The life of Sesshomaru and Ryokotsu (a.k.a Rin)

Chapter 9
Jakotsu POV

Mates..ha? I'm not surprised. They would be the perfect match with almost equal power and beauty. I flew threw the long corridor leading to my sister's chamber. Everyone would be at bed right now. Why has she called me to her room? It is quite unusual. I pushed the large wooden door only to see a figure with long silver hair standing at the balcony, staring at the moon. Sesshomaru-sama?

"Sesshomaru-sama, what are-" I started before I was tackled onto the floor by a light weighted stranger...surely a woman. I took a sniff of the air. Tama-chan?

"Tama-chan, what are you doing here?!" I asked, surprised. Why were these two in my sister's chamber?

"I had something important to discuss with Ryo-kun and Sesshomaru ni-san," she explained.

"Then why am I here?" I asked, completely confused. Rin never invited me into a discussion. In fact no one has.

"Why are you here?" asked Tama-chan, just as surprised as me.

The flower patterned door opened to reveal my sister in her male form, wearing her black dressing robe. "It is ready. Come on in." she said, motioning everyone inside.

We followed silently into her secret closet, taking our places. The news should be very important if she chose to discuss it in this part of the Manor. This room had a spell on it concealing any noise or scent from anyone outside. Grabbing a few cups she began pouring hot tea into them.

"Sister Rin, why have you called me here?" I asked.

"I thought it'd be less awkward if another man was here. Plus it would great to get some ideas from you," replied Rin.

Clearing her throat she set down the teapot and sat back into her seat. "Tamae, tell me what you have learned."

"Hai, Ryo-sama. I came to witness something unusual. The young women of a close by village are being taken to the Lord's Manor there. According to what I have heard this has bee happening for a while and there are speculations that the Lord is a demon. However, before I can find out more I was chased out of the village and nearly killed," Tama-chan explained slowly.

"Tama-chan, are you hurt?" I asked, concerned. Of course I would be. She is the demoness I have fallen heads over heals for. Unlike many others, I'm the only man who she has let near her. I know my Tamae is strong, but that doesn't stop me from being worried.

"Yes, Jako. Don't worry," she replied with a bright smile.

"Hn. I would come to believe that this Lord has some use of this women," Sesshomaru stated.

"Or he could simply be a lady's man," Rin responded, followed by a small giggle.

"Yes, I had over heard that from the villagers too." Tama-chan, added.

"Very-well...we do not have enough information to work with. However, the suspicion he is a demon arises new problems. A human has no real use of taking over power in Akumahitotoshi, but a demon does. We can not estimate the power of this demon nor his origins. He could very well be an Evil, since not many protectors are known to be in the Hidden realm," explained Rin, thoughtfully. The hidden realm?

"What is the hidden realm, Ryo?" I asked, curiously. Although I have heard of it, I was not sure what exactly it was.

"It is a place between Earth and Hell, as the humans call it. Many years ago, after the war ended humans that were mated to the Evils were taken to the hidden realm, along with the Evils. Overtime, humans from Earth and Akumahitotoshi accidently ended up in the Hidden Realm. Eventually, some Protectors were send there to protect the humans there. It is a place were the Evils, the Protectors and humans stay in." Rin taught.

"Well, considering his actions I think that if he was a demon then he is probably an Evil," I suggested.

"That could very well be true, Jakotsu. We do need more information to make any further assumptions. Don't you think?" asked Rin, turning to Sesshomaru.

"Yes, Master Ryokotsu. Since we know that the Lord has some sort of interest in women, it would be clever to send a women," Sesshomaru replied, calmly.

"Rin, this is your chance!" I said, laughing inwardly.

"Shut up!" came the response.

"Are you implying that I go, brother Sesshomaru?" Tama-chan asked. What? Tamae? No.

"If Tamae is going, I'm going to protect her." I barked quickly.

"No, Tamae can't go Sesshomaru. She was almost caught. This would be risking her life," protested Rin.

Sesshomaru nodded in acknowledgement.

"What if I go then? I'm pretty good at disguising as a women," I suggested calmly.

"Come on, Jako. Even I can see right through you," Tamae said, followed by a small giggle.

I sighed. The only left would be Rin, since Sesshomaru is to proud to do such a thing.

"Master Ryokotsu..." came Sesshomaru's voice, getting all our attention, "Why don't you pretend to be a women? Might I add you do have a slight feminine scent."

I saw Rin's eyes widen in the corner of my eyes and I could hear her heart racing. "I do not think you have been caught, but this is our only option," I told her, attempting to calm her down.

"I agree, Sesshomaru-sama. Since, Ryokotsu is a...I mean...she...he has a female form." I said. Lord I almost spilled it there.

"JAKOTSU!"

"He does?!" I heard Tama-chan yell, excitedly.

"Yes, I do," whispered Rin.

"OH MY GOD! I CAN'T WAIT TO DRESS YOU UP AND ACCESSORIES YOU!" Tamae said as she bounced up and down in her chair.

Sighing, Rin agreed, "Fine. If this is the only way then I will take my female form, but I will go by the name Rin."

"So it has been agreed. Master Ryokotsu will disguise as a female and I will go with him. There will be no objection," ordered Sesshomaru as he rose from his seat.

This will be interesting. I smirked.

A/N: End of chapter, guys. How do you guys think Sesshomaru would respond when he sees Rin? And do you think Lord Rankotsu would let his daughter go after he knows they are meant to be mates? Hehehe.
