Max started to feel more better about as each day went by. He couldn't work out whether it was the talk he had with Peg in the hot tub or the sex they had in her room last night that helped him to feel better. Then he thought it was a mixture of both and they both were great for helping him feel better.

The next day, Peg decided to throw a barbecue party for tonight and get it ready for where Goofy and PJ get here. Max helped her get everything ready, including helping her shop for the barbecue food and cleaning the barbecue set before it was ready to be used. Peg was so grateful for his help. Then Goofy and PJ arrived and Max, Peg and Pistol all greeted them warmly. The barbecue party was successful. As they ate, Goofy and PJ asked Max about his South Dakota trip and how he was coping without Lisa. Like what he told Peg in the hot tub last night, Max told them that it was worth going to help Lisa settle into her grandmother's house and then support her during her grandfather's funeral and the days after before he came to Hilton Head Island. He did apologize to Goofy and PJ for not being in Spoonerville to help them clean out Pete's garage, but they both said that supporting Lisa when she needed it the most and before he had to leave her was way more important than cleaning out a garage, no matter how hard it was, especially when Pete made it more difficult than it needed to be. Then Max asked PJ how he was coping with his former girlfriend Chloe moving to a different university instead of joining them at Spoonerville College. PJ said that he was upset that he wasn't in a relationship with her anymore, but he was proud of her for getting into Yale University and he was glad that they remained good friends and they would remain in contact with each other.

The next day, Peg took everyone in her speedboat on the Savannah River in it. She wore a dark green bikini, Pistol wore a purple bikini, Max wore yellow swim shorts, Goofy wore brown swim shorts and a Hawaiian shirt and PJ wore purple swim shorts and a brown t-shirt. They had a great time speeding on the river while looking at the beautiful scenery and wildlife around them and under them. Then Goofy took the boat's wheel and controls so Max and Peg could do their water-skiing together and PJ and Pistol kept an eye on them. Max and Peg hadn't water-skied together since Max's sixteenth birthday and they were both amazed and impressed that they still could do it and they still enjoyed doing it together and still viewed each other as water-skiing buddies. Then Peg took control of the boat again and let Pistol water-ski with Max behind the boat while Goofy and PJ kept an eye on them. Max remembered when Pistol water-skied with him on his sixteenth birthday so he knew that she could water-ski, but today she amazed him with how much better she got with it since then. Not only that, but she could also slalom water-ski and barefoot water-ski and even wakeboard like him and was just as good as he was. After they finished their boat tour, Peg and Pistol explained that she was still in the water-ski club that she joined when she and Peg moved to Hilton Head Island. Max also noticed that Pistol kept flirting with him while they were doing those activities together.

The next day, as she was a member of the Country Club of Hilton Head, Peg took Goofy, Max, PJ and Pistol to it and they had a nice game of golf. Peg and Goofy played the golf game, Max was his dad's caddy, PJ was his mom's caddy and Pistol was in charge of keeping scores. In the end, Peg won the game and Goofy was happy for her. It reminded both Peg and Goofy all the happy times when they used to play crazy golf in Spoonerville when they were young before Goofy had to move away with his parents.

The next day, Peg and Pistol took Goofy, Max and PJ to a big water park called Splashy Waves. It was a massive water park and it had a large lazy river, a massive wave pool and plenty of slides of all shapes and sizes. Everyone gave everything a go, except the biggest and the most extreme slides which only Max and Pistol who were the only ones brave enough to try. Again, as they queued up in line for these extreme slides, Max noticed Pistol flirting at him again. It was like she was trying to tell her that she had a crush on him.

Then the next day, everyone tried to get onto a dolphin boat tour, but there were only three slots left, so Peg suggested that Pistol took Goofy and PJ on it as she and her daughter had been on this tour many times. Peg had her own idea of how to show Max the dolphins. She, wearing her chocolate brown bikini, took Max, wearing his white swim shorts, on her speedboat and she took him somewhere away from the island and to a spot in the Atlantic Ocean. Then she got out two scuba-diving tanks and diver masks. Then, after putting them on, they jumped into the ocean. As Max followed Peg, he saw many incredible sights. There were plenty of dolphins, but there were also sharks and whales and other marine life. Peg also showed Max many sunken ships at the bottom of the seabed. There were some that was as early as the first colonizations of American up to the present ships. It was as if they were in a ship museum but underwater. They liked seeing everything they saw, but the best bit they liked the most was just being with each other. They even held hands most of the time during their scuba-diving trip, which they liked a lot. Then they headed back and caught up with Goofy, PJ and Pistol who finished their dolphin boat tour, who told them about their amazing dolphin boat tour and took photos of them. Well, PJ and Pistol did and Goofy took photos of… other stuff.

As for the rest of the days, everyone did many things like relaxing on the beaches, going on bike rides (which Max and PJ joked that they were starting to practice for the bike part on the College X Games Championship and defeat those unbeatable Gammas), playing tennis at the tennis court, visiting museums, visiting nature reserves, taking some horses for a ride and going jet-skiing among them. They had a great time doing these fun activities and one of the best things about it was they were all glad that Pete wasn't here to ruin everything.

But for Max and Peg, one of the best things about this vacation for them was that they could get to have some private time to make out. They would make out whenever they could, especially at night in Peg's bedroom and after their scuba diving trip where they made out on her speedboat before they made their way back to join Goofy, PJ and Pistol after their dolphin boat tour. Peg told Max that having sex with him in these last few days was the best she ever had in her life, even more than with Pete during their more-than-twenty-years marriage.

After their wonderful vacation, Goofy, Max and PJ had to go back and get ready for college. It was very sad that their vacation came to an end and they had to go back to Spoonerville, but it was one of their best vacations ever for them and even for Peg and Pistol. In fact, they all thought it was the very best vacation ever, even better than their Arabian Gulf cruise vacation and they really loved it.

As they drove back, Max realized that Peg was right. That wonderful vacation he, PJ and Goofy had with Peg and Pistol in Hilton Head Island had taken his mind off Lisa and Roxanne. He still missed them, but it stopped him feeling sorry for himself about not currently having a girlfriend and it made him feel more excited and focused for college.

On the night before he left, as they had sex in her bedroom, Peg told Max that he was always welcome to come back to Hilton Head Island and do many activities they liked doing together, like having sex, water-skiing, scuba-diving and jet-skiing among them. Max was very grateful for that and offered the same generous offer to Peg, which she was very grateful for that as well.
