I know I keep apologizing on here, but I hope this is worth the wait. Thank you all for your patience.

Embry slowly opened his eyes, he felt groggy as he looked around, the room was dark, and he couldn't make out where he was. He felt a pressure on his chest, he looked down and his heart jumped. Angela was asleep. 'she's here, she's actually here' he chanted in his head. He ached all over and desperately needed to move, but he didn't want to wake her up in case this was a dream.

He watched her sleep as the sun rose through the curtains. He could hear movement from outside the room. He was no longer feeling groggy, his senses started to slowly kick in. He could smell Sam and Emily nearby, he guessed he was at their house. This was confirmed when Sam opened the door "Hey are you …." "shh" Embry said quickly not wanting Angela to wake up. Sam nodded and closed the door quietly and walked up to his side.

"How are you feeling?" he asked Embry nodded "I feel ok don't really know if I am in pain or not. Feeling groggy". "Yeah Dr Cullen gave you some medicine to help with the pain" he clarified. There was a knock and Angela walked in "the Dr is here" she moved a side and Carlisle stepped in.

"Don't wake Angela" Embry said as he moved to his side. Carlisle smiled as he looked at Angela and then back at Embry "I wouldn't dream of it" he said. He removed the drip from his hand and checked his spine the best he could. "You've healed nicely, you will still be a bit tender for a few more hours so no phasing until then" he said as he left. Embry nodded as they all left.

A few hours later Angela started to stir. She slowly lifted her head and looked straight into Embry's open eyes. She smiled "hey" she said. "Hey" he said with a chuckle. "You're here?" he asked. She sat up straight and laughed "of course I am" she said. Embry slowly sat up "how are you feeling?" she asked as she heard him groan a little. He lent back so he was leaning on the headrest. "I feel better a little stiff but a lot better, now that you're here" he explained as a little blush started creeping up his neck. Angela smiled at him as she blushed too then her face changed.

"I'm sorry I took so long Embry, I just wasn't sure about the whole wolf imprint thing. I wasn't sure what that meant. I know you explained it a little bit, but I was still confused. I came to talk to Bella and she introduced me to Emily. She helped a lot" she explained. Embry nodded "so what does that mean?" he asked. Angela blushed, she stood up awkwardly "come on let's go for a walk" she said avoiding the question.

Embry walked slowly beside her as they walked down to first beach. The beach was deserted, they had the place to themselves. They sat close to the tree line, Angela stared out at the water. She wasn't sure what to say to him. She wasn't good at this type of thing. Embry sat watching her, he could see her mind reeling.

"Angela?" he asked. She didn't turn to look at him "Angela? Please look at me, please" he asked again. She slowly turned to him "just talk to me" he said. She sighed "I don't know where to start" she confessed. "I mean you know I like you and I know that being my wolf means that you will be a better boyfriend than Eric. I just don't know" she was rambling, Embry started to smile. Angela started pacing "I've not had much experience with guys and you come along, all strong and heroic saving me from Ben. I start having these feelings for you and I don't know what to do. I'm not the type of girl that gets the hot guys and I …."

Embry stopped her with a kiss. He pressed his lips gently onto hers. Angela stood shocked as Embry stood back. "Sorry, you were rambling, and it seemed the best way to get you to stop" he explained. Angela blushed but didn't move away. Embry took this as a good sign. He stepped closer and gently cupped her face. He slowly lowered his lips back to hers, giving her a chance to move away if she wanted too.

Their lips connected, Angela gasped into the kiss which gave Embry the chance to deepen the kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer. She slowly wrapped her arms around his neck losing herself to the feeling of his lips.

They eventually broke apart for air. Angela rested her forehead onto his, both were breathing hard. Neither could speak, risk of breaking the moment weighed heavily in Embry's mind but he needed to say something. "I don't want to stop this, but we really should get back. My grandma will be worried about me". She nodded "yeah I should go home. My parents are going to want to talk to me" she said with a sigh.

They walked back to Sam's hand in hand. Bella was waiting outside with Emily, they both smiled when they noticed their joined hands. Angela waved at them as Embry led her to he car. He wanted to kiss her so bad, but she was blushing already from being watched by the two girls. He took hold of her hand and brought it up to his lips.

Angela blushed and quickly got in her car, but Embry stopped her from closing the door. "Can I see you tomorrow?" he asked hopefully. Angela nodded and leaned forward, Embry took that as a sign. He lent forward and captured her lips in a soft chaste kiss before he shut the door and watched her leave.

Bella came up beside him "She will come back, right?" he asked her. Bella laughed "from what I just saw Embry, yes she will". He nodded to himself repeatedly 'she'll be back, she'll be back'.
