Megumi and Nobara were teleported to the same location, just as they had expected. They expected to find another maze just like the three layers before, only a bit harder to navigate.

But the fourth layer immediately proved itself to be different. "Careful Nobara, the ground is unstable. " Megumi said as he felt the floor moving under him.

Megumi quickly glanced downward. 'Wood?! This is...' Megumi couldn't believe what he was seeing. The floor where he was standing was not made of stone and dirt like the previous layers, it was made of wood. Not only that but there were two steats with paddles underneath them. "It's a canoe. " Megumi said.

Nobara quickly stopped moving before they ended up forcing the canoe upside down and started looking around them. "You can do this much with a Domain?! " Nobara said as she stared at something she didn't believe could possibly exist inside someone's Domain, a huge lake.

They were inside a canoe that was adrift on a huge-looking lake. There were some trees and vegetation near the lake with a blueish light coming down from light-emitting crystals on the ceiling, but no sun.

While the view seemed completely otherwordly to them when compared to what they had seen in the Domain, the jujutsu sorcerers couldn't let their guards down for too long.

Soon after they got a glimpse of their surroundings, they were reminded that this was not some sort of crazy adventure within nature's hidden treasures, this was a curse's Domain, and they were the enemy.

A huge fight shark-looking curse jumped out of the water aiming straight at their boat. Megumi was too late to respond which left Nobara to do the heavy lifting. "Damn it! " Nobara said as she sent three nails to the curse.

The shark opened its mouth and swallowed the nails which immediately exploded right afterward, but even with that amount of damage, it was not enough to stop the creature that continued moving toward them. 'It's gonna destroy the canoe. We're too far from the shore and I don't have any aquatic curses. ' Megumi thought as he summoned the Divine Dog.

"Nobara, jump. " Megumi quickly pulled out his Divine Dog and sent it after the curse. He jumped away from the monster as soon as he could and Nobara followed him right afterward. Just as he predicted, the shark also jumped after them and was no longer aiming at the canoe.

"Oh shit! " Nobara screamed as the shark's mouth approached them. Megumi's shikigami jumped on the creature as it flew by the canoe and started tearing it apart, only for it not to matter at all. The curse was getting closer and closer to them.

[Nue]

Megumi summoned his flying shikigami who quickly grabbed both him and Nobara. Nue wasn't strong enough to fly both of them for long distances, but it had enough power to dodge the shark while carrying both of them.

The shark continued going forward as Nue went to the side carrying both of the jujutsu sorcerers. "That's good enough, Nue. " Megumi said right before he made Nue disappear, they both fell down on the canoe.

Nobara quickly grabbed the paddles, threw one at Megumi, and started paddling away. "Quick, let's get to the shore. " Nobara said as she went ham with the paddle.

Megumi quickly started doing the same while the shark continued to pursue them. The curse continued to follow them as fast as it could, but once they reached shallower water, the shark turned around and went back to where it was patrolling.

Nobara quickly glanced backward asking, "Are we clear now?! " But not even a few moments after the shark had turned around, a new problem arose.

Megumi was the first one to notice that water was leaking into the canoe. "There's a hole in the damned thing. " Megumi said as he quickly summoned his frogs.

The shikigami used its tongue to plug the hole, but soon more holes started appearing. "What's wrong with this- " Nobara stopped talking when she saw her answer around them.

More curses, of course. Unlike the big one from before, they were surrounded by small fish curses that were tearing the boat apart from underneath them. Megumi pulled out a sword from his shadow and started attacking the curses.

After killing three of them, Megumi realized that they were very weak individually, but their numbers were too great. At that rate, they were going to sink within a few moments and there was nothing that could stop there. "Paddle harder, Nobara. Quick! " Megumi said once he understood that if they fell overboard now, it was over. The number of curses would overwhelm them.

"I'm doing that already, idiot. Why don't you paddle harder?! " Nobara responded as she placed all of her strength into paddling away. The curses also seemed to respond to this increase in speed as they also started tearing through the wood even faster than before.

This fight lasted only a few seconds until a huge hole opened through the bowel of the canoe. Megumi had no choice but to summon Nue once more and try to fly as close as it could to the shore while carrying Nobara.

They both grabbed the shikigami right as the canoe was about to go underwater and they flew right above the surface of the lake. Curse after curse started jumping after them, a few of them succeed in biting Nobara's legs and then they were quickly exorcised before they could do too much damage. Most of them, however, missed their targets and just continued trying again and again.

It took a few seconds before they started losing altitude. Nue could no longer carry them and Megumi had to make a choice. The jujutsu sorcerer looked at Nobara who had a serious expression and then he let go of his own shikigami.

"Oh no, you don't! " Nobara said as she grabbed Megumi by his hand.

"What are you doing-" Megumi tried to speak, but Nobara wasn't having it.

"The shore is right there, if we stay together we can make it," Nobara said as she hoped Nue could hold on for a few more seconds.

Megumi quickly glanced down and saw that the number of curses had increased a lot. Most of the curses, however, were now struggling on top of each other trying to get closer to them. "It's not gonna work, Nue is weakened because I'm low on cursed energy right now. We'll have to attack and then hope that we can make it time. " Megumi said as Nue threw both of the upward and then flew down straight into the water.

An electrical discharge went around the water causing the curse to freeze up for a few moments. That was all Nue could do before it disappeared. Both Megumi and Nobara fell into the lake and started swimming.

Thankfully, they were close enough to the shore which meant that right before the curses started moving, they hit the shore and could start running. "Go! " Megumi said as he pulled Nobara out of the water and dragged her away.

The curses continued to follow them as fast as they could, but once they were out of the water, they turned back. "My foot! " Nobara said as she immediately pulled out a nail and struck deep into the head of the curse who was biting.

Megumi quickly went to check on Nobara's injuries. "Can you walk? " Megumi asked as he tried to pay attention to his teammate's state and his surrounding area.

"Arggg... " Nobara mumbled as she pulled one nail out of her purse. She was also worried about the curses that could come after them on land.

They were now on a beach and in the open. There was no telling how long the curses would take until they attacked, but it was just a matter of time. Both of them immediately shivered when their suspicions were confirmed.

Megumi knew that the curses would attack soon, but he couldn't have predicted from where. The most natural would be to assume that they would come from land since most of the curses had moved back to where they patrolled, but that was not the case.

A huge noise followed by a small earthquake happened making both Megumi and Nobara shiver. Even though she could not stand, Nobara tried her best to get up. Megumi had no choice but to bring out his Divine Dog, even though he was worried about his teammate.

Both of them continued watching the beach and the surrounding vegetation, the rock formations, and even the ceiling. The noise became bigger and bigger, and the earthquakes too which made it obvious where it was coming from.

"No way... is that... " Nobara said once she turned to the lake. She saw a huge stone monstrosity rising from the water and making its way to them.

The creature had two big red eyes and a huge red spot glowing on its chest. The water's level started decreasing which revealed that whatever that thing was, it was massive. Megumi quickly grabbed Nobara and started running further away from the lake.

"There's no mistake... " Megumi said as he ran deeper into the land. He quickly climbed over a stone wall and threw himself inside a small forest falling into a valley.

There was no need to get closer so that he could confirm the amount of cursed energy or even speculate. The creature exuded a huge amount of power and intimidation with every step it took toward them. "That's the guardian! " Megumi screamed as he continued running away as fast as he could.

Yuta's pov

Yuta's first instinct was to pull out his sword and strike at the shadow creature who just pushed him. His blade was just a few centimeters away from the target when he suddenly found himself unable to breathe.

"Humm- " Yuta tried to hold his breath immediately and soon after he had to hold back his urge to cough. For some reason, he found himself inside a smoke screen, and he couldn't bear the smell of burning flesh.

The jujutsu sorcerer quickly realized what had happened and where he was. Yuta found himself falling right on pilled of burning corpses. 'Rita! ' Yuta sent out a mental command for Rita to grab him and throw him to a safer landing place.

Yuta flew right above a small river of lava and fell down on the scorched piece of land inside an even bigger lava river. The weight and pressure from his landing caused the piece of land to shake a bit before it slowly started floating away which forced Yuta to jump to yet again.

"What is this place? It doesn't look like the fourth layer should be. " Yuta said as he quickly pulled out the invitation.

"Welcome to the 7th layer. " Yuta heard someone speaking to him. He slowly placed the invitation back inside the bag he was carrying and looked around him.

"Who are you? " Yuta asked the winged creature that was flying a few meters away from him. The jujutsu sorcerer quickly examined the cursed energy, attire, and manners of the curse.

'The guardian? So soon? ' Yuta thought as he understood the situation he was in.

"My name is Demiurge. Congratulations on making it all the way to the 7th layer. " Demiurge said as he gave a small bow to the invader. His voice held a small amount of sarcasm and disdain.

The guardian wore a red suit with white vertical lines all around it, he also had a pair of glasses, pointy ears, and a metallic tail. 'So that's what a guardian looks like. ' Yuta thought. Even though he was the one on the lead now, this was the first guardian he had seen until now.

"Then again, you still took too much time. " Demiurge grabbed his glasses and started cleaning them. "If only you got here a few minutes sooner, I would not have killed your friends. "Demiurge said with a small smile on his face.

"Friends? " Yuta asked as he saw Demiurge fixing his tie. "Impossible, they were never here in the first place."

Demiurge continued talking, "Maki and Ieri. Those were your teammates, right? You left them behind in the second layer. "Demiurge said as he crossed his arms.

"What a shame... had I known you would get here this soon I would have left you to say final goodbye. This really hurts my heart. " Demiurge shook his head as he brought his arm forward and snapped his fingers. Soon afterward, a small imp took flight carrying Maki's head. "There's more, by the way. " Demiurge clapped his hand prompting more imps to fly. Each of them carries a different head.

Megumi's, Nobara's, Maki's, Ieri's, Hakari's, and even Yagi's head were there. "Look at this collection I gathered. Maybe I have enough to fill a shelf or something tacky like a huge display wall to match what I did to their bodies. " Demiurge said as he spread his wings.

Yuta's eyes winded and with a huge roar, the jujutsu sorcerer jumped after Demiurge who simply continued to watch. "I'll kill you! " Yuta screamed as he pulled out his blade and prepared to slice the guardian.
