Disclaimer: Whatever my fellow writers have said before

Warnings: My sensibility can't detect anything relevant to warn about, other than some hints of HP/DM slash

Oh, I'm a fifteen year old Portuguese girl and this is my first fanfic. Think twice, read everything you've ever written and count until ten before flaming me, ok?

And, because we learn from our failures, I don't mind criticism

I hope you enjoy the reading

If God was one of us, I'm sure He would walk, just like me and you. Maybe He would trip on air or on His own two feet too, but He would never fall. God always stands on His ground, in defiance or in resolve. He looks upon us, protecting us with just the brightness of His eyes.

I wonder if His eyes are green… of course they are, because green is the colour of our Mother Nature, of Life, of Hope! It's also the colour of death…

Oh, if God was one of us, He would certainly have really dark hair, almost black, I think. Black hair is power; black hair is vigour and eternity. Blond white hair, like mine, is cold and thin, and God isn't cold. My dream vision of Him is so clear that I can recall the exact fragrance of His hair. It's cinnamon and it couldn't be anything else. I feel myself melt every time I imagine His wild hair. If God was one of us, I would run my hands through His astounding locks.

And He would have pale skin. Well, not as colourless as mine, no; His skin is healthy, a little rosy on the cheeks and very shiny, too. This way, His skin can contrast with His beautifully wild black hair; after all, that's what life is about: contrasts. His skin would be soft, but not delicate, because God is a warrior fighting for saving us, and a warrior must be rough.

I'm amazed by the things I could tell you about Him. How He's tall, but not as tall as me; how He's slender, but well muscled, due to all those days practicing Quidditch; how He looks like a seventeen years old boy; how the white shirt and the red and gold tie fits Him so well, like He was meant to be a Gryffindor all along. Yes, I think He would be a Gryffindor and you probably are laughing at me right now.

And you know what? I don't care about what you say. I just care about my courageous and brave God. He has this urge to help others and that makes Him impulsive. I suppose He would be bad tempered too and He would explode on His people when they walk on the wrong direction. Other than that, He would be independent, always caring and above all trustworthy. He would use magic that is not against the laws of gravitation like Wingardium Leviosa, nor able to freeze every molecule of a body like Petrificus Totalus, nor mind controlling like Imperio… No, He would rely on the magic of Love and Friendship, because magic without feelings is just an empty force.

If God was one of us, He would have a name…

And I believe Harry Potter would be a good one.

After all this, I can tell that maybe, just maybe, God is already one of us…

What do you think?
