TELL ME
Summary: A very annoyed Mori asked a sleepy Ueki a very serious question. First fanfic. Oneshot. Can't blame a girl for trying, right?
"Finally! I can go home, lie on my bed, and sleep my way to happiness… if only a certain Kobasen didn't give so much homework. If I get home soon I could still spare some time for a quick nap. Now to find Ue--" Mori was shocked at the sight she was looking at right before her eyes.
~flashback~
"So let me get this straight, the reason why I didn't disappear in my fight against Anon, was because the last Kurogane I shot hit Hideyoshi? Man. I guess he IS kind of our secret hero. But why did you wait until now to tell me?" asked Ueki while they were walking home from a long day of classes. Their conversation started minutes ago, when Ueki finally revealed to Mori what he used the blank zai for.
"Well, i never really found a reason to tell you. Until now that i realized what zai you actually got." answered Mori who was struggling hard to keep her hand from punching poor Ueki on the face. She was still quite shocked at what she saw.
"You figured it out?! Honestly?! What is it? C'mon tell!"
"You honestly don't know?"
"Would I ever lie to you?"
"COME ON UEKI!! YOU STILL HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT THAT YOU GOT YOUR CHARM ZAI BACK?!?!?!" said, or rather, shouted Mori
"So that's why you were angry when I was talking to that girl..." yes you got it. Ueki figured it out why Mori was angry, eventually. The charm zai does have its advantages and disadvantages, right?
~end of flashback~
"UEKI!!! Can you at least TRY NOT to use the charm zai?!" asked a very annoyed (or rather, jealous) Mori. 'Honestly, why do I even bother? It's not like I'm jealous or anything… and it's only been the second day since I told him he had his charm zai back.'
Ueki just stared sleepily at Mori. What do you expect from a guy like him, right?
"It's not like I chose this zai you know. Anyway, you haven't got anything to eat there would you? Kinda hungry here."
"Give me one good reason why I should give you lunch... Why should I give lunch to you, who flirts as much as he sleeps."
"I mean, can you at least stick flirting with ONE girl. It's bad enough you flirt with ONE girl, Ueki. BUT A WHOLE CLASS OF GIRLS?!?! Tell me Ueki, who really is that person in your heart?"
"How am I supposed to know? You've always been the one keeping it."
