"Wow," Alex breathed as we turned the corner on the bridge. Below us traffic zoomed by while the sea stretched on both sides. We'd left behind Pinwheel Forest and now the last stretch of Skyarrow Bridge lay before us. Beyond that lay the looming skyscrapers of Castelia City, sunlight glinting off their gleaming sides. The city curved outwards into the ocean with the rest of the place obscured behind the buildings. Even from here we could see the bustling of people and traffic. A luxurious ship was docked at one of the several ports, passengers embarking for today's cruise.

I whistled. "Castelia has got to be bigger than any city in Alola. Heck, it might even beat Lumiose."

"It isn't actually," Robert said, shaking his head sadly. "As a proud Unovan it pains me to say this, but Lumiose City is bigger."

"Who cares!?" Alex started jogging ahead of us. "It's a big city! We need to enjoy that big city life! Now c'mon!"

I shook my head and was about to run after her when Robert stopped me.

He held out his device and said, "Here. I did a little digging into that lawyer guy and this is what I found."

I took it and read the news article. After a minute, I stopped walking. I glanced at my friend.

Robert nodded grimly. "I made the same connection."

"What is it?" Alex asked curiously, jogging back over.

I handed it to her. "It seems that Carlos Herz was a lawyer for a key witness in a criminal investigation. An investigation into what is believed to be a major criminal organization."

Alex raised an eyebrow, finished reading, then handed it back to Robert who tucked it away. "I'm right when guessing that this is probably the same criminal organization we've run into a couple of times now?"

"With our track record, it's a safe bet," I sighed, then did a quick glance around the bridge to make sure no one else was near us. Far back behind us was a woman and her Ducklett gazing at the water below, but she was nowhere near us to hear our conversation. "But this definitely means that the Executioners were hired by this organization," I went on. "Which makes it a lot harder for us to stick our noses where it doesn't belong. We could end up being their next targets."

Both Alex and Robert nodded. Maybe after seeing that guy beheaded in Nacrene had made them painfully aware of who we were dealing with.

"But we can't ignore anyone in need, you know that as well as I," Alex told me and I nodded reluctantly. She went on. "If investigating too far would likely end in our gruesome deaths, then I do have an alternate idea."

"What?" Robert and I asked simultaneously.

Alex grinned. "How about we ask a real detective to do the digging for us?"

"I just want to say this first," Looker hit the papers on his desk to make sure they were all aligned together. He looked up at the three of us in front of his desk. "You all have a knack for trouble."

"We didn't even say why we needed to talk to you," Robert protested.

Looker rolled his eyes and slid over on his chair to the window, cracking the blinds open to stare out at Castelia below. "I'm here for a certain case, so I hope what you all need is quick."

"How much do you wanna bet?" Alex asked me.

"It's pretty much certain," I nodded.

"Absolutely," Robert agreed.

Looker groaned. "What are you three talking about?"

When Robert had called the detective, we'd been surprised to find out Looker was already in Castelia City in an Interpol branch office. Once finding the right skyscraper among so many, we travelled up to the 25th floor to his office to talk with him. Other people in suits tapped away at their desks in scattered cubicles while others were up and about on break.

I wonder if they're all Interpol agents like Looker, I wondered.

Robert looked around before leaning on Looker's desk. "What do you know of Carlos Herz?"

Halfway to stacking some papers, the detective froze. Groaning, he set them down. "I shouldn't be surprised."

"No, not really," I said, shaking my head. "We were there when he was murdered. We've also run into this criminal organization on several occasions."

"Virbank City's police report about their port," Looker nodded. "When I read about some teens being involved, I should've known it was you three." He folded his hands. "So, any information you can give me?"

We told him about all of our encounters with the criminals and gave names where we could remember. Though Looker just nodded. It seems that he'd heard most of what we told him.

I hesitated to tell him this next part. I didn't even know if he knew about them, but considering he was Interpol...

I lowered my voice. "Do you know about the Executioners?"

This time instead of freezing up, Looker actually dropped the papers in his hand. They scattered around his feet as he stared at me, dumbfounded. "How do you know about them?"

People were beginning to stare, so I lowered my voice to a whisper. "Take a guess."

Looker grimaced, looked down at all his papers, then stood. "Follow me."

He took us to the elevator and up to an empty floor. The desks and cubicles were bare and unused. Looker sat down in the nearest chair, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "When you were a member of Team Rocket I'm assuming."

"Partly," I nodded. "I've run into them more recently than those days. But I probably don't have any information about who they are that you don't already have," I forewarned. "What I can tell you is that they're here, in Unova."

Looker sat straight up. "What!?"

"I saw the one who goes by Spirit," I continued. "Right after Carlos' Herz was beheaded."

Looker's expression darkened. "This is worse than I thought." He stood, walking over to the wall of windows. Cars drove down below and through the skyscrapers I could just see a large circular park.

"You three have no idea what you've been dealing with," Looker said, not turning away from the view. "The reason I and many Interpol agents have come here is because there is a crisis waiting to happen. This criminal organization you've run into, they're much bigger than even we had previously thought. They have ties all over the world, not to mention how far their roots spread across Unova."

"Wait wait," Robert shook his head. "They have to be pretty new. I lived most of my life here and I've never heard of anything like a hidden criminal organization that massive before in Unova. The crime rate had always been pretty good, save for the last year or so. It's gotta be a more recent thing."

Looker shook his head. "That's where you're wrong. They're not new, not by a longshot. They've just managed to keep real quiet for a long time, spreading their influence and expanding their enterprises."

"You seem to know quite a lot about this already," I said hopefully. "Does that mean Interpol will be able to take them down soon?"

"Unfortunately, we don't," Looker said, irritated. "We may have the identity of some of their higher ups, but we don't have the location of really any of their bases nor do we know the identity of who's in charge. We have eyes on a couple potential companies here in Castelia City, but... Well, then there's the legal issues. Needless to say," he turned and gave us a grim smile. "There's not a whole lot we can do but gather more information on them."

"So that was pretty much a bust," Alex sighed as we strolled down the busy oceanside street. "Any ideas now, boys? Cause mine pretty much fell flat."

"We can always just explore the city," Robert suggested. "When in Castelia..."

"I agree," I said. "Let's try not to go looking for trouble."

"That's every day for us," Alex pointed out. "Look how that likes to turn out."

"Fair," I admitted. "Then... How about we take up Burgh's offer and challenge his gym?"

Alex shrugged. "Why not. We can do all the sightseeing later. I want to stay here for a couple days. There looks to be a lot to do."

"Then leave the directions to me!" Robert said proudly, thumping his chest. "I've been here before, challenged Burgh's gym, so I can assure you I know where to-!"

"Idiot!" Alex kicked Robert in the side again as he lay whimpering on the sidewalk, both drawing wary gazes from passing people. I let her vent her anger as I stared at the building in front of us. It was vastly different than the gigantic skyscrapers on either side and behind. It was the right size for a Pokemon Gym, but the large sign indicated it was an Art Museum.

"I swear!" Robert cried out, trying to crawl away from Alex's fury. "The gym was here! I swear-AUGH! ZENO! HELP!"

"I'll check inside," I said, walking towards the front doors, not wanting to have Alex's attention be directed onto me. "Maybe they know where the gym is."

"A WHOLE HOUR!" Alex yelled and Robert screamed again. "A WHOLE HOUR OF YOU PURPOSELY LEADING US ONTO SIDE STREETS AND FOR WHAT!?"

"BUT I BOUGHT YOU A CASTELIACONE-AAAAAAAAAAA-!"

His scream got cut off when the doors closed behind me. I now stood in a ridiculously decorated hall. Velvet green carpets, sleek wood walls, all topped with what appeared to be painted honey dripping down the sides. It was a strange form of art to say the least. Numerous paintings hung from both sides of the hall with mini sculptures in the middle, dividing the hall. There weren't many people here, just the odd old person and a tourist couple.

I turned to the front desk to the right of the main doors to talk to the man behind it. "Excuse me, but would you perhaps know where the Pokemon Gym is located?"

"Ah, you made it to the right place," the guy said brightly. "Or, that would have been the case a few months ago. Burgh decided to change locations to make this a full on arts museum. You'll find the warehouse Burgh set up on New Gym Street."

I frowned. "New Gym Street?"

He chuckled. "This street used to be called Gym Street. But with the gym gone, the other street with the gym is now called Gym Street, but all the locals like to call it New Gym Street."

"Thank you," I nodded to the man and left. Alex was sitting on a bench beneath a tree, whistling a tune.

"Where's Robert?" I asked, glancing around the parking lot area. "I don't see him."

Alex smirked and nodded her head up. I raised my head to see a pair of feet sticking out from the leaves.

"Well, pull him down," I said. "I know the street we need to locate, but we need Robert to find it, unless of course we read the map ourselves."

"Nah, he could do with the grunt work," Alex tugged on his feet and he fell out of the tree with a thud.

"Ow ow ow..." Robert moaned. "Zeno, you abandoned me. What ever happened to being bros?"

"It's kinda your fault this time," I said, then caught Alex's warning gaze. "All of your fault I mean. So get up and make things right. We're heading to New Gym Street."

Robert led us to Castelia Central Area, a large circular park with a giant fountain in the middle. Small woodland areas lined the perimeter and around the fountain, along with stretches of grass and flower fields. Pidoves flocked on the ground near a bench where an elderly woman was tossing out feed onto the ground. People were having picnics on the grass and some watched a Milotic swim around in the fountains waters, followed by a romp of Oshawotts who looked to be absolutely in love with the elegant serpent Pokemon.

We followed Robert around the park and onto a street which housed what looked to be a brand new street sign labeled, "Gym Street."

"This is the street," Alex said and peered down the busy road. "And would you look at that. Skyscrapers in all directions. Really, what happened to good old fashioned one, two story houses?"

"Castelia City likes to stay modern," Robert said, spreading his arms wide. "Y'know, tons of housing within one building, nice sky-high views, and sweet looking penthouses. Oh hey, look, a warehouse between two skyscrapers. Imagine that."

Alex kicked him in the shin as she walked faster. Further ahead a warehouse just came into view, a large green gym sign hanging above it.

"Now then," I rubbed the top of one of the pokeballs attached to my belt. "I think it's time."
