Chapter 4

Todd was wandering the sidewalk, in a bit of a troubled mood. Mother's Day was right around the corner, and he had no idea what to get Agent K for Mother's Day. Riley and Dick had already gotten her something, but he didn't have anything.

"Man, this stinks. I can't find anything for Mom." Todd said as he sat on the sidewalk.

Riley then approached, "Hey, Todd, what's wrong?" she asked.

"Well, I can't think of anything to get Mom for Mother's Day. You guys have your gifts, but I don't have mine. I don't know what to buy her." Todd said.

"Well, why don't you just make her a gift?" Riley asked.

Todd looked up at that idea before he thought for a minute and got an idea a few minutes later.

"I've got it! Thanks, Riley!" Todd said as he hurried off.

Some time later, Todd came out of an art store with his Mother's Day present in a wrapped box.

"Just you wait. Mom's gonna love this." Todd said before a robotic hand snatched the box out of his hand. He looked and saw Buzz controlling a small mech that looked like the Egg Dragoon.

"Sorry, Daring, but if you think I'll let you upstage my Mother's Day gift, you got another thing coming." Buzz said.

"Look, Buzz, I don't have time for your stupid mess today. So give me back the gift." Todd said.

"Forget it, loser." Buzz said as he flew off with Todd in pursuit. He chased it halfway across town before Todd picked up a brick and threw it at the green round part above the legs, which caused the robot to flail around a bit, giving Todd an idea. He got in close and started kicking the machine, while Buzz fired bricks at him from a cannon at long range, which missed his face, but a few hit his arms. Eventually, Todd hit the central part enough that the light cut off and the robot sparked.

"NO! The controls won't respond!" Buzz said as Todd jumped onto the robot and kicked the central part a few times before Buzz tried to hit him with bricks, only for Todd to jump out of the way and cause him to hit the robot. Todd then repeated the same strategy while Buzz tried frequently to swipe at him with the robot's hand, only for Todd to manage to dodge. Eventually, he damaged the robot enough that it froze up.

"Come on!" Buzz said before he noticed Todd approaching him.

"Stay back!" Buzz yelled before Todd kicked the control pod enough times it shook loose. He then snatched the gift before kicking the pod, sending Buzz falling to the ground and the machine to fall to the ground and break a bit. Buzz was unconscious, but uninjured. Todd looked at the gift and sighed at seeing it wasn't damaged.

The next day, Todd walked up to Agent K after Dick and Riley had given their gifts and handed her the box.

"Happy Mother's Day, Mom." Todd said.

"Thank you, Todd." Agent K said before she opened it and saw a clay model of herself and a picture of her and her family. The picture had words on it.

"To a mother who totally rocks her mission! Happy Mother's Day, Mom!" it said.

Agent K got tears in her eyes before she hugged Todd.
