Chapter 88: Blades of the Patriots! Clashing of the Titans!

Last time, in Tales of the Cosmic Wars, the Enji were shown the depths of Kira's ambitions. The son of the Grand Master wasted no time asserting his power, and added Siegel and Helmer to the list of those killed on his path to becoming the Supreme King! The subcommittee members that supported him were all too happy to dispose of their uncooperative fellow members, however Djibril and Sakyou got a taste of their own traitorous medicine when Xiza and Albert revealed they were the only ones that were truly fit to stand with Kira and killed them!

Kira then put his plans to silence his former comrades and executed the deadly order that he created his grand Replica army for, order 66! With a simple command, soldiers that have been fighting side by side with the warriors of light throughout the cosmos turned on them! Luckily for the Enji, no offense to the Jedi knights, but the Enji were just a little stronger, had more allies having their back and were already having suspicions about Kira 's plans.

Even so, there were more than a few tragic losses to this cruel betrayal. However, in the Hallowed Bastion of Radiant Garden the Enji Knights were able to rally to defend their home from the vicious assault of the Titans.

While their commander Yazan tried all methods at his disposal, even poison gas, the combined outcome of a reawakened furious Brad, the return of Masters Yamamoto and Zoda, and the resolve of the warriors of light resulted in the Enji defeating their attackers. Master Chief and the others were willing to fight to the very end, but Cloud found out from Cortana that it was because Kira was ordering the nano-machines in his and the others bodies to command all of their actions like puppets through the SOP ( Sons Of the Patriots) System!

Luckily, the Enji were not forced to kill his ally, thanks to a mysterious blast scrambling the nano machines and knocking them out! Having survived Kira's ambush, Cloud, Doug, James , Lacus and the rest knew that Kira could not be forgiven for this act, and that his reign of the Supreme King must be cut short if they are to survive. X, Zero, and Axl arrived to offer their support and others were willing to help them too. But even so, can the Enji find a way to stop Kira, before he goes through with Ben's execution and secures his absolute power over the Lylat Kingdom? It's time to find out, so let's get started!

Today's chapter begins at the damaged home of the warriors of light, the command center, to be precise. While the assault from the Titans left a large hole in the rooms ceiling, its computers are still intact. After tending to the wounded and making sure that Master Chief and all the solders that surrendered are locked up tight, the majority of the Enji are now here. Lacus' father and the three Maverick Hunters are there as well.

They are presently watching the main screen in the center showing the main news channel of the Lylat Kingdom. Right now, a reporter was reviewing the breaking news of the Enji betraying the Lylat Kingdom. The reporter then showed a broadcast of Kira, who was proclaiming he has "discovered "that the Enji were planning to overthrow the Senate and take over the Lylat Kingdom!"

We then go to a close up of the reporter in a shuttle over the Senate declare, "It seems that our new King was able to prevent the Enji from their betrayal, thanks to the Titan's efforts! According to the newest press release, all the traitors are engaged at the moment. It's confidential about how the progress is. Supreme King Kira has assured the senate that all the Enji would be brought to justice!

In the meantime, he was ordering the city of Neo Arcadia into emergency lock down mode until further notice."Well, everyone, you better head to the shelters! This is April Onawa reporting out!"

The broadcast of the women in the yellow jumpsuit vanished and it returned to the news station. Squall pressed a button to close the transmission. "Well, it's clear Kira is not wasting any time selling his own story to the public. At this rate, unless the truth is revealed soon, he will have the entire Lylat Kingdom believing he is their savior, and that we are the traitors. He really thought this through."

Doug emitted a angry groan before he cracked his neck." Of course he was, he pulled off the perfect betrayal and we fell right in to it! Seriously how did we not see this coming? I did not trust the dude since the first day I got here, he has always thought he was better then us!"

Cloud and many of the other Enji look frustrated before Doug's team leader answered with," I know it may seem obvious in hind site Doug. But, despite how dismissive Kira was to anyone besides himself, few thought he really would take his zeal to such extreme lengths, that his desire to see his own version of justice realized was so extreme that he would kill his own comrades, and anyone that does not agree with his idea of the perfect order. But, we got the picture now, and that means we just have to act fast to insure Kira does not get away with this any longer!"

Zero looked at the screen and shrugged." Well if you want to stop him in time for it to matter you all will have to act fast. He already gave us orders to terminate the Enji. Good thing we don't feel like following them."

X then added,"Alia told us that those Salvation Soldiers and the Titans commanding them were on the move throughout the entire universe to kill any Enji Knight on sight."

Lloyd got upset before responding with, "No, we can't just let him get away with this! We have to stop him now, before he is able to kill any more Enji."

Kratos then retorted with, "Not to mention any other person who disagrees with his rule. I never imagined Kira was this much of a clandestine totalitarian. When the people see his true ideals, I wonder how long they will follow him. But, then again, Kira will likely just crush those that defy him, all the more reason that this madness must end."

Hiryuumon then looked around and gulped. "Hey guys, don't forget the most important thing! The boss is going to be executed soon if we don't do something!"

Cloud patted the Digimon on the head and smirked."Don't worry, we did not forget and we are all determined to make sure Kira does not bring down his cruel justice on Ben. The only problem, Kira knows this too."

Yamamoto then added a grim, "Kira has always been one of the best military tacticians in the Enji Knights, and maybe the entire cosmos. He already has the castle and the city in lock down formation and is surely laying a trap for us."

Lacus' father then pressed a button and displayed a map of Neo Arcadia before he sighed."Being the capital of the Lylat Kingdom, this city can have quite a fortification. When Xehamaru unleashed his surprise invasion, it was too late, under normal circumstances entering the city can be nigh impossible. You see, there is more than the planet's energy barrier protecting it. On high alert it has a second barrier around it to form a cocoon of sorts. And it's not just the outside; it's from underground too."

Lacus then gave her father a dire look as she responded with "So, you're saying it's impossible to get inside, father?"

The member of the now dysfunctional subcommittee looked at his child and smiled confidently."Not impossible, my dear, just extremely difficult. There are only two possible ways to penetrate the defenses. Either the not so subtle way of unleashing an attack with the power to break through, or find a way to follow someone who can pass through."

Cloud replied with,"So, what do you propose, Mister Raystar?"

Axl then chuckled and stated, "It's rather straightforward, we take the next schedule ride into the city and get the jump on those Titans!"

X saw the puzzled look on many people before him and cleared his throat."I'll elaborate. Kira still thinks we are hunting mavericks, which at the moment are you guys. We will pretend to have captured some of you and will have a Titan's train let us through. And at that point we can knock them out, and take it from there."

Barret laughed when he got the picture and stated."A train jacking, eh? Oh that brings me back. "

Cloud smirked as he looked around. "I think this plan is shaping up to be a winner. Kira may have more of the Titans waiting for us, but that's just the risk we have to take as Enji."

Zoda then gave his allies a firm look before he took a deep breath."Stay some of us must, to defend the wounded here. Take part I will in this mission. Much to say do I to Kira about this, much to say."

Yamamoto then grasped his staff tightly before he responded with," "If that is the case, then I will help defend Hollowed Bastion from any follow up attacks. Who is willing to take part in this mission? Kira will be defended by the Titans and the Enji that follow him. And may I remind you, it's likely Kira's powers even dwarf Xehamaru and the Inquisitors."

Doug then pumped his fist in the air and shouted out, "I am in, I don't care how strong Kira is. I am ready to smash him through this planet for all the stuff he put us and especially our buddy through!"

James nodded and Cloud's eyes were full with resolve as he looked around."I think all of the members of Squad 7 are ready to take the risk."

Many other Enji also move forward and Lacus then stated,"Cloud, would it be okay if I was with Squad 7 for this mission?"

No one was expecting this and Brad, who was just leaning on the left wall, heard this and nearly snapped the pillar he was on and stomped right over to her and snorted out," You want to do what? Why the hell are you going to join them?"

Lacus looked at Brad and paused before she responded with,"I have to make sure Ben is rescued, no matter what."

Brad was getting madder by the second as he turned red."And why are you going to risk your neck for psycho boy? Benny Boy's getting what he deserved for going ape on us! Huh?"

Brad turned around and saw that everyone was glaring at him.

Doug then glared at Brad before he snapped back with,"Watch it, Brad, you're way out of line!"

Brad snickered and spat on the ground before he put up his hands in a mock shrug."I'm just saying! He is the one who got so messed up he turned into that Idious guy! It's his own fault that he could not handle the job!"

Lacus looked down and looked solemn as she eyed her boyfriend."No Brad, it's not just his fault. Ben was suffering for so long. And I, we let him down as his friends. The burden of his responsibility, the betrayals of those close to him one after another, and the heavy, unrelenting pressure Kira put onto him.

I see it now, he was trying to reach out for help, but I, but we did not see it in time. He was so overwhelmed that he, he had a mental breakdown."

"And your point is?" The tall man crassly responded with."

"Because he is my friend, Brad! I won't let him be thrown away like garbage! I have to help him, and that is why I made up my mind. I will do all in my power to do whatever it takes to save Ben."

Brad then looked at her resolve before his eye twitched. "Bah, now you're just being crazy woman."

Erich looked at Brad and cleared his throat."It may not be the safest decision, but if this keeps up, no one that goes against the will of Kira will be safe. I respect your decision, Lacus, but please promise me you will be careful."

Lacus smiled at her father before nodding."Thank you, father. Don't worry, I will be careful."

Brad then gave a cocky grin and shrugged."Oh well, if you're going, then I'll tag along too! No way will I let my girl be in the targeting zone of those smug Titans!"

James looked at Brad and reposition his glasses."I don't think you and us on the same squad will work so well. Call it a difference of personality conflict."

Brad just narrowed his eyes before he responded with a macho, "Oh, come on, you know the main man is the only one who can clobber Kira till he's done for the count!"

Lacus then went up to Brad and held his hand while saying,"Brad, I appreciate your enthusiasm as always, but I think for this plan there is a better way to use your, let's say fighting spirit."

Brad was puzzled at the response and quickly raised a eyebrow. "What you getting at, gal?"

Lacus then turned to the projection of the city and shrugged."Well, to divert Kira's attention, we will need someone with a lot of power and stamina to lure the main defense forces. And who can get everyone's attention better than you?"

"Hey, which sounds like it might be a good idea. Yeah, I'll show the whole blasting Titan's Special Forces that all the power they have can't compare to the most powerful fighter in the cosmos! And if Kira himself shows up, then I'll show once and for all who is top dog! Hahahah, you're a genius like always, Lacus!"

Cloud took a deep breath before he nodded."Yah...Brad...with maybe a few others supporting him, can lure the main attack force while the rest try and break into the castle."

Erich crossed his arms before nodding, "You will not be alone. Not everyone in the Lylat Kingdom is ready to just accept Kira's new rule. My friends General Antilles and Anderson will be able to support you, and I think I can get you in contact with the Star Fox team and Nick Fury as well."

Auron then stepped forward, and looked around. "We should get ready; every second wasted, the situation gets worse."

Cloud then looked at the screen, now showing the city beginning to enter lock-down mode and grasped his fist tightly."Alright, hang on Ben, we are coming. And Kira, it's time you see your justice is not as absolute as you think!"

With this, the Enji all get ready for what might be their most dangerous mission yet.

While the warriors of light mobilize, we shifted our view to another one, no other than Ben! Not much has changed for the confused and broken wielder of the Star Sword. Still locked tight in his repentance cell, and locked securely in an high tech straitjacket and an energy containment filed, he had nearly fallen asleep when he saw the door open.

The one who entered was Revolver Ocelot. As he walked in with two commandos, he looked at Ben and had the energy chains binding Ben violently bring him down from the wall to snap Ben back to attention. Ben just looked at the much older man and wearily muttered,"Look, if you're going to kill me, just get it done with already! Just end this now."

Ocelot looked amused and lashed out with a snide,"So eager to die, are we? Well too bad punk, your death will happen at its designated time. The universe does not revolve around you, Auro!"

"Then what are you here for, mocking me?"

"Something like that. Hey, but also wanted to remind you that we are going to transfer you to the site of the Soukyou. This way, any of the Enji that is foolish enough to try and save you, will get added in to the ceremony so we can we can make things nice and quick!"

Ben just laughed and bitterly retorted with,"Thanks for trying to make me feel special, but I don't think you will have to worry about that. After what I did, I don't think anyone will come for me now. Everyone must hate me by now."

"Meh..it's not like we think you have many friends you retarded failure. I don't think anyone would want to rescue a good for nothing psychopath. But if any Enji survive Order 66, they will be their usual foolish selves and make a last stand against Kira.

There has been enough disorder under the old watch, but that all ends now that the proper leaders are in place. Once we crush you, the light of the hope for fools, all idiots that have plans for rebellion will have second thoughts. Hah, enjoy your last moments kid."

As the two commandos lowered Ben's confinement field down to move him. Ocelot then flicked a cigar at Ben's face just to mock him further, but the Enji was to broken willed to even react. Ben just looked at the sky while saying,"Hope? What hope is there? In the end, my whole life was nothing but a failure. I wanted so hard to be somebody my whole life. But no matter how hard I trained, or how much I suffered, it was never enough. And, now it seems that all I could do was be a pawn of the darkness.

No wonder everyone rejected me. Still, I just wish I could figure what is going on. At the very least, I want my friends to be safe. I caused everyone enough pain already, I don't want to make people suffer anymore."

Ben just stayed silent as he was transported. Little does he know though, that unlike what he thinks, his friends have not given up to him, and their plan to rescue him and bring down Kira is about to commence!

We turned to a few hours later, it's the outskirts of Neo Arcadia, and in fact it's the slums of the Under Sector's nearly rundown train station. The Titans are currently using it to transfer more prisoners. The officer of the unit was just about to move the train into the city, when he saw none other than Samus Aran land down on the station in her spaceship, with a large steel box attached to it, after her visit to planet Venom.

The soldiers saluted the blue maverick hunter and the leader cleared his throat."Samus Aran, a pleasure to meet one of the best bounty hunters in the cosmos in person. May I ask what is in that box?"

Samus looked at him and stated,"I have completed part of my mission. In here are a dozen of the Enji that were put up as traitors. I put them in here to show King Kira personally, so I could get the reward. You should have gotten the transmission I sent half an hour ago."

The Salvation commando then ordered his men to move the box and nodded. "Yes, we heard that you and the elite trio of maverick hunters Axl, Zero, and Mega-Man X had worked together to neutralize a large amount of the Enji traitors."

Samus just pressed buttons on her visor and stated,"Well, they are Enji Knights, after all. It's not your normal job, even for me."

"Yes, the Enji were quite fast, but they could not fool master Kira. Their destruction will make clear that no one can defy the rule of our new supreme King. You have done a great service to uphold Justice, Samus Aran."

Samus saw the soldiers pressed the button to lower the door on the box down and she then stepped back and responded with a cold,"Well, I don't do this thing for the pay, part of the incentive is making sure crooks get what they deserve.

And that's why; I made sure this one was done right. Oh yeah, and you might want to duck."

Just as the Officer was about to ask why, all of a sudden he heard a few loud grunts and saw his soldiers go flying! He then saw Cloud, Doug, James, Hiryuumon, and Lacus all emerged from the box. He then raised his plasma magnum and stated,"What? You fool, you failed to kill them? Die Enji Do, RAH!"

Before he could pull the trigger, he found himself feeling what it's like to be hit by a full powered charge shot from the bounty hunter from the Chozo. The commando is blasted out of the park and the rest of the soldiers in the area come running with guns blazing. However, even if they are elite soldiers, the Enji were in no mood for games, and quickly dispatched them.

When it's clear that the last soldier was down, Lacus breathed a sigh of relief."Whew, I am glad that went according to plan."

Cloud looked at Samus and shrugged."Thanks for helping on such short notice, Samus. You do know if this fails you will be labeled a traitor, as well as if you manage to survive, right?"

Samus just put her arm cannon into the train door to start disabling security and shrugged back."Meh, they were already angry at me for shutting down their top secret Metroid breeding program, so it's nothing new. And, in any case, I just have to make sure those that will be angry are not in power much longer to do anything about it.

I knew something foul was surrounding Kira lately, but I did not think he would try and wipe out the Enji. Oh well, job opportunities knock at the most unexpected of times. Alright, I disabled the ID security, so now we can take this to Neo Arcadia station."

Cloud then stated,"Alright, Squad 7 and guests, our newest mission begins now. Our primary objective is to break through the security, and slash a path into the White Castle, where Ben is being held. Once there, we will have to fight many of the elite members of the Titans, and if Ezan is still loyal to Kira, after all this, then maybe even him as well."

Doug then cracked his neck as he grit out a angry, "Damn it, Ezan! If he has any pride at all, he would not do any more dirty work for that two faced freak!"

James sighed before responding with,"Well, we all know how devout he is about justice. And I do remember hearing that his father, who by the way, is head of the spying unit, is a staunch supporter of Kira."

Cloud just responded with a stoic, "Everyone follows their own path, but some are more correct than others. All that matters now is that Kira has twisted his path with his enlarged ego and is trying to make the entire cosmos follow his. For the sake of the survival of the Enji order, and for the stability of the Lylat Kingdom, he must be stopped now! Alright, let's move out."

Hiryuumon got excited and added,"Alright, hang on boss, we are coming! All aboard!"

The group moved in and got the train moving to head into the city. As it headed to the capital of the planet, at the same time, the other three Enji groups have managed to hitch rides around the same time, thanks to the trap they planned with the three hunters. Their plan managed to work and all four trains were able to go through the energy barrier thanks to X, Zero, Samus, and Axl all having working clearance ID's.

However, even though they were able to get past the barrier without alerting any alarms, little do they know how hard it is to dupe Kira.

Back in the now fully transformed Outer Heaven, Kira was in the throne room once more, sitting on, but of course, the throne looking over the failed reports from his Salvation Storm-troopers that have failed to kill the majority of the Enji. He then narrows his eyes before he emits a emotionless,"I expected they would not be easy to quiet, but what I did not expect was for so many others to defend them.

Why are so many people blind to the truth? Are they really that deluded that they would rather die than accept reality? Well, knowing them I suppose they are the type that will be deluded till the end. Tsc, in the end, it makes no difference. Anyone who is foolish enough to rally with the Enji will die along with them. Ah, what is it Garma?"

Kira then saw Ezan's father enter and salute before he stated,"My liege, I thought you would like to know we lost brief contact with four units. They reported in, but something was off. Their report was brief and unspecific.

The younger man leaned forward before muttering a blunt,"You think the Enji have sneaked on board?"

"My most logical theory is that they have gotten the support from factions loyal to them and the previous king have helped them get through security."

Kira closed his eyes as he muttered, "How predictable. Even after only barely surviving my judgment, they now try and rescue that failure of a hero. I fail to see their logic. They will risk total annihilation to rescue one who could only amount to a failure?

Father, you truly taught the Enji very faulty logic. To be bound by such worthless emotional attachment is the very embodiment of weakness. Very well, if they insist on making one last, futile, last stand then I shall be more than willing to accommodate them!"

Tell Ocelot, Tosen,Bask, Akainu, Dewy, Smoker, and Gin to alert all soldiers to condition red. And, activate the Destroy Gundams and the Psyco-Gundam Mark II."

Garma was caught off guard by this and cleared his throat."All of them? They were meant to be used against attacking fleets. If they are deployed in the city against such small targets, they could cause untold collateral damage, and the probability of untold deaths could be, huh?"

The head of the Kaiba family suddenly stopped when he saw how coldly Kira was looking at him. The look seemed to make the room quiet enough to hear a pin-drop before Kira at last quietly answered with,"Are you questioning my orders? I am quite clear in my instructions. They have the firepower needed to deal with the Enji, and a little damage is acceptable to once and for all silence this threat. I assumed you and I shared the same line of thought Garma. Don't be worried about such a minor thing as the public reaction. They will react how I tell them to react. Now, tell them to deploy them now."

Garma saluted and left the room. Kira then looked at the sky before closing his eyes."Tsc...you can try and defy destiny, my former comrades, but it's too late. Now, it's time I show everyone that I am truly the most fit out of all the beings in this cosmos to lead it to its proper form."

Kira started to issue more commands, but now our view returns to our heroes.

Squad 7 and co had just seen their train land in Grand Arcadia station. While the place was normally jam packed with citizens from throughout the vast reaches of space, when the good guys stepped out, they see that the place is partially a ghost town. Lacus stepped out of the train and glanced around tensely."My, it seems Kira was expecting trouble. I guess the curfew for the city is already in effect."

Cloud stepped out and checked for any soldiers, while responding with a reassured, "This is good, though, if we encounter the guards here, we can fight without restraint. But, in any case, let's try and move fast, we have to save our energy for far more deadly opponents than grunts."

Samus then checked the area out with her scan visor and says,"Alright, security is tight, but I think I figured out the fastest route to sector zero, the castle. Follow my lead and try not to get in the sight of any cameras, so we don't blow our cover."

Doug then cracked his knuckles and flashed another half-lopped smirk."Don't worry, we will move so fast, they won't even have time to blink! Whoa what the?"

The blond man was about to sprint, when suddenly, he heard a shot and saw an energy bullet dashing for his head. He ducked just in time, as it blasted the train door. Everyone instantly got into fighting stance as James stated,"They know we were here? But, we did not trigger any alarms! And I don't sense any magic energy, either."

Samus then scanned the area with her visor and responded with a annoyed,"That's because they are stealth troops. Their gear is top class; even I have not seen some of the equipment they have. However, let's see if I can't drag them out of the shadows with this!"

The Chozo Bounty hunter then dodged a barrage of energy bolts by dashing to the side and unleashing a full powered Wave Buster at her targets.

The powerful blast of purple electricity blasted its targets dead on, and the Enji hear about five voices all yelled out in pain. Five soldiers then appeared before them as the bounty hunter's attack seemed to fry their cloaking devices. They saw that they look more armored and larger than the normal Salvation Storm troopers. Cloud grit his teeth as he dug down."These must be the special dark troopers I heard about. Be careful, if the rumors are true, they are androids."

Doug then raised a eyebrow before he blurted out,"What? Now you're saying Kira is turning his solders into true war machines? Give me a break! Just get out of our way, plastic boys!"

The martial artist of Squad 7 dashed right in front of the nearest soldier and punched him in the chest so hard, he was sent through a wall. Doug was shocked when he saw the soldier get back up. The martial arts expert then shrugged."Er, guess it's true, after all. Oh well, all it means is you're going to get an even worse beat down if you don't know what is good for you!"

The soldier then used his built-in jet pack to quickly fly back in formation with the others and he charges up his gun before snarling out,"Enji scum, you should have run away when you could! Now, die for opposing the new world!"

They all fired powerful charged energy blasted that seem to have been made to mimic X's and Samus' own charge shots. However, Lacus flash stepped in front of the others and calmly puts up an energy barrier in front of her to neutralize the shots before saying, "I won't allow you to stop us. Please stand aside."

The squad leader took out an energy sword in response."You brat, don't underestimate us! Focus all fire power on her!"

The soldiers then all surrounded her and fire missiles from their shoulders! However, Lacus gracefully jumped high in the air to avoid it and then knocked them all out with one blow each.

She then landed like an acrobat and flicked her hair back. The Enji made sure they were all out and turned to wink."That should do it. Come on, we should hurry, before reinforcements arrive."

Cloud gave off a smile of an approval before responding with,"Nice work, Lacus. Alright, let's stick to the plan and move as fast as possible out of the station to meet up with the others at the rendezvous point. Once there, we can hopefully fight our way into the castle."

They all hear in the distance lots of yelling and Samus responded with a dry, "Well, if you guys don't want the plan to get shot down, then we should move now! Here, I'll make a short cut, so step back."

Samus then motioned the others to the ceiling and switched to her plasma beam before firing a powerful blast that melted the top away.

They all jumped through the hole and moved out. They then spent the next couple of minutes fighting through more types of Salvation soldiers as well as various other obstacles like the robotic, bipedal, Gecko pursuit droids and other war machines. However, our heroes are determined and won't let these mass produced soldiers of order stop them.

After making it to the city, they see that nearly all the people seem to be in the shelters on Kira's orders. Some stubborn ones were still there, but when they see the Enji Knights and hear various weapons going off, they quickly run away.

Hiryuumon saw this and got confused before he unleashed a baffled,"Why are they all afraid of us, all of a sudden? We have been protecting them for so long, why would they believe that we are against them all of a sudden?"

James looked down and answered the digimon's question with a disgruntled,"A lot of people are quick to turn their backs on whatever they can't understand. While it's true the Enji are looked up to and admired by many, we are feared by just as many, because of nothing more than having more power than the normal man or woman.

People are afraid of what they cannot understand and some have a fear that is so irrational that it pushes their views to the extremes. And when Kira said that the Enji are trying to take over those people embraced that view to conform their views."

Cloud then added, "Kira has always been good at twisting his words to play to peoples desires. However, he can't just pretend things only work the way he thinks they should. From the south came Zero, Lloyd, Auron, Rid, Sabin, Rikku, Kratos and the rest of their group came to meet Cloud.

From the north came Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit, Iceman, Storm, Psylock, and a few more of the" X-Men."

Zoda was causally walking with his staff and stated, "Ah, happy I am to see everyone has made it."

As energy blasts came from him in all directions he laughed and stood there as the blasts bounced right off him.

A humanoid robot with only a organic face got off a jet cycle before putting his gun at Brad." Hault! You are under arrest! Come quietly, Or There Will Be...Trouble!"

Brad glanced at the robocop before he spat on the ground." Heh, I'm What You Call A Repeat Offender! I think I'm going to offend again tincan!"

The bulky man stomped the ground so hard that Robo-Cop fell over. Brad quickly kicked it away before spitting out," I'll tell you what, I'd Buy That punching bag For A Dollar!"

The highest ranked member of the group, Mouar Pharoah in her Galbthey mobile suit declared,"Bah, that's the last time we trust security to Omni Consumer Products. Still, You dare act so bold, Enji!? You won't be shown mercy for this, you will die here and your body will be splattered to make a symbol to those who defy the rule of law!"

Brad just responded with a gruff,"Heh, you elitist titans can throw what ever you want at me! I'll smash you all like the puny punks you are! Heh, I guess Lacus had the right idea after all. With everyone already gone, I can cut loose without having to worry about being nagged at and show them all what the main man can really do! Bah, and when I am done, even Kira himself will have to bow before the unrivaled power of the "Unstoppable Juggernaut"!

Brad caused his magic energy to create a shock-wave that blasted everyone around him, and also toppled the buildings around him. Everyone saw this and James sighed while saying,"Well, at least his impulsive combative nature is being useful for once."

The Enji then saw the White Castle, hovering above the buildings, sort of like the gardens SeeD used from Squall's world. They also saw an additional energy barrier covering it.

Hiryuumon wagged his tail before he rubbed his head. "Hey, isn't that the White Castle? What is it doing flying above the city?"

X then tensed up as he answered with,"Oh no, I did not think Kira would use that already! He transformed the White Castle to its ultimate defense formation, Outer Heaven! In this form, it has the offensive and defensive capabilities to take out a fleet!"

Zero then braced himself as he reacted with,"So, just what are we supposed to do now?"

They heard a loud voice laugh from some sort of microphone and it declared,"It's quite obvious, do what all traitors do, and die!"

Everyone then saw large spotlights break out from above and shine down on the Enji, and several Titan's battleships were now revealed to be seen guarding the city, including the Jupritis!

Sure enough, Titan's diehard commander, Paptimus Scirocco, was in front of the mobile suits in his own custom golden suit, The O!

Cloud then grit his teeth and powered up his magic energy while saying,"Scirocco!? Tsc...should have known you would have been eager to lead Kira's "Crusade of justice". Get out of our way, we have no time for you! This madness ends here!"

The purple haired man laughed before aiming his cannons at the Enji."Well, it seems you Enji are defiant to the end. But it won't save you this time. Your wrong you know, your the ones showing sighs of madness refusing to accept reality. For in the end, people need to be properly guided. History is manipulated by a handful of geniuses. Like us. Naive fools like you just drag things down and assure that nothing ever changes. They need an absolute leader to guide them out of there own weakness! But of course you refuse to understand that.

Cloud was about to charge at the titans before he saw three men with swords come out of the front door. The center one was a man with brown eyes and long crimson hair welding six-part segmented blade. The one to the left of him was a bald man with a Kikuchi (spear) with a wax wood shaft, while on the right was a man with short blue hair and colorful feathers on his right eyelashes and eyebrow while welding a sickle-shaped blade.

Doug paused before he spat on the ground." Got more dumbasses who want a ass kicking? Find get in line I'm already to hand out beat downs for everyone!"

Cloud winced before he looked around. " Damn, those are Enji! Renji Abarai, Ikkaku Madarame, Yumichika Ayasegawa, what are you doing?"

"Are jobs Cloud." The man named Renji uttered as he got into a fighting stance." We are given jobs to keep intruders out of Outer Heaven, and that's just what we are going to do!"

The bald man, Ikkau smirked as he rubbed his head." And just are luck, its going to lead to a battle! I better do the happy dance to thank lady luck!"

Cloud paused before he narrowed his eyes." Damn it...were you guys asleep all day? Did you just sleep through order 66?"

Yumichika sighed before he closed his eyes." We know what happened Strife, but we have are orders. Are loyalty is to Kira, we own everything to him. As regrettable as it is to fight former comrades, it would be even more regrettable for justice to not be realized."

He carried a sword strapped to his back, and wore a mask that resembled a cat's face covered in green, and red intricate markings, and the titans logo tattoo on his left shoulder.

Zoda saw the man and sighed." Most dismayed I am, seeing you act like this Yamato."

A shorter male with straight black hair, and dark eyes which contrasted with his translucent-looking pale skin ran up to Yamato and keeled down." Ready sir."

Zidane nearly got impaled by a emerging wood spike before he jumped back and moaned." Hey I thought this place could use more trees but this is nuts!"

Cloud slashed another branch and realized everyone was getting cut off from each other before he glared at Yamato." Damn...he's trying to cut us off! Have to, huh?"

He saw Renji charge at him before the red haired man with the segmented blade roared out," Its over Cloud! Howl Zabimaru!"

Renji lashed out with his blade to wrap it around Cloud's sword, causing the First Sword to be wrapped up. James saw this and winced before aiming at Renji." Damn it, not going to let a mere change in terrain get us!"

Sai jumped up before saying," Oh its so much more then that. Sorry, orders are orders. Sealing Technique: Tiger Vision Staring Bullets!"

The pale man suddenly took out a scroll and with a brush drew a tiger, before it glowed, and jumped out. Sabin heard the tiger growl before he grit his teeth." This kid can use magic like Rem?"

"Big deal, I cut down Behemoths twice the size of this!" Zidane cried out as he slashed the creation of ink. As he slashed it the tailed Enji smirked, before he saw it suddenly explode in his face. Zidane fell to the ground before he grasped his arms." Ugh, this thing...is making me feel dizzy."

Lacus saw the ink before she jumped back." Careful, the ink is meant to bind your magical energy! They are trying to overwhelm us!"

Doug kicked a tree truck down before he glared at Sai." Throw every art project you traitors have its not going to be enough!" Huh?"

Before he could charge at Sai, he saw Ikkaku charge at him. He quickly caught the spear before the bald man grinned." Man, you talk big but your still to green to act like the big shot blonde!"

The member of Squad 7 cried out as blades of energy erupted across his gauntlets and grieves. Ikkau spun his transformed blades around before he and Doug struck each other. James saw Doug have a wild grin before he rolled his eyes." Damn it Doug, we have no margin for error here and you making things worst is not helping."

James saw Yumichika coming at him and quickly fired a energy arrow at his opponent. Yumichiika slashed the arrow in half with his shotel like blade, only for James to flash step behind him. The Quincy saw his opponent transform his sword into a number of glowing peacock feather-like vines, and swore as he fired a barrage of arrows. Cloud saw both Doug and James looking stressed before he glared at Renji." Damn it, you all going to make this even more pointless then it already is?"

Renji used power to levitate the disconnected or broken segments of Zabimaru into the air, allowing him to execute a one-shot omni-directional attack. Cloud saw the attacks coming for him and narrowed his eyes." Enough, Finishing Touch!"

The Spiky haired Enji Captain unleashed his tornado like Limit Break to blow away all the blades. Renji got knocked back before he glared at the warrior of light in front of him." Damn you Cloud...you won't make a fool out of me! I have to win...if I do, the commander will free Momo from her false charges! For her sake I have to win! Hihiō Zabimaru...Baboon Bone Cannon!"

Renji's aura erupted before his broken blades transformed into a skeleton of a snake the size of a car. The snake roared and charged at Cloud while also gathering red energy in his mouth, but the Enji with Mako eyes just had his energy flared up." Your pride? Cloud unleashed his other Limit Break, and it was powerful enough to get into a beam struggle with Renji's attack. Hiryuumon saw everyone fighting bitterly, and winced as he looked at Lacus." Hey, did Kira brainwash these guys like he did to me and the Boss? They were are friends right? Why are we fighting now?"

Lacus sighed before she slashed in half a incoming ink tiger with her energy ribbon and looked down." I don't think they are being mind controlled Hiryuumon. Sadly, they for one reason or another think that Kira is doing the right thing, and to save Ben we have to get past them."

"Piff...figures an arrogant spoiled brat would twist things to her favor." A harsh male voice uttered. Lacus turned around and saw a muscular, white-haired and brown-eyed man, that was smoking two cigars at once.

He wore a large thick white and blue specialist marine jacket which he kept open, with greenish fur lining the neck, wrists, and hem. The jacket bore the kanji for "justice" (正義 Seigi?) written on the back of it. Many cigars are strapped to the jacket...and he had a Jitte blade drawn.

Lacus eyed the man carefully before she winced." You, I remember you in that mission in Ivalice, Smoker the White Hunter? I don't have time for you right now."

"Well make time woman, your not getting out of your judgment." Smoker uttered crassly as he got into a fighting stance." I knew you were to naive to be a real soldier girlie. Bah, time to get you out of the way so the real soldiers can get the job done."

"Ugh, I'm tired of men like you looking down on me, if your going to get in the way then you can only blame yourself when this is over."

The Enji tried to take her foot out, only for the smoke to solidify and freeze her limb in place. Lacus saw the smoke start to spread to her limbs before her attacker smirked." Just one moment will cost you everything girl. But don't worry, your going to have a long time to think about, huh?"

Hiryuumon growled loud enough to cause Smoker to look at him, and the Digimon narrowed his eyes." I was not sure who the bad guys were here but your looking really fishy , and smokey to me jerk! Like the boss told me once, where there's smoke there is fire! Ether Flame!"

The dragon unleashed his fireball, and Smoker saw his smoke start to ignite before he caused all the smoke to vanish. The man with many cigars quickly dashed back before he snickered." Damn...forgot we have a legit fire breather rat among you. Whatever, only have to choke the mutt out. White Snake! Huh?"

Smoker started to get smokey, till he noticed he was surrounded by a magenta barrier. He realized Lacus had cast a barrier to trap him before she narrowed her eyes." If you can't spread out, guess your trapped like smoke in a jar eh? Sorry, but I don't have time for this."

Lacus was about to unleash another attack when she heard a shot being fired, and ducked. She then heard another gruff voice utter," Sorry, but time's up for this little rebellion of yours girl."

She saw that the new man was a tall man with a long, vibrant red hair and a Phantom of the Opera-esque mask on the right side of his face. He had a goatee and eyes the same shade of red as his hair and wore wire-framed glasses. The new man glanced at Smoker before he snickered." Thought you were better then this Smoker."

"Sorry General Cross...got to worked up."

"Then I'll have to bail you out of this, you own me a drink. Enji, one shot is for all you did to everyone here... And all the rest are because you messed up my clothing with this stunt. Raystar, heard your something special. But can your barriers keep back the bullets my Judgment puts out? Lets find out!"

Cross had a wild look on his face before he took out his white large caliber autorevolver." Based on what I heard, one way or another a mutant like you had to be put down anyway! Arrow Of Original Sin!"

Lacus braced herself as Cross had his gun take the shape of a demon-like bow around Judgment as a cross symbol appeared in front of it before it fired. But as it fired the projectile was suddenly frozen in midair. As Cross looked, cross at this a older voice chuckled." Not hit you will Cross, not if I have anything to say about it."

Zoda then walked up, showing he was using his magical energy to force the projectile to freeze. Cross saw Zoda's calm look at had his eye twitch." Tsc, your a tough geezer, but not tough enough to get out of this!"

As Cross and Zoda tried to overpower each other, Scirocco saw the Enji were still standing and frowned at those who were fighting under him." Having second thoughts? Sentimentality will destroy you. His suit then waved its hand and all the warships then deployed mobile suits, however they were not normal Gundams. The Enji saw five thirty six meter black mobile suits landed with a thud and when fully stretched out, they were nearly as large as the buildings themselves. Armed with all sorts of heavy weaponry on their arms, chest, and back, they were the very deadly Destroy Gundams.

Cloud glanced around and grit his teeth as he tried to keep Renji's attack back. "Damn, so those are the Destroy Gundams, the Titan's machines used to level entire fleets? Wait, oh no!?"

As everyone was distracted the five Destroy Gundam's all started charging up before Scirocco declared," If you push beyond your limits, you're bound to take a fall! And this is your limit Enji! Hahahaha! DIE!"

The five large machines all had their eyes glow and moved forward, and Renji saw the giant black mobile suits get ready to fire before he winced." Wait...not like this! No!"

The Destroy Gundam's all opened fire while the Enji were distracted, and Yamato saw this before he cursed." We, we were just bait? Damn you Scirocco! AHH!"

He, Sai, Renji, and most of the others who attacked the Enji on the magically summoned tree were hit by the men that were suppose to be there comrades as the entire tree was sent ablaze.

Lacus, Zoda, and the other magic users cast magic to defend or redirect the attacks, but they still got blown around. Cloud endured the bombardment, but saw Renji had a piece of the tree fallen on him, and had flash backs to when Zach was cut down by Shinra soldiers back in Midgar before he grit his teeth." You used them all just to make us easier to blow away? No, I failed Zach, but I won't let down my friend's to such treachery again!"

Hiryuumon nodded as he growled." That's for sure Cloud! Part of me thought me and the boss might have deserved to suffer for hurting so many good people, but now they are just treating there own guys like trash! No way...I'm not letting Ben down to guys like this!"

Scirocco winced as he realized that Yamato in a last second feeling of either spite or regret used his magic to have his tree launch most of the Enji out of the way of the attacks, and thus the bombardment seemed to have taken out more of his own forces then the Enji.

He glanced at the Digimon in shock."What, you were reported to have been deleted. In any case, be quiet, you stupid digimon! Such naked emotion, there is no way such base creatures will defeat our superior forces with such primal emotions! This is the end of the line for you scum; you should have wised up and left your fallen comrade to die!"

"Never!" The Digimon cried out." We will never let the boss be killed to cover up for Kira's mad ideals! That's it, I'll tear a path to rescue him, if I have to thrash the lot of you! Hiryuumon, double Digivole to!"

He then glowed with a large light and grows as he transforms to his ultimate stage form. He then emerged from the light and yelled out," Geno-Wyrmmon!"

Zoda then took out his own weapon and stated,"Divert their fire we must, spread out!"

Scirocco saw the Enji looked resolved before he narrowed his eyes." Stella Loussier... you must not let these enemies escape understand?"

The blond woman piloting the center Destroy Gundam glared at all the Enji." I'll erase all of them! Every last horror that lurks out in the shadows!"

"That's right Stella...if you don't the scary things will kill us and all the good people in the universe!"

Two of the Destroy Gundam's 200mm Zorn Mk2 energy cannons form their heads and the Enji used their flash steps to avoid the blasts right as they disintegrate a large chunk of the block they were standing in.

As Cloud saw the other ones open fire, he winced."Damn Kira, is he even willing to total the city he swore to protect, to take care of us?"

Geno-Wyrmmon then flew to the closest one and roared out,"Don't worry, I'll blow this one up fast! Trinity Fury Cannon!"

The large metal dragon then fired off a powerful triple energy blast from his mouth and cannons right at the chest of the triple sized machine. However, the digimon was not getting the effect he was going for when he saw the Destroy Gundam merely deflecting it with its positron reflector shield.

The Digimon then winced."Okay, so this might be a little harder than I thought. AH!"

Geno-Wyrmmon was then caught off guard when the large black machine detached its hand and had it deliver a rocket punch to slammed the Digimon through a building.

As Cloud saw the hand continue to barrage the Enji with green blasts from its remote controlled hand, Cloud deflected the shots coming his way."It's clear Kira did not have these built just for show. However, it's not the first time I dealt with over-sized toys. And like the Proud Clod, the bigger they are, the harder they fall!"

Another Destroy Gundam marched up before its male pilot declared," Surrender mutants...or perish!"

Cyclops put his hands up before answering with," Of course..not!" The man with the visor then unleashed a massive red optic blast to hit the Destroy Gundam back. As it was knocked back, Doug then charged at the machine and as he dodged the blasts coming his way, he yelled out,"Hell, yeah! Time to destroy these pesky Destroy Gundams! Hammer of Might!"

The blond man then channeled his magic energy into his fist and punched the right leg of it so hard that it wobbled. Cloud then saw this and dashed at it while saying,"Yes, keep at it. While its firepower is high, it takes time to lock onto its target. And I don't plan on giving it time to lock on! Cross Slash!"

Cloud then took an enhanced leap and quickly delivered a powerful formation of sword struck on the machine's chest just as it was about to fire a powerful blast from it.

The attack damaged the chest area and its pilot responds by trying to blow the spiky haired hero, with its many composite cannons armed on its rather large backpack! However, a renewed Geno-Wyrmmon was preparing to give the machine a piece of its mind and stated"Let's see how you like surprise, big guy! Striking Crusher Claw!"

The powerful digital monster then slammed its powered up claw into the machine's back, and damaged it heavily. Doug then dashed forward and used his magic energy to run right up to the machine, while saying,"You're done! Timber! Oh yeah, and, Acrobat Locus!"

Doug then unleashed a blitz attack of blows right at the Destroy Gundam's head, and the deadly combo ended with Doug giving an uppercut that knocked its head off. Explosions broke out all over the colossal machine, before it at last fell down with a large thud.

The Enji landed on the ground and James smirked before shrugging. "Not bad, Doug."

Doug gave a thumbs up as he looked around. "Oh please, it was almost too easy!"

Cloud cleared his throat before glancing at his squad mates."They are formidable weapons, but even so, we just proved that Kira is overconfident if he thinks this will stop us."

They looked around and saw their friends were dealing with the other four Destroy Gundams.

To the left, Cloud saw X and Axl dodge another round of missiles from it before returning fire, only for their attacks to be deflected.

The Destroy Gundam then tried to finish them with its torso's particle cannon, but Squall, Rid, and Zero all jump up and combined their power to deflect the blast back at its sender. As the massive machine defended itself from its own blast, X took the opening, transformed to his Ultimate Armor form, and smashed right into it with his Nova Strike attack.

The power X put out was enough to shatter its shield, and X's partner, along with the Enji duo, then took their turn.

Zero attacked with his Ryuenjin attack while Squall unleashed his Blasting Zone limit brake with Rid finishing the barrage with his Burning Phoenix Mystic Art. This deadly trio of attacks overwhelmed the Destroy Gundam and it was slashed into pieces.

As the cockpit fell intact, Zero saw Stella screaming deliriously inside before he winced." That girl sure as hell does not seem like she wants to be here. Kira...what the hell are you doing?"

"Not sure, but another reason we have to shut this down fast." Squall uttered before the two warriors around him nodded.

Behind them another Destroy Gundam was firing in all directions before Wolverine glanced at his fellow X-men, the man of steel Colossus before he growled out," Your throwing arm better be ready tin man, its go time!"

Colossus nodded before hurling Wolverine at the mecha. While the man with the adamantium claws got hit, he endured the pain and clawed on to the Destroy Gundam's neck before yelling out," This one's for you Morph! Berserk Barrage X!"

The mutant unleashed a barrage of lighting fast claw slashes that manged to hack off the head of the mobile suit.

Meanwhile, to the right, the Destroy Gundam's pilot was getting a firsthand impression of the power of an Enji Master. No matter how many blasts were fired at the small red Master they were all unable to hit its target.

Zoda then saw the machine resume fire on the others and he decides to step his game up. His magic aura then flared up and he stated, "Harm from you, happen no more it will!"

He then used his power to create a powerful force push to nearly topple the Destroy Gundam! Its pilot activated the machines thrusters and flew up, to then try and smash Zoda by crushing him with his giant foot. It landed where the elder hero was and causes a massive shock-wave with its landing. However, when it landed, the pilots sensors still detected Zoda's massive power level and turned around to find Zoda behind him.

It prepared to open fire, only to suddenly find its hands falling apart. Zoda proved that despite his age he could still hold his position with ease, as by the time he lowered his sword, the Destroy Gundam fell and turned into scrap metal. Zoda then sighed and swept some dust off his coat."Size matters not, hard way they have learned."

We then turned back to Squad 7, who were just disposing some jet troopers who were foolish enough to think they could ambush the heroes. Cloud had just smashed the group's leader into the ground, when he saw Lacus and Samus made their way back to them. Lacus then stated, "Cloud, I think we can make a break for it, while the others handle this."

Cloud looked around and stated, "You're right, alright guys, let's move!"

Squad 7, along with Lacus and Samus, then burst to the direction of Outer Heaven, as the others finish off the Destroy Gundams. James saw that not many soldiers were getting in their way."Well, either they don't have many soldiers left that can move at this speed, or they are unable to track us. Either way, hopefully it means we can get in now. Huh?"

All of a sudden, they heard a large noise, and the ground beneath them was blown up. A new and even larger machine started to emerge, and James stated, "Er, or perhaps they were just saving the best for last."

The machine finished blasting out of the rubble and the group saw it's a purple variant of the Destroy Gundam.

Geno-Wyrmmon remembered seeing this mobile suit, it's the powerful "older brother" of the Destroy Gundam, the Psycho Gundam mark II.

Doug then gave a half lopped smile before he spat on the ground. "Bah, they think that a purple one that is maybe a little more powerful will make a difference?"

The Digimon then growled out,"Be careful, guys. The boss and I saw it in action when we were helping out Sonic. Kira used it and something called an Ark to crack open that Doctor Robotnik's Death Egg, like it was a...well...a walnut!"

James then aimed his energy bow at the machine and nodded."Maybe, but we have wasted enough time on guards, and it's important we keep on schedule, so get out of the way!"

James then fired a barrage of energy arrows at the giant machine. Lacus saw the energy arrows fly by and narrowed her eyes. "Yes, the more we wait, the less time we have! Radiant Burst!"

Lacus then helped out James by sending a volley of energy flowers that surround the purple Gundam and blast it on all sides, just as James attacks hit it. However, everyone was shocked to see the machine's eyes glowed before it instantly sent out several orbs out of its back to surround itself. These "Reflector Bits" then seemed to suck in the attacks, and then fired the attacks back at the Enji. Lacus set up a barrier just in time to protect her and the others and winced."No, it can absorb energy attacks?"

Cloud then stated, "It seems clear that this one is much stronger than the Destroy Gundam. Samus, can you pick up any weaknesses on it?"

The bounty hunter responded with,"No critical ones, seems like Kira pulled out all the stops for this one. No wonder there were rumors that a giant purple Gundam wiped out the forces of an entire planet and made it submit to the Titans."

Geno-Wyrmmon then roared out,"Even so, it's just one of the same large bullies from before, with a better shield! In that case, we will just have to get right up and smash it apart so we can, huh? Uh Oh!"

Everyone then saw the massive machine glow, before a female voice cried out," You all came here just to make fun of me! You all are the ones who stole my memories! Give them back! "

Everyone tensed up before firing energy blasts from all over its body. Everyone then dashed out of the way to avoid being blasted full of holes, as the salvo from the Gundam tore apart the whole block and everything in it.

Cloud then stated,"It has even more fire power than the Destroy Gundam, however that won't keep us from getting to it! We just have to keep on it and punch a hole through its defenses, before it can put a hole through us. Still, what the hell is up with this pilot?"

Lacus saw from inside the Mecha was a woman with short green hair with a unstable look before the woman cried out," What I want are memories, I want to know more about myself!"

The O suddenly flew past the larger mecha before Scirocco uttered," The only way to get those memories are to kill the Enji Four! They are the ones keeping your happiness away from you!"

"Damn you!" Four shrieked out." If I kill all of you, it will kill my pain!"

As if on cue, the machine's arms glowed and large energy blades came out of both of its forearms. The Psycho Gundam Mark II then detached its arms and tries to impale Cloud and Doug with them.

The two warriors were able to avoid them, but find that the blades go through the street, only to break out on the other side and continue to hone in on them. Doug got fed up with this and yelled out,"That's it, I don't know what is going on with this broad but I am sick of being on the cross hairs of all you idiots! Time to take this guy down, and then do a repeat for their boss! Sphere of Might!"

Doug then fired off his powerful energy attack right into the arm of the mobile suit, and blasted it off course into a building! Before crying out, "Sorry to mess up your precious machine, but you can just put in on my, huh? Hey, wait till I finish my speech before you shoot me, damn it!"

The hot blooded man saw the opponent's machine opened fire and after dodging a fresh barrage of blasts he smirked."Ha, sorry, but you're way too slow! Now, how about you, AH!"

Doug's taunt was ruined when he was unexpectedly blasted in the back. It seems the gigantic machine used its reflector bits to redirect its blasts, right into Doug. As he was sent flying, Lacus saw this and screamed out,"Oh no, Doug! You, I won't allow you to cause any more damage!"

Although the pilot of one of the most powerful Titan weapons cried out," You monsters...all of you who would steal my memories, I'll smash you into pieces" The pilot then responded by sicking both of its sword arms at Lacus. The female Enji was in a tight spot, as not only was she trying to avoid being skewered, but also escaping being hit by all the blasts being sent her way.

With all the firepower, the Gundam had, no one else who could reach it, so Lacus tried to get some breathing room by grabbing one arm with her energy ribbon, and throwing it at the other.

She then gathered her power and looked determined."You...the Titans are using you as a puppet, just like Ben. Sorry, but I can't afford to let this continue, Burst Stream of Judgment!"

Lacus then fired off her powerful energy beam right into the center of the machine, causing an explosion. She took a deep breath at the sight of the damage."Whew, that was close. Is everyone okay? What the, oh no!"

From the smoke, Lacus was shocked to see emerge the damaged, but still standing, Psycho Gundam Mark II, and it was charging right for Lacus. Before she could move out of the way, it tried to smash her into the pavement.

Lacus used all of her strength to hold back the giant foot from crushing her and Cloud saw this before saying,"Lacus! Hang on!"

He tried to dash over there and slash the foot off, but Four cried out a unhinged," All I wanted was my memories! Is...is that so wrong? You...your trying to take everything away form me! AHH!" As the pilot got even more unstable her machine unleashed a frenzy of energy beams from all over the purple monstrosity keep him away. As he deflected the shots away, looked around."Damn this thing, it's really getting on my nerves."

As Cloud struggled to break through his opponent's onslaught, Lacus struggles to hold off the giant metal foot waiting to smash her. It's pressing harder and harder and Lacus then stated,"No, I can't let this be the end! I have to keep my promise. Ben, he always kept his promises to me. However, I, I took him for granted. I let Brad convince me that he was just jealous of me and Brad.

But, all he really wanted was someone to reach out to him. And because I blocked him out, his suffering nearly drove him mad! Ben, I can't let you die, I have to tell you how sorry I am. I won't let anyone stop me until I do that. Because, now it's time I help you, like you always helped me!"

Lacus then started to shine with power and her magic energy exploded. Its pressure was enough to blast the Psycho Gundam variant right off her and it used its thrusters to hover in mid air. Everyone then saw that her aura begins to take its own shape, and nearly took the form of a dragon.

Samus was analyzing this power with her visor and walked up to Cloud."What is this? I never detected this kind of energy before, it's even more chaotic than Phazon!"

Cloud responded with a gulp."Amazing, I guess it's true. So she has been making progress with Terra and the others controlling the power of the Blue Eye White Dragon after all."

James, Doug, and Geno-Wyrmmon landed near Cloud and James fixed his glasses."What did you say, Cloud? Something about a dragon, is that a rare spell or something?"

Cloud, who quickly remembered that only Ben and Brad were the only non Captain rank Enji that knew the truth about Lacus, quickly coughed."Oh nothing, it's just I was saying how Lacus seems to have been going through some serious training. She sure has been taking her job seriously."

Lacus then had wings of energy extended out of her back and flew into the air before hovering right in front of the head of the massive purple obstacle. She then pointed her charged up Oath-Keeper sword at it."I can't be afraid any longer. For the sake of my friends, and the stability of the cosmos, I won't hold anything back. I'm sorry for the pain your going through, but one way or another I'll make it end soon."

She then charged at her opponent and her response was yet another barrage of mega particle blasts. However, Lacus showcased a new power of hers and drew all the attacks into her blade like a magnet. She then had her sword shine even more with holy energy, as she prepared to go on the offensive. The Gundam fired off its left sword arm at her but she then stated, "Sorry, not this time! Now, Eternal Penance Wave!"

Lacus then had energy ribbons burst out of her free hand to form a blue claw of energy to catch the attack and stop it in its tracks before she then delivered a powerful magic charged slash that was so powerful that it cuts through the beam sword and the rest of the hand in one strike.

This shocked the pilot and it fires all its weapons at her. She is able to deflect all of them using her energy ribbon to knock them all back.

Samus then charged the machine from behind and stated."Not bad, but I hate to be looked on as an add on, time to wrap this up!"

She then jumped up, and then performed her screw attack to smash through two reflector bits and then proceeded to cut right into its shoulder to cause one of its beam cannons to blow up, causing Lacus to smile with relief. "Thank you, Samus, now allow me to end this struggle."

Lacus then was covered with celestial energy and she then dashed right at the Gundam, and delivers a palm thrust, and as it slams into the giant purple machine, suddenly it explodes with holy energy and a hole rips through the chest of the Psycho Gundam.

Like the Destroy Gundam before it, explosions started to break out all over it, however, the heroes were shocked when the mobile suits head detached from its body, as Four screamed out in pain." Memories...who needs them!? Let it all disappear, everything and everyone!" She tried to continue the battle, but Cloud charged at it."Sorry, but this madness ends here! Climhazzard!"

Cloud then defected the blasts his way, and then struck his sword into the head and lands a powerful lightning fast sword struck to slash the head and sent it crashing to the ground.

He landed just as the machines body fell down and exploded, and Lacus then landed on the ground. Geno-Wyrmmon saw her took some heavy breaths before he walked over."Wow, Lacus, you were great out there! I never knew you had this power! What is it, anyway?"

Lacus just smiled nervously and laughed.,"Oh, it's just a secret family thing that I had been working on lately. Thanks to Miss Terra, I had been able to use it in combat lately. So, now that we got out of the way, shall we precede before they hurl more massive war machines at us?"

Doug laughed , "Sounds good to me, next stop, Outer Heaven!"

They all then resume their dash to the castle, and after taking care of a few more roadblocks, they at last reach the "Royal district" and had a close up view of the capital building of the Lylat Kingdom. Samus then stated, "Well, we are here, now comes the fun part. So, I hope you guys planned a way to get inside, because that was not part of my job description."

Cloud then says, "Well, to be honest, I kind of thought of that as an oversight. Er, might have been better to have thought this through a little more."Geno-Wyrmmon then says,"Why plan, when the answer is simple? Just blast our way in! Trinity Fury Cannon!"

Lacus then smirks before emitting a playful, "Well, I suppose it's too late to be subtle anyway. Burst Stream of Judgment!"

She then fires her holy energy wave to merge with the Digimon's blast, Doug, James, Cloud and Samus then all add into the mix with their Sphere of Might, fully poured energy arrow, an energy sword wave, and a Hyper Beam to make a massive blast of power. However, even a blast of that magnitude was just reflected off and everyone watched their combined attack blast through a row of buildings before causing an explosion.

Doug then pounded the ground and whistled. "Damn it, where were all these fancy defense systems when Xehamaru had his invasion? It would have been useful then, but now it's a real pain in the rear!"

Cloud sighed as he looked at all the destruction."Xehamaru made his attack too fast to make use of them, and thinking about the past won't change our situation."

"So, what are we going to do? We already threw everything we had at it!"

James then looked around as he retorted with a dire,"Yes, this is presenting quite a predicament. If we don't do something soon, though, everything will have been for nothing."

Lacus looked around with worry as she flicked her hair out of her eyes."No, we came too far now, there has to be something we can do! Huh, what is that?"

She saw the O fly for her and the others before its pilot declared," And yet in the end your struggle is for nothing my dear! If you just obeyed you would have had a far better fate, you could have even became a new queen!"

Lacus winced as she thought about Four and Stella and glared at the Titan commander." You mean be a puppet like those girls piloting your toys! The Titan Force is so great that they have to kidnap pepole from there families!"

"You misunderstand Lacus Raystar. We did not take those woman from there families, because they already had no families left to be taken from! Woman like them already lost everything from war, and the trauma broke them into nothing but broken dolls. Kira's great mercy was to make use of such broken pepole and allow them to still have a purpose in society! Compared to the fate of dying as worthless trash in the shadows its a act of kindness that he could let such broken pepole be useful!"

"Mercy!?" Lacus cried out with indignation." You, Kira, you don't get to decide what's someone's use is! You don't get to decide what allows someone to have worth!"

"Lament reality all you want my dear, that's just the way existence works! Those who have no place in society, those who don't add anything worthwhile to the community, are one way or another erased! Its the natural instinct of society Enji, just look!

She and the others heard a noise, and all of a sudden the sky lighted up. When it cleared, many war ships appeared in the sky. Among them were the Ra Cailum and the Great Fox. As the ships head for the massive floating castle, Cloud looked around tensely."Oh great, this could magnify our problems a bit."

Back in the throne room of Outer Heaven, Kira saw this and smirked while darkly saying,"How perfect, now the end of this futile struggle approaches. How foolish of the Enji, did they really think they could stop me when the whole Galactic Lylat Kingdom is at my command? Ah, let's see who is commanding this fleet."

He pressed a button and the image of none other than Fox Mcloud appeared. The seasoned fighter pilot and now part-time commander looked at Kira via Hologram and Kira smirked while saying,"Perfect timing, as usual, Star Fox team. Now that you and the fleet have arrived, it would be appreciated if you help the Titans burn these traitorous Enji into dust."

Fox just looked serious and responded with an edgy, "Not so fast, King Kira. First, me and a few admirals have a few questions."

Kira looked annoyed and rasped out an icy, "You will have your answers, once this little uprising is quelled. Now...hurry. Time is of the essence."

Fox then narrowed his eyes before he cleared his throat. "Yeah, that's the thing. While we all were told to execute order 66, you never really proved to us why all of the Enji are now the enemies of the Lylat Kingdom.

Admiral Bright, Admiral Peppy, Nick Fury, Optimus Prime, Major Alex Louis Armstrong,Admiral Ackbar, Admiral Keyes, Admiral Grumman, Admiral Hackett, Admiral Antilles, and myself all have concerns that you have not shown any evidence that they are guilty."

"They have killed our beloved King Atem, and now the majority of the subcommittee as well. They and their poster boy, Ben Auro, have been plotting against our beloved society for some time and if they are not dealt with now, this war would have been meaningless! So, do I have to explain myself further, or will you complete your orders?"

"Sorry, but I think you do. You see, part of the reason we are all here is that we received a transmission describing quite a different tale than what you explained to the senate. And we need this to be cleared up or some major problems are going to happen."

"Oh, really? What is wrong, something fishy to you? I am disturbed you have such a lack of faith in me, Fox. After all I have devoted my life to serving justice, no one is more loyal to the Lylat Kingdom than I and when were you under the impression you had the clout to challage that? Now, enough of this, are you still going to believe the words of a few liars, over your king?"

All of a sudden, a new voice cut into his channel with a sharp"It's more than a few liars, Kira. They were my friends, and now it's time you admit the truth about what you have done!"

All of a sudden, the image of Erich Raystar appears next to Fox, even though he was in a different place. The sight of this caused Kira 's eye to twitch as he muttered a uneasy,"Erich, you're still alive. What a relief, the reports said you were tragically killed."

"Enough, Kira, are you surprised because you were the one who ordered my death? I was, and still am at the Enji castle. And I saw first hand your treachery! Your twisted dreams have devoured your sanity! Now, where is King Atem? We know he is not really dead! What did you do to him?"

Kira 's face resumed being as blank as the droids around him as he sighed."Please, gentlemen I think you're all blowing this out of proportion. I admit I acted swiftly, but it was only to ensure success. I would never have done such things."

"So you say, but if you are truly innocent of any wrongdoing, you will turn your self in, so we can clear things up, and investigate all you really have been up to these past years."

Kira then raised his eyebrows as he leaned forward."Excuse me? You want me to turn myself in for crimes I have not even committed? Such accusations about your Supreme King are unforgivable!"

Fox then growled out a dead panned, "It's simple, if you have nothing to hide, just agree to stop this and answer our questions. However, if you won't, then we will do what it takes. Even the will of the Supreme King is not absolute! Most of all, some fan of yours named deep throat gave us some disturbing information about how you truly ended some battles!"

Kira could not help but let out a bitter laugh. "Heh... you simpletons, you're as tainted by your faulty logic as the Enji! I'm the one the one with the resolve to realize the final solutions your all to weak to do yourselves! If you will not come to your senses, then I am left with no choice. No one will be forgiven that tries to defy my rule! But you do have my thanks for not dragging this out. Once all those who are to weak willed to hesitate to do things that are needed to be done like genocide and not being weighed down by emotions to do there duty, then at last there will be peace in the universe!"

Erich saw the raw hate in the younger man's eyes before he sighed. "In that case, by the power I have, and with the agreement of the majority of the Lylat military, you are officially under arrest and your power of command void till your right to rule can be proven!"

Fox nodded before adding, "All forces, engage the Titan fleet and assist the Enji! "

Both of their images fade, and a furious Kira caused a shock wave of magic energy to shake the room and blow the solders in there into the walls. He then seethed out,"Why are so many people being so irrational? Are they all so unable to do what must be done? Tsc, no matter what, I will not let my destiny be stopped by soft willed souls that are unwilling to sacrifice for the greater good! I will do what it takes, even if I must shatter the Lylat Kingdom and rebuild it from its ashes! All units, any unit that assist the Enji are traitors as well, fire at will. Still, I wonder what gave everyone such a rebellious will? Someone had to push them to this, and I will find out who. In any case, it's time to shatter their light of hope.

Kira issues more commands to his forces, and the second battle over Neo Arcadia broke out once more.

Everyone saw the units supporting the Enji attack the Titans, leaving the Enji confused.

One Enji in particular did not seem to even notice, and of course, it's Brad. At the moment, Brad was just making the squad of mobile suits attacking him shatter like blowing pins using an energy ball of his like a bowling boll when he saw the Enji loyalist open fire on the Titans.

He then scratched his back, using the arm of a mobile suit arm he tore off, and belched out before looking around." What the hell is this? They think they can put on some sort of show? Whatever, all I care about is smashing anyone stupid enough to mess with me. They will be kicked out of the planet! Hey, what just tickled?"

Brad then feels an impact, and realized that he just got blasted in the back by the twin high energy cannons of the last standing Destroy Gundam in its bipedal attack mode! However, even a powerful blast like that does not even phase Brad when he is this powered up and he just turns around and says, "What, you think you can beat me with your little peashooter? Destroy Gundam, I'll show you what someone with real power can really destroy!"

He then charged at the machine while yelling with mad laughter. The mobile suit fired off another round, but Brad just took the hit and kept dashing forward without even flinching. He then just extended his arms, and thrashed the legs with ease.

The bulky man jumped up and landed on the top, leaving a large dent in the process. He then showed his power by flicking his wrist, and shattering the rest of the machine. As its remains blew up, he howled with primal fury." Ha, that will teach them! Now, if Lacus and the others would just hurry up and bail out Star wuss so I can enter the castle and teach Kira who the real king is! Oh well, at least I have plenty of losers to keep me busy! Hahaha!"

Brad then charged forward and went on to smash through more soldiers.

Meanwhile, we return to Squad 7 and co, and they still have had no luck breaking the barrier.

Scirocco was distracted at the betrayal and saw some of his units get destroyed before he had the O take out its beam sabers." Jamito, Bask, don't just let those rats make fools out of us! Huh?"

He saw Amuro in the Nu Gundam along with a few others fly at him before the first Gundam plot cried out," Your the fools for thinking we would just stand by and watch this go down Scirocco! The London Bell Unit will clean up this mess!"

"You think you can match me boy when you can't even put down Char?"

"He's not alone!"

The titan pilot saw a new Gundam with glowing purple wings fly up before he grit his teeth." The Destiny? Shin, you dare betray the suprime king's mercy?"

"Mercy? You promised that Stella would be safe! You lied! You, your going to pay!"

"That's right!" Another pilot roared out." You used Four to!"

"And Marie!"Another Gundam pilot yelled out."

"And Cecile!"Yelled out another."

"And Allenby! Your through!"

"Bah, if all of you are so easily wavered by mere emotion, then your just fools! Think such naked emotion can trump me? Try it! Alejandro...have the Alvaaron provide cover fire precisely at my command to put these ingrates in there place!"

Cloud saw the two mobile suits start to fight, and saw his lack of progress and winced. "Sigh, Fox and the others coming to their senses is good for us in general, but it still does not help us much. Damn it, we are almost out of time! Huh, this new magic energy, where did it come from? What the?"

Everyone then saw a flash of light burst out, and became a burst of black flames that hit the barrier. In only moments,the barrier then opened up, like acid corroded it from the power of the black fire. As the Enji looked in shock a voice then stated, "Those that defend the light, enter quickly, for this spell will only hold up the barrier briefly. Do not worry, I am your ally. Now hurry and rescue the one chosen by the celestial ones to be our savior!"

James looked around tensely. "What the, who is this guy? He really expects us to just trust him"

Lacus looked at the hole and shrugged. " Despite how the spell looks, I don't sense any darkness around the energy from this fire, at least, not the vile kind. And right now we have no time to lose, I'll risk it! Hang on, Ben!"

Lacus then dashed and jumped right through the hole in the barrier before landing on an alcove. Cloud saw this and shrugged. "Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Let's go!"

Samus then stated, "Oh well, better than just waiting here."

The bounty Hunter and Squad 7 then hurry and followed after Lacus, and manage to make it through the hole in time. Although Geno-Wyrmmon did get stuck, as the shield started to close on him and he had to turn back to Hiryuumon to make it thorough.

As Doug grabbed the Digimon by his tail to pull him up, the man who cast the spell that let Ben's allies, in watched from the distance, and it's none other than the mysterious Diz. The enigmatic man just put his hand on his chin and looked around."Good, they made it. As long as things go according to plan, there is still time to keep things from descending into madness. Now, time to make sure the other Enji get in as well."

With this, Diz warped away to a new location, and our viewpoint changes back once more. This time we are back to Ben.

At the moment, Ben had just been transported to the execution site of Kira's choosing, the Soukyoku Hill.

Ben saw a large garden in a dome like area, with four massive pillars. Ben saw his surroundings and chuckled bitterly. "This is what is going to kill me? It almost looks, peaceful."

Ocelot laughed as he leaned down. "Oh, it may not look like much now boy, but just you wait. Yes, it's going to make what you did to my arm feel like a tickle! Hey you! Is the thing ready yet!"

Ben's eyes were turned to above, where he was shocked to see a strange creature moving panels around. This is in fact a Digimon, and what is more is that he is one of the three celestial Mega Digimon who is supposed to be advising the King.

He was a giant purple humanoid who had rabbit features. He had yellow eyes, and was Cherubimon.

The traitor to King Atem turned to Ocelot and looked annoyed."Be patient, it's not everyday an Enji is to be killed. It's going to be quite a spectacle!"

"Well hurry up! Those pesky Enji are going to be trying to ruin this show!"

Ben looked around and winced. "I don't know why you're all in such a hurry. It's not like anyone is going to come see. No one wants to save a worthless traitor, anyway."

Well, looks like things keep getting more and more desperate! Now that Fox and the other Lylat Admiral that have sided with the Enji are helping them out, the warriors of light have some breathing room. However, they are still running out of time, as Ben's execution is going to begin any minute! Can Cloud, Lacus, and others rescue Ben from his fate?
