Chapter 17: Breakthrough

3 Days Later, Imperial Encampment, 28th March 16 BBY, 17:15 pm…

Cinder moaned with every thrust Baron Maleficus drove into her with, her nails leaving bloodless gouges into his skin as she clung to him.

Pushing Cinder down so she lay spread out before him, Maleficus gripped her hips and started thrusting into her at a hard, fast pace, fucking her as he always did.

Cinder's moans and screams were music to his ears; in similar fashion to that of his victims whenever he was finished forcing himself on them.

But Cinder didn't require force for him to fuck her. She often welcomed him.

Just like they both welcomed their mutual climax as both reached it; Cinder moaning loudly, whilst Maleficus grunted as he came inside her.

The two shared a glance at one another before Maleficus yanked himself out of her, watching as his cum dripped from Cinder's pussy with satisfaction.

Cinder sat up, legs still spread wide apart as she gave him a full view of her naked body. Burned though some areas were; Cinder was still a beautiful woman. Beautiful enough to make any men lust for her.

Taking a moment to clean himself, Maleficus quickly stuffed himself back into his underwear, doing his trousers up as Cinder stared at him lustfully. "How fares your search for the Spring Maiden?" He finally asked. "I've been meaning to ask; but matters of running the army have meant the chance has eluded me."

"The trail has been running cold." Cinder replied as she began to slowly dress. "But with the arrival of Hazel; I am confident the trail will begin to heat up again."

The Baron watched hungrily as Cinder dressed; knowing that she was his woman, and knowing she would not forsake him for another man if any even existed. "Keep me posted on any future developments, Cinder. I will send for you if I have need of your… comforts."

"Comforts I will gladly provide you with." Cinder responded with an evil smile before stepping away and leaving the tent.

Maleficus' gaze lingered on the shapely behind of his paramour before a familiar visage took her place.

"Baron… I have returned." Adam Taurus said.

"Excellent." The Baron replied, facing Adam. "What news?"

"I have amassed an army consisting of every single one of my followers." Adam replied. "Five thousand in totality."

"Impressive." Maleficus commented. "Your followers remember who they should be grateful to for fighting for their rights."

"Indeed." Adam replied. "I've taken to calling it the Faunus Revolution Army."

"A good name." the Baron said. "Come… let me get the measure of your newly assembled army."

Adam nodded. "Follow me, Maleficus." He replied, turning on his heel and leaving the tent.

Maleficus followed. He was sure he would be disappointed, but knew he would have to be impressed in order to retain Adam's loyalty to the cause, much though it vexed him to have to do so.

The FRA's encampment…

"Feast your eyes, Baron! Five thousand of my best soldiers armed to the teeth and ready for battle!"

The Baron had to admit… he was impressed at how well equipped the FRA was.

Adam had outfitted them with customised Imperial stormtrooper armour that the Baron had approved, coloured black and red like the colour scheme of their leader, alongside masks similar to Adam.

Alongside this, most of the foot soldiers of the FRA were armed with standard issue E-11 Blaster Rifles.

Officers were dressed similarly to Adam; though in their case, they were armed with SE-14r Repeating Blaster pistols, alongside a sword.

Some were toting heavier weaponry, but that was to be expected.

Maleficus nodded approval. "You have done well with what I was able to provide you, Adam. I'm impressed."

"I was regional leader of the White Fang in Vale for much of my adult life, Baron." Adam responded. "I pride myself on keeping my forces well equipped and outfitted."

"Then all that remains is your new orders." Maleficus stated. "Take a contingent of your forces and go to Menagerie. I want it taken over and the White Fang eradicated completely."

A sinister smile crossed the would be faunus messiah's face as he nodded. "Gladly, Baron." Adam replied.

"As a further gesture of good faith; I will send the Ninth Brother to accompany you on your mission." Maleficus declared. "He will serve as liason between our forces from here on out."

Adam nodded before turning and leaving. "I shall leave at once, Baron."

"Excellent." Maleficus said. "Then select your troops. I want you on your way within the hour."

Adam nodded and took his leave, just as two stormtroopers walked over, dragging someone between them.

"Lord Baron sir, we discovered this local snooping around the eastern perimeter of the campsite." One of the stormtroopers said. "He said he wanted to talk to you one-to-one."

Maleficus looked between them to study the man; a skinny man in perhaps his thirties, with long dirty blond hair and gray eyes. Stubble covered the area around his mouth and he was wearing a dark blue and gray jacket with torn sleeves over a long-sleeved shirt. Around his neck was a bandana and a shoulder pad covered his right shoulder. Completing his look were brown fingerless gloves with straps alongside brown pants and boots.

"So…" the Baron asked as he knelt down in front of the man to get a better look. "What is a pathetic local such as yourself so desperate to get an audience with me for?"

The man looked Maleficus in the eye and replied: "Because… I know you're looking for the Branwen Bandit Tribe."

"Oh? And are you here to tell me where it is?" the Baron inquired.

"Yeah…" The man replied. "But first… I want payment before I say shit to you."

Maleficus snorted. "Payment…? I'm afraid no such thing exists around here. You're going to give up what you know, whether you want to or not."

"Not without money. I ain't telling you shit otherwise." The man responded.

Chuckling, the Baron replied: "I think you're mistaken. You won't have a choice in the matter." Looking to his men; Maleficus added: "Bring him to my chambers. Pain is a wonderful tool with which to loosen tongues."

At that, the man was violently restrained, and dragged off, screaming:

"Fuck you, man! I ain't telling you anything without my money!"

"We shall see about that." The Baron cackled sadistically.

Everything seemed to finally be falling into place for him.

The White Fang looked to finally be destroyed.

The thorn that was the Branwen Bandit Tribe was soon to be plucked from his side.

And finally, the search for the Spring Maiden looked to be heating back up again with the arrival of Hazel.

Maleficus did not often rely on signs and portents, but today… he was willing to make an exception.

Menagerie, the Belladonna Manor, 18:00 pm…

"So then I knocked Ironwood out and me and Dad hightailed it out of there." Kanan finished. "I'm sure Dad told you most of this already."

"He did, but… I just wanted to hear it from you as well." Blake replied, smiling. "It's not gotten at all tiring to hear about. Especially given how hard Nathan fought to get out of there."

Kanan smiled back. "You gonna ask Nathan for his own recounting of the escape when you reunite?"

Blake smiled warmly. "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to." She replied, sighing happily. "Three more days until he's in my arms again…" She mused softly.

"And three more days until all of us will be needing ear protection." Another voice said as Kali joined them with tea.

"Mom!" Blake yelped, blushing a fair bit as her mother handed her and Kanan each a cup of tea.

"Just saying due to prior experience." Kali teased softly, playfully nudging her daughter before walking back inside.

"She isn't wrong though." Kanan joked, before Blake lightly punched him in the arm. "Ow." He mused, holding his arm in a show of being hurt.

Blake didn't respond, merely stood up and walked to the edge of the balcony; tea in hand as she stared out to the horizon. "I wonder what Nathan is doing right now?" She asked.

"If I had to guess; training, hanging out with the others… all whilst thinking all about you." Kanan said, wrapping an arm around Blake. "All he's been thinking about the past couple of weeks is you, Blake. Even when he was busy making sure everyone else was okay, you were never far from his thoughts. And right now… I reckon you're all he's thinking about."

Blake smiled. "Funny. Because right now; all I can think about is him." She replied.

Kanan nodded as Blake met his gaze.

"I wish there was still frequent ships to and from Menagerie." Blake remarked. "That way… I could just go straight to him… and not have to wait a minute longer…"

"While that's true…" Kanan replied. "You've waited this long already, Blake. Another three days won't hurt anyone."

Blake sighed. "A lot can change in three days, though." She mused.

"True." Kanan said softly. "But the more things change; the more they stay the same. And what will stay the same is that you and Nathan will reunite. And I shudder to think of what will happen to anyone who dares stand in Nathan's way."

Haven; the same time…

"Nathan…?"

Nathan turned to see Yang had joined him, smiling. "Hey Yang."

"Hey." Yang responded. "You coming in? Dinner's nearly ready."

Nathan nodded. "Just a minute. Just… just gonna stay out here for a little longer."

Yang smiled. "Can't stop thinking about her, can you?" She asked.

Nathan sighed. "I'd be lying if I said I couldn't." He replied. "It's all I can do not to just say 'fuck it' and fly all the way over to Menagerie right now."

Yang nodded. "Can't say I blame you. But… you've waited this long. What difference is three more days gonna make?"

"I guess you're right." Nathan said. "I… It's just so fucking hard just… just waiting."

"Anything worthwhile is hard to wait for." Yang said. "Believe me; before Kanan came into our lives; I was worried I was gonna be single all my life, to the point I'd almost given up on waiting for a man to arrive." Taking a deep, happy breath, Yang added: "But then Kanan came into our lives, and I finally found that man I've been waiting so long for. Three more days, Nathan. And then… then you and Blake can have the reunion you've spent seven months doing nothing but dream of."

Nathan didn't respond, but looked up as Yang took his arm.

"Come on. Maybe some dinner will help." Yang said softly.

Nathan smiled gently as he allowed Yang to lead him back inside.

Just three more days.

He could handle three more days.

So; now Adam has an army. Where's the Hulk where you need him? Wait; wrong fandom.

First off; I apologise for failing to update the fic last week. A combination of work related fatigue and the unexpected realisation that another WWE PPV was upon us contributed. However, I have returned, and am back on track.

Enough rambling though. Time for reviews!

Sharnorasian Empire: Unfortunately as I sometimes like to say; Man makes plans, and God laughs. And trust me; wait until you hear the insult Nathan will bestow upon Salem when they meet.

Anyway; thank you all so much for reading the chapter. If you all liked it; y'all know what to do.

I shall see you tomorrow with chapter 18.
