(EPOV)
School went by quickly, leading to my very last lesson, Algebra. Not only did I have Algebra, Bella said she had a lot to do today what with not being done moving, and that our date would be better on Friday. For like half a second I considered the possibility of Bella standing me up, but then she assured me that Friday was alright. Man, I almost punched myself for that half a second. Bella's brother, Emmett, was super freaky. The guy looked like a huge bear with muscles and claws; freaky, like I said.
Mr. Hampton was babbling some nonsense about the value of x when there was a knock on the door. The person did not even wait to be called in when she came in. She had long blond hair and sky-blue eyes. She even had curves in all the right places, but looked kind of... bitchy. With a hand on her hips, she scanned the room, as if she was waiting to be called by someone. I glanced at the guys beside me, only to find them drooling over her. Maybe one day ago I would've been right there with them (probably not, blondes were never really my thing), but what with Bella...
I started feeling watched and... Guess what? I was being watched by the new girl. She raised an eyebrow while looking right into my eyes, like she was waiting for me to drool over her as the rest of the class. But, come on, how can I drool over that, when I'd met Bella? Bella's beauty was innocent and pure, whereas hers was primal but fake.
"Oh, hello Ms. Morrison. It's good to see you have finally graced us with your presence. A warning, Ms. Morrison... just because you're new in this school does not mean you can come in late. Now, please take a seat next to..." please don't say Cullen, please don't say Cullen, please please please..."Ah, Mr. Cullen over there," he said and pointed to my seat.
"Yes, Mr. Hampton," purred the girl in what was thought to be a sexy voice.
God, do you hate me? Did I ever do anything to deserve this punishment? I mean, I know I haven't gone to church or prayed once in the last 7 years, but, come on... It's not that bad, now is it? I thought you were all about forgiving and forgetting! I prayed quickly to Him. You were supposed to be my friend! I sent again, but now madder. She quickly came over to my desk, swinging her hips from side to side in an exaggerated way. Traitor.
"Hi, I'm Amanda Morrison, and you are?" she asked in an incredibly nasal voice.
"Hey... I'm Edward Cullen," I replayed with an uncomfortable smile. I really wished she would take a hint, but alas, that wasn't happening.
"Well, it is very nice to meet you Edward," she purred wiggling her eyebrows at me in what she thought it was sexy. Well, Amanda, you look like someone suggested for you Michael Jackson's nose surgery, and that it somehow also affected you voice, I wanted to tell Amanda in her face, but no... my mother would've called me impolite. I asked the divinities up there for patience not to kill Amanda.
"So Edward, like, do you want to go like to the movies with me like today?" Three times she said 'like'! Did she only have three pages worth of a dictionary for a vocabulary?
"Nah, but thanks," I said, attempting to sound as uninterested as I felt.
"What about, like, tomorrow?" Please take a hint, woman.
"Um, no, thanks, I'm good." I told her as honestly as possible.
"Like, who do you think you are? Any guy would want to like, date me." Was she out of a Mean Girls remake or something?
"Well, I'm Edward Cullen and sorry, but apparently not every single guy wants to date you. Please, take the hint that I don't want to date you now or any time in the near future," I spoke with a cold voice. She looked very pissed, and just in cue when she was about to say something, the bell rang. Saved by the bell... The only way I could've been happier was if today was already Friday.
I know, this chapter is terribly short. 739 words to be exact. #SorryNotSorryKindaSorry
