When she found him on a bench in the park, head in hands, her heart went out to him. Silently, she took her place on the bench next to him and laid her head in his shoulder. He didn't move. Lisa sighed. She knew Hector was crying. He did that sometimes. She knew he didn't like to show it. He never was keen on looking weak. She guessed he loved her as more than a little sister. He did.

By the time he gathered up his courage to speak, Lisa had moved her head. When he lifted his, Hector found her staring intently at him.

"I was never good with spelling." Lisa grinned at him. Hector managed to smile back. He took her in his arms and hugged her like they were five again. Lisa hugged him back.
